Hillary Clinton has now taken to comparing her loss in the 2016 presidential election to the 9/11 terror attack.
During a recent appearance at the Atlantic Festival, Hillary said, in reference to Russian interference in the election, “It is the first time … that we have been attacked by a foreign power and have done nothing. It would be like – I can’t even imagine — I mean, it’s a horrible example, but after 9/11, [if] George W. Bush said, ‘Well, I don’t have time to meet. I don’t have time to worry about this. It was terrible. We feel sorry about it. We’ll rebuild New York and the Pentagon, but we’re not going to worry about it.’”
“Well at a certain point, that’s what this is turning into. The evidence continues to accumulate,” Clinton continued.
She Really Said It
Hilary had one thing right… it was a horrible example.
The fact she is now resorting to comparing the alleged Russian interference to what happened on 9/11 continues to show how out of touch this woman really is with the American people.
Thousands of innocent American lives were lost on 9/11.
All that happened in 2016 was that Hillary lost the election. Not because Trump colluded with Russia. She lost because the American people did not want to vote for her.
Nobody here is questioning that the Russians made an attempt to influence the 2016 presidential election.
However, based on the facts, we know they did not manage to change the outcome.
What we also know is there was no collusion on the part of Donald Trump to work with the Russians to influence the election.
While there have been some reports of Russians hacking election systems, no votes were affected.
Hillary continues to insist the attempted hack by the Russians is not being taken seriously by this administration, but that is not the case either.
Because of what we learned about their attempted hack, the Trump administration was able to lock down a system that was susceptible to attack under Barack Obama.
Hillary wants to know “what really happened”?
You lost, Hillary, that is what really happened.
The time has come for Hillary to move on and let it go.
As emergency responders at car accidents are wont to say, “Nothing to see here, move along.”
