Hillary Clinton announces death of her younger brother, Anthony Rodham
The Clinton family was struck by tragedy this weekend.
On Friday night, the youngest brother of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Anthony Rodham, passed away at the age of 65.
At 65, Anthony Rodham should have had plenty of life left to live. Unfortunately, though, his life was cut tragically short and he passed away Friday night.
Hillary Clinton was obviously overwhelmed with grief.
The twice-failed presidential candidate announced the death via Twitter.
“We lost my brother Tony last night,” Hillary stated. “It’s hard to find words, my mind is flooded with memories of him today. When he walked into a room he’d light it up with laughter.”
She went on: “He was kind, generous, & a wonderful husband to Megan & father to Zach, Simon, & Fiona.”
Not Without Controversy
Anthony Rodham has been linked to the presidency of Bill Clinton as well as Hillary’s time when she served as secretary of State for all the wrong reasons.
He has been reported on several occasions to have leaned on his older sister and brother-in-law to help him with some of his business ventures.
Rodham has also been linked to the scandalous Clinton Foundation.
Additionally, he reportedly used ties made through the Clintons for a building project in Haiti.
While there have been no reports of foul play or suicide, Hillary has not yet revealed exactly how her brother died.
