Hannity will move out of New York to live in Florida: Report

 May 4, 2024

Over the past few years, a number of celebrities have ditched their mansions in California and New York to move to Florida.

According to the Daily Mail, the latest high-profile celeb with those same intentions is Fox News host Sean Hannity, who recently listed his Long Island, New York mansion to prepare to move to Florida.

Hannity had reportedly said that he was "done" with New York earlier this year, and it appears he's following through on that claim.

The outlet said Hannity recently "listed his seven-bedroom Oyster Bay mansion for $13.75 million."

What's going on?

Hannity apparently has a full plan ready to deploy as far as his career is concerned. He will reportedly broadcast his radio and TV show from his West Palm Beach, Florida home or studios nearby.

"We are now beginning our first broadcast from my new home and that is in the free state of Florida," the host said months ago on his popular radio show. "I am out. I am done. I'm finished."

The Daily Mail added:

The Centre Island estate boasts six acres of lush green land, plenty of trees to dot the property and a 81-foot private dock going right out into Oyster Bay, according to the listing.

The listing hypes up the gourmet kitchen as a 'culinary haven,' complete with marble countertops, top-of-the-line appliances, custom cabinets and long white center island with comfy stools.

The dining room is closed off from the kitchen for a more intimate setting. The room is white with intricate molding and has a minimalist chandelier above the eight-person table.

Even in the current real estate economy, most believe Hannity won't have a problem selling the beautiful estate while pocketing a tidy profit.

New home

Hannity picked up his Florida condo in Palm Beach back in 2021, reportedly paying $5.3 million for it at the time.

The Fox News host made clear the primary reason why he wants to reside in the Sunshine State, saying, "Finally, for the first time that I can think of in my adult life, I actually have representatives in the state that I'm living in that share my values."

Of course, former President Donald Trump also lives in Palm Beach at his Mar-a-Lago estate.

Only time will tell if more celebs make the same move for the same reasons.
