Hannity hits back at mainstream media after recent criticism
Mainstream media pundits have been hammering Sean Hannity this week for stating Pelosi’s behavior was “beyond despicable” for saying she wanted Trump to be thrown in prison.
Hannity stated: “As per usual the lazy and abusively biased media mob are lying to their ever-shrinking audiences yet again.”
Calls of Hypocrisy
The media pundits were hitting Hannity because of how critical he was about Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential campaign.
Hannity was generally at the front of the pack calling for Clinton to be prosecuted for her alleged crimes. Now that Dems are saying the same thing about Trump, Hannity has finds himself on the other side of the coin.
The difference, according to Hannity, is that the situation is completely different now. He stated, “Donald Trump committed no crime in spite of the bizarre conspiracy theories that have been told daily for over two years.”
The facts back up Hannity in this matter, as the Mueller report exonerated him on conspiracy.
The Case Against Hillary
Calling for Hillary to be jailed was far different from what we have seen against Trump. If there was ever a case to be made for obstructing justice, Hillary’s email server should be in Chapter 1 of the textbook.
Hannity stated” “The evidence is overwhelming and incontrovertible that Hillary Clinton committed multiple felonies by putting ‘classified’ and ‘Top Secret’ information on a private server, stored in a bathroom closet. Read 18 USC 793 ‘The Espionage Act.’ That was her underlying crime.”
Hillary’s staff destroyed their Blackberries and iPhones rather than turn them over to the government. Professional techniques were used to scrub her server clean.
These were clearly the actions of someone that knew they were guilty and doing everything to thwart the investigation into those crimes.
Trump, on the other hand, turned over millions of documents to Robert Mueller in an effort to speed along the investigation.
Unless you have been brainwashed by the liberal ideology, it is pretty clear who was actually guilty in each of these cases.
