Trey Gowdy says Russians tried to undermine Hillary Clinton

Anyone who has been paying attention for the past 70 years is aware that Russia is not a friend to the United States.

Rep. Trey Gowdy made news this week when he said that he agrees with those that believe Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election.

Hillary Clinton.

South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy stunned many conservatives when he said he disagreed with the House Intelligence Committee’s assessment that the Russians did not intend to help President Donald Trump defeat Hillary Clinton.

Gowdy said that “based on the evidence, Russia had disdain for Secretary Clinton and was motivated in whole or in part by a desire to harm her candidacy or undermine her presidency had she prevailed.”

That could be accurate, but it has also been discovered that Russia coordinated rallies for and against both candidates in an effort to create dissension among Americans.

They ran Facebook ads that were for and against Black Lives Matter, NFL players who knelt for the National Anthem, gun control and many other contentious issues.

Divide And Conquer.

Republican presidential candidate, and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney was mocked in 2012 when he faced President Obama in a debate and said that Russia was our main enemy.

He was mocked by the mainstream media and comedians who are now convinced that Russia is our main enemy.

After President Trump won the presidential election the Russians immediately went to work organizing rallies and creating ads against him.

Their goal was not to have a President Trump. Their goal was to have a weakened president, no matter who won.

The Resistance, who believes it is fighting against the Russians, are playing into their hands by helping to create the angry environment that injures America.

And they have convinced Americans to do their bidding by undermining President Trump.
