Glenn Beck blames border crisis on American communists, George Soros

April 12, 2019 by Jerry McCormick

The Blaze’s Glenn Beck blamed “American communists” in Chicago, who he says are funded by liberal billionaire George Soros, for encouraging Central American migrants to illegally cross the U.S.-Mexico border during an appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity” on Wednesday night.

While speaking with host Sean Hannity, Beck turned to the camera and addressed President Donald Trump, saying, “Mr. President, please, you are not going to solve the problem at the border. I know that seems rational, but when you look at the evidence – we can’t fight the enemy if we won’t call them by name, and these are communists.”

“American communists in Chicago, that are taking loads of money from George Soros and others, they are orchestrating this,” he said.

The Floodgates are Opening

Soros has largely managed to operate in the shadows for decades, but that appears to be beginning to change. Soros’ name is coming up more and more in the mainstream media as conservative pundits become bolder about calling him out.

Beck published a 20+ minute video on his YouTube channel on Tuesday on who he says is really behind the flood of Central American migrants.

According to Beck, the border crisis can’t be fixed without tackling the root cause, which is, in this case, open borders activists in Chicago.

In the video, Beck detailed the connections between Pueblo Sin Fronteras — the group that organized several large migrant caravans from Central America recently — Familia Latina Unita, Adalberto Methodist Church in Chicago, and left-wing activist Emma Lozano and her family.

Beck said that Soros’ Open Society Foundations has donated to the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, which he said supports Pueblo Sin Fronteras.

However, the Catholic Legal Immigration Network denied giving financial support to Pueblo Sin Fronteras, according to Newsweek.

Liberals in Denial

Even with Soros getting more attention lately, it was still a bit of a surprise to hear a major personality like Glenn Beck call out Soros on live TV.

Beck, of course, is coming under fire from liberal news sources for making these comments, but that surely will not stop him from talking about what’s happening.

Considering Soros’ wealth and influence, this is a very encouraging sign for conservatives.
