George Conway slams Trump, puts his wife’s job in jeopardy
Most people would kill to be a fly on the wall in the Conway household, especially after this weekend.
George Conway, the husband of Kellyanne Conway, a top Trump adviser, attacked President Trump this weekend on Twitter, telling him he would be fired from virtually any job in the country by now.
You’re not “presidential” at all, period. You’re mentally unwell. You engage in bizarre, irrational, self-defeating behavior, which prompts criticism of you, which triggers more bizarre, irrational, self-defeating behavior. You would have been fired from any other job by now. https://t.co/jZ1n21qptp

Hitting Trump Hard
If you did not know who George Conway was before Trump entered the Oval Office, you are not alone. Before Conway started to wage this personal war with his wife’s boss, few Americans did know of him.
Conway is clearly trying to cash in on his 15 minutes of fame. Unfortunately, it is largely coming at the cost of the credibility of his wife, Kellyanne.
Trump has, for the most part, let Conway’s comments slide, but this was a particularly hard-hitting narrative that Trump and/or Kellyanne are going to have to address.
The President may not mind Conway hitting him on the “presidential” aspect of the tweet but going after his mental aptitude as well as his overall performance will not sit well with Trump.
How Much Longer…
The growing question among Trump supporters, though, is how much longer is this going to go on?
After all, how seriously can anyone take Kellyanne Conway when she shares a home with a man that relentlessly attacks Donald Trump?
We cannot even imagine what the mood in the Oval Office is when George Conway sends out a tweet like this and Kellyanne has to look Trump in the eye to try to explain it.
For her part, Kellyanne has refused to address her marriage and its health publicly, which is absolutely her right. Having said that, Trump’s supporters are starting to get fed up with George’s non-stop attacks against Trump.
Living in a household with someone that is completely obsessed with Donald Trump for all the wrong reasons cannot be easy.
At some point, this dam is going to break and when it does, it promises to be quite ugly.
