Friend of Harry and Meghan claims Royal Family 'lied' about Middleton's cancer diagnosis

 March 25, 2024

A friend of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is now claiming that the Royal Family lied to the public about Kate Middleton's cancer diagnosis.

The friend, according to the New York Post, is 48-year-old entrepreneur Christopher Bouzy.

He made the claim on Friday, March 22, 2024, just minutes after Middleton revealed to the world that she has cancer. Take a look:

"North Korea . . . propaganda"

In his message, not only did Bouzy accuse the Royal Family of lying about Middleton's cancer diagnosis, but he also went so far as to say that the Royal Family engaged in the sort of propaganda that one would expect from the likes of North Korea.

"The palace lied, and the British press happily helped them lie. The countless 'conspiracy theory' headlines, while knowing a lot of what was being said was true. This is really some North Korea/Trumpian type of propaganda," Bouzy wrote.

What Bouzy appears to have been trying to say is that, the sort of things that the Royal Palace did from hiding the details of Middleton's surgery to the post-surgery photo controversies amounts to propaganda.

Suffice it to say that many disagree. Bouzy, in fact, received some heavy criticism for his message, which prompted him to post a second message in which he claimed that he is "sorry" to learn that Middleton has cancer.

"I am sorry to hear Kate has cancer, and I hope she has a full recovery. But it is also clear that all three earlier photos of her were fake, and the palace tried to cover it up," Bouzy wrote.

Middleton's announcement

On Friday, Middleton posted a video message to her official Instagram account informing the world that she has cancer.

"In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful," Middleton said.

She continued, "However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment."

Middleton went on to say that this all came as "a huge shock" and that it has taken time for herself and Prince William to "process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family."

She concluded by saying that, "for now," she must continue to "focus on making a full recovery."
