Many Trump supporters blame of the ineptness of the Republican Party during Trump’s first two years in office on former House Speaker Paul Ryan.
As such, it was no surprise to hear Fox News viewers object when it was announced that Paul Ryan would be joining the board of directors of the network’s parent company, Fox Corporation.
Will longtime viewers be saying goodbye to their favorite TV network?
Big Changes at Fox
If Paul Ryan’s addition to their BOD was the only big thing happening at Fox right now, viewers would probably not be overly worried. However, this is far from the only thing Fox has done recently that has viewers believing the network is headed in the wrong direction.
It was only a week ago Judge Jeanine Pirro was severely disciplined over her comment about Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN).
To most, she did nothing but ask the questions most media outlets are too afraid to even touch. Fox did not see it that way, though, and pulled her Saturday show off the air — at least for now.
Not long after that, it was revealed that Fox News had hired Donna Brazile, one of the major players in the Democratic National Committee that rigged the party for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential primaries.
And now, Trump enemy Paul Ryan has been hired to be one of the guiding forces at the helm of the entire operation.
Viewers Left Outraged
To say viewers of the network were outraged by this latest news would be a massive understatement.
For all the reasons we posted above, more and more viewers were threatening to turn off their TVs altogether.
The consensus was that Fox News is making a radical turn left, turning into a new version of CNN.
Has Fox News finally been broken by political correctness?
It may take some time before we get that question answered. For the time being, though, the network has kept controversial host Tucker Carlson on the air.
If that changes, however, there is little doubt Fox will be able to maintain its current base of viewers and its No. 1 ranking among cable news networks.
