Fox News adds former DNC chair Donna Brazile as a contributor

Fox viewers were taken by surprise after the network confirmed a new addition to the team.

In an unexpected move, Fox News announced Monday that former Democratic National Committee (DNC) chair Donna Brazile is officially joining the team as a contributor.

View from the Left

Brazile made a statement immediately after the announcement letting everyone know why she was joining Fox, saying that she hoped to engage more people rather than blindly shunning them because they do not have the same political views. Brazile believes Fox viewers do not “hear enough from Democrats.”

Something else she said was rather amusing, all things considered: “We have to engage that audience and show Americans of every stripe that we stand for rather than retreat into our ‘safe spaces’ where we simply agree with each other.”

Ms. Brazile, it was not Republicans and conservatives who retreated to safe spaces. It was liberals that invented the term “safe space.”

Fan Outrage

While some fans are willing to give Brazile the benefit of the doubt, they’re probably the exception rather than the rule.

Conservatives know that for the most part, they can watch news from Fox without having Democrat rhetoric rammed down their throats all the time.

Brazile’s statement tends to make us think that is going to be her approach.

Fox may want to reconsider hiring the woman that helped rig the Democrat party for Hillary as the person to lecture its fans on the way of the left.

Brazile admitted the DNC had worked out an advertising deal with Hillary, basically shutting Sanders out of the party. Furthermore, it is also known that Brazile tilted the scales in a debate by providing Hillary with the questions before the debate, for which she lost her spot as a contributor on CNN.

Keep in mind, now, Fox has just apparently suspended Pirro for her critical comments about Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-NY) while at the same time hiring an unscrupulous woman from the Democrat party.

Fans want to know… is this a bump in the road or is the network making a clear shift to the left?
