Judge Jeanine pleads guilty to 119 mph speeding, gets plea deal

Talk about justice with Judge Jeanine.

Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro was allowed to cop a nice plea deal that avoided having her license suspended after she was caught driving way above the speed limit.

Lead Foot.

The host of “Justice With Judge Jeanine,” one of Fox News’ most popular weekend shows, was caught driving 119 mph in a 65 mph zone back in Nov. 2017 in New York, The New York Daily News reported.

She was stopped in her Cadillac by a state trooper in the Town of Nichols in Tioga County where she was ticketed.

In a statement via Fox News, Pirro said she was racing to visit her mother who was not doing well.

“I had been driving for hours to visit my ailing 89-year-old mom and didn’t realize how fast I was driving,” Pirro said. “I believe in the rule of law and I will pay the consequences.”

The ticket could have cost Pirro 11 points on her driver’s license, according to the state’s Motor Vehicle Department, but that is not what happened to Pirro.

Pleading Her Case.

Pirro had an advantage that most people don’t have when they argue their case.

She is a former district attorney and a former judge. Facts that, no doubt, helped her in getting a pretty sweet plea deal.

Pirro pleaded guilty to driving 95 mph in a 65 mph zone.

But what is important for her is the fact that going 30 miles per hour over the limit could result in six points on her driver’s license, LoHud.com reported.

Had she been found guilty of going more than 40 miles per hour over the speed limit she could have had her license suspended.

Pirro was fined $300, and an additional $93 in fees. Not tough for a person who, according to Celebrity Net Worth, has a net worth of $12 million.
