Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has officially been sworn in as the new speaker of the house.
Fox Business, however, wasn’t interested in what she had to say, cutting away from coverage barely 20 seconds into her acceptance speech.
More of the Same
No doubt, one of the reasons Fox cut away was because of the way Pelosi started her speech.
She immediately stated that she looked forward to creating bipartisan legislation that would benefit the constituents of everyone in Congress.
Sadly, we already know that is nothing but a lie.
Pelosi and her counterparts in the Senate have made it quite clear they don’t want to work with this president or Republicans in general.
They present legislation on their terms and you either take it or leave it.
Dems Tire of Pelosi
These days, Pelosi’s standing within her own party is uncertain.
This Congress currently has 235 seats with the Democrats, yet she only garnered 220 votes.
A significant uprising within the Democrat party wants to see new, more radical leadership within the party.
They are just as sick and tired of the same old Washington run-around as Trump supporters were during the 2016 presidential election.
This is Pelosi’s second time holding the gavel, and it will hopefully be her last.
We expect nothing at all to get accomplished over the next two years with an obstructionist in charge of Congress.
Our only hope is, come election day, voters remember who it really was that brought our government to a screeching halt for two full years.
Look no further than the woman holding the gavel in Congress.
