Federal Judge shuts down Biden administration’s new guidelines that would have ‘halted nearly all deportations’

Southern District of Ohio Judge Michael Newman has blocked the Biden administration from imposing limits on ICE when it comes to arrests, detentions, and removing illegal immigrants.

Judge Newman’s preliminary injunction will stop the new guidelines that represented yet another roadblock to controlling illegal immigration. The decision is a big defeat for President Biden and his reckless immigration policy that has led to millions of illegal immigrants crossing the southern border.

The lawsuit that led to this decision was filed last year by Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen, and Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost who claimed that the new guidelines, “dramatically ties the hands of immigration officers, halting nearly all deportations.”

Insane agenda stopped in its tracks

President Biden and his administration are hellbent on stopping any deportations or controls on illegal immigration.

Thankfully, the judiciary isn’t entirely staffed by leftist ideologues and the President’s insane agenda has been stopped, for now.

Judge Newman’s decision may stop this particular effort by President Biden but it is almost a guarantee that the Biden administration will continue to try and make ICE’s job impossible.

Judge Newman wrote in his decision, “The States sue because they believe DHS skirted Congress’s immigration enforcement mandates when it issued a policy that prioritizes certain high-risk noncitizens for apprehension and removal. DHS contends that seemingly mandatory statutes must be read flexibly to permit efficient law enforcement. At bottom, that is what this dispute is about: can the Executive displace clear congressional command in the name of resource allocation and enforcement goals? Here, the answer is no.”

There is a good chance that this particular battle over restricting ICE’s ability to deport illegal immigrants could make it all the way to the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court has already proven to be less than friendly toward President Biden’s immigration policy, so it’s a long shot that the Biden administration will get a favorable outcome if the case does make it that far.

Reckless and dangerous

The President’s attempts to prevent the deportation of illegal immigrants is both reckless and dangerous.

Americans have to bear the brunt of mass illegal immigration as social services are overwhelmed and crime skyrockets. With open borders also come hundreds of thousands of pounds of dangerous drugs.

The cartels have grown rich due to President Biden’s agenda and Americans are paying the price. Voters will have to make their voice heard in November’s midterm elections if they want real change.
