In a stunning report, it was revealed our Justice Department recently went after a Hillary whistleblower.
Michael Socarras, the attorney for recognized whistleblower Dennis Nathan Cain, told the Daily Caller News Foundation that the FBI came storming into Cain’s home in November, seizing documents he had already legally transmitted to the House and Senate Intelligence committees.
The Knock on the Door
The Intelligence Community Whistleblower Protection Act is supposed to protect whistleblowers.
However, for Cain, that was obviously not the case.
On November 19, FBI agents knocked on his door with a court order to raid his home.
The charge was that Cain was in possession of stolen federal property.
The order had been signed by Federal Magistrate Stephanie A. Gallagher.
Cain did not resist and rather than have the agents rummage through his home, he turned over the documents to the agents.
However, that was apparently not good enough for the agents on the raid.
Cain’s attorney told the DCNF the FBI agents on the scene spent six hours going through Cain’s home in search of more documents.
The FBI acknowledged the raid but would provide no further information about it to the media.
Socarras was furious at the etiquette breach, telling the DCNF, “For the Bureau to show up at Mr. Cain’s home suggesting that those same documents are stolen federal property, and then proceed to seize copies of the same documents after being told at the house door that he is a legally protected whistleblower who gave them to Congress, is an outrageous disregard of the law.”
Still Protecting Hillary
The curious thing in all of this is that it happened after the resignation of Jeff Sessions.
The court order was signed on November 15, more than a week after Sessions resigned.
Now, we know there is a faction within the FBI that do not like President Donald Trump and were allied to Hillary Clinton during the election.
Former FBI director James Comey was a key player in that group, but there are obviously still remnants remaining.
This appears to have been a move to protect Hillary Clinton, as the documents taken were directly related to the Clinton Foundation and the Uranium One scandal.
The documents also contain information alleging that Robert Mueller, then-FBI director, did not properly investigate suspected criminal activity related to the uranium deal, according to the DCNF.
So, Attorney General Whitaker, we look forward to hearing from you about this raid to justify not only the breaking of the Whistleblower Protection Act but also why the FBI is still protecting Hillary Clinton.
