In latest blunder, Biden says he’s created an extensive ‘voter fraud organization’

Looks like Joe Biden has gone off-script again.

Breitbart reports that has the Democratic presidential nominee unwittingly admitted Saturday that his campaign has put together the “most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.”

Breitbart’s Kyle Olson called it “an unfortunate slip of the tongue” for the former vice president, “as the presidential election will likely see major legal battles over the legitimacy of millions of ballots cast via mass-mail voting.”

The cat’s out of the bag

The accidental admission from Biden came on Saturday when the Democrat made an appearance on Pod Save America, which is co-hosted by former staff members of the Barack Obama administration.

According to a transcript from Breitbart, one co-host, Dan Pfeiffer, asked Biden a two-part question to wrap up the interview:

Part one: What’s your message to the folks who have not yet voted or do not yet have a plan to vote? And part two, for the 50 million Americans who’ve already voted, what can they do over the last ten days to help make sure that you’re the next President of the United States?

Biden, for his part, launched into a lengthy response that was at some times disjointed and at others, incoherent. It was then that he made his biggest blunder in weeks.

“We’re in a situation where we have put together — and you guys did it for…President Obama’s administration, before this — we have put together, I think, the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics,” Biden declared, according to Breitbart. Take a look for yourself:

Flip-flopping on voter fraud

Of course, it’s clear that Biden was referring Saturday to an organization designed to prevent voter fraud, but even with that context, the former VP’s statement still fails to bolster arguments made by himself and others on the left that American voters shouldn’t be worried about fraud this Election Day.

Instead, Biden’s remarks actually lend credence to long-standing claims from President Donald Trump that election fraud is a major issue going into Nov. 3.

If voter fraud like this doesn’t exist, then why does Biden need “the most extensive and inclusive…organization in the history of American politics” to fight it? The question remains.
