President Donald Trump has again been vindicated as rumors about the ties between Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and Silicon Valley are true.
Top executives working in the Silicon Valley maxed out personal donation limitations to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars towards Biden’s campaign, Fox News reported. To further illustrate how close Biden is with Big Tech companies, zero executives from Facebook or Twitter donated to Trump’s campaign.
Trump warned that Biden was a pawn of Big Tech companies and the money trail shows that he was right.
Biden is a pawn
Trump has spent the past few years lobbying to have Big Tech companies like Facebook, Twitter, and Google broke up, so it comes as no surprise that those same companies would throw their financial backing behind a candidate to protect their economic empires.
Biden is nothing more than a pawn for the billionaire companies that gain more power with each passing day. To add to the irony, Biden campaigned on a platform of holding big corporations accountable.
Americans shouldn’t hold their breath waiting for Biden to take action against Twitter and Facebook because, as the donations show, Biden is their guy.
An analysis from Fox News found that “According to FEC records, Facebook vice president of public policy, Erin Egan, donated $2,800 to Biden’s campaign on Oct. 1, in addition to the $2,800 she donated to the campaign during the Democratic primaries.”
The slew of thousand-dollar donations didn’t stop at Facebook. Fox News also found that “Instagram’s chief operating officer, Marne Levine, also donated the maximum limit of $2,800 to Biden’s campaign.” Several low-level managers also made thousand-dollar donations to the Biden campaign with no donations going to Trump.
Biden rewarding donations
While the election isn’t entirely settled and Trump still has a slim chance of winning his legal battle, Biden has already gotten to work staffing his cabinet.
Biden has assigned many Silicon Valley insiders to his transition team from Facebook and Google.
Most concerning, Biden has appointed former Google CEO Eric Schmidt to lead a tech task force.
Americans should prepare to see more behavior like this from the Biden administration — staffing his cabinet with sycophants and powerful donors.
