Rumors have swirled for months that Ilhan Omar may very well have committed immigration fraud by marrying her brother — and now it seems the president wants to know more.
Immigration fraud is a serious offense that needs to be cracked down on hard. Especially considering Omar is a sitting politician. No one is above the law.
Allegations that Omar married her brother have been swirling for years. But now as she’s in the public spotlight, a deeper investigation is happening.
The facts aren’t clear right now; even Trump doesn’t know exactly what has happened.
President Donald Trump acknowledged Wednesday he knew nothing about the truth of rumors that Rep. Ilhan Omar married her brother, committing marriage fraud.
Trump is currently at conflict with Omar and the rest of the “Squad,” a group of freshmen congresswomen including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI).
An investigation conducted by a local newspaper was unable to confirm or deny the rumors, but a state investigation into Omar’s taxes revealed potential tax fraud along with the alleged immigration fraud.
If these rumors are true, and she did commit immigration fraud, she should be sent back to her country.
Furthermore, it may provide a good way for Omar to prove she’s right in her criticisms of America. Trump wants her to go back and fix her country of origin and then come back and tell the rest of us what to do.
The New York Post reports: “Trump wrote on Twitter that the congresswomen should “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime-infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done.”
Ilhan Omar and the “Squad” have not done anything substantial to make America great again.
More likely the case is they are taking advantage of America, and that behavior should never be rewarded.
