The fake news media is now pushing conspiracies that Donald Trump wanted to have ALLIGATORS protect America’s Southern Border.
And understandably, President Trump is NOT happy about it…
In a statement to the nation, President Trump said on Twitter:
“Now the press is trying to sell the fact that I wanted a Moat stuffed with alligators and snakes, with an electrified fence and sharp spikes on top, at our Southern Border. I may be tough on Border Security, but not that tough. The press has gone Crazy. Fake News!”
Unsurprisingly, the story was started by the failing New York Times.
Times’ reporters Julie Hirschfeld Davis and Michael D. Shear in their forthcoming book Border Wars: Inside Trump’s Assault on Immigration wrote that Trump allegedly thought of the idea after ordering migrants to be shot:
“After publicly suggesting that soldiers shoot migrants if they threw rocks, the president backed off when his staff told him that was illegal. But later in a meeting, aides recalled, he suggested that they shoot migrants in the legs to slow them down. That’s not allowed either, they told him.”
Of course, the Times’ writers did NOT reveal the names of the people who made the claim.
This is yet another fake news story being pushed by the liberal media. And honestly – it’s not fooling anyone.
These new “scandals” that the media keep inventing aren’t even working. Nobody actually believes them anymore. Every time they come up with something so unbelievable, the more Trump wins politically.
Pushing fake news about President Trump isn’t going to stop him from winning in 2020.
It’s time for Democrat to WAKE UP.
