Ex-Biden associate says it’s ‘crystal clear’ Joe Biden knew about his son’s business dealings: Report

Americans got to finally hear firsthand on Tuesday from Tony Bobulinski, an ex-business partner of Hunter Biden who claims to be able to verify recent reporting that suggests Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden was involved in — or at least aware of — his son’s overseas business dealings.

Speaking with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, Bobulinski made the bombshell claim Tuesday that “Joe Biden and the Biden family are compromised,” the Daily Caller reported.

The history and the facts

Accordingly to Bobulinski, the Bidens are “compromised” because of their business ties to China — and it isn’t just Joe and his son Hunter. Joe Biden’s brother, Jim, is also said to be caught up in the controversy.

“I just don’t see, given the history here in the facts, how Joe can’t be influenced in some manner based on the history that they have,” Bobulinski told Carlson on Tuesday, according to the Daily Caller.

The businessman went on to detail the first time he met Joe Biden: it was at a meeting on May 2, 2017, that Bobulinski was invited to by Hunter and Jim Biden to discuss the Biden family business.

According to the Daily Caller, Bobulinski said that the Biden family wined him and dined him, trying to get him to take on the CEO role of a business venture involving the Delaware-based Oneida Holdings and the Chinese-based CEFC China Energy Co.

“Plausible deniability”

Afterward, Bobulinski says he questioned Jim Biden about whether he and the Bidens were concerned about entering into a business deal with the Chinese considering Joe Biden’s presidential aspirations.

“I know Joe decided not to run in 2016, but what if he ran in the future? Aren’t they taking political risk or headline risk? And I remember looking at Jim Biden and saying, ‘How are you guys getting away with this? Like, aren’t you concerned?'” Bobulinski told Carlson, according to the Daily Caller. “And he certainly looked at me and he laughed a little bit and said, ‘plausible deniability.'”

Bobulinski said he met with Joe Biden again later that day, and the now-former vice president told Bobulinski to “keep an eye on his son and brother,” the Daily Caller reported.

What did he know?

Bobulinski also said Tuesday that it is “crystal clear” that Joe Biden was aware of his son’s Chinese business venture — a claim the former vice president himself has frequently denied.

But Bobulinkski didn’t mince words. “They were putting their entire family legacy on the line. They knew exactly what they were doing. They were dealing with a Chinese owned enterprise…that had strong financial support and political support from the Chinese Communist Party,” Bobulinski told Carlson, according to the Daily Caller. “That’s not my own words. That’s how they presented it to me and read me in on it.”

It seems that “plausible deniability” is because less and less “plausible” for Joe Biden.
