Fox News reports that authorities have located the body of a crypto millionaire.

The body of 41-year-old Fernando Pérez Algaba, who has been described as a cryptocurrency influencer, was found dismembered and stuffed in a suitcase.

The situation is not only gruesome but it is also eerie.

It turns out that Alaba received threatening messages about a week before the remains of his body were discovered.

Algaba's body is found

A few days after he was reported to be missing, the dismembered body of Algaba was found in Argentia by a group of children.

On July 23, the children were playing by a stream of water in Ingeniero Budge, Buenos Aires, Argentina, when they came across a red suitcase. The children proceeded to open the suitcase up, and it was there, in the suitcase, that they found parts of Algaba's body - his arms and his legs.

Initially, these limbs were all that police had to work with. Nonetheless, they were able to use the tattoos on these body parts to positively identify the body as belonging to Algaba.

Subsequently, Algaba's head was also located. It was found floating down the stream in a rucksack.

Upon closer investigation, the authorities determined that Algaba had been shot three times and that his limbs had been amputated "cleanly." These facts, in themselves, have provided investigators with some clues about who the suspect or suspects may be.

The threatening messages

It has been revealed that, about a week before the discovery of Algaba's body, he received several threatening messages.

"I’m going to kill you. I’m going to do something worse to you. I’m going to gouge out your eyes and cut off your hands so that you can’t have any more money in your life. I swear on my children that I have no problem going to jail," a man named Iglesias is reported as allegedly saying.

In other calls, Iglesias is reported to have warned Algaba that they would soon "see each other face to face." Iglesias accused Algaba of having "betrayed" him and of having "ruined" his son.

It has been alleged that Algaba was in debt to Gustavo Iglesias by about $70,000 at the time of his death. Police reportedly have one suspect in custody in connection with Albaga's death. It is unclear who it is.

In one of his final social media posts, Algaba wrote: "It’s incredible how there are such evil people in the world that while you’re thinking of helping them, they’re thinking of destroying you."
