George Conway caught bashing GOP congresswoman

George Conway, the husband of White House adviser Kellyanne Conway, has been one of Trump’s biggest critics. This has caused his wife, one of Trump’s fiercest defenders, considerable problems.

Now, George Conway has compounded his wife’s embarrassment by abusing Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) in a nasty tweet that also included a fake picture of the congresswoman, according to the Washington Examiner.

Caught red-handed

As most anti-Trumpers do these days, Mr. Conway deleted his tweet after it was found out he shared fake news. The tweet he’d shared included a photoshopped picture of Stefanik giving the camera “the finger.”

The picture was proven to be a hoax when people noticed the nail polish in the picture was a different color from what Stefanik was wearing at the hearing.

You would think that detail would have been checked by the originator of the photo, but that oversight managed to expose George Conway for what he is: an abusive creep.

More lies

George Conway also twisted the narrative about a complaint made by Stefanik, who argued that she was being silenced by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA). To make his point, George Conway showed a chart detailing everyone’s minutes, with Stefanik only being second to Minority Leader Devin Nunes (R-CA).

Notice that Mr. Conway calls her “lying trash” this time.

Of course, the criticism of Conway stretched far and wide — but one comment that stands out was a response from political commentator Brit Hume. Hume is not generally one to jump into this type of arena, but he had no problem shredding George Conway for this comment.

Stefanik also added her two cents, firing back that Conway “needs serious help.”
