President Joe Biden just held one of his strangest and worst press conferences ever.

It took place on Sunday in Hanoi, Vietnam. Biden, after the recently held G20 summit in New Delhi, India, stopped in Vietnam in an effort to strengthen the U.S.-Vietnam relationship amid looming threats in the region.

The press conference can be watched in its entirety here. But, here is a little taste of how the press conference went:

"Good evening Vietnam!"

The above video shows how Biden began the press conference, which would last a little over 25 minutes.

Biden, when he got up to the podium, began:

Good evening, everyone. It is evening, isn't it? This aroud the word in five days is interesting. Well, one of my staff members said, "Remembering the famous song, Good Morning, Vietnam?" Well, good evening, Vietnam."

As we will see, it may have been more appropriate and more accurate for Biden to say "Good Night Vietnam."

Biden proceeded by reading prepared remarks from a teleprompter. Then, he took questions - but only from a list of pre-selected reporters.

The press conference was strange, to say the least. Biden even threw in a John Wayne reference, at one point, saying:

Well, there’s a lot of lying dog-faced pony soldiers out there about global warming. But not anymore. All of a sudden, they’re all realizing it — there’s a problem. And, there’s nothing like seeing the light.

"I'm going to go to bed"

Toward the end of the press conference, Biden literally told a reporter that he is "going to go to bed."

"Tell you what, I don’t know about you, but I’m going to go to bed," a tired-looking Biden said.

He took one final question about his meetup with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Biden struggled to answer the question, using the derogatory term "third world" countries instead of "developing" countries.

Biden said:

Yeah, we talked…we talked about…we talked about it at the conference. Overall, we talked about stability. We talked about making sure that the Third World, the Third World….the Southern Hemisphere had access to change. It had access. It wasn't confrontational at all.

At this point, one of Biden's staffers abruptly ended the press conference.
