Comey Would’ve Fired Employees Who Did What He Did

Former Assistant U.S. Attorney General Andrew McCarthy took a stand against former FBI Director James Comey after Comey claimed that information leaks were not illegal according the the Inspector General’s report.

In an interview on America’s Newsroom on Thursday, McCarthy proclaimed:

“Everybody in the government knows that law enforcement information — even if it’s not classified — is sensitive information that you’re not allowed to disseminate.”

According to McCarthy, if one of Comey’s employees had done the same thing, they would’ve been fired immediately:

“[If] somebody in Comey’s agency had done what he did, he’d have terminated them in nothing flat.”

Comey purposely tried to interfere with Trump’s administration by engaging in leaks of sensitive information that pertained to the Michael Flynn investigation. It was a hit-job on Trump. Plain and simple.

Comey was actively trying to sabotage President Trump by abusing his position of authority – and whether or not the DOJ prosecutes him for it, it was unequivocally wrong.

Comey is even going so far as to demand an apology from those of us who have attacked his actions. On Twitter, he even stated:

“I don’t need a public apology from those who defamed me, but a quick message with a ‘sorry we lied about you’ would be nice.”

This tweet completely confirms how out of touch James Comey really is. This guy doesn’t deserve an apology. He deserves to be punished. And the fact that he doesn’t understand that shows just how completely delusional he is as a person.

What Comey did was wrong.

End of story.
