It has long been suspected by some that President Joe Biden, by way of the dubious foreign business dealings and alleged influence-peddling of his son Hunter, may have grown his family’s wealth with money from the Chinese communist regime.
According to House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY), that may now be definitively proven as he has gained possession of bank records and other documents that appear to directly link the Biden family with China, the Conservative Brief reported.
Biden family was receiving money from communist China
Rep. Comer shared the positive news for his ongoing investigation of the Biden family with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures,” during which he stated, “We are finally having people cooperate with us.”
“I think we all know the Biden administration is stonewalling, [Treasury Sec.] Janet Yellen is stonewalling, not turning over the bank violations. But fortunately, since we’ve last spoken, we actually have bank records in hand,” Comer said.
“We have individuals who are working with our committee,” he continued. “In the last two weeks, we’ve met with either these individuals personally or with their attorneys, and that would be four individuals who had ties in with the Biden family on their various schemes around the world.”
Comer added, “So now we have in-hand documents that show just exactly how the Biden family was getting money from the Chinese Communist Party. And, I’ll tell you, it’s as bad as we thought, Maria. It’s very concerning.”
Committee now has a “stronger case in court”
According to Fox News, Rep. Comer told Bartiromo, “And, in a way, I, I’m kind of glad that the Biden attorney, Abbe Lowell, and the Biden administration’s been stonewalling us, because when I requested that information two weeks ago versus today, because of what we have in hand now we have a lot stronger case in court for why we need these documents that the Biden family’s withholding and that the government’s withholding.”
“So they have unintentionally helped our case in our quest to get these documents to where we can give the American people the truth and the transparency that they deserve out of their leadership in Washington,” the congressman added.
Later in the segment, Bartiromo asked for more specificity on the bank records that the Oversight Committee has now received and whether they were bank records that belonged to Hunter Biden.
“These are people affiliated with the different businesses, so to speak, that the Biden family was involved in with respect to, in this instance, China,” Comer explained. “And what it appears is there were a lot of transfers from account to account to account, many transfers on the same day.”
“That’s probably one reason they received so many suspicious activity reports, which are the bank violations from the banks,” he continued. “The banks would look at this like, well, they must be laundering money or something.”
Why try to hide the source of the money?
“I don’t necessarily think they were laundering money, Maria. It looks to me like they were trying to hide the source of that money and the source was the Chinese Communist Party,” Comer added. “So my question to the Bidens, when I get that opportunity, is if you’re conducting legitimate business activities, why so many transfers? Why, why were you trying to hide the source of that money?”

It will be interesting to see if Chairman Comer’s committee, given this new revelation, is able to compel the Biden administration to quit stonewalling and hand over the many documents and bank records that were appropriately and legitimately requested some time ago.
