As you’ll recall, President Joe Biden was referred to as “Hidin’ Biden” during his 2020 campaign, as he dodged the limelight as much as possible. Apparently, not much has changed, according to a new analysis.
According to The Daily Wire, shockingly, CNN, a network typically friendly to the Biden administration, released the results of an unflattering analysis that determined Biden has traveled or been away from the White House in his first nine months more than any president in modern U.S. history.
As many will distinctly recall, former President Donald Trump was relentlessly ridiculed by the mainstream media for taking a weekend to enjoy a game of golf at one of his clubs.
CNN determined that our current president has logged an astonishing 108 days of his first 276 days in office either on vacation or “working” from his home in Delaware, or from Camp David.
It was noted that the tally also includes partial days when Biden split his time between the White House and one of the aforementioned locations.
Interestingly, the left-leaning media outlet held nothing back in its study, making it clear to its readers and viewers that Biden doesn’t seem to be interested in doing his job in the White House like his predecessors.
“A CNN analysis of Biden’s public schedule indicates the President has spent a significant amount of time away from the White House, particularly on weekends, since his January inauguration,” the report read.
It added: “While most presidents have prioritized taking time away from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, this is the most time a president has spent away from the White House on personal travel at this point in the presidency in recent history.”
To drive home the noticeable difference in Biden’s absences from the White House compared to his predecessors, The Daily Wire included such stats.
Former President Donald Trump spent only 70 full or partial days away from the White House during the same time frame of his presidency. Former President Barack Obama only spent 40 days away, and former President George W. Bush spent 84 days away.
What’s notable about Biden’s record-setting pace is that it comes during a time when America faces a host of critical issues, such as the border crisis, the inflation crisis, the supply-chain crisis, and many others, which appear to not be a top priority for the current administration.
In addition to Biden’s glaring absences at a time when America needs strong and present leadership, Vice President Kamala Harris is set to embark on a trip to Europe in the near future, and as Fox News noted, has no plans on visiting the southern U.S. border.
