Hillary Clinton has a very interesting reason as to why her husband Bill’s sexual misconduct allegations do not fall under the #MeToo umbrella. According to Clinton, “There’s a very significant difference.”
“And that is the intense, long-lasting partisan investigation that was conducted in the 90s,” she said.
Hillary stands with #MeToo
According to #MeToo activists, the heart of their movement rests in their philosophy of being all accusers — no matter what — over the accused.
But that sentiment never applied to the victims of former President Bill Clinton.
According to his wife Hillary, Justice Brett Kavanaugh needs to be held accountable for allegedly sexually assaulting multiple women.
But the allegations have yet to be corroborated.
Still, by #MeToo standards, Kavanaugh is guilty, a sentiment Hillary Clinton agreed with.
Bill Clinton remains at large
When her husband is brought up, though, Hillary Clinton tries to pitch the idea that all of his so-called “sexual misconducts” were nothing more than right-wing conspiracies.
In all, there were 14 women that came forward with allegations against Bill Clinton, including Juanita Broaddrick, who claimed the former president raped her in a hotel room while he was running for governor of Arkansas, and Christy Zercher, a flight attendant who claimed Clinton grabbed her breasts while exposing himself to her.
Other accusers were Sandra Allen James, who stated that Clinton assaulted her during a 1991 campaign trip, and even Paula Jones, who claimed Clinton exposed himself to her and asked her to “kiss it.”
Many of these accounts have been backed up by friends of the victims, who said they were told about the assaults just after they occurred.
In Broaddrick’s case, there is even physical proof some type of assault did happen.
But Hillary covered it all up — and she may have even done worse.
Many accusers of former President Clinton, including Broaddrick, have said that the former first lady actually threatened several of them.
Even after the story broke about White House intern Monica Lewinsky, and Bill finally admitted his wrongdoing, Hillary claimed that was also a right-wing conspiracy against her husband.
It’s hard to take anything the Democrats do with the #MeToo movement seriously when they do things like this.
The Dems need to clean up their own backyard before coming after others’.
