President-elect Joe Biden recently named Kristen Clarke as his nominee to the assistant attorney general position in charge of the Justice Department’s Office of Civil Rights.
There’s a rather big problem with Clarke’s nomination, however, as Fox News host Tucker Carlson revealed that while a student at Harvard University, Clarke expressed her belief that Blacks are genetically superior to whites and also supported the views of a blatantly anti-Semitic visiting professor.
Biden nominee exposed
“Kristen Clarke is Joe Biden’s pick to run the Justice Department’s enormously powerful Civil Rights Division. Clarke says her job is simple — it’s to end hate,” Carlson said on his show Monday. “But like so many in her world, Clarke is in fact an enthusiastic purveyor of what she claims to fight.”
Carlson then shared that Clarke, in 1994 while president of Harvard’s Black Studies Association, wrote a letter to the editor of the Harvard Crimson that put forward five purportedly science-based arguments explaining why Black people are superior to white people at the genetic level.
The first reason centered on the “locus coeruleus” at the core of the human brain, of which Clarke wrote, “is a structure that is black, because it contains large amounts of neuromelanin, which is essential for its operation.”
“Two: Black infants sit, crawl, and walk sooner than whites,” Clarke continued. “Three: Carol Barnes notes that human mental processes are controlled by melanin, that same chemical which gives blacks their superior physical and mental abilities.”
“Four: some scientists have revealed that most whites are unable to produce melanin, because their pineal glands are often calcified, or non-functioning,” she wrote, going on to compare the disparate rates of pineal calcification among the various races and noting that melanin “is the chemical basis for the cultural differences between blacks and whites.”
“And five: melanin endows blacks with greater mental, physical and spiritual abilities, something which cannot be measured based on Eurocentric standards,” Carlson read as he concluded quoting Clarke’s letter. “Let that sink in. ‘Melanin endows black people with greater mental, physical and spiritual abilities’ … That is a direct quote from the person Joe Biden is about to put in charge of this country’s civil rights laws.”
As if that unmitigated eugenics-based racism weren’t bad enough, that wasn’t all that Carlson exposed. The Fox host noted that during the same time period, Clarke had invited a Black Trinidadian professor with a known history of anti-Semitism, former Wellesley College professor Tony Martin, to come and speak to students at Harvard.
Carlson provided a few examples of Martin’s virulent hatred of Jews and noted that Clarke had “strongly approved” of Martin’s message and defended his views from criticism since he was “an intelligent, well-versed black intellectual who bases his information on indisputable fact.”
The Fox host concluded that “In a sane country, someone like Kristen Clarke would be under investigation by the Civil Rights Division, not running it. How crazy have we become? Well, we will see if Clarke’s nomination gets to the U.S. Senate. And if it does, we’re in serious trouble.”
