Fox’s Chris Wallace pushes White House whistleblower narrative

Fox News’ Chris Wallace propagated the now-debunked narrative that Donald Trump coerced Ukraine to give him dirt on Joe Biden.

Instead of doing his job and making it clear that the evidence has been settled, Wallace continued to feed into the narrative. Anyone pushing the coercion story is willfully ignoring the evidence.

There Is Something More

Chris Wallace knows that the story is dead, that is why he used purposely vague and evasive language.

Wallace said, “The spinning that has been done by the president’s defenders over the last 24 hours since this very damaging whistleblower complaint came out, the spinning is not surprising but it is astonishing, and I think deeply misleading.”

Wallace alleges that the evidence is merely a spin job done by the President’s defenders. He even went as far as to say the very real facts are misleading.

Clearly Wallace does not have a good relationship with facts, a trait he has in common with many in the Democrat party.

It must be remembered that before the transcript that vindicated Trump was released, Democrats opened an impeachment inquiry.

As of right now, Democrats are still talking about impeachment for a crime that never happened. Wallace is right there with them, pushing this lie.

Wrong Direction

Chris Wallace made it clear he thinks that there is some level of wrongdoing by Trump and that there is a deeper problem.

Maybe Wallace is on the right track, just going in the wrong direction. While Trump stands innocent of wrongdoing, the whistleblower who tried to expose him has an alarming connection.

According to media reports, the whistleblower is a CIA operative that was detailed to the White House. We now know that this whistleblower had no firsthand evidence and merely repeated rumors and hearsay.

If we want to get conspiratorial and read into what happened, it looks like we have the CIA trying to frame a sitting president. Obviously there is no proof and it seems unlikely, but Wallace seems to be OK with spreading unsubstantiated rumors, so we might as well consider all the possibilities. The CIA does, after all, have a shady history and is far from deserving of our trust.
