CDC director dodges question about deaths ‘from’ COVID vs. deaths ‘with’ COVID

Throughout the nearly two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, Americans were bamboozled by the fearmongers in the liberal mainstream media and at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding the number of people who died from the virus.

But the two most important distinctions that could literally change the entire narrative as we know it are the words “from” and “with.” In other words, how many people actually died from COVID-19, and how many died with COVID-19? According to The Daily Wire, our own CDC director claims she — conveniently —  can’t distinguish between the two, blaming a lack of proper “data.”

Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the CDC, was finally asked the question we’ve all been waiting to be asked for a very long time, and Fox News’ Bret Baier was the one to ask it.

“Do you know how many of the 836,000 deaths in the U.S. linked to COVID are from COVID or how many are with COVID but they had other comorbidities? Do you have that breakdown?” Baier asked a nervous-looking Walensky.

Her asinine answer

One doesn’t have to be an “expert” to logically deduce that hospitals around the country have the data that determines whether a patient died from COVID-19 or with it. But Walensky, likely instructed by her handlers not to divulge such game-changing information, came up with the best spin that she could while being put on the spot.

“Our death registry, of course, takes a few weeks to — and is a — takes a few weeks to collect, and of course, omicron has just been with us for a few weeks, but those data will be forthcoming,” Walensky said, completely dodging the meat of Baier’s question, as he was clearly referring to the entirety of the pandemic, not just the recent rise in omicron cases.

The question comes on the heels of Dr. Tony Fauci admitting last week that there’s a significant difference between dying “from” and “with” COVID-19 in pediatric cases, and the same significant difference in numbers can be logically expected in the pandemic as a whole.

“If you look at the children who are hospitalized, many of them are hospitalized with COVID as opposed to because of COVID,” Fauci said at the time, according to The Daily Wire. “And what we mean by that — if a child goes in the hospital, they automatically get tested for COVID. And they get counted as a COVID-hospitalized individual. When in fact, they may go in for a broken leg or appendicitis or something like that.”

The true impact

It can’t be stressed enough that reporters and journalists need to continue to press Walensky and other top officials on the only questions that really matters at this point, to determine just how “deadly” the virus truly was.

Dr. David Samadi made that clear, saying Americans have a right to know, and he indicated that he’s encouraged now that the question is finally being asked to the right people. Whether they tell the truth or not remains to be seen.

“The CDC will begin to provide data on how many of the 836,000 deaths in the U.S. linked to Covid are FROM Covid and how many are WITH Covid,” he said, according to The Daily Wire. “I’ve been encouraging this from day one as it would have changed the entire perspective on the response. Glad it’s finally happening,”
