President will be briefed on investigations soon, plans to release report to the public
There have been two, at least, high-profile assassination attempts against President Trump, both while he was a candidate.
In one, a bullet nicked his ear and he publicly has expressed the belief God saved him in order that he might work to save America.
That culprit was shot and killed by police. In the other, a suspect was spotted by Secret Service, chased down and arrested.
Now the president says he wants to see the investigation results into those incidents.
He is asked, "It's been seven months. Why do you think we don't know more about the guy who shot you in the year?"
"I want to find the answers," Trump responded. "They are giving me a report next week sometime. I want to release the report."
He did say there could end up being circumstances that would prevent the release of all the information, but he didn't know right now.
Trump did openly wonder why one of the suspect's had "six or seven" cell phones, suggesting that there would have been a conspiracy among bad actors in the plot.

A member of Congress has confirmed she will be referring mayors of four "sanctuary" cities across America, Boston, Chicago, Denver and New York, for criminal investigation for their policies that prioritize illegal aliens over citizens.
A report from the Hill revealed U.S. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., informed the mayors during a hearing before the House Oversight and Accountability Committee.
It's because of the sanctuary policies they practice in their cities, protecting illegal aliens, even criminal illegal aliens.
"To me after this line of questioning, it's very clear that these policies that you have all implicated are active and alive and well in your cities are in direct violation with Title 8, U.S.C. § 1324 and is a federal offense," Luna charged.
That federal law bars bringing in and harboring illegal aliens.
Her agenda is part of the Trump administration's "aggressive" approach to those locations that protect illegal aliens, the report said.
Attorney General Pam Bondi already has sued Chicago, alleging the city has obstructed the federal government from enforcing immigration laws. Additionally, Bondi issued a memo last month saying sanctuary cities will not have access to federal funding from the DOJ.
The mayors are Eric Adams, Mike Johnston, Brandon Johnson and Michelle Wu.
The mayors all are Democrats, and they claimed Congress and President Donald Trump are exaggerating crimes from the population of illegal aliens.
Adams said New York city always will "comply with city, state and federal laws.".

A major American grocery chain, Kroger, has had a customer arrested for protesting a terror symbol it allowed an employee to wear while on the job.
The report comes from the RAIR Foundation, which documented the concerns expressed by Jewish journalist Sloan Rachmuth over the threat she perceived at a Kroger subsidiary Harris Tweeter store in North Carolina, and how the corporation responded by claiming her decision to post her concerns on social media turned into a crime.
A video of Rachmuth being told by police that something she said upset someone else, so she was being arrested.
Amy Mek, of the RAIR Foundation, explained Rachmuth was "politically targeted, humiliated, and silenced for daring to object to a U.S. grocery store employee wearing an Islamic terror symbol – exposing a shocking case of corporate complicity, police overreach, and state-enforced antisemitism."
Mek reported the situation developed in Holly Springs, N.C., where Rachmuth was arrested at her home in front of her terrified children.
"Her alleged crime? According to Rachmuth, she objected to a supermarket employee at Harris Teeter wearing the controversial keffiyeh, a political symbol widely associated with Hamas and its ambitions to destroy Israel and the Jewish people worldwide. Rachmuth, an outspoken advocate against antisemitism and a contributor to national media outlets on Middle Eastern affairs, explained to RAIR Foundation in an exclusive interview that she was handcuffed, marched through her neighborhood, and charged with cyberstalking, posting about the troubling incident online," the report said.
The arrest, she said, was based on "an unverified accusation," suggesting "law enforcement's complicity," the report said.
Rachmuth first had notified the store manager of the violation of the company's corporate attire policy, then corporate headquarters.
"Indeed, Harris Teeter allowed an employee to wear a threatening symbol of Islamic and Palestinian terrorism, visibly wrapping it around her head while working with customers," Mek reported.
When Rachmuth asked the employee, identified in the report as Amira M. Fattah, about the symbol, Fattah charged, "It's for a Free Palestine," confirming "she wore the keffiyeh as a political statement rather than for religious reasons."
Rachmuth's concerns to the store manager, Sheronna Irick, prompted a scolding to, "Like it or leave."
She then contacted the store chain's headquarters and posted documentation of the encounter on X.
Then workers at the store called police.
"According to arrest records and law enforcement, store manager Sheronna Irick played a pivotal role in facilitating this retaliation," the report said.
It was Holly Springs police officers Elliott Warren, Benjamin Marino, and Edgar Hernandez who then pounded on Rachmuth's door and arrested her.
Marino told her, "Something you did made her uncomfortable, all right?"
The charges were dropped a day later by Wake County District Attorney Lorrin Freeman, a Democrat.
The report warned, "The case raises serious questions about lawfare and the use of activist law enforcement to target political dissenters."
A WND call to Kroger headquarters resulted in a statement that no response to questions about the situation was allowed.
This year has not been the best as far as airline incidents are concerned, and it seems to be worsening by the week.
That was evidenced once again recently after a FedEx plane essentially burst into flames shortly after takeoff, according to the Daily Mail. The horrifying footage of the fireball that erupted quickly went viral across social media.
The Boeing 767-300 was flying out of Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey when it reportedly struck a bird, mid-flight, with its right engine, causing the near disaster.
The plane was forced to make an emergency landing after the engine ignited, and the footage was harrowing, to say the least.
The Daily Mail described the scene as reported by eyewitnesses and flight data.
After taking off at 7:58am, the flight's right engine erupted in flames - with onlookers on the ground describing a loud boom - and the plane was forced to U-turn back to Newark for an emergency landing at 8:07am, according to flight data from FlightAware.
"Air traffic was briefly halted as a precaution, but operations have since resumed," an airport spokesperson said after the situation was contained. Luckily, nobody was seriously injured as a result of the bird strike.
A group of onlookers on the ground recorded the fireball in the engine as it happened, and were understandably shocked by the scene.
A FedEx plane struck some birds, causing the engine to catch on fire.
I wonder why Trump directed that flock of birds to target that plane.
The legacy news will surely tell me how it's Trump's fault.pic.twitter.com/gHRsA5HRa6
— Gunther Eagleman™ (@GuntherEagleman) March 1, 2025
The Daily Mail added:
The plane was in the air for an estimated nine minutes before it had to make its emergency landing, according to flight data. The Federal Aviation Administration is aware of the incident and will be investigating it further.
There have been several plane crashes and incidents in recent months, with some of them resulting in mass fatalities.
Many on social media mocked the legacy media and the left over the high likelihood that they'll somehow blame President Donald Trump and his administration for the incident.
"The legacy media will tell you those birds work for DOGE," one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "Global warming increased in the last month causing the birds to become agitated and they decided to commit suicide by jet engine. At least according to @MSNBC."
Hopefully, that's the last of the aircraft incidents for a long time to come.
Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has sent a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi to clarify if she is under investigation after border czar Tom Homan recommended an investigation into AOC for aiding illegal immigrants.
In early February, AOC's office held a ‘Know Your Rights’ webinar, offering constituents guidance on how to interact with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Of course, this description isn't remotely correct as this webinar was directed at illegal immigrants, who are not AOC's constituents.
Furthermore, the advice offered to these illegal immigrants could be categorized as advising these illegal immigrants on how to evade ICE agents who are conducting mass deportation operations.
This 'Know Your Rights' webinar was so blatantly crossing a line that it led to Border Czar Tom Homan to call on the Trump administration to open an investigation, but so far, it appears that no official investigation has been launched.
AOC has framed Homan's calls for an investigation as "political" and claimed that Homan is threatening her 1st Amendment rights as an elected official.
Apparently, AOC believes that aiding and abetting illegal immigrants with information on how to evade law enforcement is protected by the 1st Amendment. It's hard to imagine that her argument will hold up in court should the Department of Justice look into this situation.
In a press release on Friday, AOC stated, "I write to request clarity on whether the Department of Justice (DOJ) has yielded to political pressure and attempts to weaponize the agency against elected officials whose speech they disagree with. Over the past two weeks, 'Border Czar' Tom Homan has gone on multiple forums threatening political prosecution against me, citing resources I distributed informing my constituents and the American public of their constitutional and legal rights."
She went on to further claim, "Mr. Homan’s repeated attempts to use your agency to politically intimidate duly elected officials are a textbook threat to the right to free speech in the United States. Threatening criminal proceedings for exercising the First Amendment is itself a violation of the First Amendment."
Naturally, the question is what "resources" did AOC distribute to her "constituents" in this webinar. For starters, in a post to X, AOC said, "Citizen or not, we all should know our rights to protect ourselves and others from illegal search & seizure."
That post was one of many in which she grouped both citizens and non-citizens together, making it clear that she's not just informing her constituents of their rights but is intentionally teaching illegal immigrants how to evade deportation.
The ball is in the Trump administration's court now, with Attorney General Bondi holding the power to press forward with an investigation that would send a message to radical Democrats about aiding illegal immigrants.
For too long, Democrat politicians from the local, state, and national levels have gotten away with ignoring immigration law, with entire Democrat cities and even states actively working against immigration enforcement to protect illegal immigrants.
So far, there has been no announcement from the DOJ on this situation, but that indicates that the DOJ is keeping quiet while putting together the facts of the case before making an official decision.
This will be an important story to keep an eye on as President Donald Trump has sworn to be tougher than ever on illegal immigration and that force must be applied to those Americans who protect these illegal immigrants from being lawfully deported.
The FBI has returned boxes of personal property seized in their raid of President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence, The Hill reported. In August 2022, the agency took 33 boxes from the home ostensibly to recover mishandled classified documents.
"The FBI is giving the President his property back that was taken during the unlawful and illegal raids. We are taking possession of the boxes today and loading them onto Air Force One," Steven Cheung, White House communications director, said in a statement Friday.
Trump's counselor, Alina Habba, posted to X, formerly Twitter, that she witnessed the return of his boxes. "I just personally loaded the infamous 'boxes' back onto Air Force 1 to head home where they belong. Justice has been and will continue to be restored in this country under President Trump. TRUTH AND JUSTICE ALWAYS WIN IN THE END. God Bless America."
I just personally loaded the infamous “boxes” back onto Air Force 1 to head home where they belong. Justice has been and will continue to be restored in this country under President Trump. TRUTH AND JUSTICE ALWAYS WIN IN THE END. God Bless America 🇺🇸
— Alina Habba (@AlinaHabba) February 28, 2025
Habba noted that the FBI's raid on Trump was unnecessarily intrusive. Agents rummaged through closets belonging to wife, Melania Trump, and son, Barron Trump, and took things like newspaper clippings and photos that had nothing to do with the investigation.
Moreover, the premise of the government's argument that justified the raid didn't hold up under judicial scrutiny. Last July, U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon effectively dismissed Trump's case by ruling that special counsel Jack Smith's appointment to investigate Trump was unconstitutional.
Now, after years of lawfare being waged against him, Friday's move was a win that took Donald Trump one step closer to restitution. "They [boxes] are being brought down to Florida and will someday be part of the Trump Presidential Library," Donald Trump said on his Truth Social Friday.
"Justice finally won out. I did absolutely nothing wrong," the president added.
"This was merely an attack on a political opponent that, obviously, did not work well. Justice in our Country will now be restored," Donald Trump concluded.
The effort to take Donald Trump out began with his first presidential run in 2016 when the Russia collusion hoax began. According to the Associated Press, that charge was leveled on a faulty premise that allowed the government to spy on his campaign before it ultimately fell apart.
Still, the charge hung over him during his first term and was routinely a line of attack. By the time he left the White House in 2021, Donald Trump was impeached twice and called an "insurrectionist" over his alleged involvement in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol.
Then, as Donald Trump announced he would once again seek the presidency in 2022, his enemies were at it all over again again. In all, Donald Trump faced four separate criminal cases while building up his campaign.
As each case would crumble one by one, Trump promised he would be vindicated in the end. Now, he finally got that chance as the FBI turned his things back over to him after its case fell apart.
Donald Trump will never get back the time and money he wasted defending himself against all of these attacks. However, he has prevailed against everything they could possibly throw at him, and now he will get at least a portion of the long-overdue restitution.
It's taken 2.5 years, but the FBI is finally getting around to doing what is right.
The Hill is reporting that America's Federal Bureau of Investigation is returning the property seized during the 2022 raid of Mar-a-Lago to President Trump, according to the White House.
"The FBI is giving the President his property back that was taken during the unlawful and illegal raids. We are taking possession of the boxes today and loading them onto Air Force One," White House communications director Steven Cheung announced in a statement on February 28.
Donald Trump didn't see the raid coming, and it clearly upset him when it happened. Trump lashed out at law enforcement, accusing them of committing "political persecution."
"My beautiful home Mar A Lago in Palm Beach, Florida is currently under siege, raided and occupied by a large group of FBI agents," Trump said in a statement shortly after the raids. His public message also included a link for donations to his political action committee.
"After working and cooperating with the relevant government agencies, this unannounced raid at my home was not necessary or appropriate."
The raid was part of an investigation into the attacks on America's Capitol on January 6, 2021 and Donald Trump's actions to overturn the 2020 election results in an attempt to remain in power.
While it's impossible to know everything that went on during the raid, Trump said that law enforcement officials "even broke into my safe."
The raid came after "the National Archives reportedly asked the Justice Department to investigate after authorities recovered 15 boxes of materials from Trump’s Florida home that should have been left with government records keepers. Among the retrieved materials were some that were classified," according to The Hill.
It took a little bit longer than Trump would have liked, but America's justice system ultimately prevailed. After over two long years, the boxes of belongings that were taken from Trump were finally returned.
Alina Habba, the president's counselor, said that she personally loaded some of the infamous boxes onto Air Force One.
"Justice has been and will continue to be restored in this country under President Trump. TRUTH AND JUSTICE ALWAYS WIN IN THE END. God Bless America," Habba said in a post on social media.
In total, the FBI had taken 33 boxes worth of Donald Trump's possessions.
The raid prompted heavy criticism of America's FBI by Donald Trump, and may be one of the reasons Trump is so eager to clean out unnecessary federal employees since taking back the White House.
Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard revealed an interesting and disgusting discovery she and her team made as she works to overhaul the intelligence agencies she oversees.
According to Fox News, Gabbard revealed that the Biden administration was aware of "very sexually explicit, highly inappropriate and unprofessional chatter" across agency message boards, and obviously did nothing about it.
The inappropriate messaging apparently went on for "years" according to Gabbard, calling into question why the Biden administration allowed such disgusting behavior within the U.S. intelligence community.
Gabbard said several whistleblowers had come forward during the Biden presidency to call out the issue, but it was reportedly never addressed.
Gabbard, in an interview with Fox News Digital, explained what she had come across and what she found out.
"I've had whistleblowers come forward just in the last few days who work in the [National Security Agency] and who said, ‘Hey, we saw this, and we reported it through official channels under the Biden administration,’" Gabbard told the outlet.
Gabbard added, "And essentially they were told this is no issue, step aside."
Fox News noted:
It all comes back to "the Biden administration's obsession with" diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), according to the new Director of National Intelligence (DNI). The chatrooms "were set up because of DEI policies," she said.
Trump's DNI -- a former lawmaker -- said the chat rooms "were shut down immediately after President Trump issued his executive order shutting down the DEI across the federal government."
Not only were the chat room shut down right away, she also ordered the termination of many of those involved in the inappropriate chatting, which she said totaled over 100 people.
Gabbard explained that the people involved in the disgusting chats "violated the trust that the American people placed in them to work in these highly sensitive jobs that are directly related to national security."
Gabbard fully supports the Trump administration's efforts to save taxpayers as much money as possible, and she noted that getting rid of DEI initiatives in the intelligence agencies has already saved taxpayers millions.
"Getting rid of the DEI center that was stood up under the Biden administration, we immediately saved taxpayers almost $20 million," she told Fox News Digital.
Thank goodness Trump picked people who aren't afraid to make the calls that need to be made to get America back on track.
Elon Musk is certainly no stranger to receiving death threats as he's one of the most well-known and successful people on planet Earth. Crazies are around every corner.
Luckily, a particular crazy person from Indiana wasn't able to follow through on threats he made against Musk, as, according to Breitbart, he threatened to "gut" the DOGE head.
David Cherry, 28, was arrested by Indiana State Police earlier this week after he was charged with making death threats against Musk on social media.
Law enforcement officials in Texas alerted the Indiana State Police to Cherry's online death threats, according to police reports.
Cherry, a man obviously stricken with severe Trump Derangement Syndrome, made several shocking and disgusting posts revealing his thoughts on killing Musk.
"In an affidavit filed Thursday in Harrison County, Indiana Superior Court, investigators identified several posts made on social media platform X under the username @effective_pawn,” the report stated.
JUST IN: Indiana man arrested for allegedly threatening to kill Elon Musk in a series of posts on X - formerly known as Twitter.
David A. Cherry, 28, is now charged with felony intimidation in connection to the alleged social media death threats.https://t.co/b3Qw193PB6
— FOX59 News (@FOX59) February 18, 2025
The posts were specific and disturbing, to say the least. One was a direct threat to "plant a bomb" in Musk's residence.
"You’re robbing the American people. We will gut you and parade your corpse through the streets,” while another one of Cherry's posts stated, "I am going to plant a bomb in Elon Musk’s house."
Breitbart noted:
The Indiana officers were able to ping a cellphone to locate Cherry, who they found working at a Batteries Plus in Clarksville, Indiana. He was taken into custody at the location, and later told police he posted the statements to be “edgy” and get attention.
Users across social media reacted to the news of Cherry's arrest.
"If Trump and Elon is driving you batty. That's not their fault, it's yours. YOU have control over your thoughts. You can choose to consume media that whips you up and makes you miserable or you can choose to focus on things that have more meaning," one X user pointed out.
Another X user wrote, "It is time for more arrests and prosecution of people doing this. It is not a free speech issue."
While it probably won't be the last threat on Musk's life, at least this lunatic was caught.

Listening to establishment media, one might think President Trump's new administration has done a poor job of keeping air travelers safe in America.
Within the last month, media outlets have reported extensively on four aviation crashes and mishaps, most prominently the midair collision in Washington, D.C., that killed 67 on Jan. 29.
Last week, a plane landing in Toronto ignited and flipped over on landing. The 80 people onboard survived the crash.
But despite these incidents, the numbers show that air travel continues to be one of the safest modes of transportation.
"The data doesn't indicate a rise in serious accidents," aviation expert and professor Chad Kendall told 9news.com. "When we have two high profile accidents like this back-to-back, certainly it could show that it is, but statistically it is not."
Kendall continued: "When we have accidents like this, we go through a process and we determine what happened and then we make changes. Whether that's changes to training, technology, procedures, or communication. There's nothing off the table when it comes to safety and making travel safer."
Recent statistics from the National Transportation Safety Board, or NTSB, show there may have been a record low number of airplane accidents nationwide in January. If the currently reported numbers stay the same, there were 63 fatal or non-fatal crashes last month, compared to 80 in January 2024 and 89 in 2023.
That's the lowest number of crashes in a single month since 1982, according to data on the NTSB website. Overall, their data shows a trend of crashes declining over the years.
Last week, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy reiterated the overall safety of aviation, telling CBS News: "If you get in a plane, if you look at how many people fly, how many flights we have, of course it's a safe space."
Duffy remarked that there isn't a pattern behind the recent incidents, calling them each "very unique."
