Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has fired two top intelligence officials for undermining President Trump.
Gabbard fired Mike Collins, who was serving as the acting chair of the National Intelligence Council, and his deputy, Maria Langan-Riekhof, Tuesday, senior intelligence. The purge was first reported by Fox News, which noted that both officials have faced whistleblower complaints.
The firings are in keeping with the tight discipline that has characterized Trump's historic comeback.
During his first term, Trump was subverted by bad actors within the intelligence community who sought to nullify his unexpected election victory with a bogus investigation into "Russian collusion."
As Trump fought for re-election in 2020, dozens of former intelligence agents publicly speculated, with zero evidence, that Hunter Biden's laptop was "Russian disinformation."
According to Fox News, Collins has ties to Michael Morrell, the former CIA deputy director who coordinated the notorious "Russian disinformation" letter.
Whistleblowers have accused Collins of "deliberately undermining the incoming Trump administration," while Langan-Riekhof has faced similar complaints of being "radically opposed to Trump" and advancing the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) agenda, which Trump has worked to root out.
A longtime critic of political malfeasance by the "Deep State," Gabbard has taken a series of actions in her new intelligence role to restore accountability.
She has recommended the Justice Department prosecute "Deep State criminals" behind recent classified intelligence leaks to the New York Times and Washington Post.
The leaked information included a National Intelligence Council assessment that Venezuela is not directing Tren de Aragua to invade the United States, a conclusion that undercuts President Trump's use of the Alien Enemies Act to swiftly deport suspected gang members.
The FBI partly dissented from the intelligence assessment, finding the Maduro regime is using Tren de Aragua as a proxy.
The ODNI fired two officials in early May for leaking information about a Tren de Aragua intelligence assessment to the New York Times, Fox News Digital reported.
Meanwhile, Gabbard is moving the National Intelligence Council from the CIA to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), which Gabbard oversees, to prevent the "politicization of intelligence" by Deep State bureaucrats.
"It takes time to weed them out and fire them," one official told Fox News Digital, adding that "plans to eliminate non-essential offices within ODNI that we know are housing deep state leakers are underway."

A black woman who "styles herself an author" has posted a social media video of her shocking rant against whites from South Africa who have been targeted for death in their own country and have been declared refugees to the United States.
"I just want to make you aware that the black people who were students during apartheid, we're grandmas and grandpas now… and we have the [air] of Gen Z, OK?" the woman states. "One more thing, I also want to let you know that our president, he has Secret Service – and you will not."
In America, she said, "black people over here are empowered."
And when they arrive they are to sit down, "don't touch nothing" and to "have the day you deserve."
The rant was posted by Diva Moore, who is described as a career coach.
The administration of President Donald Trump has fast-tracked the status of 59 Afrikaners, whites from South Africa, as refugees because their land was seized by their government without compensation.
The anti-white violence there is the result of a revolution against the minority white rule, which had existed for generations.
As a result, blacks now in charge, have decided to simply take the land belonging to whites and hand it out to blacks.
Part of the race war there now is extreme violence against whites, up to and including murder.
The Daily Mail pointed out that Moore is linked to her coaching business, where she boasts she is a "luminary in the realm of human relations" and is "the epitome of wisdom and proficiency."
The report described her comments as a "chilling threat."
It came just days after the Episcopal church in America announced it was refusing to help the white Afrikaners under a federally funded program to help migrants, through which it has accepted millions of taxpayer dollars for years.
The church said it was because the refugees are white.
Trump has explained that South Africa is running a genocide against whites, and they are being classified as refugees because they "are being killed."
On Monday, upon welcoming nearly five dozen Afrikaners to America, U.S. State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce indicated: "Today, the United States sends a clear message, in alignment with the administration's America First foreign policy agenda, that America will take action to protect victims of racial discrimination. We stand with these refugees as they build a better future for themselves and their children in the United States.
"No one should have to fear having their property seized without compensation or becoming the victim of violent attacks because of their ethnicity. In the coming months, we will continue to welcome more Afrikaner refugees and help them rebuild their lives in our great country."

Similar to significant spikes in military recruitment since President Donald Trump began his second term, applications to join the U.S. Secret Service are up roughly 214% compared to the first few months of 2024.
According to a report by Fox News Digital, the stats come from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
The number of submitted applications from Jan. 20 to May 1 of last year was approximately 7,000 compared to 22,000 applicants in 2025.
In the wake of the first assassination attempt on Trump, July 13, 2024, which included several Secret Service failures, media reported on shortages of staff at the agency as well as moral issues among agents.
"For four long years, the previous administration demoralized and denied resources to our brave men and women in law enforcement, including in the Secret Service," a DHS spokesperson told Fox News Digital.
"Our country suffered the consequences of that disastrous approach. President Trump himself nearly lost his life because of it. Now, after reforming the Secret Service and providing it with the resources it needs to do its job, we are seeing a historic surge in applications. Americans naturally want to protect and serve. We simply have to let them."
According to the Fox report, the Secret Service has a total of 8,210 employees and law enforcement officers, including 3,904 special agents, 1,560 in the uniformed division, 265 technical law enforcement personnel, and 2,481 administrative, professional, and technical staff.
"I think the reality is that the Secret Service is returning to the core mission and the standards that made it great and that inspires a lot of really good people to want to be part of it," former Secret Service agent Tim Miller told Fox News Digital. "I think now under the new director, they are trying to get back to having highly qualified people that are very mission-focused."
Continued Miller: "I know when I got hired, I had been a U.S. Marine Corps officer and a police officer, it was a high standard to get hired. I think many now want to be one of the best of the best, and the Secret Service is trying to get back to that gold standard."

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has fired the top officials leading the National Intelligence Council and has moved the agency to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, or ODNI.
According to a report by Fox News Digital, whistleblowers have described some members of the Council as "radically opposed" to President Trump.
Gabbard fired Mike Collins, who was serving as the acting chair of the National Intelligence Council, and his deputy, Maria Langan-Riekhof, on Tuesday, senior intelligence officials told Fox News Digital.
Collins has elicited whistleblower complaints against him for political bias and "deliberately undermining the incoming Trump administration," officials told Fox. They added that Collins was closely associated with Michael Morrell, the former deputy director of the CIA who worked to write a public letter in 2020 claiming that Hunter Biden's laptop had "all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation," and to get signatures from top ex-intelligence officials.
The report notes that Langan-Reikhof has been a "key advocate" for diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, which contravene Trump policies.
Gabbard is moving the National Intelligence Council from the CIA to her office to "directly hold accountable any improper action and politicization of intelligence," Fox News Digital reported.
Many intel community leakers are "career bureaucrats that are entrenched in Washington politics," officials said.
"It takes time to weed them out and fire them," one official told Fox News, adding that "plans to eliminate non-essential offices within ODNI that we know are housing deep state leakers are underway."
The moves come as Gabbard has taken steps to root out leakers and alleged "deep state holdovers" who officials say are politicizing intelligence analysis and "trying to sabotage President Trump's agenda."

The economic earthquake that is known as President Donald Trump on Monday hit the pharmaceutical industry worldwide, and the end result will be that Americans soon will be paying the same for drugs as the best deal being offered to any customers worldwide.
No longer will Americans be paying four, five or even 10 times the price for the same drug that others around the world pay, he said.
It's coming through an executive order and Trump plans for Congress to put it into the law.
It essentially will look at the best price paid for a drug by any customers around the world, and will make that same drug available at that same price to Americans.
For decades, Americans actually have been paying for literally all of the development, research and other costs of drugs.
Trump cited a friend who had pointed out that his treatment was costing him $88 while he was in London. But in New York, the same prescription cost him $1,300.
"We've been subsidizing countries around the world," Trump said. He said the drug pricing now will have "fairness" for Americans.
He said some drug prices would be dropping almost immediately. At the close of an hour-long news conference, Trump signed the order.
The fairness comes after the Joe Biden administration left Americans paying some 70% higher prescription costs than they were paying in 2000.
Pharmaceutical companies have been getting two-thirds of their profits from Americans, which make up 4% of the world's population.
Those companies should have no great loss, as the prices that are reduced for Americans will be made up by slightly higher prices for others around the globe.
"Basically what we're doing is equalizing … we're all going to pay the same," Trump said. "Whoever is paying the lowest price, that's the price we're going to get."
He continued, "Democrats could have done this a long time ago. They have fought like hell for the drug companies."
Trump noted he'd begun addressing drug prices during his first term.
"Joe Biden without any knowledge of what he was doing terminated the policy. Then he negotiated a new system… five of the drugs he negotiated now are much more expensive than when he got involved."
HHS chief Robert F. Kennedy Jr. pointed out this was a goal he's held for years.
"This is an extraordinary day," he said. "This was an issue people talked about … but wouldn't do anything."
He said the topic was "radioactive," as there are many more pharmaceutical industry lobbyists in Washington than members of Congress.
He called Trump a "man of his word,"
"There has never been a president more willing to stand up to the oligarchs than Donald Trump."
Mehmet Oz, administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, said, "This is the most powerful executive order on pharmaceutical prices in our nation. It only happened because we have a president still to stand up…"
At that time, he said, on social media, "For many years the World has wondered why Prescription Drugs and Pharmaceuticals in the United States States of America were SO MUCH HIGHER IN PRICE THAN THEY WERE IN ANY OTHER NATION, SOMETIMES BEING FIVE TO TEN TIMES MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE SAME DRUG, MANUFACTURED IN THE EXACT SAME LABORATORY OR PLANT, BY THE SAME COMPANY???" Trump began, having made people wait nearly four hours for his post.
"It was always difficult to explain and very embarrassing because, in fact, there was no correct or rightful answer. The Pharmaceutical/Drug Companies would say, for years, that it was Research and Development Costs, and that all of these costs were, and would be, for no reason whatsoever, borne by the 'suckers' of America, ALONE.

A fight to protect children in Florida from an "obscene LGBTQ performance" in a public location that is only feet away from a children's playground is ramping up.
Liberty Counsel earlier filed a friend-of-the-court brief in the case Naples Pride V. City of Naples, in which the LGBT organization demanded the right to impose its ideology on children in a public park.
Now Liberty Counsel says the city has neglected to raise a legitimate defense to the attack by the LGBT organization, and it wants to join the case.
It is representing concerned Collier County parents against the planned "sexually explicit drag show" at the children's play area.
The legal team has addressed the court, explaining the city did not raise the defense that Florida's "Protection of Children Act" of 2023 expressly outlaws public drag shows held in view of minors. "Allowing a drag performance in open air and in full view of a busy children's playground would violate Florida law," Liberty Counsel reported.
A federal judge narrowly blocked that law for a single Florida agency, but that's under appeal and does not erase the law itself.
"The state of Florida recognizes that children – and their parents, by extension – have a legally protectible interest in the material they are exposed to as well as having safe parks and playgrounds," the legal team explained.
Naples Pride calls its drag show "family friendly," but photographic evidence of similar events confirm that the show involves "male performers in obscene drag performing lewd poses and simulating sexual acts that are unsuitable for minors. The drag performers also invited children to place money in their waist bands like strippers in a bar as the men shook their over-stuffed brazier tops and 'twerked' their fish net covered hind ends mimicking sexual activities no child should ever see."
Liberty Counsel said, "The scenes are revolting and totally inappropriate for children."
"The city of Naples has demonstrated an aversion to broaching the issue of obscenity, lewdness, or harm to minors posed by the proposed drag performance in view of children altogether," wrote Liberty Counsel. "For some inexplicable reason, the city has refused to even suggest, much less forcefully defend itself on the constitutional grounds that [Naples Pride's] grossly inappropriate sexualized performances are only afforded limited (if any) protection under the First Amendment, and whatever protection may exist is eviscerated when considered in the context of exposure to children."
Even though it filed a brief in the case earlier, Liberty Counsel now is seeking to be granted "party status" in the fight.
The city council earlier ordered that the event be held indoors and away from children, but the LGBT crowd demanded that it be allowed to put on its display near the children's park.
The city previously argued the park is subject to location and age restrictions for events.
Liberty Counsel chief Mat Staver explained, "Liberty Counsel is intervening in this case to give parents who wish to protect their children from obscene drag performances a fuller defense on the legal and constitutional issues left unspoken by the city of Naples. The First Amendment does not protect an obscene drag performance in full view of a children's playground, and Florida law outright bans it. Restricting speech for children that is otherwise protected for adults passes constitutional muster in the interest of protecting their well-being. Citizens do not have to tolerate obscene drag shows in view of their children."
A woman spat on acting U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Ed Martin during a live TV appearance Thursday, the Daily Caller reported. Martin was speaking to Newsmax after President Donald Trump withdrew his nomination for top federal prosecutor for Washington, D.C.
Despite having no experience as a judge or attorney, Trump tapped him for his loyalty in firing prosecutors who went after defendants from the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot. However, Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) threatened to vote against his nomination for precisely those reasons.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) realized this would hold up Martin's nomination, which would not proceed out of the Senate Judiciary Committee. With Martin out, Trump tapped Jeanine Pirro, former District Attorney of Westchester County and Fox News host, instead.
For his part, Martin was moved to associate deputy attorney general and pardon attorney while also running the Justice Department’s Weaponization Working Group. That didn't stop a crazed woman from taking aim at Martin after the news already broke.
Martin was giving a live interview to Newsmax about the changes when he was approached on the street by a woman walking a dog. "Who the f— are you?" she yelled.
"You are Ed Martin," she said, realizing who the official was. She then walked right up to and spat at an unsuspecting Martin.
"You are a disgusting man," the unnamed assailant claimed, despite being the one to hurl spittle at him. The clip was shared to X, formerly Twitter, by Rob Schmitt.
"This afternoon acting DC US Atty Ed Martin was spit on by a psychotic lib during our interview. Hope she’s ready for a nice stretch in jail," Schmitt captioned the footage.

This woman's attack was brazen and caught on video. It didn't take long for her to be identified and on her way to getting punished for such action against a government official.
The story was shared to X by conservative commentator Benny Johnson on Friday. "BREAKING NEWS: Trump's Associate Deputy Attorney General Ed Martin just confirmed to me that the feral leftist woman who spit on him LIVE during a Newsmax interview is being ARRESTED: 'Yes, we got her,'" Johnson's caption claimed.
"She has been identified by U.S. Marshals, arrested and will be charged under 18 U.S. Code § 111. She is facing 20 years in federal prison for knowingly assaulting a federal official and potentially millions in legal fines. This is JUSTICE in action," Johnson added.

The left is out of control in their hatred for Republicans and especially anyone associated with Trump. If they truly found the identity of this woman who allegedly spat at Martin, she will face prison time and more.
The Illinois family of a stabbing victim is speaking out against Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem after she used the killing to highlight the impact of illegal immigration.
At a press conference near the site of the murder, Noem railed against "sanctuary" policies in Democratic jurisdictions like Illinois, which limits cooperation between police and federal immigration agents. Noem was joined by several "Angel families" whose loved ones were killed by immigrants or fentanyl that flowed across the Mexican border.
But the family of Emma Shafer was not there. They showed up, instead, to a protest close by.
A statement from the family accused Noem of peddling a "cruel and heartless political agenda" that their daughter would have opposed.
The statement was shared by far-left Illinois governor J.B. Pritzker (D), whose office said Shafer's family wanted him to promote the statement.
Shafer, a 24-year-old community organizer, was stabbed to death at her Springfield apartment in July 2023. Her suspected killer, an illegal immigrant named Gabriel Calixto, has never been caught.
"Noem's words are in direct conflict with who Emma was as a person. Emma built up community and stood with all members, including immigrants," Cathy Schwartz and John Shafer said in a statement.
"No parent should have to experience the loss of a child. But every time her name is brought into these conversations — conversations she would have wanted nothing to do with — we have to relive the pain of her death."
Since President Trump returned to the White House, border crossings have fallen sharply, and the administration has expeditiously deported alleged gang members, sparking furious backlash from Democrats, the media, and some judges over alleged violations of due process.
Pritzker has doubled down on his state's sanctuary policy as he auditions for the presidency with a series of broadsides against Trump. In a statement, Pritzker called for "sensible, humane immigration reform" and urged Noem to "spend less time performing for Fox News and more time protecting the Homeland."
But Trump's tough approach to immigration remains popular. A series of high-profile murders of American women and girls by illegal aliens turned public opinion sharply against the liberal agenda of the Democratic party during the administration of Joe Biden, who oversaw a historic, uncontrolled influx of people coming across the southern border illegally.
Some "Angel moms," including the mothers of Rachel Morin and Jocelyn Nungaray, have built close relationships with Trump, who is famously known for his personal touch.
"Secretary Noem went to Illinois to join Angel families to call for an end to dangerous sanctuary city policies under JB Pritzker and bring attention to an at-large illegal alien murderer who has been evading justice for two years," assistant secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Axios in a statement.

Joe Biden's White House administration by now is famed for its weaponization of the federal government.
President Donald Trump has documents from his presidency? Send a SWAT team.
A father objects to an abortion business and the violence associated with it? Send a SWAT team.
Use the grand jury and court systems to assembled long lists of charges and criminal counts against Biden critics, sometimes without evidence at all.
Claim fraud when the "victims" say there wasn't any.
And more.
Now a report at Just the News reveals that Biden even wanted Americans spied on, monitoring, and investigated for "non-criminal behavior."
Of course, the requirement was that such "non-criminal behavior" actually was "concerning" to someone in the government.
Specifically a now-declassified document states Biden's goal was to, "Enhance public understanding of the role of Federal law enforcement in responding to incidents of concerning non-criminal behavior, as well the role of mental health professionals and resources in crisis response, including through public messaging and engagement."
The Department of Justice and FBI were to be the "lead" on the project to look out for that "non-criminal behavior."
The report explained the goal was to be "fighting domestic terrorism."
To that end, the feds were watching anyone in the military, anyone with a firearm, anyone with "xenophobic' information.
Biden's demand for eyes on vast numbers of Americans was revealed when Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released the Biden "Strategic Implementation Plan for Countering Domestic Terrorism."
From 2021, it outlined the agenda that the FBI would use later to monitor and probe conservative Catholics, parents who objected to leftist ideologies in their local schools, and to justify censorship and debanking of a long list of conservatives and organizations.
All under the guise of their being "potential enemies," the report said.
The standards came from the National Security Council and were dispatched to the DOJ and FBI, which later weaponized a long list of government responsibilities to attack conservatives.
The report explained that FBI agents had been required before to have met the required "predicate" goals for opening criminal and national security investigations.
Those factors would include "an articulable factual basis" that "reasonably indicates" a crime or national security threat has or is about to occur, the report explained.
Biden's let that standard plunge, to a level of "concern."
The verbiage created by Biden's administration, in fact, was "merely a broad brush to start spying on Americans," explained Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., of the House Judiciary Committee.
He told Just the News, "It doesn't have to be criminal, for sure. But it doesn't have to be heterodox. It just has to be something that some agent, or some local agent, says, 'Oh, we got a beef about this. We're going to check it out.'"
He described Biden's move as a clear violation of the 4th Amendment.
"It's spying on Americans," he said.
Previously reporting confirmed that the FBI was alerted at the time for symbols from the American Revolution, such as the Gadsden Flag and such. The report noted the goals outlined in the document overlapped existing Democrat party ideologies, including gun control, promoting "hate crimes" beliefs and such.
It also focused on so-called "disinformation," which during the Biden administration was whatever disagreed with his party's leftism.
Just the News reported, "Several FBI whistleblowers said that the strategies originally designed to target genuine extremists were instead turned against pro-life protestors, parents vocalizing concerns about their children's school curriculum at school board meetings, and those expressing traditional Catholic viewpoints."

Prominent Trump attacker Letitia James now is under investigation by the FBI.
She campaigned for the office of attorney general in New York on the claim she would "get" Trump. In office, she assembled a long list of cases and claims that she brought to court against him.
Leading the way was her wild claim that Trump committed fraud because of the way he valued his companies while taking out and repaying loans.
In fact, in court, those from whom he borrowed money confirmed the loans were repaid in full and on time, and they'd like to do more business with Trump.
However, the case was presented only to a leftist judge, not a jury, and he ended up with the extreme claim that Trump owed a penalty of nearly half a billion dollars, a claim that is now on appeal.
Perhaps it's ironic that now James is facing claims of fraud.
Over her own properties.
A report in the Times Union said U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has directed the investigation be handled by the Northern District of New York in Albany.
It is James' real estate transactions that appear to have been manipulated, the report said.
Among the claims is that she is listed as the spouse of her own father on one mortgage document. And there's concern she listed a home as her primary residence when it was out of state and could not be. Further, she apparently listed one of the apartment buildings she owns as having four units, instead of the five it is documented to have.
All of the machinations appear to have been in pursuit of better interest rates on home loans.
The report said, "One of the mortgage documents filed in connection with James' purchase of the single-family residence — a notarized power-of-attorney document — was signed as a witness by Jennifer Levy, who is the first deputy attorney general. A spokesman for James did not immediately respond to a question about why Levy would have been asked to sign a document related to the attorney general's purchase of a private residence."
"This is being handled at this time by main (Department of) Justice and the Albany FBI field office," said U.S. Attorney John A. Sarcone III, who oversees the U.S. Attorney's Office in New York's Northern District. "We stand prepared to act in the capacity that we need to when and if we are informed there's a charge to be made. Unlike Letitia James, who unethically ran around the state campaigning on getting Donald Trump… my office conducts itself in a manner that is proper and professional."
James has claimed the evidence against her is "baseless." And she's hired a prominent criminal defense lawyer for her case, which likely will be funded by the taxpayers of the state. That's because Democrats in New York have added a $10 million fund to the state budget for James or others to pay legal fees.
It was William J. Pulte, chief of the U.S. Federal Housing Finance Agency, who sent a referral letter last month to Bondi alleging that James may have ""falsified bank documents and property records to acquire government backed assistance and loans and more favorable loan terms."
A report at the Gateway Pundit, which long has documented suspicious behavior by James, said one of the key disputes is that James claimed her five-unit apartment building was only four units "in order to get a more favorable loan."
The report explained, "This is not a minor discrepancy. Lying to the bank about the unit count enabled Letitia James to secure more favorable loans, including a 2011 Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP) loan that saved her tens of thousands of dollars annually. Letitia James was able to secure a conforming loan through Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac since they are only available on properties up to 4 units."
"This is a person who prosecuted Trump for everything short of ripping a label off a mattress, and among the charges that were brought in New York, in just the civil but the criminal case, was making false or misleading statements to financial institutions," constitutional expert Jonathan Turley said on Fox News. "As for James, if we apply the Letitia James standard that she created, there'd be little question here. This seems pretty straightforward."
Another document evidences that James claimed she was the spouse of her father, in "falsified loan documents back in 1983," the report said.
The publication, in a further special report by Joel Gilbert, explained his own "review of public records and court filings" documented a "range of troubling issues that could pose serious legal and ethical consequences" for James.
"One of the most striking revelations emerges from a 1983 real estate transaction in which Letitia James and her father, Robert James, obtained a mortgage as 'husband and wife,'" he wrote.
"The loan application to Kadilac Funding Corporation listed them as a married couple, despite the fact that Letitia is his daughter. Such a misrepresentation of a relationship to qualify for a loan could constitute mortgage fraud under both federal and New York State law," the report said.
The penalty for that could be up to 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
By claiming her building had four units, not five, she was able to apply for and obtain a 2.7% rate loan, paying off a loan at 10%, the report said.
The report said she also claimed financial hardship to obtain the loan, despite her income being around $14,000 a month.
"These discrepancies could trigger legal liability for James under the False Claims Act, which allows the federal government to impose treble damages and fines for false statements made in order to obtain government funds," the report said.
Other claims could include campaign finance violations and misrepresentations.
