Newly declassified documents about the supposed FBI "investigation" into Hillary Clinton's email scandal, which developed while she was running her second failed campaign for the Oval Office, reveal that the FBI declined to follow even the most basic procedures, like "due diligence."
Clinton's email scandal involved her decision to set up a private email server in her home and then run national secrets through the unsecured machine. Then-FBI head James Comey abruptly announced during the campaign that the investigation was being shut down.
Now released are details from a previously classified appendix to DOJ inspector General Michale Horowitz's 2018 report criticizing the FBI's conduct.
It was just days after Comey's announcement about Clinton came that the FBI launched its probe, now documented as based on fraud, into now-President Donald Trump and his campaign, an investigation called Crossfire Hurricane.
"This document shows an extreme lack of effort and due diligence in the FBI's investigation of former Secretary Clinton's email usage and mishandling of highly classified information," Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, said as the appendix was released.
"Under Comey's leadership, the FBI failed to perform fundamental investigative work and left key pieces of evidence on the cutting room floor. The Comey FBI's negligent approach and perhaps intentional lack of effort in the Clinton investigation is a stark contrast to its full-throated investigation of the Trump-Russia collusion hoax, which was based on the uncorroborated and now discredited Steele dossier. Comey's decision-making process smacks of political infection," he said.
A report at Just the News said Comey was "swayed" to preemptively announce the end of the Clinton investigation, "and that the FBI failed to investigate thumbdrives containing potentially key information about use of an illicit private email server."
Grassley confirmed in 2016 the FBI had "intelligence reports discussing purported communications" involving Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a Florida Democrat who led the Democratic National Convention and others who worked for the Sorors Open Society Foundations.
Grassley suggested the intelligence reports alleged "the Obama administration took efforts to scuttle the investigation into Clinton and protect her candidacy" and there were no "serious" investigative efforts under the leadership of Comey, then-FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, an FBI agent later removed, and others.
The declassified documents confirm the FBI got various reports "purporting to discuss efforts to influence" that investigation.
The accusations included that Barack Obama's attorney general, Loretta Lynch and Comey were interfering with the investigation.
In the new documents, it shows Horowitz wrote that Lynch had been in contact with a member of Clinton's campaign to provide information and Comey, even though various reports were "not credible," insisted on ending the investigation in that July.
Those 'not credible" reports involved claims Russia was influencing the election in favor of Trump.
Comey handed Clinton a pass for her apparently chargeable violations of rules for handling classified information by claiming, "No reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case."
Horowitz already had explained Comey's comments were "insubordinate,"
The documents show Sally Yates, then a deputy attorney general, claimed to not recall the dispute as the FBI documented.
She recalled, the documents show, some information as "fake intel" or lacking credibility.
The report said the FBI also failed to review key information about Clinton's email scandal.
Grassley noted "the FBI obtained thumb drives from a source during the Clinton investigation" but that Comey, McCabe, Strzok, and others "failed to perform additional, targeted searches of the drives, even though they contained information relevant to the inquiry."
President Donald Trump said on Sunday that Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) should go to jail because he falsified loan documents, which is a crime.
Trump is understandably angry at Schiff for leading impeachment proceedings against him and for saying that his son would go to jail for defying a supboena in the Russia collusion investigation, which turned out to be a hoax.
“Adam ‘Shifty’ Schiff is in BIG TROUBLE! He falsified Loan Documents. He once said my son would go to prison on a SCAM that Schiff, along with other Crooked Dems, illegally ‘manufactured’ in order to stage an actual coup,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“My son did nothing wrong, knew nothing about the fictional story. It was an American Tragedy! Now Shifty should pay the price of prison for a real crime, not one made up by the corrupt accusers!” Trump added.
Trump first brought the DOJ investigation into Schiff's mortgage up on July 15 in another post on Truth Social.
"I have always suspected Shifty Adam Schiff was a scam artist," he wrote. "And now I learn that Fannie Mae’s Financial Crimes Division have concluded that Adam Schiff has engaged in a sustained pattern of possible Mortgage Fraud. Adam Schiff said that his primary residence was in MARYLAND to get a cheaper mortgage and rip off America, when he must LIVE in CALIFORNIA because he was a Congressman from CALIFORNIA. I always knew Adam Schiff was a Crook. The FRAUD began with the refinance of his Maryland property on February 6, 2009, and continued through multiple transactions until the Maryland property was correctly designated as a second home on October 13, 2020. Mortgage Fraud is very serious, and CROOKED Adam Schiff (now a Senator) needs to be brought to justice."
Schiff responded to the initial post by defending himself and saying that the accusations weren't true.
He said they were a "baseless attempt at political retribution."
He also accused Trump of trying to use the accusations against him to avoid the pushback over not releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files.
Schiff hasn't commented on Trump's latest post.
Schiff's offense seems like a relatively minor one and not worthy of sending anyone to jail, let alone a Senator.
If anything ever comes of the investigation, he will probably just have to pay a fine.
Can't really blame Trump for harping on it, though, because the charges he faced were just as specious.
He probably figures what's good for the goose should be good for the gander, and he's right--but does he really want to stoop to Schiff's level? That's the question.

Many Americans may have fantasized about Barack Obama being arrested and frogmarched out the White House, but now President Donald Trump is helping them visualize that very scenario with a video he posted online Sunday depicting it.
The spoof comes in the wake of disclosures by Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence, who is now calling for indictments of Obama officials for allegedly carrying out "treasonous" and "seditious" activities against Trump with the Russian collusion narrative after the 2016 election.
One commenter on the video said: "MOST EPIC FREAKIN TROLL POST I'VE EVER SEEN!!! I CANT WAIT TO SEE THE REAL THING!!!"
In addition to the Obama-arrest clip, Trump also posted a large, "Brady Bunch"-style image he called "The Shady Bunch," featuring Obama and his officials whom Trump suggests may have maliciously schemed against him.
Harrison Fields, special assistant to the president, appeared on "The Big Weekend Show" on Fox News Sunday evening to slam Obama as well as the deceptive news media.
"Obama's hands are on this and what is he doing now? He's over here with his wife doing a podcast, walking with flip-flops on the beach, acting like his whole career was everything and a bag of chips! It wasn't!" he said.
"It was the most corrupt presidency we have ever seen! We thought Joe Biden was bad. Now we know who was behind it all. It was Barack Hussein Obama, and we need an answers."
Trump later praised Fields on Truth Social, saying: "Great job by young and talented Harrison Fields on FoxNews.
"The Panel was fantastic on prosecuting Obama and the 'thugs' who have just been unequivocally exposed on highest level Election Fraud. Congratulations to Tulsi Gabbard. Keep it coming!!!"

The U.S. Department of Justice now has evidence from Tulsi Gabbard, President Donald Trump's director of national intelligence, that outlines how Barack Obama and his appointees "manufactured and politicized intelligence" to orchestrate the years-long Trump-Russia collusion conspiracy theory.
According to a report from Fox News, the DOJ has confirmed receipt of Gabbard's evidence.
Gabbard released documents on Friday that outline how Obama and his national security team "laid the groundwork" for years of attacks on Trump.
"Their goal was to usurp President Trump and subvert the will of the American people," Gabbard had posted to X on Friday regarding the criminal referral. "No matter how powerful, every person involved in this conspiracy must be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The integrity of our democratic republic depends on it. We are turning over all documents to the DOJ for criminal referral."
Gabbard told Fox News' Maria Bartiromo Sunday how she found the evidence in the case, and determined, "The implications of this are frankly nothing short of historic."
"Over 100 documents that we released on Friday really detail and provide evidence of how this treasonous conspiracy was directed by President Obama just weeks before he was due to leave office after President Trump had already gotten elected. This is not a Democrat or Republican issue. This is an issue that is so serious it should concern every single American because it has to do with the integrity of our democratic republic," she said.
WND reported Sunday that Gabbard said, "there must be indictments" for the "treasonous conspiracy."
"They all must be held accountable."
While noting she was not a lawyer, Gabbard expressed confidence in criminal prosecutions of the perpetrators.
"In my view, we have the evidence to move forward and indict and prosecute those responsible," she said.
"The implications of this are frankly nothing short of historic. Over 100 documents that we released on Friday really detail and provide evidence of how this treasonous conspiracy was directed by President Obama just weeks after he was due to leave office after President Trump had already gotten elected."
She explained, "The effect of what President Obama and his senior national security team did was subvert the will of the American people, undermining our democratic republic, and enacting what would be essentially a years-long coup against President Trump who was duly elected by the American people."

A police officer who manufactured a reason to arrest a man whom he saw walking along a road could end up facing serious consequences.
That's after the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals reversed itself, based on a new precedent from the U.S. Supreme Court, and allowed a case against the officer to move forward.
"This ruling reminds police that the Constitution does not allow them to arrest people for bruising their egos," explained lawyer Marie Miller, who represents Mason Murphy.
"Mason will finally have his day in court, signaling stronger protection for every American who speaks up when government officials overstep."
The Institute for Justice explained the case:
"Murphy's ordeal began in May 2021, when he was walking on the shoulder of a rural road. Officer Schmitt stopped him, demanded identification, and—after nine minutes of back-and-forth during which Murphy calmly asked what law he had broken—handcuffed Mason and put him in jail. Body-camera footage of the arrest shows Schmitt scrambling to invent a charge—at one point asking a superior officer, 'What can I charge him with?' Murphy was released two hours later and was not charged with any crime."
Schmitt is Sunrise Beach, Missouri, police officer Michael Schmitt, against whom the case now will proceed.
Murphy's case raises the question about whether police can jail someone to punish them for questioning their authority.
The ruling stems from the U.S. Supreme Court's 2024 ruling in Gonzalez v. Trevino, which made clear that police and other government officials are not immune from suit when they arrest people in retaliation for exercising their First Amendment rights.
The Eighth Circuit had ruled against Murphy but reversed itself when the Supreme Court vacated that ruling and sent the case back for further review.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security says a second suspect is now in custody in connection with Saturday night's horrific attack on a Border Patrol agent in New York City, and like the first suspect in custody, he has a lengthy rap sheet and came to America illegally during the Joe Biden administration.
DHS Secretary Kristi Noem identified the second suspect as Christhian Aybar-Berroa, a Dominican national along with Miguel Francisco Mora Nunez, who was arrested over the weekend for allegedly shooting the Customs and Border Patrol officer in the face during an attempted robbery.
"We were able to bring the second individual in and have detained him as well, and he will face consequences and hopefully strong prosecution for his crimes and his involvement on Saturday night," Noem said, adding that he "entered the country illegally in 2022 under the Biden administration and was ordered for final removal in 2023 by an immigration judge."
Regarding Nunez, Noem told reporters Monday: "There's absolutely zero reason that someone who is scum of the earth like this should be running loose on the streets of New York City."
"He was arrested four different times in New York City, and because of the mayor's policies and sanctuary city policies, was released back to do harm to people and to individuals living in this city."
Homeland Security previously said of Saturday's shooting: "A witness of the attack — believed to be an attempted robbery — states that she and the victim were sitting on the rocks by the water when 2 subjects on a scooter drove up to them and the passenger got off the back and approached them with a firearm drawn. The off-duty CBP officer responded by withdrawing his own firearm in self-defense."
"The CBP officer was shot in his right arm and left cheek. Thankfully, the officer is in stable condition at the hospital."
Noem personally met with the injured officer Monday, who is communicating with hand signals.
After her visit, Noem said: "I just want you all to know that we have our hearts and our prayers going out with our officer and with his family and his friends, and will be lifting him up in prayer for his quick recovery and his healing from this terrible tragedy that has befallen him."
"Our officer was off-duty on Saturday evening when him and his friend were attacked. They were attacked by two individuals that were set on robbing them, and thankfully he had his service weapon with him and was able to defend himself and his friend and injured one of those individuals that was trying to do them harm.
"His quick action speaks to his tenacity and his excellence in training and skill. And because of that, one of the perpetrators was wounded in this interaction and was incarcerated when he came in to get medical treatment."
"I'm calling on every single mayor and sanctuary city and sanctuary governor to change their policies and to change their tactics right now," Noem added.
"Their job is to take an oath to protect the public, to protect families that are out there every single day trying to provide for each other and to try to live the American dream. And they want to do so safely in their own communities. How many more lives will it take? How many more people have to be hurt and victimized before we have public safety? When I look at what Mayor Adams has done to New York City, it breaks my heart to see the families that have suffered because of his policies."
"We can look across this country at other mayors. We look at Mayor Wu in Boston and what has happened there under her watch, what's happened in L.A. with the riots and the violence and the protests that have gone on because of Mayor Bass and what she has perpetuated. When you look at Mayor Johnson in Chicago and how devastating it is to live in that city in some of those poorest communities, how they suffer every single day with the violence that's in front of them," Noem said.
Rodney Scott, commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, said, "This was 100% preventable. This was caused by bad policy and it can be fixed with good policy."
Border Czar Tom Homan said, "Sanctuary cities are now our priority. We're gonna flood the zone."
As WorldNetDaily reported, President Donald Trump on Sunday sounded off on the shooting, saying: "Last night, in New York City, an incredible CBP Officer was shot in the face by an Illegal Alien Monster freed into the Country under Joe Biden.
"He was apprehended at the Border in April 2023 but, instead of being deported, was RELEASED. The CBP Officer bravely fought off his attacker, despite his wounds, demonstrating enormous Skill and Courage.
"The Democrats have flooded our Nation with Criminal Invaders, and now, they must all be thrown out or, in some cases, immediately prosecuted in that we cannot take a chance that they are able to come back. That's how evil and dangerous they are!"
On Monday, Trump added more, saying: "Crime in American Cities started to significantly rise when they went to CASHLESS BAIL. The WORST criminals are flooding our streets and endangering even our great law enforcement officers. It is a complete disaster, and must be ended, IMMEDIATELY!"

An off-duty U.S. Border Patrol agent is hospitalized after being shot in the face Saturday night by an illegal alien with a deportation order who re-entered the U.S. during Joe Biden's presidential term.
The Department of Homeland Security released video of the suspected robbery that turned into an exchange of gunfire. One of the alleged perpetrators, Miguel Francisco Mora Nunez of the Dominican Republic, was reportedly wounded.
DHS explained: "On the evening of July 19, a U.S. Customs and Border Protection @CBP officer was shot in what looks like an attempted robbery.
"The officer, who was off duty at the time, is currently in the hospital in stable condition. One of the alleged perpetrators was an illegal alien with prior arrests for felony 2nd and 3rd degree assault and an order of deportation.
"The New York Police Department is currently investigating the incident."
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem indicated: "Suspect Miguel Francisco Mora Nunez is a national and citizen of the Dominican Republic.
"RE ENTERED and RELEASED under Biden— on April 4, 2023 the United States Border Patrol apprehended him at/near San Luis, AZ.
"This criminal has a criminal warrant in Massachusetts for kidnapping and had been charged with a series of offenses."
DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin noted: "The other suspect is still at large. Pray for this agent and his family."
She also stated: "The first subject, is an illegal re-entry and has a warrant from Massachusetts for kidnapping. He is a final order from the Dominican Republic as of 2003."
President Donald Trump on Sunday sounded off on the shooting, saying: "Last night, in New York City, an incredible CBP Officer was shot in the face by an Illegal Alien Monster freed into the Country under Joe Biden.

"The Democrats have flooded our Nation with Criminal Invaders, and now, they must all be thrown out or, in some cases, immediately prosecuted in that we cannot take a chance that they are able to come back. That's how evil and dangerous they are!"
The New York Post said the suspected shooter "got freed after every bust," as it outlined the series of events in the weekend shooting: "The 42-year-old federal agent and a female companion were sitting on a rock along the Hudson River in Fort Washington Park in Manhattan when they were ambushed by the two men on a moped around 11:50 p.m., according to police sources.
"After a brief exchange and tussle, one of the moped-riding men fired a gun and hit the victim in the face and left forearm. The agent then drew his own pistol and fired multiple shots at the perps, hitting the suspect.
"He was struck and wounded three times by the return gunfire, sources said. The alleged robber is currently in custody after walking into a Bronx hospital. …
"At the time of his arrest for the shooting, he was wanted on kidnapping and weapons charges out of Massachusetts, sources said. He also had at least four arrests in New York City – where he was let go without bail each time, according to the sources.
"Mora was nabbed twice just days apart in August 2024 for allegedly assaulting a pregnant woman and threatening to kill another migrant with a machete.
"Then he was arrested for violating an order of protection in November 2024, and had another bench warrant out for his arrest issued in January, sources said."
Secret Service field operations assistant director Michael Centrella confirmed that a top Secret Service official was the victim of a "swatting" incident on July 4, Newsmax reported. A caller dialed into the 911 emergency system, sending law enforcement into the official's community.
During a San Francisco cybersecurity event on Thursday, Centrella made the shocking admission. The event was a Deepfake Resilience symposium, and the story is relevant as it seems the caller in the case used the emerging technology to create convincing fakes.
The Independence Day incident occurred after someone called 911 and provided the name and home address of the official and said that someone wielding a gun was in the house. The caller claimed it was the official's daughter who had the gun.
However, that fact tipped off local law enforcement that it may be a fake since the man doesn't have a daughter. Had they not known, it may have become a dangerous situation for the Secret Service official and the special weapons and tactics team responding.
These incidents have become part of a growing trend that wastes resources and puts lives in danger as a misunderstanding could cause a shooting. FBI Director Kash Patel promised to work on the problem in a post to X, formerly Twitter, in March.
"I want to address the alarming rise in ‘Swatting’ incidents targeting media figures. The FBI is aware of this dangerous trend, and my team and I are already taking action to investigate and hold those responsible accountable," Patel wrote.
"This isn’t about politics—weaponizing law enforcement against ANY American is not only morally reprehensible but also endangers lives, including those of our officers. That will not be tolerated," Patel said.
"We are fully committed to working with local law enforcement to crack down on these crimes. More updates to come," he added. According to Fox News at the time, this came after a swatting at Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s residence resulted in a deadly car accident with police.
I want to address the alarming rise in ‘Swatting’ incidents targeting media figures. The FBI is aware of this dangerous trend, and my team and I are already taking action to investigate and hold those responsible accountable.
This isn’t about politics—weaponizing law enforcement…
— FBI Director Kash Patel (@FBIDirectorKash) March 14, 2025
The House of Representatives introduced a bill in January to address the problem through legislation. "Having spent over 40 years in law enforcement, I've seen firsthand how swatting is a reckless and dangerous action that not only puts innocent lives at risk but wastes critical resources," Rep. Mike Ezell (R-MS) said while introducing the Preserving Safe Communities by Ending Swatting Act.
"Local and state law enforcement agencies are forced to divert their time, energy, and taxpayer dollars to respond to these false calls, taking them away from real emergencies. As someone who has been on the front lines, I understand the toll this takes on our officers and communities," Ezell added.
The law has not yet been passed, but it's clear that it's a necessary step, as these are not isolated incidents. According to the Associated Press just last month, Romanian citizen Thomasz Szabo, 26, allegedly initiated over 100 of these incidents with the help of Nemanja Radovanovic, 21, of Serbia.
Szabo pleaded guilty to "engaging in a plot to use 'swatting' calls and bomb threats to intimidate and threaten dozens of people with bogus police emergencies, including a former U.S. president and several members of Congress," the AP noted. None of the intended victims were named, but these calls can be initiated from virtually anywhere to anywhere.
Unfortunately, some individuals have chosen to involve law enforcement in their dangerous games or schemes. Technology has made it simple to initiate, and that makes the trend all the more dangerous.

Yet another prominent Democrat has been referred to authorities for investigation and possible prosecution for a crime.
Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, a Florida Democrat, has become just the latest in a long list of Democrats suspected of outside-the-law behavior.
The Washington Examiner explains conservative watchdog Foundation for Accountability and Civil Trust has submitted a referral to the Department of Justice regarding her actions in allegedly retaining a $5.8 million overpayment from the state of Florida and using it for her congressional campaign.
She's already been the subject of "numerous ethics" investigations by the Office of Congressional Ethics and House Ethics Committee. Their conclusions were that she accepted campaign contributions "linked to an official action, accepted illegal in-kind campaign contributions, dispensed special favors to friends, misrepresented the source of campaign contributions, and requested community project funding to be directed to a for-profit entity," FACT charges.
Her actions like are "serious criminal violations," FACT charges.
The report said Trinity Health Care Services, which Cherfilus-McCormick led before joining Congress, was accused by the state of "knowingly processing an invoice more than 100 times its typical invoice size."
The state agency hired the healthcare company to help with COVID-19 vaccine registrations in 2021, and the company allegedly invoiced the state to obtain $5,057,850 in a payment instead of $50,578.50.
"The money wasn't returned to the state of Florida, suggesting she may have pocketed it for her own political gain," the report said, which also explained Cherfilus-McCormick's "income allegedly increased by more than $6 million around the time."
FACT charges, "the facts, timeline, and dollar amounts are plainly incriminating."
Trinity now has agreed to repay the state $5.6 million over the next 15 years.
Already, New York Attorney General Letitia James, a Democrat, and Sen. Adam Schiff, another Democrat, have been put under investigation on suspicion of mortgage fraud.
And the FBI is investigating multiple officials who held office during the Barack Obama administration, such as ex-FBI chief James Comey and ex-CIA chief John Brennan, for possible criminal actions related to a vast conspiracy to attack Donald Trump.
Other Democrats who have been suspected of illegal actions, or actually remain under investigation, according to the Hill, include:
_New York City Comptroller Brad Lander was accused of impeding law enforcement officers.
_Sen. Alex Padilla of California was forcibly removed from a June 12 press conference by the Department of Homeland Security when he charged the stage while leaving protective agents uncertain who he was or what he was doing.
_Rep. LaMonica McIver of New Jersey was charged for allegedly interfering with ICE agents during a visit to the Delaney Hall detention center in Newark, N.J.
_Hannah Dugan has been relieved of her judicial responsibilities in Wisconsin after being indicted by a federal grand jury for "knowingly" concealing an illegal alien from law enforcement officers seeking to arrest him.
_Newark Mayor Ras Baraka was arrested while visiting Delaney Hall with McIver. Authorities later said he would face no charges.
_A staff member for Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., was briefly detained in May after DHS agents entered the congressman's Manhattan office searching for "protesters."

Only hours after President Donald Trump described Sen. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., one of the most ardent Trump attackers in Congress, as a scam artist, it was revealed that Schiff was named in a criminal referral on suspicion of mortgage fraud.
In a Truth Social post Tuesday, Trump said: "I have always suspected Shifty Adam Schiff was a scam artist. And now I learn that Fannie Mae's Financial Crimes Division have concluded that Adam Schiff has engaged in a sustained pattern of possible Mortgage Fraud.
It was during the Ingraham Angle podcast that Laura Ingraham revealed she had obtained access to a criminal referral submitted to the Department of Justice naming Schiff.
The Gateway Pundit reported the referral was from Housing Director Bill Pulte and it accuses Schiff of falsifying bank documents and property records over a period of 16 years "in order to score more favorable mortgage terms."
Ingraham explained, "The referral, submitted to the DOJ by Housing Director Bill Pulte, alleges that Schiff has, in multiple instances, falsified bank documents and property records to acquire more favorable loan terms—impacting payments from 2003 to 2019 for a Potomac, Maryland-based property. Schiff owns a home in California and another in Maryland."
Former federal prosecutor Jonathan Fahey joined Laura Ingraham to analyze the criminal referral, saying, "Well, when Trump does it, they make it seem like the biggest deal ever—like they alleged in the New York case. That's a fun irony here. But basically, it's lying on a mortgage application to get more favorable loan terms. When you say it's your primary residence, you get a more favorable loan term than if it's a rental residence or something else. What's really interesting about this—Adam—this was not just coming from President Trump. In 2023, CNN reported on this issue. He's, on one hand, saying he's a resident of California to run for office—to run for the House, and then for the Senate—and also taking a deduction in California based on claiming residency in California. For the IRS, also, you can't claim residency in both California and Maryland. He's got a lot of issues, because it seems like, however this breaks down, it looks like he's saying one thing here, one thing there. He can't be a resident in both places. So it's either: was he lying in California, or lying in Maryland to get more favorable loan terms?"
Schiff first went to Congress in 2000. Then in 2003 he apparently bought a home in Maryland, stating it would be his primary residence.
But he continued to vote, as a resident, in California.
Schiff, who wildly claimed during the Russiagate conspiracy theory that he had seen the evidence of Trump's criminal actions, and later insisted on leading a failed impeach-and-remove campaign against Trump, has never desisted in making scandalous claims about him.
