A new report reveals that two of the properties owned by New York Attorney General Letitia James have been visited by police more than two dozen times, Breitbart reported. The homes, which are part of her mortgage fraud indictment, are occupied by her beleaguered family member, who has a checkered past.

The properties involved were part of the ongoing controversy about James's alleged lies on her mortgage documents. When applying for financing on her Virginia homes, James claimed that one would be her primary residence while the other would be a second home.

Interest rates are typically higher on homes rented to others or used as vacation homes, so James potentially benefited from claiming a Virginia residence even while serving in the New York government. Meanwhile, the family members who occupied the homes James purchased have had their share of drama, including repeated visits from law enforcement, according to the New York Post.

Family drama

Police were called on several occasions to the Virginia residence owned by James, which was occupied by her grandniece, Nakia Thompson. The 36-year-old, who has a criminal history, lives at the house with her three children, where she has lived since James closed on the house in August 2020.

According to police reports, there have been several calls to the house, with some even occurring on the same day. Cops have been visiting to serve warrants and subpoenas, and also for issues such as domestic violence, vandalism, and calls about suspicious persons.

The most recent activity includes six calls made in the first two weeks of October of this year. Still, Thompson has denied having any legal woes and took to Facebook to defend herself, as noted by the New York Post in a separate report about the issue.

"For all inquiring minds no I’m not in trouble havent been in years at all," she wrote. Thompson said that the charges against her, which include assaulting police, are "OLD AS HELL" and said they were "fabricated" against her.

"Very much a active mother to my children everyday, work everyday, and very much in college and about to graduate with my B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice," Thompson wrote. She didn't mention that in 2019, she had her kids with her when she was busted for felony larceny. "I’m doing my thing!! I walk with my head held high cause I worked hard to get where I am," Thompson wrote.

Legal troubles

While it seems that James's family can't stay out of trouble, the attorney general has been embroiled in the mortgage fraud that she claims is a political witch hunt, ABC News reported. James pursued President Donald Trump while he was running for office in a way that many believe surpassed her call of duty, and now she is attempting to get her own case dismissed by claiming Trump is retaliating.

Ironically, James slapped Trump with a massive $500 million fine for fraud based on his company's valuation of properties to obtain bank loans. It was a controversial case, both in its allegations and the penalty imposed, and it was ultimately dismissed. However, James now believes her very real scandal is simply a political war.

"This lawsuit and AG James’s outspoken criticism of the President triggered six years of targeted attacks. President Trump and his allies have used every insulting term in their vocabulary to deride AG James and call for criminal penalties in retaliation for the exercise of her rights and fulfillment of her statutory duties to fulfill her obligations as New York state’s attorney general," attorneys for James wrote in a legal filing.

They said that Trump's use of words like "scum," "criminal," "crooked," and "monster" demonstrates his particular disdain for James and proves that it was personal. Many believe that James and her ilk were going after Trump for political reasons, and now that they're on the other end of it, they don't like it.

James has held herself out to be the paragon of virtue while allegedly playing games for favorable mortgage rates. Although her family's legal woes are not her fault nor her responsibility, it adds another twist to this controversy that James seems to have brought on herself.

Hold onto your hats, folks—New York Attorney General Letitia James, a prominent figure in progressive circles, finds herself in a legal quagmire over two Virginia homes that seem to attract police like moths to a flame.

Between federal bank fraud charges tied to the purchase of these Norfolk properties and a staggering number of police calls to the residences occupied by her relatives, James is caught in a storm of scrutiny that raises serious questions about her judgment, the New York Post reported.

Let’s rewind to August 2020, when James closed on her first property in Norfolk for $137,000, a modest home intended for family use.

Unpacking the First Property Purchase

Shortly after the purchase, her grandniece, Nakia Thompson, moved in with her three children, and almost immediately, the house became a hotspot for law enforcement activity.

Police have been dispatched to this address 12 times since then, with calls ranging from warrant services to domestic disputes and even reports of suspicious individuals lurking about.

The frequency of these visits spiked in early October 2025, with six calls in just two weeks, suspiciously coinciding with national attention on James’ legal troubles—talk about bad timing.

Legal Woes and Bank Fraud Allegations

James’ legal headaches began with a federal indictment in October 2025 for bank fraud, alleging she misrepresented her intent to occupy the 2020 property to snag a better loan rate.

A second property, purchased in 2023 with a $219,780 mortgage, is also under a criminal referral for similar claims, despite paperwork bearing James’ signature claiming she’d live there—except she works over 300 miles away in New York.

Facing up to 60 years in federal prison if convicted, James denies any wrongdoing, but one has to wonder if this is less about progressive policy and more about personal accountability.

Family Ties and Criminal Histories

Back to the first house—Nakia Thompson, who testified to a grand jury in June 2025 that she lives there rent-free, has a rap sheet longer than a CVS receipt, including charges for theft and assaulting a government official.

In a Facebook rant, Nakia dismissed her criminal history as “OLD AS HELL” and “fabricated,” but public records, including a 2020 probation sentence for larceny, paint a less flattering picture (The Post).

Her latest charge in late October 2025 for allegedly threatening a school official over the phone doesn’t exactly scream “reformed character”—a pattern that hardly helps James’ public image.

Second Property, Similar Problems

Now, let’s turn to the 2023 property, home to James’ other grandniece, Cayla Thompson-Hairston, an OnlyFans model, along with her mother and sister, where police have shown up 10 times between April 2024 and April 2025.

These calls, including warrant services and a reported assault, suggest a troubling trend of chaos surrounding James’ family properties, raising eyebrows about who’s really in control here.

While James may argue she’s simply helping family, conservatives might see this as a cautionary tale of misplaced priorities—shouldn’t a public official ensure her own house is in order before championing sweeping social reforms?

A riot erupted outside a scheduled Turning Point USA event at UC-Berkeley on Monday, leaving participants bloodied – and under arrest.

A report at the New York Post explained Frank Turek and Rob Schneider were scheduled at the event, marking the end of the "This is The Turning Point," tour.

Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk was assassinated two months ago at an earlier event on the tour in Utah.

"During the brawl, two men were seen fighting each other, one of whom had blood gushing from his face. Video taken by Fox News Digital also shows a crowd of agitators gathering around the fight. Many demonstrators wore keffiyehs and carried signs with left-wing messages," the report said.

Police donned shield masks and brandished batons to try to bring the rioters under control.

Officers also confirmed there were arrests.

In what's being called an unprecedented step, the United Kingdom is no longer sharing intelligence with the U.S. about suspected drug-trafficking boats in the Caribbean, as it does not wish to be complicit in the military strikes, believing them to be illegal.

CNN reports Britain's decision "marks a significant break from its closest ally and intelligence sharing partner and underscores the growing skepticism over the legality of the U.S. military's campaign around Latin America."

The U.K. controls numerous territories in the Caribbean where it bases intelligence assets, and for years has assisted America in finding suspected drug vessels so the U.S. Coast Guard could interdict them, sources told the network.

"The intelligence was typically sent to Joint Interagency Task Force South, a task force stationed in Florida that includes representatives from a number of partner nations and works to reduce the illicit drug trade," CNN indicated.

"But shortly after the U.S. began launching lethal strikes against the boats in September, however, the U.K. grew concerned that the U.S. might use intelligence provided by the British to select targets. British officials believe the U.S. military strikes, which have killed 76 people, violate international law, the sources said. The intelligence pause began over a month ago, they said."

Last month, Volker Türk, the U.N.'s human-rights chief, called the kinetic strikes "extrajudicial killing," saying they violate international law, and sources say the U.K. agrees with him.

While the British embassy in Washington and the White House did not respond to requests for comment, a Pentagon official told CNN the department "doesn't talk about intelligence matters."

LibsofTikTok did proffer an opinion, saying: "They don't want us to defend our nation from drug-smuggling terrorists. The UK loves coddling criminals and terrorists."

CNN also reported Canadian officials have "made clear to the U.S. that it does not want its intelligence being used to help target boats for deadly strikes."

To date, at least 75 people have been confirmed killed by the U.S. military in the strikes.

On Monday, U.S. War Secretary Pete Hegseth announced that on Sunday, "two lethal kinetic strikes were conducted on two vessels operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations.

"These vessels were known by our intelligence to be associated with illicit narcotics smuggling, were carrying narcotics, and were transiting along a known narco-trafficking transit route in the Eastern Pacific.

"Both strikes were conducted in international waters and 3 male narco-terrorists were aboard each vessel. All 6 were killed. No U.S. forces were harmed."

Some initial public reaction to Britain's reported suspension of intelligence-sharing includes:

"These boats carry death, so let death beget death, and I think we can manage our own pond without the assistance of British Intel. Hell, we shouldn't trust the Brits with our intel; MI6 has been a leaky ship for decades."

"Isn't America depending on U.K. for intelligence about the Caribbean a little like U.K. depending upon us for intelligence about the English Channel?"

"This is like the NYPD telling me they will no longer monitor the area around my swingset in the backyard of my California home."

"Uhh … I'm pretty sure Britain hasn't actually trusted us since 1776. They're still a little bitter over that."

Attorney General Pam Bondi Tuesday announced the Department of Justice has launched an investigation into the anti-Turning Point USA violent protest that occurred Monday at UC Berkeley.

As WorldNetDaily reported, a riot erupted outside a Turning Point USA event, leaving participants bloodied – and under arrest.

"During the brawl, two men were seen fighting each other, one of whom had blood gushing from his face. Video taken by Fox News Digital also shows a crowd of agitators gathering around the fight. Many demonstrators wore keffiyehs and carried signs with left-wing messages," the New York Post reported.

Police donned shield masks and brandished batons to try to bring the rioters under control.

Bondi posted to X:

"Antifa is an existential threat to our nation.

"The violent riots at UC Berkeley last night are under full investigation by the FBI-led Joint Terrorism Task Force. We will continue to spare no expense unmasking all who commit and orchestrate acts of political violence.

"Under President Trump's leadership, and pursuant to his Executive Order designating Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization, the Department of Justice and our law-enforcement partners are dismantling violent networks that seek to intimidate Americans and suppress their free expression and First Amendment rights."

Earlier Tuesday Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon posted, "In America, we do not allow citizens to be attacked by violent thugs and shrug and turn our backs. Been there, done that, not on our watch."

Hollywood celebrities are continuing their vocal display of deadly Trump Derangement Syndrome, with actor Woody Harrelson now saying he would "slip him some cyanide" had he fulfilled his one-time dream of becoming a U.S. Secret Service agent assigned to protect the president.

In an interview posted Tuesday on X, Harrelson said: "I used to dream about being a Secret Service agent, but then that passed when I realized the character that I liked on television was actually an actor playing a Secret Service agent.

"But luckily, I didn't become a Secret Service Agent. I'd be having to protect Donald Trump right now and that just wouldn't sit well. I'd be one to slip him some cyanide instead of jumping in front of a bullet."

"I shouldn't be saying these things," he admitted. "Well, there it's out there."

In a separate interview posted online last week, Harrelson, who starred in 1994's "Natural Born Killers," said of President Trump: "I wish there were a way to get rid of that son of a b*tch and get in a great president. But, uh, doesn't seem like that's gonna happen.
"And I don't know how much he's gonna continue to foment hatred. We have a guy running this country who has unearthed a lot of bigotry, a lot of racism, and it seems to be more virulent than ever. It's strange how it seems we're going backward."
Woody's apparent killer instinct may run in his blood, as his father, Charles Harrelson was a contract killer and organized-crime figure convicted of assassinating Judge John H. Wood Jr. in 1979, the first federal judge assassinated in the 20th century.

President Donald Trump authorized two more strikes against drug cartel boats in international waters as the administration ramps up efforts to stop the flow of illicit drugs into the U.S., Breitbart reported. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced that the strikes on Sunday killed six men and destroyed their poisonous payload.

Trump has designated the foreign drug traffickers as terrorist organizations and has begun active strikes against these vessels before they reach American shores. The first of such strikes occurred in September, when Trump announced that this would become part of an ongoing effort to stop the cartels from Venezuela and others.

The president said in a social media post on Sept. 2 that the strikes should "serve as notice to anybody even thinking about bringing drugs into the United States of America. BEWARE!" Trump said on his Truth Social. Since then, these strikes have killed at least 76 narcoterrorists, CBS News reported.

Latest victory

Hegseth took to X, formerly Twitter, on Monday to announce the successful completion of Sunday's mission. "Yesterday, at the direction of President Trump, two lethal kinetic strikes were conducted on two vessels operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations," Hegseth wrote in a caption to a video of the maneuver.

"These vessels were known by our intelligence to be associated with illicit narcotics smuggling, were carrying narcotics, and were transiting along a known narco-trafficking transit route in the Eastern Pacific. Both strikes were conducted in international waters and 3 male narco-terrorists were aboard each vessel," Hegseth continued.

"All 6 were killed. No U.S. forces were harmed," Hegseth assured the American people.

"Under President Trump, we are protecting the homeland and killing these cartel terrorists who wish to harm our country and its people," the Secretary of War concluded. While these missions have been successful, the left has gone crazy over Trump's audacity to take such measures.

Leftists pounce

While the prospect of stopping the drug trade at its source is attractive to many who like law and order, there are objections from the left about Trump's methods and his aggression toward Venezuelan gangs. Volker Turk, who is the U.N.'s head of human rights, said Monday that the strikes have "strong indications" of "extrajudicial killings" and thus deserve additional scrutiny despite having the desired effect of preventing narcotics from making it to American shores.

"I have called for investigations by the US administration first and foremost, because they need to... ask themselves the question: are these violations of international human rights law? Are they extrajudicial killings?" Volker said, echoing some lawmakers who have questioned the president's ability to order these attacks..

"I mean, there are strong indications that they are, but they need to investigate this," Turk added. Meanwhile, Turk has complained that the strikes have occurred "in circumstances that find no justification in international law." This same skepticism has also been shared by lawmakers stateside.

However, a resolution that was proposed in the Senate to check Trump's power to order these strikes failed last week in a 49-51 vote. GOP Sens. Rand Paul of Kentucky and Lisa Murkowski were the only Republicans to join the Democrats' unanimous vote to put a stop to the strikes, NBC News reported. Some Democratic congressional lawmakers similarly raised concerns about the strikes and Trump's supposed lack of transparency.

These military strikes are taking out the drug trade at the source, just as Trump had promised. The increase in proactive operations is somewhat concerning from a geopolitical standpoint as they may spark retaliatory attacks, but Trump has typically been dovish when it comes to using the military, so it stands to reason that his change of heart comes from a well-informed place.

A panicked anti-ICE agitator begged for mercy from federal officers, pointing out her motherhood, after being caught on video allegedly interfering with a crackdown on gangs in Portland, Oregon, last week.

"I'm just a mom! I'm just a mom!" the hyperventilating woman tells an officer, as seen on footage courtesy of Katie Daviscourt of the Post Millennial. "Can you just give me a warning? I have kids."

"You are surrounded by federal agents," the officer tells her.

"I understand, I'm just worried about my community," she responds.

The Post Millennial reports: "The agitator, who had been recklessly driving through the neighborhood to impede ICE operations, was stopped by ICE officials on Thursday afternoon after blowing a red light and nearly colliding with a school bus while trailing federal vehicles, which she attempted to box in multiple times with her Mustang. The Post Millennial captured the incident during an exclusive ride-along with the ICE Seattle Field Office's Portland branch."

Julio Hernandez, the ICE deputy field officer director, said the woman has been referred to Homeland Security Investigations for criminal prosecution.

"She placed our officers in danger. She blocked in our vehicles several times," Hernandez told the news site. "We gave her multiple warnings to leave the area. This time, enough was enough."

He explained agitators were posted in various spots in the gang-ridden neighborhood to act as "spotters," letting illegal immigrants to ICE operations by using whistles, horns and vehicles.

"Like [DHS Secretary Kristi Noem] said, enough is enough, we're drawing the line, and that's what we did now," Hernandez told TPM during the ride-along. "We have her information. We're going to refer the case over to Homeland Security Investigations and the U.S. Attorney's Office."

There's a new, and serious, warning on social media for those who envision stepping into a car at a gas station for ill purposes like robbery or theft.

It's the image of an intruder, found in a car by the woman who owns the car.

He's pulled out of the vehicle, and thrown away.

report at the Blaze explains that the woman pulled the man "out of her car" and threw him to the ground "with ease."

Her husband, watching, said, "She is indeed my hero."

The report described the surveillance video as "astonishing" when it revealed the incident at a Hollywood gas station.

"The woman, Star Carter, was sitting in the driver's seat of her red Alfa Romeo at the gas station Tuesday when a male stranger walked up and tried to open her passenger door, KCBS-TV reported," the Blaze explained.

"It was just like that Kendrick Lamar verse [from 'Peekaboo'] was playing in my head, you know like, 'Bing bop boom bop boom bop bam!'" she said.

Husband Michael Carter was pumping gas at the time.

He first had shooed the invader away, but he returned, sneaking into the back seat on the driver side.

Michael said he was "wrestling" with the guy and "all I know is he just disappeared."

The report said, "His wife got out of the driver's seat, got the back door, ripped the intruder right out of the car, and tossed him to the ground."

"I don't condone violence, but I do condone self-defense," she said later.

The intruder picked himself up, and fled.
