Apparently, not everyone named JD Vance is a MAGA Republican.
Consider James Donald "JD" Vance Jr., a Michigan man sentenced to two years in prison for threatening to kill the Vice President JD Vance, as well as President Trump, Donald Trump Jr. and Elon Musk.
Vance Jr., a 67-year-old from Grand Rapids, Michigan, has pleaded guilty to the dastardly deed after using left-wing social media app BlueSky to post several threats, reports the New York Post.
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Michigan, Vance used the alias "Diaperjdv."
"If Trump, Vance, or Musk ever come to my city again, they will leave it in a body bag," Vance allegedly wrote in an April 1 post.
"I will either be shot by a secret service sniper or spend the rest of my life in prison. I've only got about 10 years of life left anyway so I don't f***ing care either way," he added.
In another post, on March 7, with the headline "Donald Trump Jr. Considering a Run for President in 2028," Vance threatened the president's oldest son.
"I will murder that stupid f***er before he gets secret service protection," Vance wrote, according to federal investigators.
The Post reports that Vance pleaded guilty to two felonies of threatening to kill or injure the president and vice president, and interstate threatening communications.
United States Attorney Timothy VerHey said in a statement:
"When Vance said he planned to kill our President and the Vice President simply because he disagreed with them, he crossed a line we all understand and so had to be punished."
The older Vance is not related to the veep, whose birth name is James Donald Bowman. He later changed his name to James David Vance.

Joe Biden's "puddles" agenda for water rules now is under fire from Environmental Agency chief Lee Zeldin.
It is the Waters of the United States rule that left an Idaho couple facing fines of up to $33,000 a day for starting to build a home on a residential subdivision land plot in Idaho.
The U.S. Supreme Court earlier reversed the outcome in that case, involving the Sackett family.
But Zeldin is working on a revamp of the regulation that was adopted during the Nixon administration under the Clean Water Act to control wetlands.
The Barack Obama and Biden administrations expanded the definitions of "navigable waters" to the point landowners feared the EPA "could swoop in at any moment and usurp control of their lands," according to a report at Fox News.
Zeldin explained, "When it comes to the definition of 'waters of the United States,' EPA has an important responsibility to protect water resources while setting clear and practical rules of the road that accelerate economic growth and opportunity."
Obama had grabbed vast new powers under the law, before Trump during his first term in office restored them to working definitions, the report said.
But Biden again expanded the federal government's reach.
Under his standards, low spots that collected puddles "could be found to have a 'significant nexus' to navigable water," the report said.
Zeldin said the goal now is to deliver on a Trump administration promise to make regulations clear while also protecting the nation's waterways.
The EPA said nine "listening sessions" were held and the conclusions offered were that commonsense guidelines were needed.
Now being developed are definitions for "relatively permanent" waterways, "tributary" and more.
"Wetlands" now in fact must be "wet" for a minimum time each year.
"Democrat administrations have weaponized the definition of navigable waters to seize more power from American farmers, landowners, entrepreneurs, and families," Zeldin said. "We heard from Americans across the country who want clean water and a clear rule. No longer should America's landowners be forced to spend precious money hiring an attorney or consultant just to tell them whether a Water of the United States is on their property."
WorldNetDaily reported over the years on the Sackett fight. The Supreme Court eventually gave the Idaho couple, Chantell and Mike Sackett, victory in their years-long fight with the Environmental Protection Agency.
It agents claimed their residential building land in Priest Lake was protected "wetlands" even though it wasn't wet, wasn't attached to navigable waters and was surrounded by homes on other lots.

PALM BEACH, Florida – After being labeled by President Donald Trump as a "traitor," "fake politician" and "ranting Lunatic," U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene says the commander in chief has put a target on her back, placing her very life in danger.
"Being called a 'traitor' isn't just hurtful, it puts a target on my back and puts my life in danger," the Republican from Georgia said.
Appearing Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union," Greene told host Dana Bash, "The most hurtful thing he said which is absolutely untrue is he called me a traitor and that is so extremely wrong. And those are the types of words used that can radicalize people against me and put my life in danger."
On Saturday, Greene revealed that in the wake of Trump's verbal attack on her, "I am now being contacted by private security firms with warnings for my safety as a hot bed of threats against me are being fueled and egged on by the most powerful man in the world.
"The man I supported and helped get elected. Aggressive rhetoric attacking me has historically led to death threats and multiple convictions of men who were radicalized by the same type rhetoric being directed at me right now.
"This time by the President of the United States. As a woman I take threats from men seriously."
Speaking to reporters at Palm Beach International Airport Sunday evening, Trump said: "I don't think her life is in danger. Frankly, I don't think anybody cares about her."
The congresswoman said she believes her push to release all the files concerning convicted pedophile Jeffery Epstein prompted Trump's rage against her.
"Unfortunately, it has all come down to the Epstein files, and that is shocking," Greene told Bash.
"I stand with these women. I stand with rape victims, I stand with children who are in terrible sex-abuse situations, and I stand with survivors of trafficking and those that are trapped in sex trafficking. And I will not apologize for that. I believe the country deserves transparency in these files. And I don't believe that rich, powerful people should be protected if they have done anything wrong."
When asked by Bash if there were something in the Epstein files that Trump doesn't want Americans to see, Greene responded: "The women themselves that I have talked to have over and over again said that Donald Trump did nothing wrong."
"Quite a few of them even told me they voted for him and those are the women I would like to see in the Oval Office with support. I would like to see all of the women there with support," she continued.
"I have no idea what's in the files. I can't even guess. But that is the question everyone is asking is: 'Why fight this so hard?'"
Greene's remarks come the day after a Trump triple-blast against her on X.
"Marjorie 'Traitor' Green is a disgrace to our GREAT REPUBLICAN PARTY!" Trump wrote, spelling her last name incorrectly.
He also said: "All I see 'Wacky' Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN! It seemed to all begin when I sent her a Poll stating that she should not run for Senator, or Governor, she was at 12%, and didn't have a chance (unless, of course, she had my Endorsement — which she wasn't about to get!). She has told many people that she is upset that I don't return her phone calls anymore, but with 219 Congressmen/women, 53 U.S. Senators, 24 Cabinet Members, almost 200 Countries, and an otherwise normal life to lead, I can't take a ranting Lunatic's call every day.
"I understand that wonderful, Conservative people are thinking about primarying Marjorie in her District of Georgia, that they too are fed up with her and her antics and, if the right person runs, they will have my Complete and Unyielding Support. She has gone Far Left, even doing The View, with their Low IQ Republican hating Anchors."
Greene pushed back against Trump's claim about discussions with him about interest in higher office.
"That is absolutely not true. I have never had a conversation with President Trump about running for Senate or governor. Those decisions were completely my own," she said.
"And after the past two months of the government shutdown, Americans saw exactly why I would never want to be in the Senate!"
"I also haven't called him. White House logs would prove that. The only messages I posted were the ones I actually sent, asking him to get involved because the American people want the Epstein files released. That's it."
In May of this year, a chaotic scene erupted at a New Jersey ICE detention facility, one that led to the arrest and indictment of a congresswoman from that state.
Now, despite Rep. LaMonica McIver’s attempts to have the charges against her dismissed, U.S. District Judge Jamel Semper last week determined that the lawmaker must stand trial on two of the three counts, reserving judgment on whether a third count will be allowed to stand, as Breitbart reports.
The incident that gave rise to McIver’s current legal troubles unfolded on May 9, when, according to the Department of Justice, the congresswoman “forcibly impeded and interfered with federal officers as they attempted to arrest an individual outside the Delaney Hall Federal Immigration Facility.”
Though McIver and two other members of the lower chamber appeared at the facility to “conduct a congressional oversight inspection,” their presence coincided with a demonstration in protest of the Trump administration's immigration policies.
Newark Mayor Ras Baraka arrived on the scene as well, entering a secured area of the facility, and when a federal officer indicated to him that he was not permitted to be in that part of the building, a dispute ensued.
McIver and her congressional colleagues challenged the officer’s assertions and opposed Baraka’s potential removal from the facility, eventually surrounding the mayor to protect him from arrest.
According to the DOJ, “McIver slammed her forearm into the body of one law enforcement officer and also reached out and tried to restrain that officer by forcibly grabbing him. McIver also used each of her forearms to forcibly strike a second officer,” conduct that led to an indictment on three criminal counts.
In response to the indictment, McIver and her attorneys argued that the prosecution itself was unfair and that she is entitled to protection from the Constitution’s speech and debate clause, as Politico notes, which provides immunity to lawmakers from actions stemming from official duties.
Unfortunately for McIver, Judge Semper disagreed with her characterization of the case and declined to throw out two of the three counts, with a determination on the third count still in abeyance pending receipt of additional evidence.
In a 41-page opinion on McIver’s request, Semper wrote, “Defendant’s active participation in the alleged conduct removes her acts from the safe harbor of mere oversight.”
The opinion continued, “Lawfully or unlawfully, Defendant actively engaged in conduct unrelated to her oversight responsibilities and congressional duties.”
The trial in the case was originally slated to start last week, but the judge permitted a postponement of the proceedings, perhaps with the expectation that an appeal of this ruling will follow in short order.
Not surprisingly, McIver was frustrated by the outcome, issuing a statement that said, “I am not in this fight only for myself, and I am concerned that this decision will simply embolden the administration.”
At the time of the initial indictment, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem made the administration’s position clear, stating, “No one is above the law. If any person, regardless of political party, influence or status, assaults a law enforcement officer as we witnessed Congresswoman McIver do, you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” and that is a sentiment with which millions surely agree. Whether a conviction ultimately results, however, only time will tell.

Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom has confirmed that his former chief of staff "no longer serves in this administration" after her arrest on charges including bank and wire fraud.
The comments from Newsom, whose aspirations to be the Democratic nominee for president are apparent, came in response to the case against Dana Williamson and other co-conspirators who are facing 23 counts of obstruction of justice, false statements and bank and wire fraud, a report at the Gateway Pundit confirmed.
"Williamson, who left the Governor's Office in December 2024, is named along with Greg Campbell, Sean McCluskie and two others on conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud. There are 23 counts in total; the 18 bank and wire fraud charges each carry a maximum of 20 years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines," The Sacramento Bee reported.
Newsom's office issued that statement about Williamson no longer being in the Democrat administration in California, and added, "While we are still learning details of the allegations, the Governor expects all public servants to uphold the highest standards of integrity. At a time when the President is openly calling for his Attorney General to investigate his political enemies, it is especially important to honor the American principle of being innocent until proven guilty in a court of law by a jury of one's peers."
Federal prosecutors allege that from February 2022 to September 2024, Williamson and others diverted $225,000 in funds from a dormant political campaign for personal use.
The report said it was run through several business operations and "disguised" as pay.
Further, the indictment charges Williamson conspired with others to create false, backdated contracts after receiving a civil subpoena in January 2024 from the U.S. Attorney's Office regarding Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans made to Williamson's business.
The report continued, "Williamson also subscribed to false tax returns claiming more than $1 million in business deductions for what were actually personal and nondeductible expenditures, such as private jet travel, luxury hotel stays, home furnishings, and designer handbags, as well as deductions for no-show jobs for friends and family."
"Today's charges are the result of three years of relentless investigative work, in partnership with IRS Criminal Investigation and the U.S. Attorney's Office," Sid Patel, of the FBI, said. "The FBI will remain vigilant in its efforts to uncover fraud and corruption, ensuring our government systems are held to the highest standards."

Attorney General Pam Bondi has revealed that a suspect tried to confront Alina Habba, the acting U.S. attorney for New Jersey, entering her office and destroying property there, before fleeing.
That person now is being sought.
"Last night, an individual attempted to confront one of our U.S. Attorneys — my dear friend
@USAttyHabba — destroyed property in her office, and then fled the scene," Bondi confirmed on social media.
"Thankfully, Alina is ok. Any violence or threats of violence against any federal officer will not be tolerated. Period. This is unfortunately becoming a trend as radicals continue to attack law enforcement agents around the country."
She continued, "We will find this person, and the individual will be brought to justice. Our federal prosecutors, agents, and law-enforcement partners put their lives on the line every day to protect the American people, and this Department will use every legal tool available to ensure their safety and hold violent offenders fully accountable."
The attack comes amid numerous calls for violence against federal officials and law enforcement officers by leftists fighting President Donald Trump's law-and-order agenda.
There have been open calls for violence, there even have been death threats, against federal prosecutors, federal border enforcement agents and more, even from Democrat and other leftist officials in cities and states.
Habba said, in a statement, "I will not be intimidated by radical lunatics for doing my job."
Habba is responsible for federal criminal prosecutions and civil litigations in New Jersey when the U.S. government has an interest.
There are about 150 federal prosecutors and another 130 support personnel working in her office.
Details about the suspect, and the attack that damaged property, were not released immediately.

President Donald Trump has included in his Oval Office goals to fight the terror-like antics of Antifa.
That's a loose organization of leftists and extremists who have rioted across the United States in opposition to his enforcement of American law.
His actions already included designating the schemes and the schemers as domestic terrorists.
It was just weeks ago, the president said, "I am pleased to inform our many U.S.A. Patriots that I am designating ANTIFA, A SICK, DANGEROUS, RADICAL LEFT DISASTER, AS A MAJOR TERRORIST ORGANIZATION. I will also be strongly recommending that those funding ANTIFA be thoroughly investigated in accordance with the highest legal standards and practices."
He noted Antifa "is a militarist, anarchist enterprise that calls for the overthrow of the U.S. government, law enforcement authorities, and our system of law—using illegal means, including violence and terrorism, to accomplish these goals."
Trump's order at the time instructed the federal government to "investigate, disrupt, and dismantle all illegal operations conducted by Antifa or any person claiming to act on behalf of Antifa."
He also targeted the "funding" schemes."
"Antifa engages in coordinated efforts to obstruct enforcement of Federal laws, with the goal of achieving policy objectives by coercion and intimidation – this is domestic terrorism," the White House said. "Antifa has engaged in armed standoffs with law enforcement, organized riots, violently assaulted ICE and other law enforcement officers, and engages in routine doxing of political figures and activists, threatening public safety."
Now a report from Fox News confirms that campaign against terror is going global.
"The State Department will designate four Antifa-linked groups operating in Europe as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) and Specifically Designated Global Terrorists (SDGTs) — putting them among the likes of ISIS, al-Qaeda and Hezbollah — Fox News Digital has learned," the report said.
It apparently is the first time the U.S. government has applied foreign terrorist designations to Antifa-linked groups, the report said.
The four Antifa-aligned cells designated are from Germany, Italy and Greece, and are accused of organizing or carrying out bombings, shootings and other politically motivated attacks.
The designation is significant as it now requires U.S. financial institutions to freeze assets of FTOs and SDGTs and ban entry of the group's members into the U.S.
Further, those organizations and their members now can be prosecuted criminally in the U.S., as well as those who offer support to them.
One group is Antifa Ost, whose left-wing members are linked to attacks during 2018-2023 in Germany.
"The International Revolutionary Front, also known as the Informal Anarchist Federation, is an Italy-based coalition of groups that endorse revolutionary armed conflict against the state," the report said.
Two other groups are based in Greece, the Armed Proletarian Justice and Revolutionary Class Self Defense.
All are suspected of attacking innocent people, government operations and industry.
"The anarchists, Marxists, and violent extremists of Antifa have waged a terror campaign in the United States and across the Western world for decades, carrying out bombings, beatings, shootings, and riots in service of their extreme agenda," an official confirmed.
A protester named "Jihad" was arrested on charges of assault and robbery following a brutal confrontation at a Turning Point USA rally at the University of California, Berkeley, on Monday, Breitbart reported. The dustup between Antifa and conservative attendees occurred on November 10, marking the two-month anniversary of the organization's founder, Charlie Kirk.
The man in custody allegedly stole a necklace from someone in the crowd, which led to a fight. Both the victim, who was wearing a red shirt emblazoned with "Freedom" like the one Kirk wore on the day he died, and the alleged perpetrator, Jihad Dphrepaulezz, were left bloody from the confrontation.
"Officers determined that one of the men — Jihad Dphrepau" lezz — had stolen the other man’s chain from around his neck. The other man was attempting to get his chain back from Dphrepaulezz," a spokesman for the Berkeley Police Department said. This was backed up by citizen journalist Andy Ngo, who shared photos of the victim and the suspect, whom he called a "Muslim far-left extremist" on X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday.

Several protesters showed up to agitate at the event and attempted to cause their usual chaos and violence. "Antifa is breaking through police barricades, and threatening our event attendees!" wrote Mikey McCoy, Turning Point USA chief of staff, in a post to social media.
According to Fox News, the protesters, many of whom were clad in keffiyehs, were chanting phrases like "UCPD KKK" to taunt police officers. They also repeated phrases such as "Turning Point has got to go," "fascists are not welcome here," and "Trump must go now."
Arguably, the worst of their rhetoric involved taunts about Charlie Kirk during an event planned two months to the day of his assassination. "Charlie Kirk went to hell… all the fascists will as well," a protestor said into a megaphone.
Fortunately, as Andrew Kolvet, executive producer of The Charlie Kirk Show, pointed out, this did not deter those who were there to honor Kirk's memory and mission with the event. "Despite Antifa thugs blocking our campus tour stop with tear gas, fireworks, and glass bottles, we had a PACKED HOUSE in the heart of deep blue UC Berkeley. God bless these brave students," Kolvet wrote on X Tuesday.

Unlike previous instances when these clashes have occurred, President Donald Trump's administration is not about to let it go unpunished. As CNN reported, at least three were arrested during the violent protests, as the Justice Department has promised to pursue those causing mayhem.
The DOJ's Civil Rights Division and the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force have promised to investigate the incident further. Attorney General Pam Bondi and Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon of the Civil Rights Division have pledged to pursue the criminals to the fullest extent of the law.
They have launched an investigation that Dhillon said will be "a deep dive into all the potential criminal and civil aspects of this horrific situation, including our concerns about UC Berkeley’s history of not protecting conservative speakers on its campus." The administration has ordered the UC Berkeley Police Department to preserve its records from the event.
"The violent riots at UC Berkeley last night are under full investigation by the FBI-led Joint Terrorism Task Force. We will continue to spare no expense unmasking all who commit and orchestrate acts of political violence," Bondi posted to X. She called Antifa "an existential threat to our nation."
It's ridiculous that violence would break out at an event just two months after Kirk's death. However, the good news is that the administration is taking care of it and will punish those who seek to hurt Turning Point USA revelers. Surely, Kirk's family is grateful that justice will be done.
Hold onto your hats, folks—New York Attorney General Letitia James, a darling of the progressive elite, finds herself in hot water with police calls piling up at properties she owns, Breitbart reported.
Reports reveal a troubling pattern of frequent law enforcement visits to two homes tied to James, alongside a Virginia grand jury indictment accusing her of mortgage fraud.
Let’s start with the Virginia property, which James allegedly claimed as a second home to snag favorable mortgage rates.
The indictment, handed down on Oct. 9, 2025, contends that the house isn’t a cozy retreat for James but rather a rental, a move that could jack up interest rates if disclosed properly.
Occupying this residence is James’s grandniece, Nakia Thompson, who reportedly settled there with her three children back in 2020.
Police have been no strangers to this address, responding at least a dozen times for everything from vandalism to domestic disputes, with half a dozen calls just in October 2025.
Now, let’s talk about the other property, snapped up by James in 2023, which also seems to double as a haven for family members with legal troubles.
Between April 2024 and April 2025, law enforcement rolled up to this second home ten times, including at least one incident involving an assault.
That’s over two dozen total police dispatches to properties under James’s name—hardly the hallmark of quiet, law-abiding neighborhoods.
James, never one to shy away from a fight, has pushed back against the mortgage fraud accusations with a familiar refrain.
“The mortgage fraud case against her is ‘about a justice system which has been weaponized,’” James declared, per reports.
Weaponized or not, the optics of fudging mortgage details while championing public integrity don’t exactly scream trustworthiness—especially when police are practically on speed dial at your properties.
As for Thompson, the grandniece living in the Virginia home, she’s taken to social media to downplay her own rap sheet.
“[She has] not been in trouble in ‘years at all,’” Thompson posted on Facebook, though the frequent police presence at her residence might suggest otherwise to skeptical observers.
While family struggles deserve empathy, the pattern of legal entanglements and property misuse tied to a high-profile official like James raises fair questions about accountability—questions conservatives have long asked of those pushing progressive agendas from ivory towers.

DELTONA, Florida – An 11-year-old boy was perp walked to his jail cell on Monday after allegedly writing a "kill list" of all the people he wanted to target at his school.
Video shows Karson Curry being marched into a cell after his alleged threats at Highbanks Learning Center in Deltona, Florida.
"The 11-year-old is facing a felony charge of making a written threat to kill," the Volusia County Sheriff's Office said.
"While school threats are down recently, Sheriff [Michael] Chitwood is continuing to stress to students and parents that these types of threats will result in felony charges."
Authorities learned Curry had no access to weapons, but they sought to make an example out of him.
It was not immediately clear exactly whom Curry was allegedly targeting and if he would face any discipline from his school.
The Daily Mail called Curry's perp walk "surreal," and reported his arrest "comes just two weeks after an 11-year-old at another learning center in Volusia County was taken into custody over an alleged kill list.
"Aahriyanna Reed was accused of jotting down the names at her desk at Riverview Learning Center on October 27.
"Although she told deputies she was 'just playing,' she was arrested and perp walked from the police cruiser and into a jail cell."
