New York Attorney General Letitia James, who campaigned for office on getting President Donald Trump and then orchestrated a flimsily grounded case against him, is being accused of blatantly violating the First Amendment.
"The tools of law enforcement must never be turned into weapons against political activity. The First Amendment prohibits government officials, from the most minor local officer to the attorney general of New York, from using their power and authority to target the speech of those they dislike," explains a brief prepared by the American Center for Law and Justice.
The document was being prepared to file in Trump's appeal in the Supreme Court of New York of a lower court's wild claim that he owes some $350 million in penalties for his business practices.
He then claimed Trump was liable for the hundreds of millions of dollars even though there was no evidence that anyone lost money because of Trump's deals, the banks with which he worked expressed a desire to do more business with him, there were no unpaid loans and no losses – by anyone.
The ACLJ continued, "No official has the authority to use their power to target speech through selective enforcement. And that is exactly what happened here. Facts in the public record demonstrate that the New York Attorney General Letitia James (the 'Attorney General') has taken the New York Executive Law, N.Y. Exec. Law § 63(12) (Consol.), and using it to attack President Trump for his political activity and speech.
"The attorney general expressly ran for her office on a platform of prosecuting President Trump for his political speech and activity. She then did so, using the law in unprecedented ways to seek financial penalties and the dissolution of President Trump's businesses, based on her disagreements with his political views.
The ACLJ said, "No interpretation of state law authorizes the attorney general to engage in politicized prosecutions. Just as the Supreme Court emphasized in Vullo, although the attorney general can pursue violations of state law, she cannot do so for the reason of seeking to punish or suppress President Trump's protected expression. Contentions that President Trump violated New York law does not excuse the attorney general to use the law and coercive threats to stifle his speech. It does not matter whether she alleges a meaningful violation of state law or not; regardless, the attorney general has impermissibly used her authority to target the political speech of her opponent."
The ACLJ said it is arguing "the civil action she brought against President Trump was an unconstitutional act of retaliation for his First Amendment activity, and accordingly, the judgment of more than $350 million should be reversed."
The ACLJ said James' agenda against Trump "represents a grave miscarriage of justice and a dangerous precedent that should alarm all freedom-loving Americans. This verdict is not about upholding the law – it's about weaponizing the legal system to punish political opponents and intimidate conservative voices."
The legal team explained what already had been documented in court hearings: "There are no victims claiming harm here. Banks and insurance companies involved in Trump's business dealings have not alleged any losses. But the trial judge ruled that there did not need to be victims, damages, or even an intent to harm anyone under the so-called 'fraud' statute."
The team explained that James' "selective enforcement of the law reeks of political bias. During her campaign for AG, James repeatedly vowed to target Trump, even before having access to any evidence. This clearly demonstrates her predetermined intent to use the power of her office for political purposes."
The ACLJ continued, "By pursuing legal action against Trump based on his outspoken conservative views and policies, James is effectively attempting to criminalize protected political speech. This sets a chilling precedent for all Americans who dare to challenge the liberal establishment. The use of state power to harass and intimidate political opponents is a hallmark of authoritarian regimes, not a free republic. James' actions represent a dangerous abuse of prosecutorial discretion."
The legal team pointed out that the U.S. Supreme Court recently ruled on similar circumstances, determining that "another New York official violated the First Amendment when she targeted the speech of the NRA" in a case.
The ACLJ continued, "The ACLJ has long warned about the dangers of politically motivated prosecutions. The case against President Trump is a prime example of how the Left seeks to use the legal system as a weapon to silence conservative voices and consolidate power."

Former President Donald Trump has promised to end the reign of dangerous Mexican drug cartels and outlined plans on foreign policy, during an interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters and Trump's running-mate, Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio.
During the interview, Trump stated it was "absolutely" on the table to destroy Mexican drug cartels if the election goes in his favor this November, despite Mexico being the U.S. largest trading partner.
"Absolutely…Mexico is going to have to straighten it out fast, where the answer is absolutely. They're killing 300,000 people a year with fentanyl coming in, and China, by the way, will do what they have to do. They're gonna do it just like I had to deal with President Xi…They [China] were gonna give the death penalty to anybody sending fentanyl our way, and that was part of my negotiation, " Trump told Watters.
Trump added China never carried through with these plans, because the Biden administration did not enforce it.
"You know, China has the death penalty for drug dealers…and I said, 'they're drug dealers'…he [Xi] agreed with me. Death penalty for drug dealers, the death penalty for people that send fentanyl into our country, and that would have made a big difference," Trump said.
Trump noted the Biden-Harris administration is "soft" on China, and as a result, almost 100% of fentanyl has Chinese origin and is then smuggled over the U.S. southern border by the cartels.
"Mexico is going to be given a very short period to police their border. I'm sure they're going to do not well, and then you're going to see the action start, and you know what's gonna happen? We're gonna have a lot of people living," Trump said.
Trump pointed out that not only is fentanyl killing people, but it's also destroying the lives of those who are addicted to it, their families, and the community.
"Even if there's no death, they're destroying families. The families are decimated and they're destroyed," Trump said.
It is well known Vance's mother was addicted to illicit drugs, and Watters asked how his mother was able to beat her addiction.
"You know, she just kept getting back on the horse. I know a lot of families struggle with addiction. I think my message is there is hope on the other side of addiction, you just have to keep on at it, and she's getting close to 10 years clean and sober," Vance told Watters.
Vance added if his mother had been addicted to fentanyl 20 years ago, she would not be here today.
"It's funny that people accuse us of being bombastic for saying the cartels, we need to go after them. What about American citizens who are losing their lives by the tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands because we won't do something about the cartels? That's what's reckless," Vance told Watters.
Vance noted he believes the Mexican government wants Trump to do something about the cartels because it is destabilizing Mexico too.
"$14 billion coming to the cartels, and that was a couple of years ago, it's probably more today. They're not gonna be a real country anymore. They're gonna become a narco-state unless we get some control over this," Vance said.

Confiscating Americans' firearms, by force, is one of the ideologies that Kamala Harris has supported.
"We have to have a buyback program, and I support a mandatory buyback program," she has affirmed.
It's just one of the wilder components of what she wants for America, others to include a ban on fracking, changing guidelines to suppress the availability of red meat to consumers, a ban on offshore explorations, to legalize illegal aliens, to abolish ICE, and let convicted murderers and terrorists have the vote.
Her positions are available in video in a new ad launched by Pennsylvania Republican Senate candidate Dave McCormick, whose posting notes that his opponent, Sen. Bob Casey, is endorsing the "policies of presumptive Democratic president nominee Kamala Harris."
Casey is on the video stating, "Kamala Harris is inspiring and very capable, the more people get to know her they're going to be particularly impressed by her ability."
The ad, which has been seen millions of times already, although it's not yet days old, then includes video of Harris and her wilder ideas.
A report at Fox News explains that conservatives are praising the "blistering" video.
The report noted journalist Mairead Elordi said on social media, "Wow."
Sen. Bill Hagerty said, "The most radical presidential candidate in American history – just listen to her. America would never be the same if even half of these policies were carried out."
"Congrats to Dave McCormick's team… this is brilliant," 1776 Project PAC Founder Ryan James Girdusky said, Fox reported.
It explained "Casey's seat is widely regarded as one of the best chances Republicans have to take back control of the U.S. Senate in November."

JERUSALEM – As Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gears up to address both houses of the United States Congress on Wednesday, he finds the American political landscape in a sense of turmoil he has likely never experienced – either as an undergrad or postgrad student at university or his lengthy political career.
A politician whose popularity has waxed and waned along with the fortunes of the country he has led for most of the last 15 years – both in terms of the domestic Israeli landscape and the U.S. political arena – he comes to a roiling Washington, D.C., for which he is not the primary focus. Not by a long shot.
Americans are currently consumed with the whereabouts of the putative President Joe Biden, and exactly what condition he is in. The Democratic Party has all-but anointed his Vice President Kamala Harris as his most likely replacement in November's election, and the protests against Netanyahu's presence in the capital have already unfurled.
Those protests are also literally coming from inside the House; with several Democratic lawmakers – including Harris – whose job it is to preside over the Senate floor – publicly declaring they will not attend the Israeli prime minister's speech.
Although Harris is set to meet privately with Netanyahu at the White House on Thursday, Israeli officials and Republican lawmakers have loudly expressed their barely concealed outrage over what they have termed a clear "snub."
Some of the fury results from the reason Harris will not be in attendance; instead of being on the floor of the Senate, she will instead be giving a speech in Indiana for Zeta Phi Beta, a historically black sorority founded at the vice president's alma mater, Howard University. Harris' campaign opined her non-attendance "should not be interpreted as a change in her position with regard to Israel."
Meanwhile, unnamed Israeli officials were quoted telling British newspaper the Telegraph that Harris, who is running for president, is "unable to distinguish between good and evil," and that skipping the prime minister's speech is "not a way to treat an ally," reported the Times of Israel.
Speaker of the House Mike Johnson of Louisiana blasted the vice president, labeling her no-show "outrageous and inexcusable."
"This is an historic moment, it's an important moment for the country, the gravity of the situation cannot be overstated, and yet, Kamala Harris will abandon her seat," he added.
Democrats always seem to have an excuse for boycotting the Chamber when Israel's Prime Minister addresses Congress.

Another senior Democrat in the Senate, Illinois' Dick Durbin said he would actively boycott Netanyahu's speech Wednesday. "I am committed to Israel and its right to defend its people … I will stand by Israel, but I will not stand and cheer [for] its current prime minister."

Reports suggest Netanyahu's speech will not strike the same confrontational tone when he was last invited to take to the floor of the Senate in 2015. On that occasion, he and his government had endured several public spats with the Obama administration, principally over Israel's vehement opposition to the Americans pushing for a nuclear deal with Iran. Some Democrats still haven't forgiven Netanyahu for his bellicosity in that speech, seen as intensely defiant of Obama and his administration.
This time he is thought to be preparing a "statesmanlike" speech, devoid of either attacks or criticisms of the Biden administration, and one which is largely intended to convey a message of peace. He will highlight his fervent desire to see the Abraham Accords extended to include Saudi Arabia, a development which even five years ago would have seemed unlikely, if not impossible.
He will, of course, outline Iran's malign influence on the entire region. He plans to explain how this nefarious actor has attempted to encircle the world's only Jewish state with threats, and more specifically to define Tehran's role in helping to plan Hamas' Oct. 7 attack – which has reshaped the entire Middle East.
On Tuesday, Netanyahu met with Jewish communal leaders as well evangelical Christian faith leaders – although at separate events.
The prime minister heard from them about their prayers for the return of the hostages held by Hamas in Gaza, for the peace of Israeli soldiers and for the security of the State of Israel.
The Christian event included some 15 to 20 pro-Israel evangelical leaders. Among those in attendance were Christians United for Israel Pastor John Hagee, Family Research Council President Tony Perkins, Philos Project Executive Director Luke Moon, televangelist Paula White, Friends of Zion chairman Mike Evans and Jordanna McMillen, U.S. director of the Israel Allies Caucus Foundation, according to the Jewish News Syndicate.
A group of Latino evangelical pastors including Carlos Ortiz were also present. Although both groups are steadfast in their love and support for the State of Israel, the Christian faith leaders are far more homogenous in their domestic political outlook – skewing significantly toward the Republican Party.
However, the Jewish communal leaders tend to be more heterogeneous, with support to be found for both of America's main political parties. Although it should be noted, the more orthodox a Jewish group is, the more likely at least a plurality of its members would vote for the GOP.
Benjamin Netanyahu: "I want to thank you for your incredible support at all times, and especially in these times. We have no better friends than you."

Stalled hostage deal
Also in Washington are the families of American hostages still held in Hamas captivity. The Gaza Strip's Islamist rulers are thought to hold eight people with dual U.S.-Israeli citizenship – only five of whom are assessed to still be alive.
The hostage families have been some of Netanyahu's harshest critics and urged the prime minister to conclude a hostage deal – assessing time is running out for their loved ones – before he made the trip to the United States. Having been frustrated in this desire, they have now called on him to start his speech by reminding his audience of the main reason – as they see it – of why he is there.
The Hostages Families Forum urged Netanyahu to open his speech in Congress with these simple words, without which there will be neither victory nor revival: "There's a deal."
"These words contain everything necessary to begin a process of national healing," a statement from the Hostages Families Forum HQ said.
"They embody the essence of mutual responsibility and mark the end of abandonment and sacrifice of citizens whose safety was violated."

National interest in the shooter who almost took the life of former President Donald Trump has not yet diminished, and reporters parsing through public information have spoken to some of those who knew the shooter in life.
Residents of the 20-year-old's neighborhood are still trying to come to terms with the "evil" that was lurking just down the street after the shooting at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania, which nearly assassinated former president Trump and killed firefighter Corey Comperatore, occurred just over a week ago, as Fox News reported.
"That's sheer fear. If [Trump] had his head turned, he would've had his brains blown out, and that was manufactured around the corner from my house," said a neighbor who lives about the same distance from the Crooks home that the shooter was from the president when Crooks opened fire.
"There was such evil around the corner," she said Tuesday. "We're always going to have a scar from what happened and how close to us [it was]."
Another woman who runs in the neighborhood on a regular basis stated that she saw Crooks in the calm area on multiple occasions over the course of the summer in their neighborhood.
Despite her efforts to "look over and smile and say hello," he would "look up as though nobody had been passing him," when she was trying to get his attention.
The news of the shooting that occurred barely forty minutes away from her home reportedly left that woman in a state of disbelief.
According to the woman, her life began to feel even more "surreal" after more details flooded the news, and she became aware that the perpetrator lived much closer to her own home than she originally thought.
"When I first thought about the shooter being in Butler, I thought, 'Wow, that's in my backyard.' It ended up being closer. All of a sudden, it's a neighbor," she said.
According to an old woman who lived down the street from the Crooks, the gunman helped her out with housework on a regular basis but they hadn't had many conversations.
"I would ask Tom, ‘Would you rake the leaves? Could you shovel the driveway?’ If I saw their mail, I'd pick it up," she said. "You get shocked, but you also get mad that something like this happened."
Those who lived closest to the Crooks residence on Milford Drive were reportedly evacuated by the police for a period of twenty-four hours after the shooting, according to the witnesses.
It was only because of a bomb investigation that they were advised to evacuate, but they were not given any specific instructions on where to go.
At least three times in the previous week, investigators spoke with members of the Crook family, including a visit to their home days after the shooting for at least an hour.

Joe Biden reportedly was diagnosed with COVID during a Nevada campaign trip last week – just before he made a social media post online over the weekend dropping out of the 2024 race for the Democrat party nomination for president.
But multiple reports now are revealing that Biden's health issue probably was much worse than COVID. In fact, it may have been a transient ischemic attack, often called a "ministroke," and that can be very serious for an 81-year-old like Biden who previously has had aneurysms, including one in 1988 that nearly was fatal.
Such circumstances would explain why he's not been seen in nearly a week, since Air Force One returned him to Delaware from Las Vegas on a flight that was so fast the plane "shook," according to witnesses.
"Law enforcement and medical teams gathered outside the University Medical Center trauma room entrance on Wellness Way in case the president of the United States arrived after he canceled an appearance at the Unidos US Convention in Las Vegas due to testing positive for COVID-19," the report said.
Instead, however, Biden's entourage was diverted from the hospital to the airport and Air Force One.
Reporter Jordan Schachtel then explained that Biden suffered an "undisclosed medical emergency," citing police sources.
His report said the official word from the White House that Biden had "respiratory symptoms" and "general malaise," but "we are told a very different story."
"We have verified that several of the core elements in Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk's viral X post from Monday are indeed true, according to law enforcement sources."
Kirk, in fact, reported that Biden had first been scheduled to be rushed to the Las Vegas hospital, with police closing "necessary streets to that POTUS could be transported immediately."
He reported then word was that Biden was being taken to Johns Hopkins, and later it was change again to have Biden taken to Delaware.
Schachtel reported his organization "obtained independent testimony from over half a dozen law enforcement officers who participated in the president's security detail, and others who spoke from firsthand knowledge of the incident that unfolded that day."
He reported, during Biden's campaigning, "all hell broke loose."
"Several law enforcement officers on duty that day were informed over the radio that the president was dealing with an unspecified medical emergency. Far from a case of the sniffles, this was sent out on encrypted police airwaves as if something akin to a five-alarm fire had broken out. Our sources estimate that it was 'easily' hundreds of Las Vegas Metropolitan officers and employees who heard the broadcasts live, so a curious media shouldn't have a problem reporting any follow-ups to this story. The dispatches made clear that this was much more than a mere change of plans, because it set into motion so much of their on-duty emergency response apparatus."
He noted, "Emily Goodin, the senior white house correspondent for The Daily Mail, reported that on the journey back east, Air Force One 'flew so fast the plane shook,' arriving in Dover in just 3 hours and 48 minutes."
Reports confirm a normal travel time for that route would be nearly five hours.
Schachtel reported, "Several of the officers we spoke to said this was indeed being reported and acted upon as a full-blown medical emergency, insisting that a simple positive COVID-19 test would not have warranted such a drastic, massive response."

A thermal zone in Yellowstone National Park, which is known for its geysers, hot springs, surface instability and volatile features, has exploded on tourists, destroying one of the park's famed boardwalks and terrifying watchers.
A report from the Jackson Hole News and Guide, in the pricey tourist town only a few miles from the park, said tourists were "traipsing" along the Biscuit Basin boardwalk when a "pool of hot water bubbling up from below the surface of the earth began rising up into the air."
"Some people stopped and started taking videos on their phones as the black cloud rose. Then, rocks started falling from the sky," the report said.
The Cowboy State Daily noted there were no injuries reported right away.
The eruption threw "an immense amount of black water onto a nearby boardwalk, destroying it, and sending tourists running for their safety.
The park's Biscuit Basin was closed down because of the event.
"The March family vising from California was touring the Biscuit Basin when Black Diamond Pool erupted. Steve and his wife, Vlada, were on the boardwalk with their two sons, Vlada's mother, and Issac Fischer, their guide from Casanova Guided Tours. They had a video camera running at the time, capturing the spectacular eruption even as they retreated to a safe distance. Other visitors also are seen fleeing the violent thermal spew," the report said.
Steve March said there had been a "large amount" of steam emanating from the Sapphire Pool before the explosion.
"We were walking toward Jewel Geyser when our guide pointed out the steam that suddenly shot out of Sapphire Pool. I guess that's never been witnessed before. And literally, a moment later, there was this massive explosion and a massive amount of rock (from Black Diamond Pool)," he told Cowboy State Daily.
He continued, "Our guide told us to run. So, we grabbed our kids, and we made our way to solid ground as soon as we could."
The report said the National Park Service noted Black Diamond Poll has been erupting – occasionally – since an earthquake in the region in 2006.
It had erupted just two months earlier.

In what a commentary at RedState sarcastically called a "coincidence," the Department of Justice now has said it does have transcripts of Joe Biden's conversations with a biographer, reversing course from its earlier claims they didn't exist.
"The Department of Justice has 'found' transcripts of exchanges between Joe Biden and his biographer that the department previously claimed didn't exist," the report confirmed. "The acknowledgment was made to a federal judge on Monday evening as part of an ongoing attempt by several organizations to secure information via the Freedom of Information Act."
Those documents, if made available earlier, could have had a significant impact on special counsel Robert Hur's investigation of Biden for mishandling classified government documents.
Hur ended up concluding Biden did commit the federal offense, but recommended against charging him because of his "diminished" capacities. However, one of the claims was that Biden used the classified material in conversations with a biographer, and might even have allowed him to see those papers.
The new "discovery" comes months after Hur ended his investigation into Biden's mishandling of paperwork, and one day after Biden took himself out of the race for the Democrat nomination for president this year.
Hur called Biden a "well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory" but the evidence regarding his apparent sharing classified documentation with a civilian writer was not available earlier.
Since then, the DOJ has faced numerous Freedom of Information Act requests and lawsuits over the Hur probe and conclusion.
Fox News reported DOJ lawyers earlier claimed it would be time-consuming to process audio files of conservations between Biden and biographer Mark Zwonitzer into transcripts.
"We don't have some transcript that's been created by the special counsel that we can attest to its accuracy," Cameron Silverberg, a DOJ lawyer, claimed in court to Judge Dabeny Friedrich just weeks ago.
Then, on Monday, Silverberg told Friedrich Hur's' office did, in fact, have transcripts of some of Biden's discussions with Zwonitzer.
The filing said, "In the past few days, in the course of processing the portions of the Biden-Zwonitzer audio recordings that the parties agreed to (see June 25, 2024 Joint Status Report at 2-3, ECF No. 20), the Department located six electronic files, consisting of a total of 117 pages, that appeared to be verbatim transcripts of a small subset of the Biden-Zwonitzer audio recordings created for the SCO by a court-reporting service.":
The filing said DOJ ultimately asked Hur about what documents he used.
The report continued, "The findings sparked widespread outrage that Biden was effectively deemed too cognitively impaired to be charged with a crime yet could still serve as president."
The fight continues, too, the Congress demanding the audio recordings of Hur's interviews with Biden, in addition to transcripts. Members explain they can determine more about Biden's cognitive abilities – and decline – by actually hearing him.
Biden has claimed executive privilege over the recordings and administration officials have refused to comply with Congress' requests.
RedState explained, "These transcripts are a big deal because one of the most direct allegations of criminality involving Biden's actions was that he shared classified information with his biographer. Had these been handed over months ago, it could have dramatically escalated the stakes regarding Hur's investigation and his subsequent report. It would have also deepened the scandal for a White House that was already in crisis given Biden's other issues, including his mental and physical condition."
That article charged, "It is simply not believable that the DOJ didn't know about these transcripts until the exact moment it became most politically convenient to acknowledge them. Now that Biden is out of the race, he is no longer in need of protection from AG Merrick Garland and his compromised department. Further, it allows now-presumptive Democratic Party nominee Kamala Harris to claim that the administration is 'transparent' despite the obvious timing issues at play."

With apologies to T.S. Eliot, his poem "The Hollow Men" perfectly describes the end of President Joe Biden's career. Biden is one of those political figures whose only distinguishing characteristic is his longevity rather than any signature accomplishments. He failed upward his entire career, finally arriving in the White House essentially by default at an age when he was unable to take advantage of it or even enjoy it.
Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. was elected a councilor in New Castle County, Delaware, in 1970, spending an unremarkable two years opposing new highway construction. He won election to the U.S. Senate two years later at the age of 30 in a campaign that contrasted his own youth to the incumbent's advanced age – Cale Boggs was 63 at the time.
Biden occupied one of Delaware's two Senate seats for the next 36 years, rising to chair the Senate Judiciary Committee from 1987 to 1995. It was here that he earned national infamy for the way he treated Supreme Court nominees Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas. Biden worked with Sen. Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts to torpedo Bork's nomination, accusing him of being an unrepentant racist. In 1991, Biden oversaw what Thomas himself called "a high-tech lynching for uppity blacks who in any way deign to think for themselves."
In 1987, Biden launched his first presidential campaign. Despite being heralded as the front-runner early on, he was ultimately derailed when Maureen Dowd of The New York Times exposed his plagiarism of a speech by British Labour leader Neil Kinnock. It turned out that Biden was doing a lot of plagiarism, not only of Kinnock but of Robert F. Kennedy, John F. Kennedy, and Hubert Humphrey as well.
Biden apologized for the plagiarism but never stopped lying. He claimed to have been arrested trying to visit Nelson Mandela in prison, said he walked with civil rights marchers, and boasted about graduating in the top half of his law school class. None of it was true.
Despite having to exit the 1988 presidential campaign in disgrace, the people of Delaware saw fit to send Biden back to the Senate for another 20 years. He resurfaced in 2008 with another short-lived campaign before accepting Barack Obama's invitation to serve as his vice president. During that campaign, he told black Americans that Republican candidate Mitt Romney would put them all back in chains.
Biden's most famous moment as vice president might have been boasting about getting the Ukrainian prosecutor who was investigating Burisma, a gas company on whose board Hunter Biden sat, fired.
Biden declined to run in 2016 but returned in 2020, launching his campaign based on the debunked lie that President Trump had praised neo-Nazis and white supremacists in Charlottesville. Despite the 2020 Democratic primary being initially led by Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, the party establishment circled the wagons. Biden won the South Carolina primary after having lost in Iowa and New Hampshire, and most of the remaining candidates dropped out and endorsed him leading into Super Tuesday. Biden promised to put a woman of color on the ticket as vice president, and accordingly picked Sen. Kamala Harris of California, despite her having previously accused him of being a racist.
Biden remained in his basement for much of the 2020 campaign, counting on the media to carry his water and nationwide mail-in ballots to do the rest. His term as president has been a series of carefully choreographed media appearances in between long vacations, making it increasingly clear that Biden was merely a figurehead for the deep state bureaucracy. The way in which his career is ending is yet more confirmation that America has not really had a president for the past four years.
As of this writing, Biden's last appearance was on Wednesday, July 17, shortly after announcing he had tested positive for COVID-19. He arrived at a Delaware airport and got into his motorcade, presumably bound for home where he would rest and recuperate. On Sunday, July 21, Biden's Twitter account announced that he had decided not to accept nomination for a second term, despite weeks of defiantly stating that he was definitely running.
Even though there was no proof that Joe Biden was even aware of this statement, the media and political machines fired up. Journalists posted paeans to Biden's supposed courage for being willing to relinquish power, while Democratic politicians lined up behind Vice President Kamala Harris. Biden's voice was heard on Monday afternoon calling Harris' campaign headquarters by phone, but that did not quell speculation about the president's true condition.
So ends the career of one of the most undistinguished political figures in recent memory. Rather than retiring at the end of his career and spending time with his grandchildren (including the one he refuses to acknowledge), Biden's last days are full of speculation about his physical and mental capacity as he vainly holds on to a veneer of power.
What a sad end.
In this last of meeting places
We grope together
And avoid speech
Gathered on this beach of the tumid river
Sightless, unless
The eyes reappear
As the perpetual star
Multifoliate rose
Of death's twilight kingdom
The hope only
Of empty men.

My prediction in the summer of 2023 was that Joe Biden would retire from president of the USA by the end of 2023 so that Kamala Harris could run as the incumbent president and serve for up to 10 years.
My prediction was wrong. My assumption that the oligarchs and super delegates who run the Democrat party wanted Harris was wrong.
Last April, about three months ago, my prediction changed to that Biden would drop out of the race immediately after the Republican convention so that Democrats would have six weeks to dominate the media before the Democrat convention. My prediction missed it by two days.
So who will replace Joe? The battle to be the Democrat nominee will be fought in the black churches. And Democrats will not complain about violating the separation between church and state. Why will they not be complaining? Because Democrats will be violating the separation now just as they did with Barack Obama and Reverend Wright.
Of the seven battleground states (Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan), Trump needs to win four of the seven, and Democrats need to win four of the seven. Currently, Trump leads in all seven. Since Hispanics are switching in droves from the Democrat party to the Republican Party (macho machismo), Trump has a lock on Nevada and Arizona, and only needs two additional states from the remaining five, while Democrats need four of the remaining five.
Que Mala Harris should not be the Democrat nominee. Democrats would be foolish to nominate her. The oligarchs and super delegates who control the Democrat party know that she is a loser, otherwise she would already be running as the incumbent. Far left extremist. Failure as border czar. Dumb. And the Democrat party is not democratic, even if they try to make the nomination process look democratic. Gaslighting.
Open convention? Mini primary elections? All so that the oligarchs and super delegates can claim that Harris is not the nominee because Democrats used a democrat process to pick someone else. A lie. The fix is in.
In 2020, Biden received more than 92% of black votes and Trump received eight percent. About 90% of black men and 94% of black women voted for Biden. Today, black men are voting for Trump at more than 40%, so that the total black vote is 23% for Trump. Twenty-three, up from eight percent. Why are black men switching to Trump? Emasculated. Dominated by women. Gender push back.
So what does Harris offer? Nothing. With 94% of black women votes, she does not add anything to help Democrats unless she can bring in black male voters.
Instead, Democrats need to nominate a black man to pull black male votes back to the Democrat party. Black women and other feminists will vote for the Democrat no matter who is the candidate or what are the issues.
Watch closely how the black gender war erupts in black churches across America. Black men are rejecting being dominated by black women.
How about Andy Beshear? or Roy Cooper? or Joe Manchin for president? Probably not. All are white guys. Christians. Pro-life. Exactly what those Democrat feminists oppose.
As stated by me about a month ago, Wes Moore is the logical pick. Black male. Military veteran. Married with two children. Religious. Governor from Maryland. Business Executive. The only reason why he may not be the nominee is if he rejects being the nominee for fear of losing to Trump and ruining his chance to run for president in 2028 without Trump in the race in 2028. Then Democrats are probably stuck with Que Mala. Those discussions with Wes Moore are happening right now.
