Vice President Kamala Harris might have been excited to be expeditiously unofficially crowned as the Democratic Party's presidential nominee, but now she's feeling the heat.

While she rarely made headlines in the past, mostly because she was completely ineffective and extremely unpopular with voters, her record is now under an intense microscope, and all sorts of negative tidbits are coming out.

According to JustTheNews, there's a case to be made that Harris is directly responsible for the terrible inflation we've all experienced under President Joe Biden's rule.

The outlet notes that Harris, as vice president, was the tie-breaking vote "in the Senate for the first COVID-19 stimulus package in 2021 which led to inflation."

What did she do?

Interestingly, Harris has cast the most tie-breaking votes in the upper chamber than any vice president in U.S. history. Most of those votes have resulted in the Senate passing damaging bills that Americans have had to suffer the results of.

Toward the beginning of President Biden's administration, Harris's second tie-breaking vote was the stimulus package mentioned above that many experts believe jumpstarted years of punishing inflation that we're still paying for today.

It was noted that inflation increased almost immediately after the bill was passed in the Senate and then the House of Represenatives.

JustTheNews noted:

According to a Pew Research Center poll from May, 62% of U.S. adults said that inflation was “a very big problem for the country.”

The poll was conducted May 13-19 of 8,638 U.S. adults with a margin of error of plus or minus 1.5 percentage points.

Harris is running on "building up the middle class" in recent campaign rallies, but that doesn't add up.

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) recently told John Solomon that Harris "was the deciding vote in the Senate that unleashed this massive inflation on the American people. The Senate was tied 50-50. She voted for the American Rescue Plan in the Senate to break that tie. And then what happened was this massive inflation – which has hurt every working class American, every senior on fixed income – that is squarely on the shoulders of Kamala Harris."

She's not running away

Other experts believe that Harris should have separated herself from Biden's economic policies, which are unpopular and transcend political ideologies for most working-class Americans. Instead, she's embraced it, which many believe is a massive mistake for her campaign.

"She is not saying she wasn’t for this stuff, she's for it, embraces it, thinks it’s a big success, thinks the border is a big success. Let the American people decide what they think," said Stephen Moore, former economic adviser to Trump.

Many have warned that as a result of Harris's stance on the economy, America is absolutely doomed if she's somehow elected president in November.

This is more proof that it's more important than ever that Republicans vote in Trump and not let Democrats get away with installing a worse version of Biden.

In comments that prompted a headline warning about his plans to "end the separation of powers" in the U.S. Constitution and "impose his own rules on the Supreme Court," Joe Biden promised Americans in his final months as president he is calling for the court to be changed up.

Democrats and other leftists and liberals have been enraged by the court over the past couple of years, following President Donald Trump's appointment of three relatively conservative justices, because the decisions have not come down the way they want.

Specifically, they have repeatedly lost their cool over the loss of the federal abortion "right" that had been created in the faulty Roe decision that was overturned.

There suddenly was speculation and discussion about changing the court, even though extreme rulings, to the left, drew no such comments for years that the liberals were the majority.

Packing the court with a bunch of new leftists, demanding individual justices stay out of cases when Congress tells them, and more, we're on the plate.

Now a report from the Epoch News notes that Biden, in a speech this week from the Oval Office, said the Supreme Court changes will be one of the projects on which he'll work for his remaining weeks, others being gun control and fighting global warming.

"And I'm going to call for Supreme Court reform because this is critical to our democracy, Supreme Court reform," Biden claimed during his speech filled with stutters and stumbles.

The report cited speculation that Biden wants an "enforceable ethics code."

And he wants to be able to get rid of justices after a certain time.

His spokeswoman, Karine Jean Pierre, explained, "The president believes that when you hold a high office, you should be held by a certain ethics and transparency. That's something that the president believes, and so he certainly will continue to do everything that he can. I don't have any policy announcements to make at this moment."

The progressives in Biden's political party already have said they want term limits, they want to pack the court and they want to review what justices do.

Biden earlier set up a commission to look at recommendations, but it failed the progressives, not endorsing the packing scheme and taking a neutral stance on term limits.

Also triggering fear for progressives is that Biden already has suggested that the next president, elected in November, probably will appoint justices to replace several who may retire in the coming years.

MSNBC voiced the concerns of leftists, saying, "To be sure, the number of justices a president appoints can be more a matter of chance than skill, especially when it comes to variables like a justice's health. That unpredictability alone underscores the importance of each election, as Republican appointees Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito are in their mid-70s and Democratic appointee Sonia Sotomayor is 70. It's hard to imagine a Republican-appointed justice stepping down voluntarily during a Democratic administration, and vice versa. Of course, that political reality hasn't played out equally across party lines, leading to today's 6-3 Republican supermajority that has delivered significant wins for the Republican Party."

And the report noted the Supreme Court itself could strike down "reforms reportedly backed by Biden like term limits and an enforceable ethics code."

NPR noted that changes would need to be made by a constitutional amendment, an unlikely scenario, or congressional action, an equally unlikely scenario now with the GOP in the majority in the U.S. House.

Recently, leftists have tried to push to the scandal level some actions by conservative justices, but they had been silent in years gone by when a leftist, the late Ruth Ginsburg, openly blasted a presidential candidate, Donald Trump, while sitting as a justice.

A new video mashup has documented that Kamala Harris is, in fact, Joe Biden's "border czar," with an assignment to sort out the mess, crisis actually, at America's southern border triggered by his open borders practices.

During President Donald Trump's tenure, multiple security plans and measures had been instituted and while the problem always existed, its impact was dramatically lower when thousands were entering the nation illegally instead of millions, under Biden and Harris.

Legacy media long identified her as the "border czar," but commentator Piers Morgan explained why they now are denying what they themselves reported: "The reason they all want to deny it now is because they realize it's incredibly damaging to Kamala Harris if the American people see that she was indeed in charge of sorting out the border problem and presided over a complete disaster."

The video was compiled by Newsbusters, a part of the Media Research Center.

Morgan said he's "bemused" about "why the media is trying to pretend they didn't say what they said. All of them."

Donald Trump is erupting on Christopher Wray after the FBI director suggested to Congress this week the former president may not have been struck by a bullet.

"Concerning former President Trump, there's some question about whether or not it's a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear," Wray testified.

"I don't know right now whether that bullet, in addition to causing the grazing, could have landed somewhere else," he added.

Late Thursday night, Trump reacted to Gray's suggestion, posting on Truth Social:

"FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress yesterday that he wasn't sure if I was hit by shrapnel, glass, or a bullet (the FBI never even checked!), but he was sure that Crooked Joe Biden was physically and cognitively "uneventful" – Wrong!

"That's why he knows nothing about the terrorists and other criminals pouring into our Country at record levels. His only focus is destroying J6 Patriots, Raiding Mar-a-Lago, and saving Radical Left Lunatics, like the ones now in D.C. burning American flags and spray painting over our great National Monuments – with zero retribution.

"No, it was, unfortunately, a bullet that hit my ear, and hit it hard. There was no glass, there was no shrapnel. The hospital called it a 'bullet wound to the ear,' and that is what it was. No wonder the once-storied FBI has lost the confidence of America!"

U.S. Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, a former White House physician, got vocal about the matter, saying:

"Christopher Wray was COMPLETELY INAPPROPRIATE and OUT OF LINE to question if President Trump was hit by a bullet. All this rhetoric does is feed the fire of ASSASSINATION DENIERS and IDIOTS like Joy Reid and Keith Olbermann!

"I examined the bullet wound hours after he was shot. It was a bullet wound with ALL the hallmark signs that accompany a wound from a high-powered rifle. Not to mention, we ALL SAW IT with our own eyes!

"It's because of IDIOTIC and POLITICALLY MOTIVATED statements like this, that we don't have ANY confidence in the supposed #1 law enforcement agency in this country. We CAN'T TRUST THEM to run this investigation into the assassination attempt!"

In the wake of comments by Jackson, the FBI Friday issued its statement to Fox News Digital: "What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject's rifle."

Colin Rugg, co-owner of Trending Politics noted: "Why to believe your own eyes when you can listen to the media spoonfeed your lies?"

At the Gateway Pundit, Jim Hoft wrote: "Chris Wray has single-handedly destroyed the reputation of the FBI, a once-respected law enforcement agency that is now the strong arm of the political left in destroying their political opponents."

He added Wray's "storied career at the FBI includes:

  • Setting up innocent men in fake kidnapping plots
  • Spying on Catholics at church
  • Raiding the homes of peaceful pro-life activists and terrorizing J6 protesters
  • Raiding the home of the former U.S. president on junk charges and allowing agents to sift through Melania Trump's underwear drawer
  • Hid evidence that would have exonerated President Trump in his first bogus impeachment
  • Doctoring evidence during the raid at President Trump's home
  • Targeted parents at school-board meetings
  • Hid evidence from the public on crackhead Hunter Biden's laptop in the run-up of the 2020 election."

How dare he do that? How dare President Joe Biden – a "leader" who dedicated his younger years to avidly avoiding military service during the Vietnam war, five times filing waivers for asthma while still continuing to play football and serve as a lifeguard – mock a prestigious combat-award recipient of the Bronze Star, former Army Ranger and Colorado Rep. Jason Crow who is a member of Biden's own party? The congressman courageously served a total of three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

What caused Biden to go off the deep end in criticizing Crow? The congressman, along with other moderate Democrats, made a zoom call to the president to express their concerns about him running for reelection due to his questionable mental state. They clearly recognized Biden serving a second term as not being in the country's best national security interests. As the call was subsequently leaked to the public, there is no dispute about Biden's subsequent rant and thus no way for Biden handlers to cover up what was said.

To the credit of these moderate Democrats, they may well have influenced Biden's decision days later not to seek reelection. But there is no excuse for what Biden put Crow through during that call.

The call reveals a president who is barely lucid as he is unable to complete sentences or his thoughts, rambling on and on while losing his train of thought. It is inconceivable this man could conduct any kind of meaningful dialogue with world leaders – or even with himself, if left alone in a room to do so. One of the participants claimed he "lost a ton of respect" for Biden during the call. The nature of the call is particularly damning when one considers not only were all participants Democrats, but even the news outlet releasing it – Puck News – is typically left-leaning.

It was after Crow mentioned the importance of national security to voters that Biden directed an attack against the Democratic congressmen. In doing so he unsurprisingly launched into a tirade of completely false claims in which he outrageously took credit for putting NATO "back together" – an odd assertion, as it had never fallen apart:

"First of all, I think you're dead wrong on national security. You saw what happened recently in terms of the meeting we had with NATO. I put NATO together. Name me a foreign leader who thinks I'm not the most effective leader in the world on foreign policy. Tell me! Tell me who the hell that is! Tell me who put NATO back together! Tell me who enlarged NATO, tell me who did the Pacific basin! Tell me who did something that you've never done with your Bronze Star like my son – and I'm proud of your leadership, but guess what, what's happening, we've got Korea and Japan working together, I put Aukus together, anyway! … Things are in chaos, and I'm bringing some order to it. And again, find me a world leader who's an ally of ours who doesn't think I'm the most respected person they've ever."

Never missing an opportunity to garner sympathy for himself due to the death of his late son Beau who died of brain cancer, Biden seems to praise the Bronze Star Beau was awarded for his army tour in Iraq as somehow being more significant than Crow's. The fact of the matter is that is absolute hogwash as just the reverse is true. While Beau received his Bronze Star for meritorious service as a lawyer safely behind friendly lines, it was not awarded for combat valor or heroism on the battlefield as was Crow's. Crow's was earned as an 82nd Airborne platoon commander during one of the largest sustained urban combat warfare operations in which it had been involved since World War II.

Wednesday marked the fourth time that Prime Minister Netanyahu has addressed a joint session of Congress, the most of any world leader in history.

His staunchest critics have claimed that the real reason for his visit to the States was "to enlist domestic American support to keep waging the war" rather than to end the war and bring home the hostages. Others have faulted him for failing to deliver anything of substance in terms of a long-term solution, let alone making serious concessions toward the Palestinians. His supporters saw things very differently, with one headline proclaiming, "JOINT SESSION: In wartime address to Congress, Netanyahu gives 'masterclass in global diplomacy,' most powerful speech of his career – 55 standing ovations."

While the Middle East pundits parse the details, here are some of the most memorable lines from his speech. Bibi sure knows how to fire up the crowd. Indeed, the "no fewer than 55 standing ovations" marked "the most of any such speaker in Congressional history." (Note that he is more popular in America than in Israel, especially among American evangelicals.)

After his introductory greetings, these were his opening lines: "We meet today at a crossroads of history. Our world is in upheaval. In the Middle East, Iran's axis of terror confronts America, Israel, and our Arab friends. This is not a clash of civilizations. It's a clash between barbarism and civilization. It's a clash between those who glorify death and those who sanctify life."

After introducing several IDF soldiers who were sitting in the audience today, including "Lieutenant Yonatan, Jonathan Ben Hamo who lost a leg in Gaza and continued to fight," he said, "My friends, these are the soldiers of Israel – unbowed, undaunted, unafraid."

On the difference between good and evil: "Defeating our brutal enemies requires both courage and clarity. Clarity begins by knowing the difference between good and evil. Yet incredibly many anti-Israel protesters, many choose to stand with evil. They stand with Hamas. They stand with rapists and murderers. They stand with people who came into the kibbutzim, into a home, the parents hid the children, the two babies, in the attic, in a secret attic. They murdered the family, the parents, they found the secret latch to the hidden attic and then they murdered the babies. These protesters stand with them. They should be ashamed of themselves.

"They refuse to make the simple distinction between those who target terrorists and those who target civilians, between the democratic State of Israel and the terrorist thugs of Hamas."

On the misguided protesters: "It's amazing, absolutely amazing. Some of these protesters hold up signs proclaiming 'Gays for Gaza.' They might as well hold up signs saying 'Chickens for KFC.'

"These protesters chant 'From the river to the sea.' But many don't have a clue what river and what sea they're talking about. They not only get an F in geography, they get an F in history. They call Israel a colonialist state. Don't they know that the Land of Israel is where Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob prayed, where Isaiah and Jeremiah preached, and where David and Solomon ruled?

"For nearly four thousand years, the land of Israel has been the homeland of the Jewish people. It's always been our home; it will always be our home."

On the misguided "justice" of the ICC: "The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court has shamefully accused Israel of deliberately starving the people of Gaza. This is utter complete nonsense. It's a complete fabrication. Israel has enabled more than 40,000 aid trucks to enter Gaza. That's half a million tons of food, and that's more than 3,000 calories for every man, woman, and child in Gaza. If there are Palestinians in Gaza who aren't getting enough food, it's not because Israel is blocking it, it's because Hamas is stealing it."

On the difference between Israel and Hamas: "For Israel, every civilian death is a tragedy. For Hamas, it's a strategy. They want Palestinian civilians to die so that Israel will be smeared in the international media and be pressured to end the war before it's won."

On Iran's war with Israel and the world: "In the Middle East, Iran is virtually behind all the terrorism, all the turmoil, all the chaos, all the killing. And that should come as no surprise. When he founded the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Khomeini pledged, "We will export our revolution to the entire world. We will export the Islamic revolution to the entire world." Now, ask yourself, which country ultimately stands in the way of Iran's maniacal plans to impose radical Islam on the world? And the answer is clear: It's America, the guardian of Western civilization and the world's greatest power. That's why Iran sees America as its greatest enemy.

"Last month, I heard a revealing comment, ostensibly about the war in Gaza, but about something else. It came from the foreign minister of Iran's proxy, Hezbollah, and he said this: 'This is not a war with Israel. Israel,' he said, 'is merely a tool. The main war, the real war, is with America.'"

Continuing with this theme: "That's why the mobs in Tehran chant 'Death to Israel' before they chant 'Death to America.' For Iran Israel is first, and America is next. So, when Israel fights Hamas, we're fighting Iran. When we fight Hezbollah, we're fighting Iran. When we fight the Houthis, we're fighting Iran. And when we fight Iran, we're fighting the most radical and murderous enemy of the United States of America.

"And one more thing. When Israel acts to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons, nuclear weapons that could destroy Israel and threaten every American city, every city that you come from, we're not only protecting ourselves. We're protecting you.

"My friends, if you remember one thing, one thing from this speech, remember this: Our enemies are your enemies, our fight is your fight, and our victory will be your victory."

In sum, "The war in Gaza could end tomorrow if Hamas surrenders disarms, and returns all the hostages. But if they don't, Israel will fight until we destroy Hamas' military capabilities and its rule in Gaza and bring all our hostages home.

"That's what total victory means, and we will settle for nothing less."

A defamation lawsuit against Rachel Maddow and other MSNBC hosts will proceed after a federal judge ruled that they made "verifiably false" claims about a doctor they dubbed the "uterus collector," The Free Beacon reported. The network's parent company faces a $30 million lawsuit from the Georgia-based gynecologist.

NBCUniversal will have to answer for the decision to proceed with a story about Dr. Mahendra Amin that turned out to be false. Maddow, along with Chris Hayes and Nicolle Wallace, ran with the story that he was performing unnecessary medical procedures on women detained at Georgia's Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility.

A supposed whistleblower came forward with the allegations that he was performing "mass hysterectomies" on several women, suggesting a motive such as mass sterilization. Rather than check the story, Maddow and others at MSNBC ran with it.

Bold Accusations

Perhaps the folks over at MSNBC were sucked in by the allure of such a made-to-order villain story presented by the former Immigration and Customs Enforcement nurse Dawn Wooten. She worked at the facility with Amin where this allegedly took place.

Maddow, whose salary is notably $30 million annually, revisited the story several times on her popular MSNBC program."When I met all these women who had had surgeries, I thought this was like an experimental concentration camp," Maddow claimed.

"The nurse says she and her fellow nurses, quote, questioned among ourselves like goodness he’s taking everybody’s stuff out that’s his specialty, he’s the uterus collector … He’s taking all their uteruses out, or he’s taking their tubes out," Maddow later said.

Unfortunately for them, it was all too good to be true, and Amin sued for defamation in September 2021. After a Senate inquiry into the matter, it turned out that Amin actually only performed two hysterectomies, and both were found to be medically necessary.

Moreover, the nurse who originally came forward with the allegations admitted they were made on hearsay alone. This was clearly more than just sloppy reporting.

Narrative Over Facts

Before the story was published or aired, it passed NBCUniversal’s standards department review despite its many problems. During discovery, the network admitted it was aware of the issues in internal communications.

"We just don’t know if any of this is true," NBCUniversal's deputy director of standards, Chris Scholl, told Hayes in a conference call on Sept. 16, 2020. This admission came the day after the network broadcast a story on Wooten's claims about Amin.

"The guy has a pretty clean record," Scholl said. The NBC News veteran also admitted Wooten "has no direct knowledge of this stuff" and "kind of has a beef."

Despite these red flags and others, Maddow, Hayes, and Wallace continued to cover the story.  In her ruling, Judge Lisa Godbey Wood of the Southern District of Georgia found that they all made "verifiably false" claims on air.

MSNBC and other establishment media networks are no longer letting the truth get in the way of a good story. In this case, they attempted to smear the reputation of a respected doctor and will have to pay the price for it.

There's an entirely new hazard to being outdoors, following a windstorm that swept over one part of Montana.

Streams that might be electrified.

It's a danger, authorities warn, because of power lines that were blown down – and ended up in streams.

report from Cowboy State Daily said winds reached 109 mph in the storm on Wednesday.

It was so strong it broke trees and "knocked potentially live power lines into the waterways."

Roads were clogged with debris.

The report said, "Emergency personnel are warning people to stay away from streams and other waterways, which may be electrified from downed power lines. They're also warning people to 'look up' to make sure breaking and dangling trees don't fall on them."

"Avoid waterways because there may be power lines in the water, and power and water don't mix very well," explained Nick Holloway, the coordinator for disaster and emergency services in Missoula County.

The storm damage was localized, according to Cowboy State Daily meteorologist Don Day.

Kamala Harris' work as Joe Biden's designated "border czar," to deal with the root problems of the massive flood of illegal aliens their administration's policies triggered at America's southern border, undoubtedly will be one of the subjects of the developing presidential contest, with her as Biden's probable replacement on the Democrat ticket.

But even her own party is developing doubts.

That's as a handful of Democrats joined the majority GOP in the House to approve a resolution condemning Harris' handling of those "border czar" responsibilities.

A report from Fox News highlights the fact that Democrat Reps. Jared Golden, Maine, Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, Washington, Mary Peltola, Alaska, Henry Cuellar, Texas, Don Davis, North Carolina, and Yadira Caraveo, Colorado, joined the GOP in condemning Harris' handling of the border crisis.

The resolution was adopted 220-196.

Fox explained, "Republicans have for years accused Harris of failing her job as 'border czar' after President Biden handed her the task of mitigating the 'root causes' of illegal immigration in 2021. It's quickly becoming the cornerstone of GOP-led attacks against Harris as she gears up for an expected head-to-head race with former President Trump. But the six moderate Democrats who voted to condemn Harris amount to a scathing rebuke of their party's likely presidential candidate – despite dozens of left-wing lawmakers rushing to endorse her."

Twitchy commentary said, "Maybe there's hope for the Democratic Party yet? And that's a heavy influence on the MAYBE."

The commentary noted it was evidence of "how unpopular Kamala really is, even with her own party."

President Joe Biden's COVID-19 diagnosis sparked a mad dash to get him back to his Rehoboth Beach, Delaware residence, the UK Daily Mail reported. One of the news outlet's reporters who was onboard Air Force One described the ordeal.

Senior White House correspondent Emily Goodin was among reporters in the press pool who had accompanied the president to Las Vegas, Nevada. The reporter explained what led up to the moment when Air Force One abruptly left town with the press and president on board.

Biden spent Monday, July 15, campaigning as planned. Goodwin said that "despite escalating calls from within the Democratic party for the president to quit the 2024 race, he appeared to be in a jovial mood when he arrived in the afternoon at Joint Base Andrews, outside of Washington, D.C."

The next day was another successful stop, in which he delivered what the reporter called "one of his more impressive teleprompter speeches at the NAACP convention," Goodwin recalled. However, by that Wednesday, everything had changed.

Rapid Decline

Goodwin said that "by Wednesday at noon, it was a dramatically different story" from the rest of the trip. "The President was running about an hour behind schedule," which the reporter said "wasn't unusual" as Biden is "habitually late."

However, it was after the presidential motorcade and the press made their way to the next stop at a Mexican restaurant that Goodwin noticed a change. The Secret Service attempted to hide Biden from photographers as he entered Lindo Michoacan's dining room.

"When he finally stepped through the door, his appearance was shocking. He looked pale, weak, exhausted, and shuffled slowly across the room," Goodwin said. The reporters in the press pool "all agreed" that he looked unwell.

Afterward, Biden did some interviews while the press waited. However, after some hours of waiting on him without word on what would happen next, they finally got the email from White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

"President Biden tested positive for COVID-19. He will be returning to Delaware where he will self-isolate and will continue to carry out all his duties fully during that time," the email said. This meant that the press was going along for the ride.

The Flight Out

Goodwin described a hasty takeoff. "Air Force One was flying so fast that I was shaking in my seat. Less than 30 minutes ago, my colleagues in the White House press corps and I had received word – just before the rest of the world – that President Biden had been diagnosed with COVID," Goodin shared.

"Now we were joining him on a mad rush back from Las Vegas to the Bidens' Rehoboth Beach getaway in Delaware. Moments after fastening my seatbelt, the massive engines of the presidential Boeing 747 roared to life," Goodwin recalled.

Goodwin's account seems to hint that the return trip was more of an emergency situation than was previously reported to the public. "The flight attendants, in their custom blue uniforms, stumbled in the aisles as the jet's nose pointed skyward," Goodwin said.

"Tray tables shook. Reporters held up their water glasses so they wouldn't spill. Most concerning, though, was that we had no idea what was going on," she added. Then, "in less than four days' time, his 52-year career in politics would come to a dramatic end" when Biden stepped down from his reelection campaign, Goodwin later said.

There was much speculation about what happened between Biden's departure from Las Vegas and his announcement about backing out of his reelection campaign. Now, it appears the situation was more dire than the public was previously led to believe.
