A lawsuit has been filed in Florida asking that the secretary of state be told to remove the name of Kamala Harris from the 2024 presidential ballot and that preliminary and permanent injunctions be issued "enjoining defendant Harris from running."
Her fault?
She participated in "a massive fraud under Florida election law … to conceal Joe Biden's debilitative poor health and at best dementia from Florida voters."
The case was brought by lawyer Larry Klayman, who founded both Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch USA, and was filed in Florida courts in Leon County.
In a statement about the issue, Klayman said, "Kamala Harris is a dishonest far leftist political hack who now aspires to be president of the United States. But having participated in a fraud that put our national security at extreme risk by promoting an essentially braindead person, it would be an even greater risk if she were allowed to run for the presidency.
"Justice must be done as she and her co-conspirators must legally pay for their callous disrespect for the office of president of the United States by endangering Floridians and the American people as a whole."
Along with Harris, Joe Biden, Jill Biden and White House doctor Kevin O'Connor are named.
The case seeks compensatory and actual damages to be determined at trial, attorneys' fees and costs, and the injunction against Harris being on the ballot.
Punitive damages will be requested "at the appropriate time.
The legal filing explains that the defendants acting in concert "fraudulently and intentionally covered up the true mental and physical conditions of Defendant Biden that made him unfit for the presidency and posed a potentially fatal security risk to the nation."
This all developed heading into the 2020 election, the paperwork explains.
They "colluded and conspired together to conceal Defendant Biden's debilitating condition and continuing mental and physical decline intentionally and fraudulently which resulted (in) defendant Biden's election as president and defendant Harris's election as vice president."
That has continued into the 2024 election season, it claims.
The lawsuit charges that O'Connor gave Joe Biden a good bill of health when at the time he was being treated for four different medical conditions, "including non-valvular atrial fibrillation, a type of irregular heart rhythm, hyperlipidemia, higher concentrations of fats, gastresophageal reflux and seasonal allergies."
The filing points out, "After the disastrous, totally confused, and incomprehensible presidential debate performance by defendant Biden against former President Trump on June 27, 2024 where defendant Biden appeared incapacitated, James Comer, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, wrote a letter to defendant O'Connor just weeks ago, on July 7, 2024, seeking to understand the extent of his involvement in the Biden family's financial activity, particularly his involvement with defendant Biden's brother, James, with Americore Health, LLC."
What was revealed as that O'Connor never recommended a cognitive exam for Joe Biden.
And James Biden previously admitted that O'Connor provided counsel in connection with the alleged work he was performing with Americore," through which large sums of money passed to Biden family members."
Harris had a duty to reveal Biden's true health conditions, it charges.
The action is based in part on Florida law that makes it fraud or corruption for any elected official to "change or place in doubt the result of the election."

There is no doubt that the Bible has had a tremendously powerful impact on the world, and especially the West.
It's been documented to have, through its stories, characters and symbolism, influenced literature, art and music. Even government, as America's founding documents cite those rights that are bestowed by our Creator.
Basics concepts of justice such as 'Thou shalt not steal" and "Thou shalt not kill" provide the foundation for the law.
In the early days of America, the Bible often was the only text book used in schools. Even now multiple schools teach the Bible as history.
And that's what's going to happen in Oklahoma, through the actions of the state superintendent of schools, Ryan Walters.
Those local education industry managers who disagree, he said, can "go to California."
"It's part of our history. It's crystal clear. … You look at the Pilgrims, you look at the Mayflower Compact, you look at Thomas Jefferson talking about our rights coming from our Creator. … The reality is the left, these radical woke administrators, want to indoctrinate your kids…"
He said they are pushing "leftism" on children, "saying there was no morality, there was no belief in God."
Oklahoma students will consider the Bible in its historical context, he said.
Those "woke administrators" who are, in fact, insisting on their ideological agenda "can go to California," he said.
Fox News said the comments came after he gave a directive to schools to integrate the Bible into history lessons, and eight districts across the state resisted.
"I'm going to tell these woke administrators, if they're going to break the law and not teach it, they can go to California because… here in Oklahoma schools, we're going to make sure that history is taught," Walters aid.
"What we're doing is making sure teachers have resources in order to teach these concepts that the left has pushed out of our schools."
Walters said the impetus for the addition came from parents.
"When I ran three years ago, they were crystal clear. 'Why in the world are we not teaching our kids that our rights came from God? Why in the world are we not referencing all these unbelievable moments in American history where the Bible was cited?' It is absolutely part of our history," he said.
A commentary at Twitchy quickly took up the subject and blew out of the water the criticisms that schools now suddenly are teaching religion.
"Walters has not mandated that schools 'teach the Bible,' as so many outlets like USA Today have proclaimed. The policy mandates that all classrooms be furnished with copies of the Bible, the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and, like Louisiana, the Ten Commandments. Moreover, the policy does not include any mandate related to teaching the tenets of Judeo-Christian religions (Walters' guidelines expressly forbid that). Rather, it dictates that schools must include the Bible only in such a way as to reflect its impact on history, culture, and Western civilization."
The guidelines, in fact, call for teaching the "historical and literary aspects of the Bible," not any "religious beliefs."
Further, the guidelines call for full information to parents, with confirmation that using the Bible as a historical reference "is not an endorsement of any religious belief."
The commentary explained, "The fact of the matter is, regardless of how much the left may hate it, there is no single literary text that has had anything close to the historical and cultural significance to and impact on Western civilization as the Bible has. Sorry, lefties. It's just true."
It has been roughly two weeks since former President Donald Trump was the target of an assassination attempt at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
However, in a move that has stunned the nation, Trump has expressed his intention to soon return to the scene of that harrowing experience in order to hold another event – this time in honor of the man who was tragically gunned down by the would-be assassin, as Breitbart reports.
On July 13, during a large, outdoor rally in Butler, Trump was struck in the ear after gunshots rang out from a nearby rooftop in a stunning sequence of events seen by millions live on television.
Two spectators in the crowd were seriously injured in the incident, and retired fire chief Corey Comperatore, another rally attendee, was tragically killed by a bullet while shielding his family.
Though some might avoid ever visiting such a site again, Trump made a surprising announcement on his Truth Social network this past week, declaring that he had every intention of heading back to Butler for a very important reason.
In his characteristic all-caps style, Trump wrote, “I will be going back to Butler, Pennsylvania, for a big and beautiful rally, honoring the soul of our beloved firefighting hero, Corey, and those brave patriots injured two weeks ago.”
Hearkening back to the battle cry he released moments after being struck himself, Trump added, “What a day it will be – fight, fight, fight! Stay tuned for details.”
It was just last week that the Washington Post reported that the U.S. Secret Service had encouraged the Trump campaign to consider discontinuing the sort of large, outdoor rally events for which the former president is known.
Sources said to be familiar with the matter who spoke to the Post on condition of anonymity suggested that security vulnerabilities at outdoor venues were sufficient reason for Trump to explore alternative options.
The Post suggested that the Trump campaign had not planned any upcoming events in outdoor settings and was instead scouting sports arenas and similar venues for future rallies.
At the time of the paper's reporting, the Trump campaign declined to comment, and the reason for that may have revealed itself shortly thereafter, given the former president's announcement of his imminent return to Butler.
As CBS News noted, it was on Saturday that Trump moved to set the record straight on the rally question, posting again on Truth Social to say, “I will continue to do outdoor rallies, and Secret Service has agreed to substantially step up their operation."
They are very capable of doing so," he added. "No one can ever be allowed to stop or impede free speech or gathering!!!”
Though Trump supporters everywhere will no doubt be holding their breaths every time the former president takes the stage between now and November, his bravery in the face of mortal danger is undeniable and is among the reasons millions have already decided to cast a ballot for him this fall.
The 2024 Summer Olympic Games are underway in Paris, France, and amid the excitement of global competition on Friday, tragedy struck one of the national teams in attendance.
As Fox News reports, Lionel Fatu Elika, coach of the Samoan boxing team, died due to an apparent cardiac arrest at the age of 60 at the Olympic Village where athletes are housed.
Reports suggest that though Elika received emergency treatment on-site in the Olympic Village after collapsing in what was later determined to have been cardiac arrest, he was unable to be saved, and his cause of death has since been attributed to “natural causes.”
A statement was subsequently released by the Samoa Association of Sport and National Olympic Committee (SASNOC) confirming Elika's tragic and unexpected passing.
The official release included reactions from Pauga Talalelei Pauga, president of the Samoa National Olympic Committee, who praised the late coach.
“Lionel was one of Samoa's top boxing coaches and a great believer in the Olympic ideal,” Pauga declared.
Pauga went on, “Our thoughts and those of the entire Samoan sporting community are with Lionel's family, his boxers, and friends. He will be greatly missed.”
The International Boxing Association also issued a statement in the wake of the sad event, extending “heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Lionel Elika Fatupaito, the national boxing coach of Samoa, who tragically passed away during the Paris 2024.”
According to People, the well-respected coach had traveled to Paris to support the competitive efforts of boxer Ato Plodzicki-Faoagali, who has since offered words of tribute for his beloved mentor.
Taking to Instagram to express his emotions, Plodzicki-Faoagali write, “No words can express how I feel but rest in love coach Lionel.”
The boxer also posted a photo depicting a smiling Elika to his account, which he captioned, “Our last picture together before you passed yesterday Grand Master.”
In a more detailed post to Facebook, Plodzicki-Faoagali detailed his relationship with the late coach, saying, “I first met coach Lionel when I was 15 trialling for Samoa's Youth team. He was a kind and generous coach, not only with his time, material things, but also his knowledge.”
Referencing the joint support he felt from the coach and his own father throughout his competitive endeavors, Plodzicki-Faoagali said, “You will be sorely missed coach, your dream was to attend an Olympics with me and dad, now you've left too early."
The grief-stricken athlete added, “Rest well old man, gonna miss you out there, you were the calm one and dad the storm of our corner.”
Former President Donald Trump's life was nearly taken earlier this month and by the grace of God Almighty, he escaped with some scratches and an ear bandage.
For nearly two weeks, Trump sported the large ear bandage with pride as his ear healed from the bullet that missed taking his life by mere centimeters.
According to the Daily Caller, the 45th president made his first appearance without the bandage at the recent Turning Point Action (TPUSA) Believers Summit held in his home state of Florida.
His first appearance without the bandage covering the entirety of his ear came exactly 13 days after a 20-year-old gunman took a shot at him while killing a spectator at his Butler, Pennsylvania rally earlier this month.
In true Trump fashion, the former president gave the Turning Point Action Believers Summit a great show and told them he took the bandage off for the first time for them, drawing immediate loud applause.
"I think you can see I recovered well, and, in fact, just took off the last bandage off of my ear," Trump told his audience. "I just got it off. I took it off for this group!"

Later on during his speech, Trump proudly shouted, "I took a bullet for democracy." The crowd again erupted with thunderous applause and cheers.
The Daily Caller noted:
Trump attributed his survival to “the power of prayer and the grace of Almighty God” in his speech. The GOP nominee previously told the New York Post in his first interview since being shot that he’s “supposed to be dead.”
Trump's campaign momentum shifted into turbo gear in the wake of the attempt on his life, bringing the GOP together in a way that probably wouldn't have happened otherwise.
Now that President Joe Biden is out of the running for the White House, Trump and his campaign have focused on Vice President Kamala Harris, who's expected to be at the top of the Democratic Party's ticket in November.
Trump correctly pointed out that just a few weeks ago, Harris was a low-polling, national embarrassment of a vice president that couldn't generate any excitement withing her party.
"She was a bum three weeks ago," Trump said. "A failed vice president in a failed administration."
It's good to see the former president on the mend and taking names as usual. The next few months will be absolutely wild.

Joe Biden has earned a lot of disgust from average Americans over his spending trillions of American tax dollars the nation didn't have, sparking inflation as high as 9%, after President Donald Trump had turned over an economy humming along with 1.4% inflation.
And Biden indeed used his advisers' schemes to propose that spending.
But it turns out that Kamala Harris, Biden's apparent replacement on the Democrats' 2024 White House ticket after Biden, blasted with evidence of a declining mental capacity, dropped out, actually provided the key vote that gave Americans that inflation.
The report noted Harris has cast 33 tie-breaking votes in the Senate so far, more than any other vice president, but it was her second, "for the stimulus package at the beginning of the Biden administration," that hit the American economy hard, triggering that inflation that peaked at just over 9%.
It has since fallen but remains significantly above the inflation under President Trump.
It was a $1.9 trillion spending agenda approved in the Senate, on Harris's vote, in 2021.
The report explained, "The U.S. inflation rate was 1.4% in 2020, then jumped to 7% in 2021."
Biden repeatedly, and falsely, claimed he inherited 9% inflation.
And Americans are noticing. The report cited a Pew poll from May in which 62% of adults said inflation was "a very big problem."
Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., told the John Solomon Reports podcast that Harris "was the deciding vote in the Senate that unleashed this massive inflation on the American people. The Senate was tied 50-50. She voted for the American Rescue Plan in the Senate to break that tie. And then what happened was this massive inflation – which has hurt every working-class American, every senior on a fixed income – that is squarely on the shoulders of Kamala Harris."
Stephen Moore, who formerly advised Trump on economics, said in the report that Harris now is embracing the failed Biden economic and border agendas.
"Let the American people decide what they think," Moore said.
He pointed out that under Biden and Harris, "average weekly family earnings have dropped by $2,100, whereas they were up by $5,500 under Trump."
Multiple economic experts said Harris is at fault for the nation's sinking economy as much as Biden.
"She owns this. She and the president, who she defended with lies for the duration of the last three and a half years, on this entire failure," one said.

A court in New Jersey has issued a ruling protecting the freedom of an Orthodox Jewish school to choose who will carry out its religious mission.
"Judges have no business picking Jewish rabbis or Orthodox priests," explained Laura Wolk Slavis, a counsel at Becket, which filed a brief in the fight.
"The court's ruling reinforces that common-sense principle, allowing Rosenbaum Yeshiva to choose who passes on its Jewish beliefs to the next generation."
The dispute involved Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey and ended up before the state Supreme Court.
The case happened when the school parted ways with a rabbi "who it said violated Jewish law by allegedly interacting inappropriately with his elementary-age female students," Becket's report explained.
The rabbi sued the school, claiming defamation.
Becket filed his arguments on behalf of Serbian Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Romanian Orthodox, and Antiochian Orthodox church bodies to clarify "the importance of allowing religious groups to select, control, and discipline their leaders without undue government interference," the report said.
"Religious schools should not have to fear being dragged into court when making decisions that seek to protect children in their care," said Wolk Slavis. "The justices ensured that this freedom is upheld for Jews and for people of all faiths across the Garden State."
Rosenbaum Yeshiva is a Jewish day school in River Edge," the report said. It is there "to help young Jewish men and women excel academically while remaining committed to Torah learning and Orthodox Jewish traditions."
The court case was brought by Rabbi Shlomo Hyman, who formerly worked at the school.
Becket explained to the court the ministerial exceptions in the law that provide a legal protection that allows religious groups to choose, and supervise, their ministers free from government interference.
Hyman has 90 days to appeal the decision to the United States Supreme Court.

To Americans, the 2024 presidential election appears to be a choice between the mostly conservative GOP President Donald Trump and wildly progressive Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris.
A basic pro-life agenda or radical abortion promotions.
National security and strength or open borders and vacillating foreign policy.
An economy to make families comfortable or higher taxes and more wild spending.
But to a Jewish rabbi, it's a choice between another Cyrus, the ancient king who, although not Jewish, helped that nation rebuild the temple, or the 4th kingdom of Daniel, which describes a power struggle that leads to national downfall.
It is Israel365 that cites the warning from Rabbi Isser Z. Weisberg,
The report explains in his video, Weisberg says Americans have the option of "the fourth kingdom described by Daniel that comes before total societal collapse" or … "A second Trump term in office would, on the other hand, be a replay of Cyrus, the non-Jewish 'Messiah' who will help Israel build the Temple in Jerusalem."
Weisberg, who lectures on biblical prophecies and Jewish eschatology, cited his prediction in 2020 that Trump would be in the White House for a second term.
He explained, "The Torah records prophecies to Rebecca and Isaac, stating that ultimately, at the end of days, Esav (Esau) will serve his younger brother, Jacob. Esav evolved into the mighty Roman Empire, which metamorphosed into the various Christian nations, and then into Western society with all of its diverse components. Jacob becomes the Jewish people. The story of Jacob and Esau was told to be a long and bitter subjugation, humiliation, and suffering of Jacob at the hands of Esav and all his offshoots. It was also foretold that there would be reconciliation at the end of days."
He warned, "The evil components of Esav will separate from the good and be vanquished. Esav will then have the clarity to understand his role, not as an adversary to his younger brother, but rather as a supporter who offers his hand to assist his brother Jacob in spreading the truth of God to all the inhabitants of the world. Our sages have passed down to us a tradition that at the end of days, the representative of Esav will approach the Jewish Messiah, who will reign from Jerusalem. With humility and penance, he will return all the riches that Esav and his offshoots plundered from the Jews in the long and bitter exile."
He charged, "It makes no sense that this incredible honor of participating with the Jewish Messiah and in the building of the Holy Temple, and of the establishment of God's kingdom on earth should be given to someone who is undeserving. This is someone who represented the ugly side of America, which has been engaged in undermining the security and safety of the Jews who had returned to their ancestral homeland since day one when the state was established in 1948.
"President Donald Trump was the first American president who stood up in defiance to the entrenched and endemic anti-Israel attitude of all previous U.S. administrations towards our presence in the Holy Land. This attitude has been in place for the past 70 years. Only [Trump], or somebody like him, would be the person who deserves this great honor of representing Western society and fulfilling the prophecy uttered to our matriarch Rebecca, that the elder one will serve the younger one."
He said of the Joe Biden administration, which succeeded Trump's first term, "Western society led by the United States had to go through further degradation and humiliation under the lowly and weak Biden administration before goodness could emerge from the ashes of the failed American Dream. Biden's incredible incompetence and intellectual decay is but a symbol of the total obliteration of the fourth beast envisioned by Daniel some 2500 years ago."
The Bible's book of Daniel notes there are four kingdoms to precede the "end times," and the fourth is described as having legs of iron and feet of iron and clay, interpreted to mean a failing and divided kingdom that will fall.
The rabbi said, "Biden's replacement with someone whose only qualifications are for gender or skin color and the birthplace of her parents further underscores the complete composition of the fourth beast."
He said the Biden years held "a deeply anti-Israel American establishment who have emboldened, financed, and even encouraged the thoroughly wicked Iranian access of pure, sadistic evil, who are now at the cusp of the obtaining nuclear capabilities," but "Now we are about to move on to the next phase."
He noted that history shows only one non-Jew to have been given the title of "messiah," and that was Cyrus the Great, "who freed the Jews from their exile forced upon them by the Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon."
Today, he said, "God does not articulate his plans through the mouths of human beings, but he has other ways of communicating. I'm no prophet, and I could be wrong. Still, it seems obvious to me that on Shabbat, July 13, in Butler, Pennsylvania, and front of the eyes of the entire world, God's voice was heard loud and clear to anyone whose ears were open, and he chose the second non-Jewish Messiah. Not to redeem the world. That job is reserved for the Jewish Messiah, a direct descendant of King David and his son Solomon. But like Cyrus, the first non-Jewish Messiah who was chosen to assist the Jews and reestablish on the land of Israel after the seventy-year exile in Babylon, [Trump] is the current non-Jewish Messiah who was chosen to be of service to the Jewish people and the Jewish Messiah."

An "amazing" parody video spoofing the candidacy of Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential race has been shared by Elon Musk, prompting outrage from left-leaning media.
"I, Kamala Harris, am your Democrat candidate for president because Joe Biden finally exposed his senility at the debate. Thanks Joe," Kamala appears to say in the phony ad.
"I was selected because I am the ultimate diversity hire. I'm both a woman and a person of color, so if you criticize anything I say, you're both sexist and racist."
"I may not know the first thing about running the country, but remember, that's a good thing if you're a Deep State puppet. …
"Joe taught me Rule #1: Carefully hide your total incompetence."
"I take insignificant things and I discuss them as if they're significant, and I believe that exploring the significance of the insignificant is, in itself, significant."
The video, which has more than 123 million views as of Sunday afternoon, was originally posted Friday morning by @MrReaganUSA, clearly indicating it's a "parody," though Musk's sharing comment did not mention that.
It's actually a reworked version of a Harris campaign ad, deleting images of of former President Donald Trump and his running mate JD Vance, while adding images of Biden.
After Musk shared the video with a laughing emoji, there was plenty of reaction.
Investigative journalist and conservative activist Laura Loomer said: "They should run this on TV."
Other commenters stated: "Finally, an honest campaign ad ."
"This is brilliant."
The New York Times wrote about the video, headlining its news story: "Elon Musk Shares Manipulated Harris Video, in Seeming Violation of X's Policies."
The report by Ken Bensinger of the Times said: "Mr. Musk's post … would seem to run afoul of X's policies, which prohibit sharing 'synthetic, manipulated or out-of-context media that may deceive or confuse people and lead to harm.'
"Some observers quickly called out the post. 'This is a violation of @X's policies on synthetic media & misleading identities,' Alex Howard, a digital governance expert and the director of the Digital Democracy Project at the Demand Progress Education Fund, posted on the site on Saturday. 'Are you going to retroactively change them to allow violations in an election year?'"
The paper added: "Pro-democracy groups have raised increasingly urgent alarms about deepfakes, a broad term for digital content that employs artificial intelligence and other technology to create audio, video or images that spread false information and could influence voter behavior.
"The Federal Election Campaign Act prohibits fraudulent misrepresentation of federal candidates or political parties, but the law, written in 1971, is ambiguous when it comes to modern technologies such as artificial intelligence."
The Harris campaign said Saturday: "We believe the American people want the real freedom, opportunity, and security Vice President Harris is offering; not the fake, manipulated lies of Elon Musk and Donald Trump."
Harvey Weinstein, the former Hollywood mogul, has been hospitalized following a positive COVID-19 test and a diagnosis of double pneumonia, Fox News reported.
Currently serving a prison sentence for sexual assault, Weinstein now faces significant health challenges while awaiting a retrial for an overturned rape conviction.
Weinstein, 72, is enduring several severe health issues, including diabetes, high blood pressure, and spinal stenosis, which have necessitated his hospitalization at Bellevue Hospital's Prison Ward in New York City.
The complications from these conditions have been exacerbated by fluid accumulation in his heart and lungs, leading to his recent health decline.
He was transferred to the hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 and developing double pneumonia, a serious condition that affects both lungs.
Weinstein's ongoing health problems have been public for some time. His representative, Craig Rothfeld, highlighted the variety of ailments Weinstein suffers from on a daily basis.
Rothfeld stated, "Weinstein is being treated for myriad health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, spinal stenosis, fluid on his heart and lungs, and various other conditions."
Additionally, he confirmed, "Mr. Weinstein tested positive for COVID and contracted double pneumonia in his lungs."
The gravity of Weinstein's health issues has intersected dramatically with his legal troubles. Convicted in February 2020 for sexual misconduct, he was sentenced to 16 years after a Los Angeles jury found him guilty of rape and other charges related to a woman known as Jane Doe 1.
Weinstein's legal team has been actively fighting his convictions, seeking retrials and opposing extradition efforts by California following an overturned rape conviction from 2020.
This legal turmoil has unfolded while Weinstein remains in a hospital setting since the day of his incarceration, according to his attorney, Diana Fabi Samson.
His 2020 rape conviction was overturned by a New York appeals court in April, prompting plans for a retrial set for November 12. In the meantime, his health condition has been a focal point in legal arguments against his extradition to California.
During a May 9 hearing, Weinstein's legal team opposed the extradition efforts, arguing that his fragile health would be jeopardized by the travel.
Samson, during a post-hearing press conference, emphasized, "Our main concern is that Mr. Weinstein is here in New York, so we can prepare for trial and that he gets the medical care he needs."
