Republican Senator Tommy Tuberville of Alabama has committed to aggressively supporting President-elect Donald Trump's vision for America by pledging to dismantle existing bureaucracy and drive GOP accountability.
Senator Tommy Tuberville, representing Alabama, has described his upcoming role in Congress as a transformative force to support the Make America Great Again (MAGA) agenda set by President-elect Donald Trump. Elected as a staunch supporter of Trump, Tuberville's aggressive stance aims to overhaul Washington's deep-seated bureaucratic system.
In a recent exclusive interview, Tuberville expressed his concerns over the current state of governance, emphasizing the loss of confidence among Americans and the necessity to return to foundational constitutional values.
He pinpointed the inefficiencies and overreaches of the outgoing Biden-Harris administration, notably criticizing their approaches to student loan forgiveness and border management.
Senator's Early Endorsement and Vision for America
Tuberville, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, was the first senator to officially endorse Trump for the presidency in 2022. His endorsement reflects a deep-seated belief in Trump's leadership qualities, which he describes as integral to the nation's recovery and progress.
The Senator recounted personal interactions with Trump, describing him as a "great American" with a profound dedication to the country.
He hailed Trump for his ability to navigate through significant adversities, including legal challenges and assassination attempts.
Tuberville's support for Trump extends beyond personal admiration, aligning with substantial policy initiatives aimed at countering what he terms as "wokeness" within federal institutions and policies that undermine military readiness and fiscal responsibility.
Condemnation of DOJ Investigations and Political Persecution
Tuberville has been vocal in his criticism of the Justice Department's investigations into Trump, which he views as politically motivated persecutions rather than legitimate legal inquiries. He argues that these actions are part of a broader attempt to undermine Trump's legacy and hinder his political resurgence.
"The law was broken," Tuberville said, reflecting on the administration's actions. "We were lied to from day one." His comments underscore his perception of the past administration's conduct as not only problematic but also illegal.
The Senator's commitment to Trump's cause is mirrored in his legislative actions, including his controversial move to hold up military promotions in protest against federal abortion policies, and his endorsements of political figures who align with Trump's ideology.
Trump's Acknowledgment and Tuberville's Future Plans
Trump acknowledged Tuberville's support during a significant rally at Madison Square Garden, where the Senator received multiple shoutouts, cementing his status as a key political ally. This recognition is pivotal as Tuberville prepares to take a more confrontational stance in Congress starting in January.
With the change in administration, Tuberville has outlined a two-month strategy focusing on defensive measures against what he describes as the chaos instigated by the Democrat Socialist Party. "But come January 3rd, when we take control, we’ll finally be able to start addressing and correcting the many problems they’ve created," he stated.
"The four-year national nightmare that Americans have been forced to endure under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris is finally over," Tuberville declared, framing the upcoming legislative session as a critical juncture for the nation and its allies, notably mentioning the ongoing geopolitical tensions involving Israel.
A far-left progressive Democrat aligned with the "Squad" was caught blatantly lying about the status of thousands of migrant children who have gone missing.
A damning Office of Inspector General report in August found that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was unable to find 32,000 migrant children who were released into the care of Health and Human Services (HHS), which is responsible for supervising unaccompanied migrant children.
Democrat shrugs at missing kids
“[ICE] could not monitor the location and status of all unaccompanied migrant children (UCs) or initiate removal proceedings as needed,” the OIG report stated.
“During our ongoing audit to assess ICE’s ability to monitor the location and status of UCs who were released or transferred from the custody of [DHS] and [HHS], we learned ICE transferred more than 448,000 UCs to HHS from fiscal years 2019 to 2023.”
“However, ICE was not able to account for the location of all UCs who were released by HHS and did not appear as scheduled in immigration court. ICE reported more than 32,000 UCs failed to appear for their immigration court hearings from FYs 2019 to 2023,” it added.
In denial
While the children went missing between 2019 and 2023 - a period including both the Trump and Biden administrations - the permissive border policies of the Biden-Harris presidency have exacerbated the issue by enabling human traffickers to exploit children.
During a hearing Wednesday, Democrat Rep. Pramila Jayapal (WA) dismissed the concern over missing children as a bogus controversy based on right-wing "talking points."
Jayapal bizarrely claimed that "these children are not lost," despite the fact that the government cannot account for their location.
“HHS’ legal authority ceases once an unaccompanied child is reunited with a sponsor, usually a parent or a close relative. While HHS conducts three follow-up calls to ensure that everything is going well between a sponsor and a child, the agency has no ability to force their way into the home. If no one answers these three calls, then HHS is no longer in contact with the child. Now that does not mean that the child is lost,” she added.
Carrying water for traffickers
In short, Jayapal is carrying water for human traffickers whether she realizes it or not.
While Jayapal claims that most children are reunited with "usually a parent or a close relative," many in fact fall victim to human traffickers who take advantage of poor vetting in the system.
Witnesses on human trafficking testified to Congress this week about this grave and often overlooked side of the border crisis.
“A young girl who arrived at the border in the custody of individuals claiming to be her family was bruised, disoriented and in pain,” human trafficking expert Alicia Hopper said. “Medical examinations revealed that she had been raped, yet she was sent back to her abusers because no verification was done to confirm her guardianship."
President-elect Trump has vowed to crack down on illegal immigration on day one, and he has specifically pledged to enact the death penalty for human traffickers.
President-elect Donald Trump urged Republicans to "kill" a bill that would provide additional protections for journalists and their sources, Newsweek reported. Trump previously supported the bipartisan legislation but has misgivings about malicious media hiding behind such protections.
During Trump's first term as president, there were many leaks to the press from insiders and a barrage of negative press from those who simply disliked his politics. Now, Trump is trying to plug up those leaks and temper the media's power by encouraging Republicans to shoot down a bill that would give them cover.
In a post to Truth Social Wednesday, Trump shared an update from PBS News about the details and status of the bill. "REPUBLICANS MUST KILL THIS BILL!" Trump wrote.
The Bill
The legislation, known as the Protect Reporters from Exploitative State Spying (PRESS) Act, has already succeeded in Congress. It was sponsored by Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin and GOP Rep. Kevin Kiley and passed the House of Representatives in January.
Raskin said the victory moved the U.S. "closer to establishing our first federal press shield law ever" at the time. "This awesome bipartisan vote at a time of party polarization underscores the binding power and universal appeal of freedom of the press as a leading constitutional principle," the Maryland Democrat noted.
Kiley similarly had high hopes for the bill's effect, noting that both parties "have unjustly targeted journalists and used compulsory process to obtain information from them about their sources." He believed that the PRESS Act was long overdue.
"Most states have protected journalists from such interference, and it is past time for Congress to do so as well," Kiley said. The bill is currently under consideration in the Senate Judiciary Committee, where it is under review.
Although many free press advocates are pulling for its passage, Trump has been on the receiving end of attacks that fall under media protections. He has also threatened to pull licenses from media outlets that weaponize their coverage against him, but this turn away from supporting media protections has blindsided Congress.
Media Bias
Since Trump's first presidential run, the establishment media has been out to get him and wasn't even hiding it anymore in the 2024 campaign. This was apparent in how CBS treated an interview with his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, on 60 Minutes.
According to Fox News, Trump was outraged after the network spliced together an answer Harris gave to make her appear more confident and competent. Trump called it a "giant Fake News Scam by CBS & 60 Minutes" and said the network should lose its license over it.
"TAKE AWAY THE CBS LICENSE. Election Interference," Trump wrote on his Truth Social at the time.
"She is a Moron, and the Fake News Media wants to hide that fact. An UNPRECEDENTED SCANDAL!!! The Dems got them to do this and should be forced to concede the Election? WOW!" Trump said.
Trump was justified in his anger at CBS, and he has suffered from the excesses of an unfriendly media out to get him. However, it's important that the U.S. continues to enjoy a free press and that the laws that ensure that are upheld even if they can be abused.

Denver is a far-left city in a far-left state, so its mayor, Mike Johnston, is a far-left politician.
As such he routinely makes his far-left opinions known, including on national matters.
But he may have threatened a little too much with his recent announcement that he's essentially at war with President-elect Donald Trump's plans to secure the national border and deport some, maybe many, of the illegal aliens essentially invited into the country under the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris regime in Washington.
It could even be that if he acts on his threats, charges could follow.
It is lawyer Mike Davis, who formerly worked for the Senate Judiciary Committee and clerked for Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch, who pointed out Johnston's plans could make him liable for allegations of conspiracy, obstruction and even assault on federal officers.
A report in Denverite explained that Denver has many programs, and a reputation, for being "where new immigrants can find legal help and maybe even a job without contact fear of authorities."
So will that change when President-elect Donald Trump takes office in January, and begins cracking down on illegal aliens, deporting some and punishing cities that protect their criminal status?
Johnston said, "The short answer is, we won't change that, because those are one of our core values. And we're not going to sell out those values to anyone. We're not going to be bullied into changing them."
He made a commitment: "I think we are gonna continue to be a welcoming, open, big-hearted city that's gonna stand by our values."
He also said his administration is identifying budget items that could be impacted by Trump's promise to defund sanctuary cities, those locations that protect illegal aliens.
He advocated for procedures that would ignore a person's illegal alien status should police notice "a busted taillight" and such, the report said.
But there probably will be a fight over work authorization, a category that the city has helped immigrants negotiate requirements.
The report explained, "But Trump has said he plans to take away work authorization from people who illegally entered the country. Blocking new immigrants from the right to work would 'cripple the American economy,' Johnston said. Without work authorization, Johnston said, people would have to rely on public support to get by."
And will Denver help with enforcing immigration laws?
"Absolutely not. We won't do it," Johnston said.
He said he doubts federal forces would raid Colorado seeking illegal aliens.
"I do not believe that our governor is going to let them use our [Colorado] National Guard at the state level. Unless they were planning on bringing national guards mobilized from Texas or Alabama to come invade Colorado, I don't know where they would find the forces to begin to do that."
Johnston continued, "And that seems to me like a very, very bad idea from start to finish that no reasonable American would support."
He said not only would his administration, but the people of Denver, would resist deportation procedures by federal forces.
"More than us having (Denver police) stationed at the county line to keep them out, you would have 50,000 Denverites there. It's like the Tiananmen Square moment with the rose and the gun, right? You'd have every one of those Highland moms who came out for the migrants. And you do not want to mess with them," he said.
Meanwhile, he's counting on Republicans in Congress and the White House for handouts to help with his plans for housing affordability.
"We'd love to look at a partnership for how they can help provide resources and support for us to bring on more housing that workers are going to need all over the state," Johnston said.
It was the Gateway Pundit that pointed to some of the holes in Johnston's plans.
"Mayor Johnston has made it clear that he will go as far as using city police and local volunteers to physically prevent the deportation of illegal immigrants, including those with potential gang affiliations," the report said.
The report accused Johnston of having plans to turn Denver "into a fortress of resistance against immigration enforcement."
The report said, "Johnston's approach, which includes using Denver's police force and even mobilizing citizens to obstruct federal operations, has drawn comparisons to lawless sanctuary cities. He boldly claimed that Denverites themselves would rise up to form a human barricade against federal authorities, invoking imagery of the infamous Tiananmen Square protests."
The report cited Davis' comments, explaining, "Johnston's defiance is not without potential consequences."
Trump already has picked former border enforcement agent Tom Homan as the "border czar" and he already has responded to a governor, JB Pritzker of Illinois, who threatened, "If you come for my people, you come through me."
Homan's response?
"Game on. We've got no problem going through him. I've got 20,000 men and women in ICE who are going to do their job with no apology. Congress has enacted a law that protects this country. People need to understand… entering this country illegally is a crime."
He added, "Every illegal alien in this country committed a crime to get here. So they're all criminals. We're gonna enforce the law without apology… and if any governor wants to stand in the way, go ahead and do it. We'll see what happens. We're not gonna be intimidated."

U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson has moved quickly to resolve a fast-developing war in Congress over one of the key agenda points of the outgoing Joe Biden-Kamala Harris regime: Transgenderism.
It seems Delaware voters elected Tim McBride, who now styles himself as a woman and calls himself Sarah.
He will join Congress in a few weeks, prompting women in the House already to announce they would not tolerate a male using the restroom, locker room and other sex-specific facilities alongside them.
That prompted a death threat against at least one member of Congress. But Johnson moved quickly.
On Wednesday, he issued a statement, "All single-sex facilities in the Capitol and House Office Buildings – such as restrooms, changing rooms, and locker rooms – are reserved for individuals of that biological sex.
"It is important to note that each Member office has its own private restroom, and unisex restrooms are available throughout the Capitol. Women deserve women's only spaces."
It was U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., who led the campaign against men in women's restrooms, introducing a resolution that would bar males from those locations.
Leftists promptly turned berserker, and they responded with a specific threat: "Congresswoman Nancy Mace, I hope that one day I do find you in that women's bathroom and I grab your ratty looking f***ing hair and drag your face down to the floor while I repeatedly bash and until the blood's everywhere and you're dead."
A report in the Hill noted the speaker has "general control" of facilities in the house, and that gives him authority to issue such guidance.
The Gateway Pundit said, "The woke left has lost this round, and McBride will no longer be able to invade the ladies' restroom as he has on various other occasions."
Mace's response appeared on social media:
Mace explained her reasons: "I'm a victim of abuse myself. I'm a rape survivor. I have PTSD from the abuse I've suffered at the hands of a man, and I know how vulnerable women and girls are in private spaces."
She also warned her agenda to protect women will not stop inside the Capitol walls.
Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, a Democrat, insisted on calling McBride, a him, "her," and complained that the GOP majority in the House was opening its work by "bullying" a member.
WND had reported when the issue developed that Mace said McBride is "a biological man trying to force himself into women's spaces, and I'm not going to tolerate."
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., said, "There's a man pretending to be a woman coming to Congress in January who expects to use the same restrooms as little girls visiting the Capitol. I consider it assault for a man to charge into places that are designated specifically for women. Restrooms are a place where women are vulnerable. It's mentally ill for a man to think he should be allowed there."
Transgenderism repeatedly has taken the headlines since the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris administration made it one of the top priorities for American government, which now has imposed even on the world stage its ideological campaign.
The Washington Examiner reported at least one Democrat lawmaker turned vulgar over the problem.
"I just don't understand why bathrooms are top of mind for [Mace]," Rep. Maxwell Frost, D-Fla., said. "But she wants to think about where a future member is gonna p— and s—* like I don't — I don't understand."
The social behavior campaign by the Democrats was front and center during the 2024 election, a landslide won by President-elect Donald Trump and Republican majorities in the U.S. Senate and House.

Gov. J.B. Pritzker, the far-left billionaire governor of Illinois, is being taken to court over his schemes that force state residents to choose between paying for abortions or going without health insurance entirely.
The case has been brought by the Thomas More Society on behalf of Students for Life of America, Midwest Bible Church, Pro-Life Action League, Right to Life, Clapham School, DuPage Precision Products, and a list of individuals.
"For Christians and many other pro-life advocates, Illinois' abortion-coverage mandate is fundamentally opposed to their religious beliefs and runs roughshod over their constitutionally protected conscience rights," explained Peter Breen, of the Thomas More Society.
"Gov. J.B. Pritzker and his administration are on an uncompromising campaign to transform the Land of Lincoln into the nation's abortion capital. In doing so, they have shown little regard for the rights of those who believe that all human life is worth protecting. We are proud to represent this coalition of clients in challenging this unconscionable mandate. There's no reason for pro-life individuals and organizations to be denied the option to choose an insurance policy that exempts them from covering others' elective abortions."
The problem facing the governor is that the case alleges he is violating the U.S. Constitution in his abortion promotion.
The filing in U.S. district court in Illinois explains Pritzker's plan "requires health-insurance policies to cover elective abortions on the same terms as they cover pregnancy-related benefits. It also requires health insurance policies to cover abortion-inducing drugs, and it forbids insurers to impose any cost-sharing arrangements such as co-pays or deductibles on this coverage."
"These abortion-inducing drugs must be provided free of charge to any beneficiary who demands them, and they are paid for entirely by premiums charged to other beneficiaries. These compulsory abortion-coverage laws provide no exceptions or accommodations for employers or individuals who object to abortion on religious or moral grounds, not even for churches," the filing states.
"As a result, Illinois residents who oppose abortion have no way of obtaining state-regulated health insurance that excludes abortion coverage, forcing many of them to choose between paying for other people's elective abortions with their premiums or forgoing health insurance entirely."
The Thomas More Society filing states, "Illinois's compulsory abortion-coverage laws abridge the free exercise of religion and other constitutional rights secured by the First and Fourteenth Amendments. They also violate numerous federal statutes…"
In an announcement about the launch of the case, the Thomas More Society explained, "The complaint asks the court to block state officials from enforcing these abortion-coverage mandates, which violate the free exercise and expressive association rights guaranteed by the First Amendment, as well as numerous federal statutes."
Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America, noted, "If billionaire Gov. J.B. Pritzker wants to pay for abortions in his state out of the generosity of his heart, that can be his choice. Instead, Pritzker and state officials have manipulated and supported a law to force all Illinois residents to cover his choice of abortion for them.
"When spending his money in the election, it was to get more radical abortion policies in place, to demand others to pay for abortion. Students for Life of America's team members and supporters in Illinois should not be forced to violate our consciences just because the abortion lobby and its cheerleaders like the governor have moved from 'choice' to coercion."
The case seeks to have enforcement of the abortion payments through insurance be voided and a declaration that such a scheme violates the U.S. Constitution.
The filing charges, "The defendants' enforcement of Illinois's compulsory abortion-law cover age laws violates each of the plaintiffs' constitutional right to freely exercise their religion."
Actor and environmental alarmist Harrison Ford was seen deplaning from a private jet Monday with his wife Calista Flockhart, Breitbart reported. Ford has called climate change the "greatest moral crisis of our time" and railed against those who deny the threat.
The "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" actor has been as outspoken about environmental issues as any Hollywood blowhard. Now, he and his wife were seen disembarking from a carbon-belching private plane in another spectacular demonstration of leftist hypocrisy.
Ford famously warned in 2020 that "this sh-- is going to kill us" during a rant on climate change. He also encouraged Greta Thunberg and other young people whom he said have become the "moral army" against it.
Advocacy
Ford is the vice chairman of Conservation International and has lent his voice to narrate several short films for them, including "The Most Critical Action" released in 2020. "Our world is facing huge challenges -- storms, floods, droughts, and fires are destroying our homes," Ford began, his voice gravelly with age and righteous outrage.
"A pandemic threatens our lives, is decimating our economies, and laying bare the depths of social inequality. The necessary foundation of our lives is a vital healthy natural world—our source of clean water, food and a stable climate," Ford's voiceover continued.
"We’re watching that foundation crumble," he added with a dramatic flair. The Oscar-winning actor went on to attack corporations that don't toe the line on environmental extremism and took shots at then-President Donald Trump, though he didn't mention him by name.
"We have people in leadership positions who refuse to accept objective science. They’re robbing us of the ability to collaborate, to compromise, to move forward," Ford warned.
Apparently, that all went out the window when it came to Ford's choice of transportation this week. However, this is more than a single oversight in an otherwise environmentally virtuous life.
Ford's Flying Hobby
The online aviation publication Simple Flying featured Ford and his collection of aircraft, which he enjoys piloting himself. "He owns an impressive range of aircraft in his collection, with vintage aircraft, a helicopter, private jets and general aviation aircraft, he can certainly take his pick when he wants to fly," the publication notes.
Ford has eight aircraft, including a World War II plane, a helicopter, and his Cessna Citation Sovereign 680 twin-engine private airplane. It's unclear if the plane spotted Tuesday is one in his collection.
Still, the fact that Ford would ever fly private over commercial is bad news for the climate concerned. According to a report by the Transport & Environment organization, "private jets are 5 to 14 times more polluting than commercial planes (per passenger), and 50 times more polluting than trains."
While Ford is in hysterics with his Chicken Little warnings in these voiceovers, he's living his life as if none of it matters. He's not alone in this hypocrisy, but that doesn't make it any better.
The reality is that either Ford doesn't believe the nonsense he's spewing, or he's another elitist who wants rules for others but not himself. Either way, he has humiliated himself and his family with this flagrant disregard for the very cause he claims to be so passionate about.
On Monday, during his last Group of 20 summit, the departing American president showed up for a family photo with other world leaders—only to discover that someone else had taken the shot.
A number of world leaders, including Xi Jinping of China, Narendra Modi of India, and Keir Starmer of the United Kingdom, were present and took part in the customary summit set piece, which included smiling and linking hands, as Breitbart News reported.
The blunder in Rio de Janeiro, according to a high-ranking American official, was due to problems with logistics.
From Biden Officials
“Due to logistical issues, they took the family photo early before all the leaders had arrived. So a number of leaders weren’t actually there when they took the photo,” said the senior official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.
Before the shot was taken, Biden was nowhere to be seen. Reporters and photographers started scrambling to find him.
Along with Italian Premier Giorgia Meloni and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, he was caught by one cameraman hiding behind a palm tree close by. Meloni and Trudeau were also absent from the picture.
Questions About Intention
The insider said, "It was just simply logistical issues" when asked if Biden purposefully avoided posing next to Sergei Lavrov, Russia's foreign minister, for the photo.
During Sunday's opening session of the summit, Biden discussed his upcoming resignation as president.
“As you know, this is my last G20 summit. We’ve made progress together, but I urge you to keep going -- and I’m sure you will, regardless of my urging or not,” he told fellow leaders.
More From An Aide
On Monday, a senior aide said many nations were expecting President-elect Donald Trump's different global leadership, but Biden remains in charge.
“We have a system, fundamentally, that’s predicated on one president at a time,” said Jon Finer, deputy national security adviser. “President Biden is that president; he will be handing off power in January, and it will be up to a new administration to decide what to do with it.”
In his own words, Biden acknowledged the limited time he has left in office on Sunday.
“It’s no secret that I’m leaving office in January,” he said. “I will leave my successor and my country a strong foundation to build on, if they choose to do so.”
About the G20
Attendees at the G20 conference include the top officials from 19 member nations and two regional organizations: the EU and the African Union.
The member nations comprise over two-thirds of the global population, about 85% of the global GDP, and over 75% of global trade, as stated by the forum.
In the wake of the Asian financial crisis in 1999, the G20 was formed to provide a platform for central bank officials and ministers of finance to deliberate on ways to stabilize the global economy.
Over time, it transformed into a summit of world leaders.
In a significant policy announcement, President-elect Donald Trump has declared his intention to use military resources to deport illegal immigrants, the Washington Examiner reported.
Following a post by journalist Tom Fitton, Trump confirmed plans to initiate a mass deportation program by declaring a national emergency.
Early Monday morning, through a post on Truth Social, Donald Trump made his intentions clear: to leverage the powers of a national emergency for mass deportations. This declaration aligns with the stringent immigration policies he championed during his presidential campaign.
Immediate Response to Judicial Watch President's Post
The catalyst for this announcement was a post from Tom Fitton, a journalist and the president of Judicial Watch. Fitton's message indicated that the incoming administration was ready to utilize military assets to enforce immigration laws vigorously.
Trump's reaction to Fitton's post was succinct yet affirmative, as he simply responded, "TRUE!!" on the same social media platform, underscoring his commitment to the described approach.
Details of the Deportation Strategy Revealed
Tom Homan, appointed as the "border czar" for the upcoming Trump administration, elaborated on the deportation plans.
His focus, he explained, would be on illegal immigrants who pose threats to public safety and national security.
Homan further stressed the importance of prioritizing immigrants who have already received deportation orders from federal immigration judges yet remain in the country.
Addressing Criticism and Enforcing Laws
During an interview on Fox & Friends, Homan addressed the criticism surrounding the deportation policies. He emphasized the legal processes in place, such as the right to claim asylum and the judicial hearings that follow.
He reiterated the necessity of enforcing deportation orders, questioning the point of the legal process if its outcomes are not respected. "What the hell are we doing?" he asked, highlighting the disconnect between judicial orders and their enforcement.
Public and Judicial Perspectives on Deportation
According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, approximately 1.3 million illegal immigrants currently in the U.S. have ignored their deportation orders.
The planned use of military resources for deportations has sparked a debate on the appropriateness and legality of such measures. Legal experts and immigration advocates are closely monitoring the developments, anticipating potential legal challenges to the emergency declaration.
Community and Legal Reactions Expected
Community leaders and legal analysts are gearing up for a robust response to the proposed deportation program. Many are concerned about the implications for families and the potential for increased fear among immigrant communities.
With the policy details now public, the administration faces both national and international scrutiny as it moves forward with its plans.

A community of thousands of Haitians dumped on a small and unsuspecting Ohio town now, apparently, is leaving. At least some of them.
WND previously has reported that the controversy in Springfield, Ohio, developed as a result of the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris open borders program.
Business owner Tim Boggs said he's been trying to help Christians escaping from the persecution in Cuba obtain legal status in the United States. But federal immigration officials have delayed movement on the problems, for as long as two years, to help Haitians.
The tens of thousands of Haitians in Springfield are part of the more than 300,000 Haitians who have arrived in the U.S. illegally, under the Biden-Harris regime.
The Democrats have given the illegal aliens permission to stay and work.
The issue in Springfield exploded into the headlines when there were allegations that the migrants were snatching up geese, cats, dogs and other small pets, and there were charges the community members were using some for food. Witnesses affirmed the activity, while others said it couldn't happen.
ABC and CNN "fact checked" the claim that there had been a surge in Haitian migrants, deeming it "not a problem" – while Ohio's Gov. Mike DeWine has earmarked $2.5 million to expand primary care access to everyone who lives in Springfield, and is sending in state troopers to get on top of the car wrecks being caused by unlicensed Haitian migrants.
There also has been created a list of dangerous driving by Haitians.
Other reports have stated Haitians are practicing voodoo, which includes animal sacrifice, during religious ceremonies, giving some credence to rumors Haitian migrants have been snatching up pets.
Now the Guardian is reporting Margery Kovaleski has spent years helping Haitians in Springfield comply with government red tape to establish their lives there.
Now Koveleski – whose family is Haitian – has noticed a major change recently. Haitians are now coming to her to figure out how to leave, the report explained.
"Some folks don't have credit cards or access to the internet, and they want to buy a bus ticket or a plane ticket, so we help them book a flight," she explained in an interview with the Guardian.
"People are leaving."
Leaders of the community's Haitian population have suggested they are fleeing over fears of being rounded up and deported, based on President-elect Donald Trump's election victory.
"The owner of one store is wondering if he should move back to New York or to Chicago – he says his business is way down," Koveleski said in the report.
Trump, in fact, has promised a secured border and a crackdown on the millions of illegal aliens already in the United States, including a move to end the special permission given some through a temporary protected status scheme.
That is the plan under which many Haitians in the U.S., including those in Springfield, live and work.
"A sheriff in Sidney, a town 40 miles (64km) north-west of Springfield that is home to several dozen Haitian immigrants, allegedly told local police in September to 'get a hold of these people and arrest them,'" the report explained.
And Jacob Payen, who has been helping Springfield Haitians, said, "People are fully aware of the election result, and that is why they are leaving; they are afraid of a mass deportation."
He said he knows those who have gone to New Jersey, Boston and even Canada.
Some are considering temporary residences in Brazil, through which they traveled on the path to the U.S.
The report reveals that even as the controversy is raging in the U.S., Haiti is enduring a renewed level of violence from politically connected gangs.
Port closures, gunfire, including shots hitting American jetliners, and more have developed there.
