There are multiple ways the nation could get relief from the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris extremism of electric vehicles.

The Democrat regime in Washington has insisted on destroying what it can of America's fossil fuels industry and instead pushes consumers to rely on electricity for everything, despite the fact Americans simply don't want and don't trust electric vehicles – and the nation's grid never could support widespread demand those cars would impose.

Experts recently told the Daily Caller News Foundation that the incoming administration of President-elect Donald Trump could make one change that would negate Biden's work: To determine that regulatory agencies do not have the legal authority to push the electrification of vehicles.

"The Trump administration's Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) could decide that the EPA has no authority under the Clean Air Act to mandate – to force – the electrification of the U.S. automobile fleet," Marlo Lewis, senior fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute, told the DCNF.

The EVs come with their problems for consumers: Heavy vehicles that can be dangerous in minor crashes, intense fires from burning batteries when accidents happen, poor travel range, especially in cold weather, and stupendous battery replacement costs after a few years.

But now a report in the Washington Examiner confirms that automobile companies are "revving up" to ask the Trump administration to hang on to Biden's rules and regulations.

"According to a report from the New York Times, the Biden administration's actions to boost domestic EV manufacturing may have already set the auto industry past the point of no return," the report said. "Following Biden's initiatives, automakers have already invested billions of dollars in transitioning to electric vehicles. If Trump were to scrap the initiative, major automakers fear they could be undercut by smaller manufacturers producing cheaper, internal combustion engine cars."

So, the report said, "Ford, General Motors, and Stellantis are lobbying to keep the mandates."

Option during registration for 'male,' 'female' or 'self-described': 'It is inappropriate to ask this question of young children and I have instructed that it is removed as swiftly as possible'

Parents are scolding schools across the United Kingdom for demanding they provide the "gender identity" of their 3-year-olds who are enrolling in primary classes.

And some government officials are admitting the process wasn't well thought out.

It is the Christian Institute that confirmed the primary school applications used by more than 100 local authorities over recent years demands parents select "man/boy/male" or "woman/girl/female" or a third option to "self-describe."

This agenda "has no place on the form with regard to 3-year-olds on any level," charged one concerned mother.

The report explained the form in use was "supplied by an external provider, but has been used for more than 550,000 students."

"I immediately investigated as the council does not want or need a question about gender identity on our school admissions form," admitted Martin Tell, the chief of the Buckinghamshire Council, explaining his actions when he found out.

"It is inappropriate to ask this question of young children and I have instructed that it is removed as swiftly as possible," he said.

Some immediately warned of the harm that could befall children.

"We must call out the public authorities who enable this, highlighting that they are actively promoting an ideology that results in irreversible harm for vulnerable children and adults," charged Caroline Ffiske, of Conservatives for Women.

The ideology of transgenderism also has run rampant in the United States under the White House leadership of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, who made it, along with abortion, a top goal for their administration.

The institute noted Maya Forstater, of woman's rights charity Sex Matters, explained, "Projecting the adult beliefs and concepts of transactive onto children is not only ludicrous but also harmful."

She continued, "Many parents will have been shocked by this question and will be concerned about the nonsense that may be taught to their child at school based on the admissions form alone."

The report noted another mother also voiced her objections to school officials, "We are telling small children something false – you get to choose your gender – and we are forcing a very dangerous ideology onto very young children, with no discussion with parents."

An insider has confirmed Democrat plans for a "shadow" government, or "shadow cabinet," that would have the goal of undermining America's elected president, Donald Trump.

"You are now starting to see spots of messaging of how they plan to challenge the agenda of President-elect Trump. Last week, one-term House Member Wiley Nickel, D-N.C., in what can only be described as a Democrat fever dream, proposed a 'shadow cabinet' which appears to be either a desperate attempt to retain power or secure his place as a talking head on whatever is left of mainstream media," explained Ami Sanchez, a life-long Democrat, in a commentary at Human Events.

"There are Left-wing organizations forming and a network of existing organizations picking up the 'shadow government' banner and calling for opposition to the agenda of Trump while making plans to defeat him before he even takes office."

WND had reported earlier on plans by Nickel, who did not seek reelection and is leaving Congress, for the "shadow" operations and operatives.

Social media commenters wondered, "This sounds like a threat to our democracy," and "Just start your own damn country why don't ya?"

Also, "Treason," and "This guy needs to be arrested for inciting division in Congress."

A report at the Gateway Pundit, which reposted the Nickel comments, said, "Democrats and Trump-haters in the DC Swamp went to great lengths to hide their efforts to destroy President Trump, his family, individuals associated with his campaign, his top administration officials, and eventually, his supporters from 2016 to October 2024. This time around, Democrats apparently aren't going to hide their plans to thwart the President and his administration."

It called the video, previously posted by independent journalist Kyle Becker, "disturbing."

Nickel proposed Sen. Adam Schiff as a shadow attorney general, Rep. Jahanna Hayes as shadow education secretary, Rep. Greg Meeks as shadow secretary of state, and more.

The Gateway Pundit said, "They are trying to form a "shadow government" to defy and undermine President Trump's authority. The Democratic Party is trying to lead an unconstitutional 'insurrection' against Trump."

Nickel did not run for re-election this year, and his seat quickly was snapped up by a Republican.

At Human Events, Sanchez confessed to being "a former Democrat Senate staffer and a former campaign junkie who has spent time working for and with Left-wing grassroots organizations and causes for 15 years."

She voted, this year, for Donald Trump "because I believe in his ability to dismantle government bureaucracy, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure federal agencies so that they cannot be used as a weapon against American citizens."

And she warns leftists "have been working. Behind the scenes, they have been organizing, ready to defeat a Trump administration agenda."

She also pointed to leftist tech companies "like Movement Labs" as part of the scheming to fight expected plans that would require federal employees to do their jobs, and just that.

"In other words, they believed that agencies and civil servants working within those agencies would be required to do their jobs, and would no longer be allowed to use their positions towards their own ends or the ends of their party," the commentary said.

She said there also are state-level activists, such as leftist Colorado's leftist Gov. Jared Polis, who is part of a new "Governors Safeguarding Democracy" ideology.

A historic counterrevolution in public education is occurring in Texas. In an 8-7 vote, with three Republican members voting no, the Texas State Board of Education approved a new reading/language arts curriculum that jettisons Marxist ideology and returns to the traditional model that was highly successful in educating our ancestors and founders. Dubbed Bluebonnet Learning, the printed curriculum for grades K-5 is integrated with history, science, literature, art, culture, and religion as a foundational tool for history and literature.

For decades a quiet American revolution has been waged with education as a primary change agent. Public schools gradually dumbed down the curricula, normalized radical sex, discredited the family, banned all religious expression that supposedly violates the principle of "separation of church and state," discredited our founders, discouraged the teaching of American history,y and discredited American culture. The result has been ignorant, violent, and mentally destabilized students who loathe America and support socialism.

The communist attack on public education has had a devastating effect on academic achievement. From colonials who were the most literate people in the world, today our workforce is the dumbest in the industrialized world. In Texas, 19% of adults are lacking in literacy skills, placing the state at 46th out of 50. Nationally, 21% of Americans are lacking in literacy skills. The low literacy rate has impacted personal lives and income while annually costing our national economy $2.2 trillion.

Critics argue that Bluebonnet is too rigorous. With the dumbing down of academic content has come lowered public – including teacher – expectations for student achievement. Critics claim Bluebonnet's engaging stories in listening, spelling, and reading lessons are not age appropriate – 7 and 8-year-old children apparently should be reading about "puppies, kitties and birds." Compare this low level of expectation for public school students with private classical schools in Texas where children begin the study of Latin at age 6.

The problem of Texas illiteracy can be reversed by the rigorous lessons in Bluebonnet Learning. As Texas goes, so goes the nation. With 22 states already having expressed an interest in the free open source curriculum, America again can become a highly literate nation – critical if we are to Make America Great Again.

The most intense opposition to the new curriculum has been over the inclusion of religion. Critics charge that the lessons violate the "separation clause" of the Constitution, except that the phrase does not exist, only a ban on an official state-sponsored church.

Under U.S. law, public schools cannot endorse a specific religion or provide religious instruction, but they can teach religion in the context of history and other related subjects. Under Texas law, school districts must teach "religious literature, including the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament) and New Testament, and its impact on history and literature."

Opponents claim that lessons proselytize for Christianity and devote more time to it than to other faiths. They ignore that America's founding documents were Judeo-Christian. Do they believe that countries, where Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, or Islam are predominant, would allow Christianity to be included in their school curriculum?

Although critics claim the "Bible-infused" lessons are unconstitutional, they miss the point that the Bible is the most widely read book in the world with the English language and Western thought and culture infused with concepts, phrases, and allusions directly from the Bible.

Even Ivy League professors who tend leftward admit that, without some knowledge of the Bible as a foundational text, students are at a great disadvantage in comprehending Western and American literature. Learning to read is more complicated than whether phonics or whole language is employed. If students are to comprehend what they are reading, they must possess some background knowledge and context of the reading passage. People of all faiths daily use biblical references – see eye to eye, sour grapes, feet of clay, writing is on the wall, go the extra mile, to cast pearls before swine, straight and narrow, wolves in sheep's clothing, a house divided against itself cannot stand, salt of the earth, fall by the wayside, the blind leading the blind, flesh and blood, sign of the times and many others.

Although the fight over religious curriculum is supposed to be a constitutional violation, advocates of "religious freedom" are saying out loud what they fear most – that a conservative Christian movement is sweeping the nation. Texas was the first state to allow public schools to hire religious chaplains as school counselors. The Republican-controlled legislature has tried to require public school classrooms to display the Ten Commandments and likely will try again.

At the national level, the conservative Christian coalition will have power at the highest levels of all three branches of government. Alongside Trump in the White House, Vice President-elect J.D. Vance, a Catholic, will elevate the traditionalist vision of family life. In Congress, House Speaker Mike Johnson's political vision is through an evangelical lens. The Supreme Court, with Trump's three nominees, is expected to further strengthen religious rights.

To understand why revolutionaries for the overthrow of the U.S. have targeted education and religion, one must consider the vision of our founders. John Adams thought that education was vital for the preservation of rights and liberties. Thomas Jefferson held that the surest prevention of tyranny was to educate the masses. With Bluebonnet Learning, students will learn about our founding – that "all men are created equal," found in our Declaration of Independence, is related to the Magna Carta that was inspired by Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. They will learn why the Sermon on the Mount is the key building block of Western civilization.

John Adams said, "Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people." Through classroom activities and biblical stories about the Golden Rule, the Good Samaritan, and the Sermon on the Mount, students are taught moral values and positive character traits.

Those who clamor for the downfall of America have much to fear with Bluebonnet Learning and the rigorous traditional education it will restore to our public schools.

Few would argue that no one should face discrimination for being, or not being, white or black or Hispanic, or young or old, or male or female, or for having ancestors from England or Japan, or for being born in Texas or North Dakota.

But amid the new leftist schemes to provide special protections based on gender ideology and such, there's one state lawmaker going even further.

Washington State Rep. Mia Gregerson, a Democrat, has a plan pending that would make being homeless a protected status.

That would be so they are protected from "discrimination based on housing status."

It is the Post Millennial that is reporting that Gregerson's plan proposes, "[M]any communities within Washington are enacting and enforcing laws that disproportionately impact homelessness or make living in public a crime. These laws are potentially unconstitutional, make it harder for people to exit homelessness, do not solve the underlying problem of homelessness, and waste precious public funds."

Her agenda apparently is in response to a U.S. Supreme Court decision that said the Constitution allows a city to enforce public camping ordinances, such as bans on camping on public property in some locations and at some times.

One Washington town, Burien, that started enforcing its ban on camping in public places, a move that the county had tried to halt.

"Other municipalities, including, Everett, Washington, began enacting similar policies such as its new Service Facility Buffer Zone, also known as a No Sit, No Lie Zone in its downtown near a local children's museum," the report said.

The bill would grant homeless "the right to survive in a nonobstructive manner" on public property, to include parking lots, sidewalks, parks, courtyards, even public transportation and highway medians and shoulders.

People living in RVs could stay wherever the vehicle is parked.

The camping limits got their impetus from a case in 2021, when a homeless meth addict was arrested after attempting to rape a county employee inside a women's bathroom at the King County courthouse, the report said.

Staying on public lands would be allowed when "that person has no reasonable alternative but to survive in public space and existing shelter facilities within the local government's jurisdiction are inadequate in number or are functionally inaccessible," the report said.

I thought everyone knew this story, but it seems I'm wrong. Most of us are products of the public school system, after all, so I'm not surprised it isn't better known. So let's have a little history lesson, shall we?

Thanksgiving, we've all been taught, came about because the Pilgrims had a bumper harvest after a couple of bad years. Overcome with gratitude toward "the universe," they participated in "diversity" by inviting the Native Americans to share several days of feasting.

This is all most of us learned about the origins of Thanksgiving. But that, to paraphrase Paul Harvey, is nowhere near the rest of the story.

What was the reason behind the disastrous harvests that nearly wiped out the fledgling Plymouth colony? Was it climate change? Student loan debt? Lack of universal health care?

No, it was socialism.

Disillusioned by the greed and materialistic lifestyles of the English upper class – and persecuted unmercifully for their religious convictions – a group of Separatists departed England for Holland in 1607 and spent 12 years in that gentle and welcoming land. However, the younger generation of Separatist children began drifting away from the strict ideals of their elders toward the more worldly and relaxed Dutch lifestyle. Desperate to escape the contaminating influence of their adopted country, and fearful for the state of their children's souls, once more the group packed up and left. This time they aimed to colonize the New World.

After weeks at sea, these Pilgrims arrived at a bad time of year – December – so all they could do was brace themselves and hunker down. It was a winter of great hardship and hunger, but also a time to dream about the possibilities incumbent in this new land. When spring came, they had a chance to put into practice the pure ideals they envisioned while in England and Holland.

"Their vision of the New World," noted Matthew Burke, "was to build a society constructed on a new foundation of communal sharing and social altruism. Their aim was based on the communism of Plato's 'Republic,' in which there would be no private property and all work, and the harvest thereof, would be shared in common."

Things did not – to put it mildly – go according to plan. As Gov. William Bradford noted in his diary, the result was famine and starvation "both physically and spiritually."

But why? What could interfere with such lofty and idealistic goals? After all, the Pilgrims were striving "to move to a point where people can work in common for the common good and get back what they need to live a life worthy of human beings," to quote Carl Dix of the Revolutionary Communist Party USA.

The answer is simple: human nature.

The young and healthy men resented working uncompensated for other people. The strong reaped nothing from any extra work they did, and so had the same amount as those less fit for work. "This was thought injustice," according to Bradford. The women, called upon to provide "service for other men, as dressing their meat, washing their clothes, etc. they deemed it a kind of slavery, neither could their husbands brook it."

In other words, this happy little experiment in socialism failed miserably. It did more than fail: It led the colony toward horrible starvation in a land of plenty.

So the Pilgrims scrapped the whole communal shebang and started from scratch. Everyone was issued a parcel of land. It was up to each family to work that land. They were not responsible for their neighbor's failures; nor could they claim any of their neighbor's successes. In other words, they quite literally reaped what they sowed. "The women now went willingly into the field and took their little ones with them to set corn, which before would [allege] weakness, and inability. …" related Bto radford's diary.

The harsh lesson was that socialism is "antithetical with the human nature and spirit. It results in shortages, poverty, resentment, and slavery," notes Burke. It also results in laziness, an entitlement mentality, and an unwillingness to get off one's butt. After all, what's the motivation to work harder if the fruits of your labor are forcibly removed and given to someone who will not work?

The result of this practical expression of 2 Thessalonians 3:10 was an unprecedented harvest and a spiritual swelling of gratitude. The Pilgrims were moved by compassion to voluntarily share with those less fortunate. Thus everyone prospered.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the foundation for our modern Thanksgiving: an utter rejection of socialism, and embracing the natural desire to keep what you've worked for.

You see, no matter how many times socialism has been tried and has failed – over and over and over again – there are elements in our modern society who are sure this time it will be different. This time people will give up their evil, selfish, materialistic ways and embrace each other in love and harmony. We'll sing Kumbaya while holding hands around a communal fire. What's mine is yours and what's yours is mine. Golly, that sounds swell.

But humans are not like that. Those who believe socialism will transform us into mindless happy Kumbaya-singing drones cannot understand that people aren't interested in being eternally "caring" and "compassionate" if it's done without freedom, liberty, or choice. Only by giving people the chance to succeed or fail on their own – and to keep the fruits of their labor – will prosperity and generosity occur.

The first Thanksgiving happened because people were allowed to be "selfish." The irony today is the Democrats want to regulate or even make illegal the very things that pulled the Pilgrims out of their desolate, starving mess: individual initiative, "selfish" behavior, and strong faith in God.

Thanksgiving is not just about giving thanks for our bounty. It's also about celebrating the fact that only by embracing individual freedom did that bounty come about.

A happy and "selfish" Thanksgiving to you all.

In Rod Serling's famous television series, "The Twilight Zone," there was a fascinating episode called "What You Need" (Season 1, Episode 12, Dec. 25, 1959), based on a 1945 short story of the same name by Lewis Padgett. It told the story of a kind, elderly neighborhood street peddler, Mr. Pedott, who had the uncanny ability to provide his customers with just what they needed shortly before it was needed.

Pedott enters a nearby bar, where he first gives a woman at the counter a small bottle of cleaning fluid from his case. Then he gives an unemployed former Chicago Cubs pitcher a bus ticket to Scranton, Pennsylvania. Moments later, the baseball player receives a call on the bar's pay phone offering a coaching position for a minor league team in Scranton. His excitement is diminished when he notices a spot on his jacket. He wished he could remove it so that he might look his best when he met his new employers in Scranton. The woman offers to use the cleaning fluid she received from Pedott to scrub it out. Later in the episode, Pedott was provided with what he needed to save his life from the murderous intent of a small-time crook seeking to exploit him.

Pedott's gift of providing people with what they need at the proper time is a reminder of God's timely provision for the needs of His children for their benefit. This is true at all times, but especially in trying times.

After the death of his father, Omri, Ahab (874–853 B.C.) became king of Israel and followed his evil example. Encouraged by his Phoenician wife Jezebel, he led Israel more than all the kings before him into rebellion against God through the worship of Baal (1 Kings 16:28-33).

Because of the unfaithfulness of the leadership and the nation, God sent the prophet Elijah to tell King Ahab that rain would not fall. For more than three years, severe famine plagued the land, and an angry and desperate Ahab sought to find Elijah, even earnestly seeking him in other nations (1 Kings 18:1-18).

During this terrible time, God protected Elijah and provided him with what he needed at the proper time (1 Kings 17). He told him to hide east of the Jordan River by a small brook called Cherith, where he would have water to drink. The Lord also sent ravens in the morning and evening to bring him bread and meat.

When the brook dried up due to the drought, God sent Elijah to stay at a widow's home in the Phoenician city of Zerephath, where he lodged in the room on the roof accessible from outside the house. When he arrived, he asked her for some water and bread, but she revealed her desperate poverty. She told him that all she had was a handful of flour and a little oil that she was going to prepare, along with a few sticks, for herself and her son as their last meal.

Elijah told her to make a bread cake for him first, then make one for herself and her son, prophesying that as long as the drought and famine continued, the Lord would make sure that neither the flour nor the oil ran out. On another occasion, when her son became sick and died, the Lord, through Elijah, restored his life. So God provided the widow and her son with what they needed at the proper time: sustenance and life, which strengthened their faith in the God of Israel.

A man encouraged by this biblical account was Christian evangelist and pastor George Müller (1805–1898), who, with his wife, established orphanages in Bristol, England.

Müller was in continual prayer and dependent on God's provision through donors for food, clothing, and money. One of many documented examples of this was a time when the children were sitting around the breakfast table, though there was nothing to eat in the house. As they finished thanking God for His provision, the baker knocked on the door with enough fresh bread to feed everyone, and the milkman gave them plenty of fresh milk because his cart had broken down in front of the orphanage.

Throughout his ministry, the Lord provided Müller with what he needed when he needed it to care for and educate more than 10,000 orphans. He never solicited financial support, nor did he go into debt. Every morning after breakfast, there was a time for Bible reading and prayer. The children were well nourished, dressed,d and educated, preparing them for a godly, productive life.

As many of us struggle to make ends meet in this environment of increasing costs for food, fuel, clothing, health care, and other essentials, we may be tempted to forget God's ability to provide for our needs and lose hope.

The Lord Jesus said these words in a country ruled by the Roman Empire, which imposed oppressive taxes that impoverished most of its people:

"Do not worry then, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear for clothing?' For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." (Matthew 6:31-33, emphasis added.)

The prophet Elijah, the widow of Zerephath and her son, George Müller, and countless other faithful through the centuries who lived through challenging and dreadful times found their trust in the Lord justified and strengthened in His timely provision for their needs (Philippians 4:6-19).

Have faith in God through His Son Jesus Christ, and seek His righteousness, not your own, to be reconciled with Him. Famine, financial hardship, oppressive rulers, war, or any other severe circumstances cannot prevent Him from providing what you need when you need it and taking you home to His kingdom, where want is no more (Revelation 7:9-17).

World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus was briefly hospitalized with "symptoms of labyrinthitis and a hypertensive crisis" on Wednesday, Breitbart reported. Tedros, 59, was in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for the G20 summit when it occurred.

Tedros was experiencing symptoms consistent with labyrinthitis, an infection of the inner ear that may cause dizziness and vertigo. He underwent "necessary tests," which ultimately found "no signs of seriousness" that would require further action.

The WHO chief was kept overnight for observation and given medication to help with his hypertension. By Thursday, Tedros was released and "back to work," he said in a statement.

"I felt unwell yesterday afternoon and was admitted to Samaritano Barra Hospital in Rio, but I was discharged this morning and am back to work," Tedros said, according to Reuters. During the summit, Tedros met with President Joe Biden and other world leaders to discuss health issues facing the world, including hypertension.

Widespread Crisis

The WHO released its report on Sept. 19, 2023, outlining the health crisis caused by hypertension. "Most heart attacks and strokes in the world today can be prevented with affordable, safe, accessible medicines and other interventions, such as sodium reduction," Michael R. Bloomberg, WHO Global Ambassador for Noncommunicable Diseases and Injuries, said in the report.

"Treating hypertension through primary health care will save lives, while also saving billions of dollars a year," Bloomberg said of the initiative. Tedros also revealed that he suffered from high blood pressure while touting the new report at the time.

"Hypertension is one of the leading causes of death and disability worldwide, affecting 1 in 3 adults – including me. I am fortunate that I was diagnosed early and have access to good medical care," Tedros said in his remarks in a video shared on Instagram.

"Unfortunately, the same is not true for the majority of those with hypertension, especially for those in lower-income countries and communities. Today, at [the United Nations General Assembly], we launched the first-ever hypertension report," Tedros said.

Other Notable Happenings

Aside from Tedros' mild health crisis, there were other notable incidents at the summit. One of those occurred during the so-called "family photo" traditionally snapped of attendees.

According to the Associated Press, Biden missed the traditional group photo, which "left Chinese President Xi Jinping front and center," the news outlet noted. Also missing was Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who came over to the group after the photo had already been snapped.

A Biden staffer who was not at liberty to speak publicly about it said the oversight came down to "logistical issues." This will be the last time Biden attends the summit as president.

The G20 summit brings together leaders like Biden, Trudeau, and Tedros under the guise of solving the world's problems. Issues from geopolitical conflicts to health topics are discussed and workshopped.

Unfortunately, it's also often an excuse to impose more control and big government on the world. While these meetings likely yield some goodwill among nations, the players typically want more control over ordinary citizens as the answer to all of the issues raised.

The Biden administration acted like it was cracking down on illegal immigration before the election, but now, it seems to be quietly loosening all of the restrictions and trying to get as many migrants into the country as possible.

In New York City, Biden plans to start using an ICE Portal app that will allow illegal immigrants to skip in-person meetings and just check in online.

Sources at the DHS say the software is not reliable and often glitches, allowing migrants to escape authorities.

In addition, the app does not check for previous arrests or outstanding warrants, which is part of the in-person check-in process.

Democrats' ambitions

Another initiative from the administration allows migrants to contest orders to be tracked electronically while they wait for their asylum hearings.

In reality, most of the migrants that have been let in by the Biden administration don't qualify for asylum and could quickly have been evaluated and turned away at the border.

But that wouldn't accomplish the administration's goals to bring in millions of new potential Democrat voters--if they could have gained enough power to give them amnesty and make them citizens as they hoped to do.

Trump's election has thrown a monkey wrench into their plans and they are scrambling to make it as hard as possible for him to deport all the illegal immigrants they let in over the last four years.

An "obstructionist transition"

“A lot of lawsuits get filed, maybe frivolously, but it just kind of stalls what the administration wants to do,” one DHS source said.

“This is an obstructionist transition,” former acting Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Mark Morgan said.

“What they’re trying to do in the last final day, they’re going to try to put up as many roadblocks and obstacles and throw as many grenades as they can on their way out.”

In New York, the ICE office is already "fully booked through October 2032" for appointments to process migrants, and many of them are now roaming the streets freely with no supervision.

A source familiar with the administration's plans said, "What it is doing is creating a lot of burdensome administrative paperwork justifying what they’re doing now. I can tell you a lot of employees would just look at this is this is too much work. Most cases, they’ll just terminate them from the program and not have to go through the appeal process."

Trump is adamant about fixing the crisis, despite these challenges. We will see what the next four years bring.

The news that Vince and Linda McMahon are no longer together was recently disclosed in a Washington Post article that was published this morning.

The article was a profile of Linda McMahon. In a statement, Laura Brevetti, who represents Mrs. McMahon, confirmed the news of the couple's separation, as The Daily Mail reported.

The news that President-elect Trump had declared that he had selected Ms. McMahon as his choice for Secretary of Education in his upcoming cabinet came just a few hours after the announcement was made public.

Neither of the McMahons has ever made a public announcement regarding their marriage or their divorce before.

Marital History

According to a report that appeared in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter in 2022, Vince and Linda had separated but had not ended their marriage. Neither of the McMahons made any comments regarding the report at that time.

With the exception of the initial confirmation, no other information was provided concerning the separation, nor was it specified how long the McMahons have been apart together.

From 1980 to 2009, Linda McMahon served as the Chief Executive Officer of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Prior to that, she was the administrator of the Small Business Administration during the first Clinton administration, starting in 2017. She resigned from her position in 2019 to take the helm of America First Action, a super PAC that supports Trump.

Other Positions

McMahon is also the chairperson of the America First Policy Institute, which is a think organization that supports Trump.

TKO Group Holdings was formerly led by Vince McMahon, who also served as the company's Executive Chairman. In January, after a lawsuit that had been filed by Janel Grant became public, he resigned from his position at the corporation.

Grant, who worked for WWE between the years of 2019 and 2022, has filed a lawsuit against Mr. McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and the entertainment business as a whole.

All of the charges have been refuted by Mr. McMahon. In addition, Mr. Laurinaitis has indicated that he was a victim and has denied any misconduct that may have occurred.

The Appointment

McMahon was nominated by President-elect Donald Trump for the position of Secretary of Education in a statement issued just days ago.

“It is my great honor to announce that Linda McMahon, former Administrator of the Small Business Administration, will be the United States Secretary of Education," the President-elect wrote in a statement, posted to his Truth Social account.

"For the past four years, as the Chair of the Board at the America First Policy Institute (AFPI), Linda has been a fierce advocate for Parents’ Rights, working hard at both AFPI and America First Works (AFW) to achieve Universal School Choice in 12 States, giving children the opportunity to receive an excellent Education, regardless of zip code or income. As Secretary of Education, Linda will fight tirelessly to expand ‘Choice’ to every State in America, and empower parents to make the best Education decisions for their families.”
