Rev. Michael Blake, a former aide to President Barack Obama, will run for mayor of New York City in 2025, the New York Post reported. Blake blasted Adams over legal woes and his friendliness toward the "incoming fascist president," Donald Trump.

Blake is the vice chair of the Democratic National Committee and was a New York assemblyman from 2015 to 2021. The 41-year-old also ran unsuccessful campaigns for the House of Representatives and city public advocate.

Now, he joins the crowded field of hopefuls looking to unseat Adams. With his twin ambition to become chairman of the DNC, Blake posted to X, formerly Twitter, last week, "NYC. DNC. A New Day is coming."

Blake's Pitch

Blake's background includes a stint on Obama's public engagement team and other positions, though he has yet to clinch a role as high profile as the mayor's office. Instead, he railed against Adams over his federal indictment after allegedly taking bribes and campaign violations, court documents say.

Adams also has been accused of accepting "improper benefits" from a Turkish diplomat in exchange for favors from the city. "We deserve a leader who won’t have headlines about investigations but rather have headlines about jobs," Blake said of Adams.

"Never forget that on Nov. 2 of last year, when Mayor Adams literally landed in Washington, DC, for a meeting at the White House to address the migrant situation, he turned back around because his fundraiser was being raided. He decided that it was more important to protect himself than protect you," Blake went on.

Aside from the pending charges, Blake also hammered Adams on his friendliness to Trump. Blake said he will be a force against the "incoming fascist president" as opposed to Adams, who has been "literally spending every possible day" cozying up to Trump.

"Unlike Mayor Adams, I won’t use my Saturday nights trying to be close to him in a UFC fight, but I’ll actually use my nights to make sure that you are safe and secure," Blake promised. Adams had a brief exchange with Trump at Madison Square Garden earlier this month.

Competition

Blake has promised to entice businesses back to New York City with tax incentives. He's also committed to universal child care, which is typically a concept of the far left.

Others who have thrown their name in include Democratic NYC Comptroller Brad Lander, who similarly pledges many handouts and destructive leftist policies. He claims "democracy is in peril" because of Trump and plans to "fight back against any authoritarian attempts to rip away the rights of women, LGBTQIA+, immigrants, people of color, Jews, Muslims, or any other New Yorkers."

Attorney Jim Walden, who is running as an independent, sent shockwaves on Monday when his kick-off included former New York Gov. David Paterson. Until very recently, Paterson publicly defended Adams through his indictment.

Not only is he going against him, but Paterson is doing so for what many consider a long-shot candidate. "I don’t know what he’s thinking," an unnamed operative told the Post. It's likely several more announcements from other candidates are forthcoming.

New York is a deep blue city, and a more radical choice could very well throw out Adams. Unfortunately, that means the problems plaguing the city will only get worse.

In a significant step towards a smooth transition, President-elect Donald Trump has inked a critical agreement with the outgoing Biden administration.

President-elect Trump's recent signing of a memorandum of understanding marks a formal commencement of transition processes with President Joe Biden's administration, The Hill reported

The memorandum, signed three weeks after Trump's election night victory, encompasses detailed plans for the incoming administration, including preliminary measures for Trump's Cabinet nominees and the deployment of landing teams across federal departments.

Susie Wiles, Trump's appointed chief of staff, emphasized the importance of this early collaboration. "This engagement allows our intended Cabinet nominees to begin critical preparations, including the deployment of landing teams to every department and agency, and complete the orderly transition of power," she stated.

Understanding the Transition Process

The agreement outlines that the transition will proceed without utilizing taxpayer funds or government buildings, relying instead on private donations. However, the identities of these donors will be disclosed to the public soon, ensuring transparency and confirming that foreign contributions are excluded.

Another critical aspect yet to be finalized is the handling of background checks and ethics agreements. The Trump team has not signed similar memorandums with the Justice Department concerning these checks or the resolution of potential conflicts of interest, despite ongoing discussions.

Historically, such agreements are vital for ensuring that all appointees are vetted for security and ethical standards. The Biden administration has been pressing for these agreements since September, emphasizing their necessity for national security and governmental integrity.

Controversies and Concerns Addressed

Concerns have been raised by figures such as Senator Elizabeth Warren about the absence of these critical memorandums. The Trump team's decision to bypass the FBI for conducting background checks has also been a point of contention.

These concerns highlight the delicate balance the Trump team must manage between maintaining an efficient transition and adhering to established ethical and security protocols. The existing Ethics Plan, which will be made public via the General Services Administration website, is meant to address some of these concerns.

The White House has been active in facilitating this process. A notable meeting on November 13th between President Biden and President-elect Trump underscored the importance of adhering to these protocols.

High-Level Meetings Push Transition Forward

Following this, on November 19th, White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients met with Susie Wiles to discuss the urgent need for signing the necessary memoranda. These meetings are part of a broader effort to ensure a seamless transition of power.

White House spokesperson Saloni Sharma provided a stark choice regarding the transition. "The fact is that on January 20 at 12 pm, President Trump and his team will be in seats. We have 2 options," Sharma explained.

"Option one is no transition, potentially risking the security of the American people and our country," she continued. "Option two is to conduct a smooth transition with safeguards in the White House MOU to protect non-public information and prevent conflicts of interest. Option two is the responsible course and in the best interest of the American people."

This proactive approach by the Trump team, despite the challenges, signals a commitment to upholding democratic norms and ensuring that the transfer of power occurs with the utmost responsibility and care.

Legendary screenwriter and director Jim Abrahams, whose zany wit elicited laughs in comedy spoofs like Airplane! and The Naked Gun, has died. He was 80.

The comedy legend died of natural causes at his home in Santa Monica, California, his son told the Hollywood Reporter.

'Airplane!' writer dies

Part of a writing team that included childhood friends Jerry and David Zucker, Abrahams had his first feature film in 1977 with the sketch comedy The Kentucky Fried Movie (1977), directed by John Landis - who went on to win fame with Animal House.

Taking inspiration from Mel Brooks, the "Zucker, Abrahams, and Zucker" trio emphasized parody, slapstick, and sight gags to create absurd, silly comedy.

A trademark of their style was the use of dramatic actors to create comedic effects. No actor embodied that dynamic better than Leslie Nielsen, who had his breakthrough in the disaster spoof Airplane! (1980).

Nielsen delivers the iconic reply, "I am serious. And don't call me Shirley," a joke that is so famous, the punchline stands on its own.

The movie starred Peter Graves, Lloyd Bridges, Robert Stack and Leslie Nielsen, who were known as dramatic actors on TV.

“The biggest struggle was to cast straight actors as opposed to comedians,” Abrahams said in a 2019 interview.

“At first, Paramount was resistant to that idea. They didn’t quite understand why we wanted to do something like that. There was something very endearing about those four actors spoofing themselves in the movie. In essence, they had had full careers, and they were kind of having a laugh at their own expense.”

Legendary writing team

After Airplane, the Abrahams-Zucker-Abrahams created a short-lived crime parody, Police Squad. The 1982 show lasted only one season, but it earned Emmy nominations and introduced Nielsen in the role of the bumbling detective Frank Drebin.

Over the course of the 1980s, the "ZAZ" team continued to delight audiences in Top Secret! (1984) Ruthless People (1986) and especially The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! (1988) and its sequels, featuring Nielsen in the role of Drebin.

The writing team honed their style in the 1970s, when many comedians were focused on political subjects. ZAZ took a less serious approach - and the results were rewarding.

“There were a bunch of groups in that era who were making political jokes, and there were lots of easy, obvious targets,” Abrahams said. “But that was just never our instinct. Our instinct was always to watch a movie and say, ‘Isn’t’ that silly?'”

Abrahams is survived by his on Joseph, his wife, Nancy Cocuzzo, his daughter, Jamie another son, Charlie, and his grandchildren, Caleb, James and Isaac.

As Donald Trump prepares for a historic return to Washington D.C., many are crediting his low-key son Barron as the "secret weapon" to the president-elect's success.

Barron has long been kept out of the political spotlight, with his father first entering the White House when Barron was just a child. Like his mother Melania, he is seen as an enigmatic and silent figure, creating intrigue about his private life and aspirations.

Barron "secret weapon"

As Barron continues to maintain a low profile, he has been credited with helping to make his father "cool" among young voters who put him over the top in the election.

The college freshman is studying business at New York University, where he is commuting to class from his family's Trump Tower residence.

"It's Barron's mystique that does it," one social media user wrote of his appeal. Another added: "Barron is his dad's secret weapon. He helped him win the votes."

In particular, Barron has been praised for connecting his 78-year-old father with popular "bro" podcasters like Joe Rogan.

"Recognizing the growing influence of online media on younger voters, Barron recommended that his dad embrace new forms of communication, that his dad went on popular podcasts and shows that would resonate with Gen Z and millennial audiences," a source told the Irish Star.

The mounting public interest in Barron comes as his father's approval ratings have surged - with many labeling President-elect Trump "cool" as his famous "Trump dance" is widely adopted in popular culture.

The pro-Trump culture shift has also impacted Barron's popularity, as TikTok remixes featuring a young Slovenian-accented Barron take the internet by storm.

"The sleeper"

Barron's sister-in-law Lara Trump, the wife of his half-brother Eric, called Barron a significant influence on his father during a recent interview.

“He’s so cool. That’s like the one word I’d use for Barron. He’s very cool. He’s like the sleeper a little bit. He’s kind of stayed out of the spotlight, probably intentionally," she said.

During the campaign, Barron would offer his own ideas on how his father could get votes, Lara said, piling praise on the young, reserved man - who bears a striking resemblance to his father.

“He’s always throwing ideas out there,” Lara said. “We’ve got to give Barron some serious credit.”

"He’s his father’s son, there’s no doubt about it, and he’s going to do really incredible things.”

U.S. Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., has established a reputation for turning a phrase or two about Washington's politics, the Deep State, Democrats, and much more.

For example, when Joe Biden fared poorly in a presidential race debate with now President-elect Donald Trump, before Biden was forced out of that race to be replaced by Democrat elites with Kamala Harris, Kennedy concluded Biden "politically is as dead as fried chicken."

Now he's issued holiday wishes, a Thanksgiving message to Americans.

He was responding to a question from Sean Hannity of Fox News about leftists' ongoing attacks on Americans over the results of the 2024 election:

"Here's what I think. I think these people are goofy. They have the right to their opinion, but they're just goofy. They hate George Washington and Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln and Dr. Seuss and Mr. Potato Head," he said.

"They think our kids ought to be able to change genders at recess. They carry around Ziploc bags of kale to give themselves energy. To me—to each his own. To me, kale tastes like I'd rather be fat. Now, these people are entitled to their opinions, but they have an unwarranted sense of moral and intellectual superiority.

"They think they're smarter and more virtuous than the American people. And they think we're not real people. But we were, and we are real people. And in this last election, we got really mad, and we sent a message, clearly, unequivocally. And my message to all my friends and my enemies in America is: Happy Thanksgiving, and stay deplorable, my friend."

His "deplorable" reference is to a statement from failed 2016 Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton who dismissed some half of the nation, the conservative half, for their political and religious beliefs. She called them all "deplorables."

Joe Biden, during the 2024 race, called that same, now-majority, of Americans, "garbage."

Commenters on social media described Kennedy as a "national treasure."

One added, "Happy Thanksgiving! You can't help but feel good about being 'deplorable' after hearing this message from Sen. Kennedy."

Melania Trump said she was pleased her husband had "high expectations" for her before they tied the knot, the UK Daily Mail reported. This revelation came from a clip that resurfaced of the former model and Donald Trump, who would twice become president and twice make her first lady, on CNN's Larry King months after their 2005 wedding.

The pair were media favorites long before Donald Trump became the 45th and 47th president of the United States. King interviewed them and asked Melania Trump about her husband's "demands" or whether he was "controlling" as a spouse.

Melania Trump said he was not, but rather that she "respected" that he had expected so much from her. "He values loyalty, respect, and he has high expectations. There were things he expected from me, and I respected that," the former first lady explained.

Endearing Couple

When Donald Trump entered politics in 2015, the media turned on him and began to paint a very different picture than the one they portrayed when he was just a rich, charismatic real estate mogul. The way King treated Donald Trump and his wife proves that.

King fawned over Melania's ring from Graff Jewelers, which King referred to as "Oprah's jeweler." The clip is a reminder of how the Trumps were beloved by the same networks and people who would later turn against them.

The interview also revealed what kind of man Donald Trump is, especially to the women in his life, which was something only in dispute since he entered politics as a Republican. Melania Trump described their marriage in a way that would surprise these leftists.

"We are very equal in the relationship, and that's very important. You know, to marry a man like Donald is -- you need to know who you are, and you need to be very strong and smart and, you know, he needs to know that he could rely on me sometimes," Melania Trump said.

"You know, and we share a lot of stuff together. I don't think he's a control freak at all," she added.

The Reactions

CNN's YouTube video of the interview received renewed attention in the lead-up to the 2024 election. In the comments section under the video, one user posted, "This interview needs to be all over the place right now, on Nov.2nd, 2024."

Others noticed the disparate way the Trumps were treated then and now. "They were always like this, even today," the user posted of Donald and Melania.

"But the people wanted to judge and tear Melania down as soon as she became First Lady. She remained classy throughout all of it. I'm not even Republican, but I respect people who are respectable," the person wrote.

There are many clips, news articles, books, tabloids, and other sources over the decades that have shown what kind of couple the Trumps are. They were part of American royalty and well respected by the most powerful people in the world.

However, Donald Trump made the mistake of becoming a Republican presidential candidate in 2015. These same people have turned on him and painted him with the worst insults, but this interview and others prove that these attacks are completely political.

President-elect Donald Trump announced Monday evening one of the first major actions he will take on his first day in office: "Charge Mexico and Canada a 25% Tariff on ALL products coming into the United States" due to their "ridiculous Open Borders."

"As everyone is aware, thousands of people are pouring through Mexico and Canada, bringing Crime and Drugs at levels never seen before," Trump said on Truth Social.

"Right now a Caravan coming from Mexico, composed of thousands of people, seems to be unstoppable in its quest to come through our currently Open Border. On January 20th, as one of my many first Executive Orders, I will sign all necessary documents to charge Mexico and Canada a 25% Tariff on ALL products coming into the United States, and its ridiculous Open Borders.

"This Tariff will remain in effect until such time as Drugs, in particular Fentanyl, and all Illegal Aliens stop this Invasion of our Country!

"Both Mexico and Canada have the absolute right and power to easily solve this long simmering problem. We hereby demand that they use this power, and until such time that they do, it is time for them to pay a very big price!"

Trump did not limit his attention to Mexico and Canada, but turned his concern to China.

"I have had many talks with China about the massive amounts of drugs, in particular Fentanyl, being sent into the United States – But to no avail," he explained.

"Representatives of China told me that they would institute their maximum penalty, that of death, for any drug dealers caught doing this but, unfortunately, they never followed through, and drugs are pouring into our Country, mostly through Mexico, at levels never seen before.

"Until such time as they stop, we will be charging China an additional 10% Tariff, above any additional Tariffs, on all of their many products coming into the United States of America.

"Thank you for your attention to this matter."

A man who is in prison awaiting trial on charges he tried to assassinate now President-elect Donald Trump has written to Politico to call for peace, a demand that the publication itself describes as "not exactly" coherent.

It is Ryan Routh who sent a letter to Ankush Khardori, a senior writer for Politico, who then described it in excerpts.

He cited Routh's obvious leftist leanings and demands for peace, and advised, "Take this all for what it's worth, which may not be much. After all, the basic message — a call for peace from someone who appears to have attempted an assassination — is not exactly a coherent or compelling one in the first place."

He said Routh "clearly views Trump as a threat to democracy, echoing a major piece of Democrats' case against Trump during this election cycle, as well as that of anti-Trump Republicans."

"In the end, we can't know what may have driven an agitated mind to attempt a heinous act. You don't have to believe Routh based on what he put in his letter. He's not exactly a reliable narrator. But you also don't have to take the word of partisan politicians. The only thing for certain in this polarized climate is that the debate isn't going away."

The column said the publication compared the writing in the letter to known writing from Routh, and it appeared to be the same. His lawyers declined comment.

Khardori explained, "The day after the second attempt on his life this year, Donald Trump blamed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. 'Their rhetoric is causing me to be shot at,' Trump said. His running mate, JD Vance, also blamed Harris and other Democrats, and the question of what motivated the alleged would-be assassin, Ryan Routh, remained a hot topic heading into Election Day."

He said that was among the reasons he was intrigued when the four-page letter arrived.

The column explained the letter's newsworthiness comes from its inclusion of Routh's politics.

Khardori explains, "To hear Routh tell it, he has no particular affinity for the Democratic Party — or either major political party, for that matter."

Routh wrote, "I am unclear how we allowed ourselves to fall into just a two-party system, but it infuriates me. My entire life has been plagued by D's and R's. It seems not long ago there was a push for the libertarian party and now a green party and maybe Truth party. But for some reason our leaders have not allowed any other party [to] be recognized in any race."

He blasted "the two ruling parties" and complained about the national debt.

"We all wonder why we end up with such flawed candidates, when our system is designed to exclude most everyone," he said.

He said he was not a Democrat, but he is a "vigorous Trump opponent."

"He wrote his letter before the election and urged the country, in the event of a Trump victory, 'to remove the power of our military by the President and place it with Congress before January.' 'We must limit all Presidential power before Trump seizes our country,' he wrote," the report said.

He considered a "civil war" and calls himself the Trump Alleged Shooter.

He does link himself to Matthew Crooks, who tried to assassinate Trump in July and was shot and killed by authorities, describing how both were "ready to die for freedom and democracy."

And he demanded peace in the Middle East, attacking Israel for its defense against the terrorists in Hamas who invaded and slaughtered some 1,200 people.

"If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." – 2 Chronicles 7:14

Americans recently found out what can happen when tens of millions of normal, decent, patriotic, God-fearing citizens fervently pray to Almighty God to have mercy on their beloved but wayward nation – and to save them from falling under the excruciating rule of deranged sociopaths obviously in the grip of very dark forces.

Indeed, most Americans understood they were close to losing, perhaps forever, the greatest and most abundantly blessed nation in history.

Here's how Christian broadcaster and bestselling author Eric Metaxas put it one day after a would-be assassin in Butler, Pennsylvania, shot Donald Trump, hitting him in the ear while missing his skull by literally half an inch – and only because Trump suddenly turned his head 90 degrees at the exact right moment:

"I have said repeatedly for months that those who hate Trump would stop at nothing to make sure he doesn't get back in to the White House, including trying to assassinate him. I have also said God's hand is on him, and would protect him, if God forbid someone did try to do that. Last night we saw that happen. His survival was nothing less than a miracle. So be assured that God is not finished with this nation.

"But we need to pray," Metaxas urged. "We are in an existential crisis, and without God, this experiment in self-government will not continue. But it is God's will that it continue. So please pray."

Today, overwhelming relief and thanksgiving for God's mercy are breathing new life and hope –even joy – into the long-suffering American middle class that delivered Donald Trump's landslide victory on Nov. 5, while rejecting the Democrats' manifestly insane agenda.

Indeed, the hard truth is that the modern Democratic Party's agenda has devolved to the point of being not merely insane – say, like its insistence that men can menstruate, get pregnant, give birth and "chest-feed" their baby. It is, in fact, increasingly criminally insane. If that sounds even slightly hyperbolic, consider that the programs pushed full-throttle by the Biden-Harris administration have included (as confirmed by recent official U.S. government statistics) intentionally allowing tens of thousands of convicted murderers and rapists to be released from foreign prisons so they can illegally enter the United States of America and wreak untold havoc on the good people of this nation. Sounds pretty criminal, doesn't it?

So it is not, as Kamala Harris liked to say, that "we have a broken immigration system." It's that the Biden-Harris regime has intentionally broken it – inviting and facilitating murder, sexual assault, terrorism, gang violence, sex-trafficking of women and children, and rampant fentanyl distribution, the No. 1 cause of death of young Americans aged 18-45.

That's not just insane. It's criminal.

Likewise, what about cutting off the breasts of 13- and 14-year-old girls and amputating the genitals of boys who have been seduced by demonically possessed social media "influencers"? Today's Democrat elite love this! Last year, would-be vice president Tim Walz signed a bill, as governor, making Minnesota a sanctuary state for transgender madness targeting children, essentially allowing the state to wrest custody of a child from his or her own parents if they didn't agree with allowing their precious child to be permanently mutilated and chemically sterilized by mad scientists.

The Harris-Walz agenda also featured abortion with no limits – literally up to the very moment of natural birth, which is de facto infanticide. And true to form, in January 2023 Walz signed into law the Protect Reproductive Options Act which stipulated no restrictions whatsoever on abortion at any stage of pregnancy – and enshrining that into the Minnesota Constitution.

Is it any wonder that the American people, who are overwhelmingly NOT interested in brainwashing their children with toxic Marxist ideologies, seeing their nation flooded with tens of thousands of murderers and rapists, killing precious human babies, cutting healthy body parts off their kids, and allowing deranged men to completely destroy women's athletics, said "HELL NO" to the Democrats' agenda and candidates in the recent presidential election?

No wonder Americans are overwhelmingly happy at the prospect of Trump and his team rapidly reversing the destructive and perverse agendas of the Biden-Harris regime.

'Morning in America'

Some much-relieved Americans are now enthusiastically calling Donald Trump the greatest American president since Ronald Reagan, evoking the famous "Morning in America" theme of Reagan's 1984 re-election campaign. And indeed, there are many striking similarities between what Reagan accomplished after the chaotic and financially ruinous Carter presidency, and what Trump accomplished after Barack Obama's toxic and divisive eight years as president.

But of all the things common to both Reagan and Trump, and there are many – their obvious love for America, their insistence on "peace through strength" via a robust military, their enlightened economic policies, their buoyant sense of humor, and the respect they both inspired in foreign leaders – one other similarity is seldom mentioned:

Democrats compared both presidents to Hitler.

That's right. As Steven F. Hayward, author of the 2001 book "The Age Of Reagan" revealed: "Liberals hated Reagan in the 1980s. Pure and simple." For example, he wrote, "Democratic Rep. William Clay of Missouri charged that Reagan was 'trying to replace the Bill of Rights with fascist precepts lifted verbatim from Mein Kampf.'"

In truth, Democrats have long been addicted to accusing Republicans of being Nazis and their leaders of being Hitler clones, but no one has been targeted nearly as much as Donald J. Trump.

Unfortunately, accusing an American president of being like Hitler is not merely dishonest and insane, it is a de facto call for his assassination, since the most moral response to the real Adolf Hitler during the Third Reich was to attempt to kill him, and the participants in all of the many plots to assassinate "Der Fuhrer" are today considered heroes.

Yet all of this present madness is understandable in light of the biblical admonition: "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" – Isaiah 5:20

Americans of every political persuasion need to come to terms with the inescapable reality that the current Democratic Party – whose leaders have descended to defaming tens of millions of thoroughly decent, moral Americans as "fascists," "racists" and "garbage" – has become the party not just of insanity, but of evil, where good is literally called evil, and evil is called good.

Fortunately, as Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson has astutely pointed out, Trump has actually ushered in a radical realignment of the two main U.S. political parties: "The Democrats are the party of the elite now. But Donald Trump has made the Republican Party the party of the working men and women … of this nation – the people that made this country great."

That bears repeating: Whereas the Democratic Party has long been touted as the party of the working man, and the Republican Party as the political home of the rich and the elite (though not really true, that was how the GOP was long characterized), today Republicans are unquestionably the party of the common working man and woman, while the Democratic Party is widely recognized now as the political home of the elite, the wealthy, the super-rich donor class and globalists.

Winning the war

So, what must good Americans do to hold on to their victory – this precious reprieve God has so graciously granted them – and which may represent their last chance to restore America?

Yes, Nov. 5 represents a great battle decisively won. The sane and normal people are in charge again. But the larger war will continue.

After all, most of America's key institutions, from the "mainstream media" to Big Tech to academia are still almost entirely in the hands of the Left. "Drag queen story hour" brainwashing sessions targeting the nation's toddlers will still take place. Ivy League colleges will still be full of unhinged Marxist professors. And of course, the more out-of-view realms of power and influence – of big money, of the Deep State, of foreign plots, of would-be assassins and every other kind of opposition – are still out there. Media personalities will continue to snipe, defame and try to tear down the Trump administration whenever possible, and to turn Americans against it.

And yet, it won't work.

Why? Because the credibility of the "enemy within" has been destroyed; tens of millions of Americans simply do not believe them anymore. Reports of CNN preparing to fire "hundreds" of staffers and MSNBC's ratings falling more than 50% since the election testify to the reality that Americans have finally awakened to – and firmly rejected – the lies being directed at them daily by the Left.

In light of all this, it's reasonable to take a leap of faith and simply dare to affirm that America is back.

The dream of America as a land of unmatched freedom and opportunity goes back to the settlers who celebrated that first Thanksgiving just over four centuries ago in 1621, when it really sank in to all involved that this land – America – was truly their home, a blessed land of unfathomably great potential for freedom and brotherhood.

Many Americans today thought this wonderful dream might have been lost forever, that their once-great nation had just sunk too deep into the muck of corruption and delusion and evil. But thanks be to God, America is back.

Yes, the Almighty picked someone to lead the current charge – Donald Trump. But this blessing goes beyond Trump. America itself is back – as long as true Americans hold fast to it, and honor and protect it.

A town has been ordered by a "human rights" court to pay an LGBT activist group $10,000, including $5,000 from the mayor's personal bank account, for not celebrating the alternative lifestyle choices being promoted.

report at Not the Bee identified the town that offended the LGBT promoters as Emo, Ontario, Canada.

The report explained the LGBT members of Borderland Pride had told the city to proclaim June 2020 as "Pride Month" and fly a rainbow flag for a week.

The town council and mayor did not, however, take up the campaign.

So the organization complained to the Ontario Human Rights Council that members were injured by the town's lack of cooperation.

"The tribunal, whose rulings are legally binding, has determined that the township must pay Borderland Pride $10,000 and Emo Mayor Harold McQuaker has to provide the group with $5,000 from his personal finances," the report said.

The report continued, "Ontario's Human Rights Tribunal (an Orwellian sounding group if there ever was one) believes that LGBT people have the human right to a whole month celebrating their sex lives, and if a tiny town doesn't agree they have to pay a fine to an LGBT rights group and extort their mayor to pay half."

The LGBT activists claimed the town's action was discriminatory.

Members demanded that, "We're entitled to treatment without discrimination when we try to seek services from our local government."

Town officials also were ordered into an LGBT indoctrination course.
