President Donald Trump's youngest child, Barron, is a gentle giant with a sharp wit and a taste for fashion, according to his tailor.

While not much is known about Barron's personal life, he is widely perceived as an intelligent and charismatic young man. Nathan Pearce, CEO of Pearce Bespoke, shared a rare glimpse into Barron's personality with the Women's Wear Daily, describing him as friendly, modest, and very smart.

“He’s a super-bright kid. He’s well beyond his years in terms of experience, knowledge, history. He’s just fascinating to talk to,” Pearce told WWD of President Trump’s youngest son.

"Super sharp"

Pearce - who has outfitted football stars like Eli Manning, Jayden Daniels, and Drew Brees - called Barron a sparkling conversationalist with a "dry sense of humor," adding he can "hold his own" with top businessmen.

"He's hilarious," Pearce said. "But as I said, he's super-sharp," he continued. "You put him in a room with star businessmen and he will hold his own."

"He can talk to them all day because he's witty, smart and has a dry sense of humor."

Despite being the son of the former and current president, Barron doesn't act self-important, Pearce said.

“You know what is another word I would say about [Barron]? Hospitable. He is down-to-earth, nice as can be and hospitable,” Pearce said, adding, “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him over the last one or two years.”

“I recognize that Barron Trump could be choosing from tailors all over the world, and he chose me and Pearce Bespoke. I’m super-grateful and super-proud of that,” Pearce added.

Barron captivates nation

The president's youngest son, now 18 years old, has grown to an impressive height in the eight years since he first joined his father at the White House.

The 6'9" scion cut an impressive figure at his father's second inauguration, where he was seen shaking hands with President Biden, winning praise for the polite gesture.

Barron's elusive nature has only added to public interest in his life and future plans.

Like his father, Barron is known to dress smartly, favoring traditional suit-and-tie business attire. The New York University freshman sported a long charcoal coat, dark blue suit, navy blue tie, and gold cufflinks at Monday's inaugural celebration.

Wearing a confident smile, and looking not a little like his father, he pumped his fists to the cheering crowd.

Democrats in the U.S. Senate have voted unanimously to deprive babies who survive abortion attempts of equal rights.

Those would be the rights to medical assistance to survive, as another baby born with a threat to life would receive.

All 47 Democrats voted against the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which means the plan did not receive the 60 votes needed in the Senate to advance.

The bill was from Sens. James Lankford, R-Okla, and Jim Banks, R-Ind., and states "that a baby born alive from a failed abortion deserves the same protection and medical care as other newborns," according to the Daily Signal.

Banks had pointed out, "Almost every American agrees that a baby that takes their first breath deserves the same right to life as the rest of us do."

Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., brought the bill to a vote and endorsed it, but said he expected Democrats to oppose it.

Republicans' motion for cloture on Wednesday failed with a vote of 52-47.

"Democrats are afraid that by recognizing the humanity of the newly born child, they will inadvertently point to the humanity of the unborn child," Thune explained. "And I do understand where they're coming from. After all, once you recognize the humanity of the newly born baby, it gets a little harder to say that that child wasn't human just a few minutes ago simply because he or she wasn't yet born."

Thune blasted Democrats, explaining, "there is nothing more important to Democrats than abortion," so they will vote against a plan "to provide appropriate medical care to babies born alive in an abortion clinic."

Only one Democrat supported the plan when it was approved, 220-210, earlier in the House.

The White House has confirmed it has issued orders that all federal DEI operations are being closed and all of those workers are being placed on leave.

The "Diversity, Equity and Inclusion" ideology emphasized hiring individuals because they were a certain race or because of their claimed gender ideology rather than focusing on workers who actually were best at doing the job.

It's been used as reason for untold billions of dollars in tax spending in recent years, and in fact, has threatened Americans as key leaders in positions of authority, fire departments and such, have been chosen based on beliefs and lifestyles, not competency.

It's part of the White House effort to end affirmative action in federal employment, and probably will result in the layoffs of many of those workers in now-closed DEI offices.

President Donald Trump has identified such social agenda promotions as "discrimination" and said hiring should be based on merit.

The AP reported Trump's plans now pick up "where Trump's first administration left off: One of Trump's final acts during his first term was an executive order banning federal agency contractors and recipients of federal funding from conducting anti-bias training that addressed concepts like systemic racism."

Joe Biden reversed course immediately, installing discriminatory DEI programs throughout the government, a campaign that now is being ended.

Already, key players in the American economy, from Walmart to Facebook, have been scaling back or ending their Biden-influence discrimination programs.

The Gateway Pundit elaborated on Trump's "Ending Radical and Wasteful Government DEI Programs and Preferencing and Initial Rescissions of Harmful Executive Orders and Actions" executive order, noting, "Already, on Tuesday, DEI Coast Guard Commandant Admiral Linda Lee Fagan was fired by the acting Secretary of Homeland Security Benjamin Huffman due to several operational failures under her watch along with rampant political correctness."

A template email to workers explained, "These programs divided Americans by race, wasted taxpayer dollars, and resulted in shameful discrimination."

Those DEI officer are closing as of end of business Wednesday, with notification to workers they are on leave immediately.

Further, the report explains, websites and social media accounts must be updated to reflect the new non-discrimination standard and training is canceled.

Then by noon Thursday agencies are required to report on the steps they've taken.

Further, there was a warning that concealing such social agendas behind "coded" descriptions will not be tolerated.

"We are aware of efforts by some in government to disguise these programs by using coded or imprecise language," the order includes.

President Trump, under his Make America Great Again agenda, is ending the profligate use of the nation's flagpoles to promote various race and gender ideologies.

report in the Washington Free Beacon confirms the State Department has adopted a "One Flag Policy" that bars U.S. flagpoles from flying flags other than Stars and Stripes, with one or two special patriotic exceptions.

The publication reported obtaining a copy of the order that bans Pride, Black Lives Matter and other flags that Joe Biden had allowed to use the gravitas of the American government.

"Starting immediately, only the United States of America flag is authorized to be flown or displayed at U.S. facilities, both domestic and abroad, and featured in U.S. government content," the State Department said, "The flag of the United States of America united all Americans under the universal principles of justice, liberty, and democracy. These values, which are the bedrock of our great country, are shared by all American citizens, past and present."

"Disciplinary action" is promised to those who violate the policy, which could be up to "termination of employment."

"The only other flags that will be permitted to fly are the Prisoner of War/Missing in Action (POW/MIA) emblem and the Wrongful Detainees Flag," the report said the government allowed.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said, "The U.S. flag is a powerful symbol of pride and it is fitting and respectful that only the U.S. flag be flown or displayed at U.S. facilities, both domestically and abroad."

The report noted the White House said, "On the President's direction, the State Department will have an America-First foreign policy."

Biden had allowed an assortment of gender-ideology and racist flag emblems to be flown, including the Pride flag that usurped the Stars and Stripes on occasion at the White House.

"In June 2021, for instance, the U.S. embassy in Nassau 'raised the rainbow Pride Flag to honor the human rights of LGBTQI+ persons in The Bahamas and around the world,'" Biden's administration boasted at the time.

The report said during Trump's first term as president, he repeatedly refused permission to embassies and consulates to use the authority of the American government to promote such social perspectives.

It was in June 2023 when Biden allowed the White House to be draped with Pride flags, at an event when he celebrated the LGBT ideology with a party there, including three "guests" who were caught posing topless.

Fox News reported Barack Obama also promoted the use of LGBT flags at U.S. embassies while he was in the White House.

The report noted there also was a limit on Pride flags at embassies under the March 2024 $1.2 trillion spending pushed by Biden.

President Donald Trump says he would like to do Russia, and President Vladimir Putin, a "favor," by allowing them to settle their war in Ukraine now.

"We can do it the easy way or the hard way – and the easy way is always better," Trump said in a posting on social media:

He explained, "I'm not looking to hurt Russia. I love the Russian people, and always had a very good relationship with President Putin – and this despite the Radical Left's Russia, Russia, Russia HOAX."

He said, "We must never forget that Russia helped us win the Second World War, losing almost 60,000,000 lives in the process. All of that being said, I'm going to do Russia, whose Economy is failing, and President Putin, a very big FAVOR. Settle now, and STOP this ridiculous War!"

He explained, "IT'S ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE. If we don't make a 'deal,' and soon, I have no other choice but to put high levels of Taxes, Tariffs, and Sanctions on anything being sold by Russia to the United States, and various other participating countries. Let's get this war, which never would have started if I were President, over with! We can do it the easy way, or the hard way – and the easy way is always better. It's time to 'MAKE A DEAL.' NO MORE LIVES SHOULD BE LOST!!!"

One of Trump's pledges during his campaign was that he would work to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict, to which the U.S. under Joe Biden sent billions and billions of dollars, soon.

The Daily Wire noted the "various" other countries likely would include China, as Beijing and Moscow "have grown closer in recent years."

The report said, "Russia has also received help in the war from North Korea, which recently dispatched thousands of its own soldiers to join the fight against Ukraine."

The Trump plans are the latest example, the report said, of Trump's "willingness to wield the United States' economic might to pressure other countries. Trump has also threatened Canada and Mexico with tariffs unless they take action on issues such as securing their borders against illegal immigration and drug smuggling."

Despite every indication to the contrary, it seems that President Donald Trump's detractors believe he's just a few bad bites away from dropping dead of a heart attack.

This belief began to be circulated in 2015 when the now (again) president's personal habits became part of the national discussion.

Among other things, Trump is a huge fan of McDonald's burgers, fast food, and Diet Coke. He also does not take his exercise regimen seriously.

It seems apparent that Trump's unwell-wishers are mostly projecting due to wishful thinking, but the "evidence" for the junk food-loving, 5-hour-a-night sleeping president has been raised over and over again.

From Inside Sources

Last year, first lady Melania Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr, the president's nominee for health secretary, were reportedly "ganging up" on Trump to push him to eat a more healthy diet, according to The Daily Mail.

Included in their alleged insistences were him substituting lean protein for some of his current diet, as well as salads and more vegetables.

Some of Trump's former aides have also testified about Trump's McDonalds order of two Big Macs, two Filet-O-Fish and a chocolate milkshake, which comes to a whopping 2,430 calories.

However, no matter what is being said about the current leader of the free world, he seems to have unmatched energy.

Comparison to the Last President

On Monday, at the age of 78 and 220 days, Trump became the oldest person to ever be inaugurated as president, outpacing Biden's age during the 2020 inauguration by about 5 months.

However, his ongoing comparison to Biden seems to have benefited him on the campaign trail, as Biden, now 82, seemed to struggle to stay awake frequently while serving his term over the last few years.

Kamala Included

But the standoff with the last administration wasn't relegated to Biden. Despite being 18 years her senior, he challenged Kamala Harris to a cognitive test on X in October of last year.

This was several months after Harris, the former vice president, took over the Democratic ticket following a primary season in which she never received a single vote.

During his challenge, Trump told his supporters that Harris had been "slow and lethargic in answering even the easiest of questions."

While Trump didn't do any tricks beyond the standard at his swearing-in, he also didn't shuffle the way Biden has been seen doing over the past few years, and it seems that is enough to anger his detractors, pushing the narrative about his health and age.

U.S. Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Linda Lee Fagan has been fired after several failures, including focusing too much on diversity, equity, and inclusion, Fox News reported. A senior Department of Homeland Security said the 66-year-old was terminated by Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Benjamine Huffman.

The DHS official, speaking exclusively to Fox News, said that an "erosion of trust" was to blame for Fagan's ouster. A Coast Guard bulletin confirmed the news Tuesday.

"Under my statutory authority as the Acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, I have relieved Admiral Linda L. Fagan of her duties as Commandant of the United States Coast Guard. She served a long and illustrious career, and I thank her for her service to our nation," the bulletin from Huffman said.

Fagan's many failures include her inability to secure the border, a focus on DEI to the Coast Guard's detriment, insufficient execution of strategic objectives, and poor recruitment and retention. She is also accused of participating in a cover-up of an investigation into sexual misconduct in the branch of the armed services.

Poor Leadership

It seems her Fagan was a failure by just about every metric. The Coast Guard, with its 42,000 active-duty members plus thousands of reserve members and civilians, is in charge of protecting the nation's ports of entry and surrounding waterways.

Unfortunately, because of Fagan's lack of leadership in that position, fentanyl and other illicit drugs poured into the country while under her watch. She also dropped the ball regarding joint ventures with the DHS to secure maritime borders.

Moreover, Coast Guard helicopters and icebreakers, which are necessary to service objectives, were not acquired as they should have been. Fagan oversaw as costs soared and timelines lagged with her at the helm.

These were problems that came to light under the first administration of President Donald Trump. Rather than focusing on fixing these issues, Fagan, the first woman to head any branch of the U.S. military, squandered resources to prioritize DEI at the Coast Guard Academy.

Although he didn't mention Fagan by name, Trump adviser and billionaire Elon Musk shared a link to an article about her firing. "Undermining the U.S. military and border security to spend money on racist/sexist DEI nonsense is no longer acceptable," Musk posted, according to Reuters.

It Gets Worse

While Fagan was concerned about DEI, a scandal that started before her tenure continued to bubble under the surface. The Coast Guard quietly conducted an investigation into abuse allegations but kept the information from Congress and the public.

According to the Associated Press , the Coast Guard ran the probe Operation Fouled Anchor between 2014 and 2019. The goal was to look into allegations of sexual misconduct at the Coast Guard Academy involving at least a dozen victims.

The findings were finally revealed when the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability publicized its report late last year. "Today’s report confirms and provides additional powerful evidence that the cover-up of sexual assault in the Coast Guard was deliberate and purposeful and longstanding," Sen. Richard Blumenthal, the committee's chairman, said on Dec. 20.

"The public deserves an explanation. So do the survivors," he added. Although the investigation concluded before Fagan became head of the Coast Guard, she is implicated in efforts to keep a lid on the determinations.

It's about time people who don't live up to their responsibilities are thrown out. Trump has a mandate to clean house, and Fagan will likely be just one of many who will have to face the consequences of their failures.

First lady Melania Trump entrusted her Inauguration Day look to longtime stylist Herve Pierre, the UK Daily Mail reported. Because of President Donald Trump is a Republican, the first lady was snubbed by many designers in the past, though that may be changing.

All eyes were on Melania Trump Monday as her husband was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States. Dressed in a navy blue suit and statement hat Pierre chose for her, Melania Trump exuded confidence and class.

Her demure daytime look was second only to the stunning evening gown Pierre designed for her to wear to the Inaugural Ball that evening. Peirre's instincts have made Melania Trump the most stylish first lady, even with the fashion world against her.

Her Place in Fashion

Long before she married the man who made her first lady, Melania Trump was a supermodel. She graced the covers of magazines, including left-wing activist Anna Wintour's Vogue.

However, since moving into the White House in 2017, Melania Trump has become a pariah in the fashion industry. Ralph Lauren designed the light blue dress and matching bolero she wore for her husband's first inauguration but chose to dress the outgoing first lady Jill Biden instead this time around.

Still, it's difficult to keep such a beautiful woman from shining. Pierre, who has been by her side since the beginning, did just that when he chose a Harry Winston brooch with a black ribbon as a choker to compliment his custom design.

The gown, a white strapless affair with black zigzag embellishment, told the story of a woman who is an icon through and through. What Pieree said began with "a simple scribble with a marker on a piece of paper" turned into a look for the ages, securing her place in fashion.

A New Era

According to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Melania Trump had more choices this time. Designers have warmed to the idea of her and others in her orbit donning their pieces, including second lady Usha Vance wearing Oscar de la Renta and Ivanka Trump carrying a Dior bag.

Even Vogue writer José Criales-Unzueta had to acknowledge the shift. "Does this mean that the designers who decide to dress Melania Trump have let go of their values by aligning themselves with her? Not exactly," Criales-Unzueta wrote Monday to explain away the change.

"Should the industry or the public be surprised if and when Trump is embraced by fashion in a different capacity this time around? Not at all," the author added.

It's also a different political and cultural climate, considering that Trump won with both the electoral and the popular votes. A majority of people have spoken when they voted for President Trump, and even fashion designers can't ignore that fact.

Melania Trump is a beautiful and classy woman who wears her clothes very well. It's about time that the fashion industry caught up to that fact and quit with the partisan politics.

In a surprising turn of events that drew significant attention, Barron Trump made only a brief appearance at his father's inauguration on January 20 before missing the evening inaugural balls.

Barron Trump, son of former President Donald Trump, was present at the inauguration ceremony but was nowhere to be seen at the inaugural balls, raising questions among spectators and media alike, The Economic Times reported

On January 20, the historic swearing-in ceremony took place at the United States Capitol, where Donald Trump was inaugurated as President of the United States alongside JD Vance as Vice President. The event was attended by a close family, including Barron Trump, who was there to support his father's next chapter in politics.

Barron Trump Seen in Daytime Events Only

Accompanying his mother, Melania Trump, and siblings, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, and Tiffany Trump, Barron witnessed his father's oath-taking ceremony. During the event, the young Trump was seen engaging with supporters and even elicited loud cheers when his father mentioned him during the inaugural parade.

"Has anyone ever heard of him?" Donald Trump asked the crowd, referring to his son, while adding a touch of humor to the occasion.

Though he captured attention with his playful hand gestures, Barron was notably absent from the evening's acclaimed inaugural celebrations. As prominent members of the Trump family celebrated the President's achievement, Barron did not attend the Liberty Inaugural Ball or any other similar events that declared the celebratory mood.

Public and Social Media React to Barron's Absence

Social media users and onlookers took to various platforms to comment on Barron's resemblance to his father in both appearance and mannerisms. Some remarked on Barron's striking stature and his hair, which became a topic of online discussion, noting a possible thinning hairline.

Many observers couldn't help but notice the affection and pride exuded by Donald Trump during these events. A social media user described Trump as "such a proud father," with others adding that "it was beautiful to see."

Melania Trump, for her part, shared her thoughts on raising their "independent and opinionated" son in an appearance on Fox & Friends. While discussing Barron's future, she emphasized their approach to parenting as providing guidance and allowing their son the freedom to pursue his wishes.

Insights Into Barron's College Choice

The evening also shone a light on Barron's personal life, particularly when it comes to educational decisions. Opting to stay close to family, Barron chose to attend New York University instead of his father's alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania.

"It was his decision to come here," Melania Trump affirmed, showcasing respect for Barron's choice. "He is in New York, studying, and living in his home," she explained, highlighting her son's autonomy.

Donald Trump expressed his pride in Barron, acknowledging his numerous college acceptances and commending his intelligence. Barron will be attending Stern, the business school at NYU, which his father described as a "great school."

Media Speculation and Family Dynamics

As the media pays close attention to the dynamics within the Trump family, it's clear that Barron's absence at the inaugural balls remains a talking point among those who follow political and social events. Moreover, the family's comments indicate that Barron’s presence at such events is determined by his own choices and comfort.

Melania Trump's past reflections on Barron add a layer of understanding to his independent demeanor. Describing him as a "mixture" of his parents in looks but as having a personality that she humorously dubbed "Little Donald," she paints a picture of a young man aware of his own mind and preferences.

The Senate unanimously confirmed former Senator Marco Rubio as Secretary of State, securing President Trump's first Cabinet appointment.

Rubio was confirmed 99-0 by the Senate on Monday as Trump returned to the Oval Office for the first time in four years.

Rubio confirmed

Rubio is one of Trump's more conventional nominees, and he was not expected to face much resistance in the Senate where he served for more than a decade.

Rubio once clashed with Trump when they were primary rivals in 2015, with Trump dubbing him "Little Marco." Rubio later became a supporter of Trump during his first term.

The son of Cuban immigrants, Rubio is known for his aggressive foreign policy views especially concerning China. Despite his generally hawkish outlook, Rubio has echoed Trump's "America First" messaging, including Trump's calls to end the brutal war in Ukraine.

Rubio was sworn in Tuesday by Vice President J.D. Vance, who left the Senate to join Trump, leaving the chamber temporarily with 99 members.

"We will work hard every second of the day to help him achieve the agenda the American people have given him to achieve," Rubio said.

"[Trump's] primary promise when it comes to foreign policy is that the priority of the United States Department of State will be the United States. It will be furthering the national interest of this country," Rubio said.

Trump's second term vision

Trump has set an expansionist vision for his second term, proposing to buy Greenland, annex Canada and take back the Panama Canal by force, while keeping America out of unnecessary wars that do not serve the national interest.

"Like in 2017, we will again build the strongest military the world has ever seen," Trump said in his second inaugural address Monday. "We will measure our success not only by the battles we win, but also by the wars that we end, and, perhaps most importantly, the wars we never get into.”

During a confirmation hearing last week, Rubio defended Trump's "legitimate" concern about Chinese influence over the Panama Canal.

"This is a legitimate issue that needs to be confronted," he said. "President Trump is not inventing this."

World in chaos

Rubio will inherit a world in chaos, with a conflict in Ukraine nearing its three-year mark and a fragile cease-fire holding between Israel and Hamas.

Trump's pressure tactics were instrumental to negotiating the Israel-Hamas deal, which went into effect Sunday. But Trump said Monday that he is "not confident" the agreement will last.

"Well, I'm hoping and praying it will hold -- but remember, on Oct. 6 there was a ceasefire in place between Israel and Hamas," Rubio told CBS on Tuesday. "Oct. 7 was a violation of that."

"So when you're dealing with a terrorist organization that has committed atrocities, motivated by all kinds of evil, I don't think you can go into it very confident that things will hold in the long term."

"We want it to work out. We think there is the broader hope of a peace in the region," he added. "So we're hopeful, but I think we need to be realistic about what we're dealing with here."
