An official from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) said during an episode of the All In podcast that millions of migrants who entered the country illegally have found their way onto Medicaid rolls and many have been able to get Social Security cards.

Antonio Gracias explained on the podcast that migrants freed into the U.S. under Biden have been able to get work permits and Social Security cards, which in many cases allows them to get Medicaid and to vote.

A DOGE chart shows that during Biden's time in office, more than four million non-citizen Social Security cards were issued--more than two million of them were in fiscal year 2024.

chart via DOGE

The process

“[Border Patrol] was giving people at times Notices to Appear [NTAs], and what that allows you to do is come in the country and then you’re scheduled a court date like six years out,” Gracias explained.

"So now you’re in the country with some quasi-legal status, you’re waiting for your court date, while you’re waiting for your court date — six years is the average by the way, it could be longer than that — you can fill out an asylum application, so without an interview, just an application … once that application is in, you can file another form, a 765 [form] to get work authorization, once you get that, you get a 766 which is the authorization and we automatically send you a Social Security card in the mail," he went on. "No interview, that is the majority of the growth you see in these numbers."

About a quarter of the migrants released into the U.S. were not even fingerprinted at the border, and there is no income verification when they apply for asylum and are sent a Social Security card.

This opens the door to massive entitlement fraud, voter fraud, and other types of fraud on a massive scale. Let's hope DOGE can do something about it before the entire system is useless.

“We mapped this through the benefit programs, we found every benefits program that is being accessed by these people, 1.3 million are on Medicaid right now, today. And by the way, it’s just ramping up, it’s just starting,” Gracias said.

"We looked at voter rolls and we found that thousands are registered to vote in friendly states. And we looked even further in those friendly states and found that many of those people had actually voted," he continued.

"Shocking"

"It was shocking to us. If I hadn’t seen this with my own eyes, I wouldn’t believe it … it is shockingly bad," he said.

Gracias said the issue went beyond politics.

"This is not a political issue, this is about America," he said.

When a country effectively loses its borders, can it even be called a country anymore?

As Democrats once again target Melania Trump, cracks are starting to show in the facade of the party's immigrant-friendly image.

California Democrat Maxine Waters (D) launched a recent baseless attack on Melania's citizenship, suggesting she obtained it through "undocumented" parents.

Some Democrats have similarly invoked Elon Musk's South African heritage to draw a fanciful connection between apartheid and Trump's "fascism," Fox News noted.

Melania under attack

It goes without saying that these attacks are not just hateful, but incoherent and stupid.

Waters, speaking at a recent protest against Musk's DOGE initiative, accused First Lady Melania Trump of obtaining citizenship through "undocumented" parents.

"We don't know whether or not her parents were documented. And maybe we better just take a look," Waters said.

While Waters was trying to make a point about President Trump's efforts to end birthright citizenship, Melania was not born on U.S. soil. She became a naturalized citizen in 2006.

"When he [Trump] talks about birthright, and he's going to undo the fact that the Constitution allows those who are born here, even if the parents are undocumented, they have a right to stay in America. If he wants to start looking so closely to find those who were born here and their parents were undocumented, maybe he ought to first look at Melania," Waters said.

Dems bash immigrants...

Meanwhile, Musk has been at the center of controversy in the early weeks of Trump's second term.

It would be an understatement to say that Musk's role as head of DOGE has led to some hyperbolic outbursts (as well as thuggish violence.) While Democrats accuse Trump and Musk of advancing an autocratic agenda, some have gone a step further by invoking South Africa's history of apartheid.

"I think that’s a leftover from Elon Musk’s South African heritage, and maybe he’s falling too far back on the apartheid system of government that was a fascist form of government," said Rep. Gerry Connolly D (Va.) said in February.

"Here in the United States, Mr. Musk," he added, "we have three branches of government, each of them separate but coequal, and, ultimately, the judicial branch is the deciding factor when there is a dispute between the other two branches of government. That’s how our system works here."

Democrats are offering a reminder that their openness to immigration only extends to their perceived political allies. While they have embraced mass immigration as a strategy to get votes, they have no problem finding specific people of foreign extraction to hate.

Under U.S. law, before an employer can sponsor a foreign worker for permanent residency (green card) through the PERM labor certification process, they are legally required to first recruit for the job and consider all qualified U.S. workers, YES including U.S. citizens. This is not optional. It is federal law.

My process is simple. I identify PERM job listings, review the qualifications, and only apply when I clearly meet or exceed every listed requirement. In most cases, I am not just qualified, I am overqualified, with advanced degrees, certifications, and over 10 years of direct experience that wasn't faked.

So far, I have applied to over 7,000 PERM job openings (and counting) across multiple industries. Despite being fully qualified for every single one, I have been interviewed fewer than five times. In nearly every other case, I was either rejected outright or simply ignored.

Many of these employers went on to sponsor a foreign worker for the same job by filing a Form 9089. Others reposted the exact same role a few months later and ignored me again. I applied every time. This is not a coincidence. It is part of a pattern.

This behavior is not just unethical. It is illegal and discriminatory.

Under the Immigration and Nationality Act, this violates 8 U.S.C. § 1324b. I have reported many of these employers to the Department of Justice's Immigrant and Employee Rights Section. If companies want to ignore qualified American citizens, they can explain it to federal investigators.

This is not just about me. This is about thousands of American workers being pushed aside in their own country by a system that prioritizes cheap, less skilled, and always compliant foreign labor and corporate profit over fairness, merit, and the law.

If you believe Americans should come first in America, it is time to pay attention. The system is being abused. And we are blowing the whistle.

Last week, I learned several of the DOJ investigations I triggered have officially moved into the accountability phase.

That means the clock just ran out for some of you. Big Tech, your time to pay for your crimes is here.

You exploited our laws. You ignored qualified U.S. citizens. You thought no one was watching.

Wrong.

This is your warning, if you're violating PERM laws and haven't landed in my crosshairs yet, you're on borrowed time. I'd start following the laws or your next hire will be a defense attorney…Try me.

The two U.S. senators from Wyoming are co-sponsoring a plan that immediately would address the problem of leftist federal judges at the entry-court level, in district courts, who have been controlling America's nationwide security and safety policies through their injunctions.

It would simply remove their authority to issue those mandates that follow their own political agendas.

District judges were fans of the practice during President Donald Trump's first term, and immediately resumed their activism when he took office for his second term.

So far, they've issued at least 17 nationwide injunctions that prevent Trump's administration from effectively working to protect the nation's borders, its security, and its safety.

Sens. John Barrasso, the Senate majority whip, and Cynthia Lummis, both Wyoming Republicans, are working on the Judicial Relief Clarification Act, along with a couple dozen other senators.

The chief sponsor is Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, and the chief of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Already, one hearing has been held on the plan that would take away from the nation's 677 federal district judges the authority to issue nationwide injunctions, through which several of the judges have tried to control the nation's international policy and practices.

The plan would allow district judges to issue injunctions that would impact only the parties before the court.

"Essentially under JRCA, judges could not halt actions by President Donald Trump's administration on a national level," reported the Cowboy State Daily.

Barrasso explained, 'The Senate Judiciary Committee already started hearings on this legislation, and I expect it will be debated on the Senate floor soon."

The bill also would also make temporary restraining orders immediately appealable.

"Judges are not policymakers — and they have not been elected by the American people to legislate," Lummis told the publication. "Our courts should not be a tool for far-left activists to obstruct every part of President Trump's agenda."

Barrasso has warned, in support of the bill, that "partisan, unelected, district court judges" are trying to "micromanage the president of the United States."

Similar legislation is being developed in the House. There it is called the No Rogue Rulings Act.

According to the report, U.S. Rep. Harriet Hageman, R-Wyo., explained at a hearing recently that judges issuing those nationwide rulings "might be violating federal regulations related to bond."

"They have not been requiring the parties seeking the injunction to put up a bond," she explained.

"Bonds are generally required of plaintiffs seeking a temporary restraining order to cover the costs to defendants in the event that a TRO is granted, but later found to be wrongly issued," the report explained.

Hageman specifically cited James Boasberg of the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., for an injunction that purportedly barred Trump from deporting illegal alien criminals.

A federal judge has trashed a leftists' scheme that would have forced pro-life pregnancy centers to promote abortion.

Pro-life physicians also would have been targeted by the agenda.

According to a report from the Thomas More Society, U.S. District Court Judge Iain D. Johnston has released a decision in Schroeder, et al. v. Treto, Jr., and it struck down as unconstitutional a provision in the Illinois Health Care Right of Conscience Act.

That provision would have compelled pro-lifers to promote abortion "talking points" to women.

The report explained, "In striking down the HCRCA's mandate that pro-life physicians and pregnancy centers share the 'benefits of abortion,' Judge Johnston wrote, 'Constitutionally, to obtain the liability shield, the State can't require medical professionals to discuss with patients what the State believes are the benefits of abortions.'"

The court noted pro-life physicians and pregnancy centers "are required to effectively endorse a course of conduct they find morally abhorrent."

However, the judge upheld a mandate for referring for abortion, and an immediate appeal to a higher court was confirmed.

The center explained, "In 2016, Illinois passed Senate Bill 1564, amending Illinois' HCRCA to require healthcare providers to discussing abortion's 'benefits' and, upon request, referring clients to abortion providers, in order to receive legal protection for conscientious objection. The law was signed into law by then-Governor Bruce Rauner despite pushback from pro-life groups. Thomas More Society sued against both mandates, on behalf of Dr. Ronald Schroeder, 1st Way Pregnancy Support Services, and Pregnancy Aid South Suburbs. In 2017, a federal judge issued a preliminary injunction, temporarily blocking both amendments to the HCRCA—legal protection that had been in place for nearly a decade prior to final judgment."

Judy Cocks, of 1st Way Life Center and Plaintiff, said, "We're relieved that the court has permanently protected our pro-life pregnancy centers from Illinois' attempt to force us into becoming mouthpieces for the abortion industry. To share so-called 'benefits of abortion' would go against the very foundation of our ministry and our First Amendment rights. I have yet to see what the so-called 'benefits of abortion' are—what I see regularly at our centers, instead, is the pain and regret that comes with abortion. At the same time, we are deeply troubled that the court's decision upholds Illinois' abortion referral mandate. We cannot, in good conscience, recommend or refer for abortion. That's not who we are, and it hurts our hearts to even contemplate being mandated to do so."

Thomas Olp, center vice president, said, "We welcome the court's ruling striking down Illinois' attempts to force our pro-life physicians and pregnancy centers to parrot pro-abortion talking points, in violation of their First Amendment rights—a victory we've fought for since this case began nearly a decade ago. But we are greatly concerned that the court did not fully protect conscience rights, leaving our clients forced to compromise their deepest beliefs. We look forward to continuing this fight against the State of Illinois in the Seventh Circuit."

Thomas More Society litigation chief Peter Breen explained, "Thomas More Society will keep fighting to protect our heroic pro-life ministries. Forcing pro-life doctors and pregnancy centers to facilitate abortion unconstitutionally burdens their faith and conscience. We will keep fighting Illinois' abortion referral mandate and appeal to the Seventh Circuit, to ensure our pro-life clients can continue serving women and children, in accord with their faith and without penalty. This fight is far from over."

The Department of Government Efficiency arrived at the headquarters of the Peace Corps on Saturday, ready to make more cuts wherever it finds waste, fraud and abuse, NBC News reported.

“Staff from the Department of Government Efficiency are currently working at Peace Corps headquarters and the agency is supporting their requests," the Peace Corps' press office said.

While no information is yet available about areas or programs for cuts, the organization reportedly supports DOGE's efforts.

"These visits at other federal agencies have led to major funding cuts," the association said in a post to Facebook. "We don’t yet know the full impact, but we’re watching closely."

The struggle

The Corps has struggled in recent years to get enough volunteers, with its "fill rate" only at 63% in 2023.

The Senate Foreign Relations and House Foreign Affairs committees oversee the Corps's activities, which have a $430 million yearly budget.

It's a large number, but it represents only one-tenth of 1% of the federal budget.

There have been attempts to increase the budget by another $40 million or so, but the legislation has not been passed.

The organization's 3,300 volunteers work to develop and assist foreign nations in the areas of education, health, youth development, community economic development, environment and agriculture.

The volunteers do get paid something when they complete their 27 months of volunteering, typically a readjustment allowance of just over $10,000 and student loan forgiveness, among other benefits.

Cuts needed

There has traditionally been bipartisan support for its activities, but the cuts have to come from somewhere.

No doubt DOGE and the federal government will be weighing whether the benefits of the Corps outweigh the cost.

It may be something that DOGE determines is not as important as working on balancing the budget and tackling the giant pile of debt that the last few presidents have racked up.

Even if DOGE only identifies some useless cogs in the machine, it will help reach the goal of a balanced budget.

The Trump administration placed a Justice Department lawyer on indefinite paid leave for not arguing strenuously enough against allowing a Maryland man who was mistakenly deported to El Salvador back into the U.S.

Erez Reuveni was placed on leave by Attorney General Pam Bondi for not "zealously advocating" the government's position. Reuveni admitted that the U.S. made a mistake when it deported Maryland resident Kilmar Abrego Garcia last month.

At a hearing on Friday, a judge ruled that Garcia must be returned to the U.S. by Monday.

“At my direction, every Department of Justice attorney is required to zealously advocate on behalf of the United States,” Bondi told the New York Times. “Any attorney who fails to abide by this direction will face consequences.”

Emergency appeal

The Trump administration launched an emergency appeal on Saturday, arguing that U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis doesn't have the ability to force the administration to return Garcia to the U.S.

“Late Friday afternoon, a federal district judge ordered the United States to force El Salvador to send one of its citizens – a member of MS-13, no less – back to the United States by midnight on Monday. If there was ever a case for an emergency stay pending appeal, this would be it,” the government wrote.

The government no longer has "control" over Garcia after he was deported, the DOJ further argued.

Nevertheless, the court’s injunction commands that Defendants accomplish, somehow, Abrego Garcia’s return to the United States in give or take one business day,” the appeal said, calling it “indefensible.”

Garcia's claims

The DOJ claimed that Garcia was a member of MS-13, but he has denied this, according to other reports.

In fact, an immigration judge ruled five years ago that Garcia could not be deported because he would be in danger from gang activity in El Salvador.

Garcia entered the country in 2011, and at the time of his deportation he was married to an American citizen and had a child. He was also working as a sheet metal fabricator.

He was arrested in front of his son, who was in the car in an IKEA parking lot where he was detained.

DHS claims

In an NPR interview on Monday, Assistant Secretary for public affairs at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Tricia McLaughlin said that multiple judges had viewed classified information and confirmed that Garcia was an MS-13 gang member.

"I think the bottom line for the American people and for those who are listening today is that this individual in question, who's an MS-13 gang member, he should be behind bars, whether it be in El Salvador or in a U.S. detention facility," she said. "He should not be on the streets of America. And to remind listeners, MS-13 is a gang that murders, rapes, traffics drugs. They maim for sport. These are individuals we do not want in our country, especially those who are here illegally."

Three more people have died in California from hantavirus, the same rare but serious mouse-borne disease that killed Betsy Arakawa, Gene Hackman's wife, in New Mexico in February.

The deaths all occurred in the rural California town of Mammoth Lakes, and public health officials are worried about further illnesses and deaths from the disease.

Mono County Public Health called the deaths both "tragic" and "alarming."

“The occurrence of three cases in a short period has me worried,” Mono County Public Health Officer Dr. Tom Boo said.

How it spreads

When hantavirus is present, it occurs in the urine, droppings and saliva of infected mice, according to the CDC. In America, it infects deer mice.

The disease cannot be passed from person to person, it usually manifests after humans have contact with infected mouse secretions or they inhale vaporized secretions that have gotten into the air.

This often occurs when people clean up mouse-infested areas with a vacuum or a broom. Two of the California deaths happened just this way, officials have determined.

One victim vacuumed rodent droppings, while another had a known mouse infestation in their home.

Hantavirus can manifest in two ways: hantavirus pulmonary syndrome (HPS), which affects the lungs and breathing, and hantavirus fever with renal syndrome (HFRS), which causes kidney failure in some cases.

About 38% of those who contract HPS die from the disease (good thing it's so rare); while 1-15% of those with HFRS die from it.

A puzzle

Police and health officials are puzzled by the third person who died of hantavirus; there was no known infestation or contact with rodents in this case.

Before you start freaking out, hantavirus is rare. There are only 20 to 50 cases of it in the U.S. in a given year, but having this many deaths from it so early in the year is unusual.

There is no known connection between Arakawa's death in New Mexico and the ones in California.

Still, having so many cases so early in the year is unusual; most hantavirus cases occur in later spring and summer, officials said.

At the coronation of King Charles III in May 2023, Prince Harry's candid comments revealed ongoing rifts within the royal family.

The tension among the British monarchy members was palpable as Prince Harry conveyed discontent with his treatment during the ceremony, drawing attention to unresolved family disputes," PageSix reported

During the highly anticipated coronation of King Charles III, the atmosphere between certain royal family members was tense. Prince Harry, attending the event amid ongoing familial tension, was reportedly observed making critical remarks about the royal family. Noted lip reader Jeremy Freeman identified a series of exchanges between Harry and his cousin Jack Brooksbank, as they sat together during the coronation.

Coronation Amplifies Family Divisions

The discord within the family, particularly involving Prince Harry, has roots tracing back several years. Since beginning his relationship with Meghan Markle in 2016, Harry's bond with his father, King Charles, and his brother, Prince William, has been strained.

The couple's exit from royal duties in 2020, followed by their relocation to California, further exacerbated tensions with the monarchy.

The couple's revelations during the Oprah Winfrey interview in 2021 brought additional issues into public view. In Harry’s candid conversation with Brooksbank during the coronation, he reportedly voiced frustration by stating, "I'm fed up with the way they treat me." This exchange with Brooksbank added fuel to the ongoing narrative of familial discord.

Deeper Insight Into Royal Turmoil

The tensions were further explored with the publication of Prince Harry's book, "Spare," earlier in 2023. The book illuminated more personal aspects of his experiences within the royal family and became a point of public intrigue. In his recent exchanges, Harry reportedly expressed feelings of neglect, saying, "They don’t care," to which Brooksbank responded, highlighting his own stance on the situation.

Despite these personal revelations, attempts at mending the fractured familial ties have been made. The Sussexes initiated efforts to reconcile with King Charles in 2023, though no substantial resolution has emerged. Harry's presence at the coronation marked his first public appearance alongside the royal family since Queen Elizabeth II’s passing.

Prince Harry's Seating Arrangement

Protocol at the coronation dictated that Harry did not don military dress, as this is traditionally reserved only for those actively serving in the royal duties. Instead, he was situated in the third row, alongside his cousins. Meghan Markle chose to stay in California with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, during the historic occasion.

The coronation, a significant event for the monarchy, brought these longstanding familial issues into the spotlight once again. Historical ruptures simmered beneath the surface, obscurely highlighted by Harry's candid commentary. The situation during the event underscores a lingering discontent within the royal family, most prominently between Harry and the core monarchy.

Efforts At Reconciliation Fall Short

Despite being a momentous occasion for King Charles, the underlying familial discord was noticeable. Prince Harry's remarks reflect a broader struggle, one drawn from years of unresolved tension and public scrutiny. While his comments carry personal weight, they also spotlight the complexity of navigating familial relationships under the scrutiny of global attention.

Such remarks have captured the fascination of a global audience, emblematic of the tension that runs through the royal lineage. The apparent paucity of resolution continues to generate speculation and interest worldwide.

As the royal family attempts to reconcile, the historical and ongoing turbulence remains of significant public interest.

The turbulence within the monarchy continues to unfold publicly, as family members attempt to navigate internal conflicts amid the expectations of tradition and duty.

'He had to read the paper he was given to understand the sign he was holding'

Were the weekend "Hands Off!" demonstrations protesting President Donald Trump and his DOGE leader Elon Musk authentic?

Videos emerging on social media are casting doubt, as some of the protesters apparently had no idea why they were there.

On Saturday, as the Associated Press reported, the events "were organized for more than 1,200 locations in all 50 states by more than 150 groups, including civil rights organizations, labor unions, LBGTQ+ advocates, veterans and elections activists."
"Thousands of protesters in cities dotting the nation from Midtown Manhattan to Anchorage, Alaska, including at multiple state capitols, assailed Trump and billionaire Elon Musk's actions on government downsizing, the economy, immigration and human rights. On the West Coast, in the shadow of Seattle's iconic Space Needle, protesters held signs with slogans like 'Fight the oligarchy.' Protesters chanted as they took to the streets in Portland, Oregon, and Los Angeles, where they marched from Pershing Square to City Hall."

But videos posted on social media suggest the events were artificial, with people being paid and bussed-in, with little idea about the reason for their presence.

Journalist Mario Nawfal said they were "staged & paid – bussed-in, scripted, clocked-out."

"The anti-Elon, anti-DOGE, anti-Trump protests in D.C.? They aren't grassroots. They are payroll-driven theater.

"- Buses rolled in packed with hired protesters.
"- Pre-made signs handed out assembly-line style.
"- Scripts distributed to keep messaging "on brand."
"- Protesters all left at once—just like a shift change.

"The protests are organized astroturf—NGO-backed, donor-funded, and as fake as their outrage.
"It's a union of grifters and bureaucrats trying to stop Elon from cutting off their taxpayer-funded gravy train."
He also noted: "TESLA PROTESTERS PAID UP TO $200 BY INDIVISIBLE."
"A now-deleted webpage published by the organization offered to pay groups up to $200 to stage protests against Tesla and Elon."
Musk himself reacted to comments and videos posted by others such as the Western Lensman, who noted: "They have no clue why they are there, and they have no clue what their signs even mean."
Musk said of one protester: "He had to read the paper he was given to understand the sign he was holding."
He added: "The problem is the puppetmasters, not the puppets, as the latter have no idea why they are even there."
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani posted: "Protesters hold up signs and symbols portraying Elon Musk as a literal Nazi, yet they cannot articulate why. They resort to yelling, screaming, intimidation and censorship."
