One of the two major administration agenda points for Joe Biden's regime, during the four years he was in the White House, was abortion. The other was transgenderism.

On abortion, he promoted it everywhere he could, in the United States and around the world.

He tried to impose abortion requirements on unwilling targets of his political agenda, and one of those was the community of emergency room physicians.

Biden's administration simply reinterpreted a federal law, which actually provides protections for the "unborn child," to insist that emergency room physicians had to perform abortions, essentially on demand by a patient.

Now President Donald Trump has reversed that reinterpretation.

His administration announced it is revoking a "guidance" to hospitals that ordered them to do "emergency abortions" for women, on the condition that was "necessary" to stabilize their medical condition.

It was in 2022, shortly after the U.S. Supreme Court threw out the faulty Roe v. Wade precedent that incorrectly created a constitutional "right" to abortion that the Biden administration retaliated.

Its guidance said to preserve abortion access for cases in which women were experiencing medical emergencies and needed an immediate abortion, ER doctors must commit abortion.

Marjorie Dannenfelser, of SBA Pro-Life America, said the move was one of the ways Biden tried to push abortion into states where there are legal and constitutional limits.

"Democrats have created confusion on this fact to justify their extremely unpopular agenda for all-trimester abortion. In situations where every minute counts, their lies lead to delayed care and put women in needless, unacceptable danger," she said.

Lawyers with the ADF also confirmed they had filed a voluntary dismissal of a lawsuit against the Biden actions.

The case, Catholic Medical Association v. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, argued that the Biden orders under the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act overstepped Biden's statutory authority and violated members' conscience rights.

"Doctors—especially in emergency rooms—are tasked with preserving life. The Trump administration has rolled back a harmful Biden-era mandate that compelled doctors to end unborn lives, in violation of their deeply held beliefs," said ADF lawyer Matt Bowman.

"Emergency room physicians can and do treat life-threatening conditions such as ectopic pregnancies, and every state allows doctors to do whatever is necessary to preserve the life of a mother. Now, doctors will be able to perform their life-giving duties without fear of government officials forcing them to end life and violate their beliefs."

It was Biden's HHS secretary, Xavier Becerra, who claimed he could override state laws regarding abortion to demand ER doctors perform the procedures.

There was a court case that challenged the approval by the Food and Drug Administration of the use of mifepristone, the abortion drug that is widely used as a replacement for surgical abortions.

The Supreme Court ruled that the drug should be available, but the ruling was on very narrow grounds, and was based only on the court's claim the pro-life physicians who brought to challenge didn't show they had been harmed personally because it would be others who actually used the drug.

Now there's going to be a new review of the drug by the FDA itself.

Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., who has advocated for tighter controls over the use of such chemicals, posted on social media that the FDA chief, Marty Makary, "just committed to me to do a full review of the chemical abortion drug's safety."

Makary said, in fact, the FDA "continues to closely monitor the postmarketing safety data on mifepristone for the medical termination of early pregnancy."

"I am committed to conducting a review of mifepristone and working with the professional career scientists at the agency who review this data," Makary said. He explained mifepristone remains the subject of "pending litigation," and the FDA doesn't comment on such matters, so he cannot provide more details now.

report in the Washington Examiner said Hawley has been pushing for the FDA to take such action.

"The review comes after Hawley and anti-abortion groups slammed Makary in April after he said he had 'no plans to take action' regarding FDA regulations on mifepristone that have allowed healthcare providers to ship the abortifacient to patients in other states, irrespective of state laws prohibiting elective abortions," the report explained.

Those actions, by abortion businesses who sell and ship drugs even to states which have abortion limits following the Supreme Court's rejection of the faulty Roe abortion standard that was used for years, have been exploding.

There have been problems because drugs shipped into a state with those limits don't always comply with that state's abortion restrictions.

In chemical abortions, mifepristone blocks the hormone progesterone, causing the death of the unborn child.

The FDA in 2016 made its rules on the drug lax, allowing its use for chemical abortions and no longer requiring abortionists involved to report complications.

Then Joe Biden removed in-person screening requirements for patients to obtain the medication, allowing healthcare providers to ship mifepristone to patients in other states without a physical consultation.

But the report noted a study from the Ethics and Public Policy Center pointing out that "severe complications" from the abortion drug use is "22 times higher than FDA data indicate."

When the Supreme Court ruled on the dispute over the lethal drug regarding the physician plaintiffs, several state attorneys general said they would continue the case on their own.

The Miss America Organization and a related operation, the Miss Florida Scholarship Program, have been accused of failing to live up to an oral contract, misstating science and ignoring state law in their pro-LGBT ideology.

The dispute erupted because the organizations entered into an oral agreement with Kayleigh Bush when she won the Miss North Florida title, "where there had been no mention or public-facing materials put forth by the organization indicating they subscribed to this 'false' definition of 'female,'" then submitted a paper contract for her to sign that violates her faith and defies science and the law.

In fact, according to the science, being male or female is embedded in the human body to the DNA level, and does not change.

The report is according to Liberty Counsel, which twice has asked the organizations to alter their contract, and twice has been refused.

Mat Staver, Liberty Counsel chief, said, "We commend Kayleigh Bush for taking a stand and refusing to sign the Miss America Organization's contract that is infused with false gender ideology. A contract that defines 'female' to include boys 14-18 who have been medically castrated is an abandonment of reality and an endorsement of harming children. Kayleigh Bush should have her crown restored and these types of reprehensible contracts must be stopped."

The pageant corporations were told by Liberty Counsel, "Miss Florida, Inc. is in apparent breach of its oral agreement with [Bush], over terms that are void under Florida law and public policy."

The letter states the MAO contract "contradicts Florida's legal definition of 'sex', which classifies people as 'either male or female' based on the human body's 'specific reproductive role,' including 'sex chromosomes, naturally occurring sex hormones, and internal and external genitalia present at birth.'"

Further, Liberty Counsel explained, the contract's definition of "female" "ignores current, enforceable Florida law prohibiting sterilization and castration of minors under the guise of 'sex-reassignment prescriptions or procedures.'"

"A contract which violates a provision of the Florida Constitution or a Florida statute is void and illegal, and will not be enforced in Florida courts," the legal team told the corporations.

The report notes Attorney General Pam Bondi released only days ago a "scathing memorandum" criticizing the "'barbaric practice' of chemically castrating and surgically mutilating children."

That aligns with President Donald Trump's January executive order that withdraws all federal funding for puberty blockers, hormones, or irreversible mutilating surgeries for minors, and directs rigorous enforcement of all laws to protect children from these destructive and life-altering procedures, the report said.

Transgender ideologies are "junk science," Bondi confirmed.

Confronted with the transgender ideology is a pageant contract, which wildly insists that "castrated males" are, in fact, "females," Bush refused to sign, and the corporations then stripped her of her title.

In fact, "The contract requires female beauty candidates to agree to compete against biological males – who have been subjected to medical mutilation as minor boys – and agree that these mutilated males are 'female,'" the report said.

The legal team also pointed out such requirements were not in the oral agreement, and a pageant participant "would not expect to be presented with an overtly false definition of 'female' after otherwise performing all other conditions to the oral agreement."

Elon Musk, President Trump's former chief of DOGE, held nothing back over his opposition to the Republicans' "Big Beautiful Bill" Tuesday, posting on his platform X that is outrageous and "a disgusting abomination."

Wrote Musk: "I'm sorry, but I just can't stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it."

Besides increasing spending, the bill raises the federal debt ceiling by $5 trillion. U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., one of two GOP votes against the bill in the House had a two-word reply to Musk's post: "He's right."

In recent days, Musk has distanced himself from the administration, both officially and in his comments about the massive spending bill.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was asked about Musk's post during Tuesday's press briefing, dismissing the complaint and emphasizing that President Trump is "sticking to" his promotion of the bill, which the House passed and is pending in the U.S. Senate.

Meanwhile, Trump is slamming Republican senators who have vowed not to support the bill, Tuesday targeting Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky.

"Rand votes NO on everything, but never has any practical or constructive ideas," Trump posted Tuesday on Truth Social. "His ideas are actually crazy (losers!). The people of Kentucky can't stand him. This is a BIG GROWTH BILL!"

Paul posted earlier, "I want to see the tax cuts made permanent, but I also want to see the $5 trillion in new debt removed from the bill. At least 4 of us in the Senate feel this way."

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) was once considered to be a quirky but rising star within the Democratic Party who had real prospects to be a leader -- at least so long as he generally adhered to the party's narratives and progressive agenda.

Now, the editorial board of the premier legacy media newspaper in Pennsylvania is demanding that the senator take his job "seriously" or "step away" from it entirely, The Guardian reported.

That ultimatum from the media coincides with multiple recent hit pieces that question his mental health status and dedication to his duties, which are little more than thinly veiled attacks against Fetterman over his newfound independent streak and willingness to buck the party's narratives and agenda on certain issues.

Fetterman under attack from the left, again

On Sunday, The Philadelphia Inquirer's Editorial Board published a scathing rebuke of Sen. Fetterman over allegations that he is "less interested" in doing the job he was elected to do than he is in enjoying the many benefits that come along with it.

"He has missed more votes than nearly every other senator in the past two years. He regularly skips committee hearings, cancels meetings, avoids the daily caucus lunches with colleagues, and rarely goes on the Senate floor," the outlet asserted, along with complaints that Fetterman refuses to hold town hall events with constituents to avoid being heckled.

The Board further noted the high rate of staff turnover in the senator's office, as well as the largely anonymously sourced allegations of concerns from current and former aides about his physical and mental health, about how "disengaged" he is at times, and how he is often absent or spends abnormal amounts of time alone, among other things.

Time for Fetterman to get serious or go away, newspaper says

"Being an elected official comes with public scrutiny. If Fetterman can’t handle the attention or perform his job, then in the best interest of the country and the nearly 13 million residents of Pennsylvania he represents, he should step aside," the Inquirer's Editorial Board asserted. "After all, being an elected representative is a privilege, not an entitlement. Being a U.S. senator is a serious job that requires full-time engagement."

The Board proceeded to chastise the senator for his behavior and excuses for his absences, including wanting to spend more time with his children and ailing father, and snarkily listed off many of the benefits he enjoys as a senator that most Pennsylvanians will never get to experience.

The Editors eventually let the mask slip and revealed the real underlying reason for this and other recent media attacks on Fetterman -- his openness to working with President Donald Trump and Republicans on areas of agreement and his unabashed support for Israel versus Hamas in Palestinian-occupied Gaza.

"It’s time for Fetterman to serve Pennsylvanians, or step away," the piece ultimately concluded.

"I’m here. I’m doing that job."

The Guardian reported that Sen. Fetterman, in a Fox News-hosted bipartisan discussion and debate with colleague Sen. Dave McCormick (R-PA), pushed back against the allegations against him and said, "For me, it’s very clear, it’s just part of like this weird -- this weird smear. The more kinds of, left kind of media continues to have these kinds of an attack, and it’s just part of a smear, and that’s just not -- it’s just not accurate."

"I’m here. I’m doing that job. For me, if I miss some of those quotes -- I mean some of those votes -- I’ve made 90 percent of them and, and we all know those votes that I’ve missed were on Monday; those are travel days, and I have three young kids, and I -- those are throwaway procedural votes," he added, according to Politico. "That’s a choice that I made, and if you want to attack me for that, go ahead."

Politico observed that Fetterman also claimed that, when it comes to missed votes, his leftist colleagues Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Patty Murray (D-WA) had worse attendance records than him, but per GovTrack's statistics, that simply isn't the case.

Over the course of their decades-long careers, Sanders and Murray have missed votes approximately 13.4% and 2.6%, respectively -- the lifetime median for all senators is 2.9% -- while Fetterman's absentee rate is marked at 18.1%.

Sen Rand Paul (R-KY) said Monday that even after discussions with President Donald Trump over the weekend about his "big beautiful bill," he plans to vote no because of the $5 trillion debt ceiling increase, which he believes will increase deficit spending too much.

"We have never raised the debt ceiling without actually meeting that target," he told reporters. "So you can say it doesn't directly add to the debt, but if you increase the ceiling $5 trillion, you'll meet that. And what it does is it puts it off the back-burner. And then we won't discuss it for a year or two."

The increase is the largest in the country's history.

"So I think it's a terrible idea to do this," he added.

"Just not conservative"

Paul said he would likely support the rest of the bill if the debt ceiling increase was removed and considered separately.

Paul said that the country is still spending at Biden-GOP spending levels because of an agreement in March to avert a government shutdown, which will result in $2.2 trillion in deficit spending when the fiscal year ends in September.

That's just not conservative," he added. "They're borrowing 5 trillion. That means they're anticipating the following year being over 2 trillion as well. So it's just not a conservative thing to do."

Trump responds

Trump said that if Paul and other Republicans vote against the bill and block it, they will damage the economy and raise taxes.

"If Senator Rand Paul votes against our Great, Big, Beautiful Bill, he is voting for, along with the Radical Left Democrats, a 68% Tax Increase and, perhaps even more importantly, a first time ever default on U.S. Debt," he wrote on his Truth Social platform.

"Rand will be playing right into the hands of the Democrats, and the GREAT people of Kentucky will never forgive him! The GROWTH we are experiencing, plus some cost-cutting later on, will solve ALL problems. America will be greater than ever before!" he added.

He may have the votes

Paul is correct in that continued deficit spending will not be good for the economy in the long run.

It's a long shot that we could grow our way out of a $2-plus trillion a year deficit plus $34 trillion in existing debt.

Furthermore, kicking the spending cut can down the road again is exactly what all presidents, Democrat or Republican, have been doing for decades now.

Paul said he thinks he has the votes to prevent the bill from passing. "I think there are four of us at this point, and I would be very surprised if the bill at least is not modified in a good direction," he said.

Former President Bill Clinton has stepped into the fray, dismissing claims of President Joe Biden's cognitive decline, Breitbart reported.

During a conversation on "CBS Sunday Morning," Clinton confidently countered concerns over Biden’s age, expressing his belief in the president's ongoing ability to perform in office.

This discourse arose when Clinton was featured in a recent interview with reporter Tracy Smith. Smith broached the subject by referencing a book that has sparked discussions on Biden's health, alleging cognitive and physical deterioration.

Clinton Confident in Biden’s Capabilities

Clinton was quick to reject any notions of decline. He maintained that President Biden remains effective in his role, emphasizing Biden's diligence and preparation.

"No," Clinton responded bluntly when asked about the validity of these claims. He went on to reflect on his personal observations and conversations with Biden over time.

His comments came in response to Smith’s inquiry, where Clinton shrugged off the allegations as unfounded. "He was always on top of his briefs," Clinton conveyed, underscoring Biden's grasp on presidential responsibilities.

Unfazed by Election-Related Accusations

Clinton further elaborated on his perspective during the interview by confirming he hasn't read the disputed book. Nevertheless, he did not shy away from offering his insights into Biden's current condition.

"I saw President Biden not very long ago, and I thought he was in good shape," he asserted, drawing from their recent meeting.

Despite not having delved into the book himself, this perception was enough for Clinton to confidently dispute its arguments. He suggested the subjects tackled in the book were attempts to divert from broader political challenges.

Consistent Support for the Current President

In a reflective tone, Clinton also addressed the broader political landscape. He suggested some political actors might be seizing on these claims to cast blame on Biden in the context of former President Trump's potential re-election.

"Some people are trying to use this as a way to blame him for the fact that Trump was reelected," Clinton noted, pointing to the political undercurrents surrounding these accusations.

Throughout the discussion, Clinton's emphasis remained on Biden's capabilities and contributions as president. This focus provided a stark contrast to narratives depicting the president as faltering due to age.

Bringing Conversations Back to the Present

Clinton emphasized that any task of governing at Biden's age is inherently challenging. He reflected on the various discussions he's shared with Biden, reiterating his unwavering confidence in Biden's abilities despite these concerns.

"Could anybody do that job until they were 86?" Clinton pondered rhetorically, acknowledging the demanding nature of the highest office.

However, from his numerous interactions and observations, Clinton remarked that he never felt Biden was unable to carry out his vital duties. He mentioned that Biden has consistently demonstrated a strong command of his responsibilities.

Michelle Obama is fueling fresh speculation about her personal life after making some baffling remarks about childbirth.

While airing her latest grievances on her new podcast, the Former First Lady made the bizarre claim that making babies is the "least" function of a woman's reproductive system.

Obama bemoaned the state of discourse on women's reproductive health, claiming women are not receiving the priority they should from lawmakers who care "just about the fetus."

Obama's baffling comment

"Women's reproductive health is about our life," she added. "It's about this whole complicated reproductive system that the least of what it does is produce life."

"It's a very important thing that it does, but you only produce life if the machine that's producing it — if you want to whittle us down to a machine — if the machine is functioning in a healthy, streamlined kind of way. But there is no discussion or apparent connection between the two."

The remarks have sparked fresh backlash, with critics accusing Obama of disparaging childbirth and the women who embrace the role of mother.

Besides being offensive to many, Obama's comments are also just plain odd.

The reproductive system is for .... reproduction. What else does she think it's for?

Speculation renews

Her failure to grasp this basic concept has led to speculation online, where rumors have long circulated about her husband's sexuality.

Alex Marlow, Breitbart editor-in-chief, confessed he would need to investigate claims that Michelle Obama did not have her own children.

"The least of what a women’s body does and their reproductive system is produce life? I don’t know how you can say this and no one caught her…there [are] lots of rumors online that she did not have her own children, that she had surrogates…I’ve never really gone down that rabbit hole, but now I’m compelled to do so, because she says so matter of fact that women are — having a baby is the least a woman does with their [reproductive system]," Marlow said on the Alex Marlow Show.

Michelle Obama has been open about her fertility challenges, which led her to use IVF to conceive her two daughters. There is no evidence that we know of that she used surrogacy.

There may be less to Obama's comments than some think. It is no secret that she is a career-driven narcissist who sees children as a burden to be suffered and perhaps avoided if possible. Maybe she really convinced herself of the nonsense she is spouting here, simply because she finds it to be validating.

All we can say for certain is that Michelle Obama should never be taken seriously, under any circumstances.

The Commerce Department released details on Friday confirming that inflation remains very low – at 2.1% for the Personal Consumption Expenditures index, a mark that is almost exactly at the goal of the federal government to keep it in the 2% range.

While various economists are claiming that inflation will reach 3.5% by year's end, the report on Friday confirmed the 2.1% rate from April 2024 to last month, lower than forecasts by those experts of 2.2%.

The report said Core PCE inflation, which is the Federal Reserve's favored measure of price changes as it excludes more volatile food and energy categories, was 2.5% in April, lower than projections of 2.6%.

A report from the Daily Caller News Foundation described the results as "an economic victory" for President Donald Trump.

The rate was "at a level not seen since March 2021," the report said.

The index measuring goods and services showed an increase of $47.8 billion, or 0.2%, with gains in housing and health care, the Bureau of Economic Analysis said.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt explained the numbers show that the White House economic agenda "is working."

"Inflation has slowed noticeably since President Trump took office, and that means relief for the average American who has suffered under years of the Biden administration's cost-of-living crisis," EJ Antoni, chief economist at the Heritage Foundation, told the DCNF. "Not only did the annual rate of increase in the core PCE price index for April hit its lowest level since March 2021, but annual inflation as measured by the headline PCE price index hasn't been lower since February 2021."

Under Joe Biden's regime in Washington, inflation exploded to as high as 9.1% for American consumers, and while Trump's work has slowed that increase, the prices that surged under Biden still remain at elevated levels.

The Daily Caller News Foundation reported, "51% of respondents to a Harvard University Center for American Political Studies/Harris poll released earlier this month said they believe the economy is 'strong' under the Trump administration."

When billionaire Elon Musk, whose Tesla, X and SpaceX companies routinely lead the nation in tech accomplishments, started working with President Donald Trump on the Department of Government Efficiency, he said he hoped to save taxpayers a trillion dollars, or more.

The DOGE plan, after all, was to cut out corruption, fraud and waste in government spending, and it has been on the job since Trump's inauguration, already saving, according to estimates, each taxpayer about $1,000.

One tracking software estimated DOGE already had saved Americans about $170 billion.

As his position as a temporary federal government employee expired, Musk said that still is within reach.

He pointed out that the official end of the DOGE program is scheduled for mid-2026, and added, "We do expect to achieve over time the trillion dollars of savings."

He said, "With the support of the president and Congress, could we achieve a trillion dollars of savings? I think so. We're on track to do so."

report at the Post-Millennial said Trump and Musk held a press conference in the Oval Office Friday, with Trump congratulating the tech billionaire for his work.

They both emphasized that while Musk's "employment" is concluding, he'll still be advising the president.

Trump also said he wants to make the DOGE cuts permanent, which would require action on the part of Congress.

Trump explained, "He's one of the greatest business leaders and innovators the world has ever produced. He stepped forward to put his very great talents into the service of our nation, and we appreciate it. Elon has worked tirelessly, helping lead the most sweeping and consequential government reform program in generations."

WND reported earlier when Musk thanked Trump.
