A recent indictment in Texas has brought allegations of electoral fraud against a Democrat judge into the public eye.

Judge Rochelle Lozano Camacho, along with five other individuals, stands accused of manipulating the electoral process during her 2022 primary campaign, raising concerns over voting integrity in Texas, as the Daily Caller reports.

Camacho has been indicted on three counts related to vote harvesting, a practice that is illegal in Texas and classified as a third-degree felony. The charges allege that this vote-harvesting scheme was orchestrated to influence the outcome of her 2022 primary runoff.

The allegations first came to light after Mary Moore, Camacho's opponent in the Democratic Party primary runoff, filed a complaint in 2022. Moore asserted that Camacho had enlisted the services of a Democratic Party operative tasked with improperly handling mail ballots and swaying voters in her favor.

Investigations shed light on claims

The complaint led to an investigation into the activities of Judge Camacho and her complicity in the alleged vote-harvesting scheme. According to the investigation findings, the operative allegedly received payment in the range of $1,500 to $2,500. This payment was purportedly for services that included the collection of mail ballots, the completion of applications, and the transportation of voters.

Additionally, the investigation revealed that Camacho targeted elderly voters residing in a Pearsall subdivision. One of her alleged accomplices reportedly concealed ballots and utilized multiple vehicles to further the operation. This strategy of targeting particular demographics highlights the calculated nature of the alleged scheme.

Elevating the gravity of the situation is the fact that Camacho narrowly won her primary runoff by just 72 votes out of a total of 322 ballots cast. This narrow victory has further fueled allegations that the vote-harvesting scheme significantly impacted the election results.

Arrests made as investigation progressed

The list of those indicted alongside Camacho includes key figures such as her sister, the county's trustee, the election administrator, and two members of the Pearsall city council, as well as another woman. This wide-reaching indictment underscores the potential depth and complexity of the alleged voter fraud scheme within the community.

On May 2, authorities moved swiftly, resulting in the arrest of all suspects except for Judge Camacho, who is expected to be processed at a later date. The charges filed are significant, given vote harvesting's potential to undermine democratic processes and the severe legal penalties associated with such acts.

In 2020, similar charges emerged when the attorney general's office accused four individuals of vote harvesting, highlighting ongoing concerns over election integrity in Texas. Past incidents have included a county commissioner and pointed to systemic vulnerabilities that the authorities remain vigilant to address.

Political fallout mounts

The indictment of Judge Camacho has sparked a wave of political and legal reactions. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton weighed in on the developments, underscoring the seriousness of the charges. “Elected officials who think they can cheat to stay in power will be held accountable. No one is above the law,” Paxton stated.

The attorney general's comments resonate with broader public sentiment emphasizing accountability among elected officials. The allegations, if proven, could serve to reinforce trust in the legal system's ability to address electoral fraud without bias.

Vote harvesting, as defined under Texas law, carries substantial penalties, including potential prison time of up to 10 years and fines reaching $10,000. These penalties resonate with the gravity of maintaining clean and fair elections, a cornerstone of democracy that the state continues to uphold vigorously.

Legal proceedings commence

Looking ahead, the legal proceedings against Camacho and her co-defendants will be closely monitored. The courts will face the challenging task of navigating through the accusations to determine their veracity, ensuring justice is served in line with state laws.

Community reactions remain divided, with some expressing disbelief at the allegations, while others call for stringent measures to prevent such incidents in the future. The case serves as a stark reminder of the vigilance required to safeguard electoral integrity in all local, state, and federal elections. As the proceedings advance, this case could become a pivotal example highlighting the importance of transparent election processes and the role of the judiciary in upholding these standards.

In a shocking twist, President Donald Trump has chosen Fox News personality Jeanine Pirro to be serve as the top prosecutor in Washington, D.C., at least for the time being.

Pirro, a steadfast supporter and good friend of Trump's, is a former prosecutor and judge from Westchester County, New York.

"During her time in office, Jeanine was a powerful crusader for victims of crime. Her establishment of the Domestic Violence Bureau in her Prosecutor's Office was the first in the Nation," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Pirro gets the nod

While Pirro has yet to comment on her new role as interim U.S. attorney in D.C., Fox News confirmed that she has left her job at the network, where she was co-hosting The Five.

"Jeanine Pirro has been a wonderful addition to The Five over the last three years and a longtime beloved host across FOX News Media who contributed greatly to our success throughout her 14-year tenure. We wish her all the best in her new role in Washington," a spokesperson for FOX News Media said in a statement.

Before her career in media, Pirro was the first woman ever elected as County Court Judge and District Attorney in Westchester County.

"Jeanine is incredibly well qualified for this position, and is considered one of the Top District Attorneys in the History of the State of New York. She is in a class by herself. Congratulations Jeanine!" Trump wrote.

Steadfast supporter of president

At Fox News, Pirro became known for her vocal Trump support and blistering commentary on crime, first as a host of her own show, Justice with Judge Jeanine, which ran for 11 years, and then as a regular host on The Five, one of the most popular shows in cable news.

Pirro has been a steadfast defender of Trump through some of his toughest moments, publicly backing him during the Access Hollywood controversy that erupted before the 2016 presidential election.

Trump called for Pirro's Fox News show to be reinstated after she was suspended in 2019 following comments about Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN)

Pirro is not the first Fox News personality to get a job in the new Trump administration. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is also a former host at the network.

Martin's name withdrawn

Pirro will replace Trump's original pick for U.S. attorney in D.C., Ed Martin. Trump confirmed Thursday that he was pulling Martin from consideration for a permanent role after it became clear he did not have enough votes in the Senate.

"He wasn't getting the support from people that I thought," Trump told reporters at the White House. "You know, he's done a very good job. Crime is down 25% in D.C. during this period of time… I can only lift that little phone so many times of the day. But we have somebody else."

Republicans, especially Thom Tillis (NC), were uncomfortable with Martin's sympathy for Jan. 6 protesters.

Martin's term as interim prosecutor is up on May 20, but Trump said he will have a new role at the Justice Department investigating the "weaponization" of government under the "Biden regime."

Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-CA) wealth is coming under fresh scrutiny as members of Congress once again float a ban on letting lawmakers trade stock -- with President Donald Trump voicing support for such restrictions.

The PELOSI Act, proposed by Republican Sen. Josh Hawley (MO), would bar members of Congress and their family members from trading most stocks.

Pelosi inspires stock ban

Pelosi's remarkable success at beating the market has long raised eyebrows, placing her at the center of a recurring debate on banning Congress from the stock market.

The California Democrat has defended her right to participate in the stock market on free market principles, despite her access to privileged information.

The influential lawmaker is among the wealthiest members of Congress, deriving most of her fortune from her husband's investments.

Hawley, in an interview with Breitbart, said that it strains credulity to assert Pelosi acquired her millions through honest means.

"And here’s the thing, Nancy Pelosi and her husband last year, in 2024, beat every hedge fund in the nation, practically. So, either Nancy Pelosi is a mathematical and financial analyst genius… or maybe, maybe the information that she’s privy to turns out to be pretty darn valuable," Hawley said.

“And everybody knows it’s the second thing. It’s just outrageous,” he added.

Trump weighs in

Hawley's bill comes with strict disclosure requirements, and it also bans lawmakers and their family members from trading individual stocks, so the Pelosis would be noticeably affected. Lawmakers could still invest in diversified mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, or U.S. Treasury bonds.

“If you’re a member of Congress, you shouldn’t be up here day trading,” Hawley said. “You should be focused on your job.”

“If they violate the provisions, if they trade individual stock, if they own individual stock, they have to disgorge all of the profits and pay a financial penalty on top,” Hawley explained. “That’s the only way we’re going to get this stopped,” he said.

While the public broadly supports moves like Hawley's, Congress has -- not surprisingly -- shown little sustained interest in regulating itself. But the momentum could shift with Trump back in the White House.

The fact that one of his worst enemies is the public face of insider trading in Washington could motivate Trump to act. Of course, Trump has much bigger priorities, and Congress still needs to make the first move.

“Well, I watched Nancy Pelosi get rich through insider information, and I would be okay with it. If they send that to me, I would do it,” Trump told TIME magazine.

President Donald Trump's relationship with Israel appears to be at a turning point, with reports that he is "disappointed" with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Trump is said to be angry with Netanyahu after he pushed the White House to dismantle Iran's nuclear program with military action, according to Hebrew language outlet Israel Hayom.

The outlet noted that Trump has decided to pursue America's objectives in the Middle East without "waiting" for input from Israel.

Trump sours on Netanyahu

Trump's change in attitude has been made clear by his recent moves in the Middle East, which have taken Israel by surprise.

This week, Trump announced a cease-fire between the U.S. and the Iran-backed Houthi rebels who have been harassing ships in the Red Sea. Trump agreed to stop bombing the Houthis if they cease targeting U.S. interests in the region, but the Houthis have not made a commitment to stop attacking Israel. In response to the deal, Netanyahu said that Israel would "defend ourselves alone."

The Houthi cease-fire comes after Trump announced "direct" talks between the U.S. and Iran over a nuclear agreement. Trump broke the news while seated next to Netanyahu in the Oval Office.

According to Israel Hayom, Trump is angry about Netanyahu's perceived efforts to push Mike Waltz, the president's former national security adviser, to take military action against Iran. Waltz's interactions with Netanyahu also reportedly played a role in Trump's decision to oust Waltz from the national security team.

Trump has favored using diplomacy with Iran instead, although he has continued to threaten force if Iran is not cooperative about dismantling its nuclear facilities.

U.S.-Israel rift grows

A couple of factors seem to be influencing the recent rift between Trump and Netanyahu.

On the one hand, Trump and his team clearly see a gap between Israel's demands and America's interests in the Middle East, but there is also a personal factor: Trump's approach to politics is pragmatic and transactional, and if he feels like he is being disrespected by someone, he's not going to do them any favors.

During his first term, Trump's foreign policy was highly favorable towards Israel, and Trump forged close ties with Netanyahu. But tensions became apparent after Netanyahu congratulated President Joe Biden on his dubious victory in the 2020 election.

Trump will visit the Persian Gulf next week for his first major foreign trip, stopping first in Saudi Arabia, where he marked his first international trip during his first term. Trump currently has no plans to stop in Israel.

In another sign of a growing rift, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has reportedly cancelled a trip to Israel that was planned for next week.

The sex trafficking and racketeering trial for Sean "P. Diddy" Combs has hit a snag as a key witness in the case has gone missing, the UK Daily Mail reported. The female identified only as "Victim 3" and her attorney can't be reached.

The trial is set to begin next week in New York against Combs, 55. He is facing five counts against four victims that include charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

However, a portion of the trial could be in jeopardy if federal prosecutors can't contact Victim 3 and her lawyer. Victim 3 was set to give testimony of "very personal and explosive details" about how Combs allegedly abused her.

Maurene Comey, the lead prosecutor, informed US District Judge Arun Subramanian on Wednesday that Victim 3 remains unreachable. Comey added that Victim 3 "may not show up" even if she can be contacted in time.

The Trial

Jury selection began this week in the trial that is set to spotlight decades of alleged abuse at the hands of Combs. He was known to have allegedly coerced his victims into depraved sexual activity during so-called "freak-outs."

One of his accusers is Cassie Ventura, formerly a longtime girlfriend of his, who has agreed to appear without an alias. Initially, Victim 3 had agreed to the same but later chose to remain cloaked in a pseudonym to testify against the entertainment mogul.

Her testimony was to add more charges of transportation to engage in prostitution and sex trafficking to Combs' growing list of crimes. However, with Victim 3 missing in action, those charges are now in question.

Teny Geragos, Combs' defense attorney, took the opportunity of Victim 3's absence to force the prosecution to decide whether to nix her testimony. The federal government will have until the end of the week to decide if they should revise the charges.

Prosecutors are still hopeful for a conviction against Combs even without Victim 3's testimony. Comey assured the judge that there are "many, many acts of racketeering apart from Victim 3."

Serious Charges

According to the New York Post, Combs could spend life behind bars if he's convicted of the charges he's facing now. It's believed he was not only engaging in illicit activity, but that it was allegedly a criminal enterprise.

The details of Combs' depraved lifestyle are harrowing, especially if the alleged victims were indeed forced into the behavior. The indictment states that Combs held days-long parties that "often involved multiple commercial sex workers."

They were largely fueled by illicit drugs that were doled out like candy. "During freak offs, Combs distributed a variety of controlled substances to victims, in part to keep the victims obedient and compliant," the indictment said.

After endless days of sex and drugs, Combs and his alleged victims "typically received IV fluids to recover from the physical exertion and drug use," the indictment said. "Sometimes unbeknownst to the victims, Combs kept videos he filmed of victims engaging in sex acts with commercial sex workers," it added.

Combs was a powerful man in the entertainment industry, and it's not surprising that it would be difficult for anyone to testify against him. It remains to be seen whether Victim 3's absence will have any impact on a possible conviction, but there's sure to be more wild turns in this case.

James Carville is sounding alarm bells after footage resurfaced of "Squad" member Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) ranting against White men, Fox News reported. The Democratic Party strategist says Omar and her ilk "are more trouble than they're worth" for the party.

In 2018, Omar made a racially charged assertion against White men while speaking to Al Jazeera. "Our country should be more fearful of White men because they are causing most of the deaths within this country," Omar claimed.

"We should be profiling, monitoring, and creating policies to fight the radicalization of White men," Omar asserted. The video was recently reshared throughout social media, including on X under the Libs of TikTok account.

Poor Strategy

While speaking at the Sir Harry Evans Investigative Journalism Summit in London, Carville acknowledged just how terrible Omar is for the Democratic Party. "Ilhan Omar says that White men are responsible for most of the deaths in the United States," Carville reiterated.

"So let me get this straight, 69% of the people — why I’m stuck on that number, I don’t know — but 69% of the people going to vote are White. Of that, 48.5 are males," he added.

"So, I don’t know, my rough math is 33%? That’s a lot of pissed-off 33% of people that vote, and that’s a smart strategy?" Carville went on.

"And there are people that agree with her! There are people that actually agree with her!" Carville said incredulously.

"And I think it’s, honestly, I think these people are more trouble than they’re worth," he added. Indeed, Omar recently went viral with another offensive move after she told Myles Morell from the Daily Caller News Foundation to "f--- off."

Words Have Consequences

Omar is no stranger to controversy and making enemies, but Vice President J.D. Vance was particularly incensed by Omar's remarks. "This isn’t just sick; it’s actually genocidal language," Vance said on social media.

"What a disgrace this person is," he added. After receiving such criticism, Omar doubled down on her remarks in a statement to Fox News Digital and upped the ante.

"In this nearly 8yr old clip, I am referring to the rise of white nationalism in an annual report issued by the Anti-Defamation League that said White supremacists were responsible for 78 percent of ‘extremist-related murders.' PS you should look up what ‘genocidal’ actually means when you’re actively supporting a genocide taking place in Gaza," Omar said.

Besides her diatribe against White men, Omar is also often fond of making antisemitic remarks. In fact, Omar has been censured by her colleagues for making offensive remarks against Jewish people.

Omar is a lawmaker who is supposed to represent the people who voted for her in Minnesota. Instead, she represents the worst kind of bigotry and hatred for others, and Carville is right that it will be Democrats' undoing.

Term-limited Ohio Governor Mike DeWine (R) is reportedly moving to block the state GOP from endorsing Vivek Ramaswamy as the next Republican governor candidate, according to sources familiar with the state's politics.

President Donald Trump endorsed Ramaswamy the same night he announced he would run for governor, so the move places DeWine in direct opposition to the president, not to mention Vice President J.D. Vance, who is also from Ohio and has directed his staff to provide support for Ramaswamy's campaign.

It's the second time DeWine has opposed Trump's endorsed nominee: he also did so with Bernie Moreno, who was endorsed by Trump for Senate and who did win the race in 2024.

Some sources say DeWine wants his lieutenant governor, Ohio State football legend Jim Tressel, to succeed him.

Too early

“I think he would like to forestall an endorsement taking place, because I think he would like to see if he can convince Jim Tressel to run for governor,” an Ohio Republican leader said of DeWine.

According to his spokesman, the governor is focused on state budget negotiations.

DeWine has also said it's too early to endorse a candidate.

“As far as who I endorse in the Republican primary for Governor, it is much too early, as we do not even know who all will be in the race. We are now 364 days away from the primary and 293 days away from the filing deadline. In politics, this is a lifetime!” the governor noted in a statement.

Two-thirds of the state party’s 66-member central committee must vote to endorse a candidate.

Ramaswamy leads

Ramaswamy currently leads polling in the race, but it is still very early.

An ally of Ramaswamy told Breitbart that DeWine is going to be remembered for being wrong on every fight within the GOP.

“If Trump backs you, DeWine’s guaranteed to take the losing side. The establishment isn’t just out of touch — it’s out of time. And the state central committee will prove that again this Friday,” the ally remarked.

“There’s not a unified opposition to the endorsement,” a committee member said.

If Tressel were to run, a point of opposition against him is that he supported DEI policies when he worked at Youngstown University.

President Donald Trump's two most trusted administration members could be his picks to succeed him for president in 2028, Semafor reported. The president named Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio as strong candidates.

Trump clearly places a great deal of trust in Vance and Rubio. He picked both out of the Senate, with Vance becoming his running mate during the presidential election.

As for Rubio, Trump has conferred considerable responsibility on him in a short amount of time. Besides being the Secretary of State, Rubio is also currently a national security adviser, acting USAID director, and as archivist for the US.

Some are predicting that a bitter rivalry could erupt between the two men, given their high profile. However, there's also a possibility that Vance, who is the logical choice as the vice president, could turn to Rubio, who ran against Trump in 2016, to share a ticket.

Speculation Abounds

People in Trump's orbit acknowledge that the dynamics within the administration are solidly cooperative rather than officials jockeying for position. White House communications director Steven Cheung said in a statement that the president "has built the most impressive and most capable Administration in history."

There doesn't seem to be rivalry between Vance and Rubio or anyone else. “Vice President Vance, Secretary Rubio, and the entire Cabinet are working tirelessly to implement the America First policies that Americans voted for, which has led to unprecedented successes in just four months," Cheung added.

Rubio and Vance recently collaborated with Trump duirng a meeting with the Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, who was newly elected. "He just loves to stir the pot, doesn’t he?" Sen. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) said of Trump, implying this was a strategic move to raise their profiles.

"Rubio has the depth, but man, Vance seems to be picking it up fast, really fast. They’re both clearly on the short list, if they’re interested," Lummis added.

Others like Sen. John Hoeven (R-ND) see that Trump seems to be grooming them both for something more. "The president really likes JD, and he’s very impressed with him. But now that he’s around Marco a lot, I think he sees how capable he is," Hoeven said.

No Third Term

This discussion about Trump's successor comes after the president's appearance on Meet the Press on Sunday. During his interview with Kristen Welker, Trump finally put to bed the rumors that he'll run for a third term, which he likely started himself as a way to goad the left.

"So many people want me to do it. It’s something that, to the best of my knowledge, you’re not allowed to do," Trump told Welker, according to Fox News.

"I don’t know if that’s constitutional. But this is not something I’m looking to do," Trump added. As far as he'd choose for his successor, Trump said it's "far too early" but said Vance's position certainly set him up nicely.

Trump has chosen stellar people to help him implement his agenda. While the leftist media wants to see Vance turn on Rubio during this time, it's clear that Republicans will have their pick for 2028 for a competent leader no matter which man takes the lead.

White House Border czar Tom Homan issued a warning to "Squad" member Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) about continuing to help illegal immigrants evade deportation, Fox News reported. Homan said that the "tables have now turned."

Homan appeared on The Ingraham Angle Tuesday to speak out against Ocasio-Cortez and her ilk. Last week, the leftist lawmaker held a town hall event in Queens where she taunted Homan about her flippant disregard for immigration law.

This comes after her office also hosted a February "Know Your Rights" webinar to help illegal immigrants evade capture. Homan indicated he is not taking these actions lightly.

He Means Business

Whether she is aiming for political clout or seriously telling illegal immigrants how to break the law, Ocasio-Cortez is playing a dangerous game. Homan did not take kindly to her latest stunt and called her out on it.

"I take pleasure [that] I can live in her mind rent-free every day, but we all know exactly what she's doing. She's educating the worst of the worst [on] how do we evade law enforcement," Homan said.

"But the tables have now turned. She's educating people how to get prosecuted, because you have a final order," Homan said, referring to the last step of the legal process to deport an illegal immigrant.

"It is illegal not to comply with that order. It's a crime to take steps to... not comply with ICE [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] removal orders or not comply with ICE actions taken in custody," Homan warned.

"You can't hinder your own removal that was ordered by the federal judge. I would like AOC to read Title 8, United States Code 1253 because it's starting tomorrow," he added.

Ocasio-Cortez Plays Chicken

As an elected official, Ocasio-Cortez surely knows that her role in helping lawbreakers evade capture is a crime. Still, she publicly proclaimed her intention to flout the law and help others do the same at her town hall meeting Friday.

"Tom Homan said he was going to refer me to the DOJ because I’m using my free speech rights in order to advise people of their constitutional protections. To that I say: Come for me, do I look like I care?" Ocasio-Cortez said.

She taunted Homan, stating that there is "nothing illegal about it and if they want to make it illegal, they can come take me." However, Homan is not going to budge in this game of chicken that the two are playing.

"Game's over. We're going to look for these public safety threats, and we're going to take them off those streets in New York and every other sanctuary city," Homan said, vowing to prosecute anyone standing in the way of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Ocasio-Cortez and other leftists are brazenly encouraging others to flout immigration law because they think there will be no consequences. However, Homan doesn't seem to be a man to trifle with, and she may soon find out just how serious he is.

Last week, John Thune, the majority leader in the Senate, told Breitbart News that President Trump's progress at the U.S.-Mexico border has been "mind-blowing" and "staggering."

Thune said those things in a long interview with Breitbart News that was filmed last week in the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC, as Breitbart News reported.

From the Lawmaker

“I think you have to—what he’s had so far, it’s hard to characterize it as anything but just a staggering success,” Thune said during his recent interview.

“It is—you look at what they were under Biden a year ago, you’re talking about 10,000 or 11,000 a day and now we’re down to 200 a day, it is almost mind-blowing in terms of how much difference the leadership of President and the White House has made over Biden’s open borders policy.

The lawmaker said he expects the president to continue to push resources toward Border Patrol agents and supply needed money for the wall and detention beds: "All of those things needed to continue to secure the border."

Senate Partnerships

Senate Republicans, according to Thune, would work as "partners" with Trump to further secure the border and provide him with additional funding to do so.

In the current proposal being worked on by Congress, he assured that a "generational investment in border security" will be included in the Trump agenda.

“We are going to be partners with him. In the reconciliation bill, we’re working on—we have a generational investment in border security that the president will be able to use as a tool to continue to get that job done,” Thune said.

What Else is In The Bill

The measure soon to hit the Senate floor will likely include immigration restrictions, but Thune said Congress will also push for more funding to enhance energy production.

He had harsh words for Senate Democrats for unanimously opposing President Trump's emergency declaration on energy production and stated that Republicans are poised to provide Trump more money to enhance energy output.

The lawmaker said the Democrats' response to energy-related topics is an example of how the Democratic Party is being held "hostage" by the far left.

"Voting against an energy emergency in this country when we clearly have an energy emergency—you look at just as an example electricity, you have artificial intelligence, you got data centers, you got crypto mines, all of these things are incredibly power-intensive, and then of course the Democrats wanted to have everybody already driving electric vehicles,” Thune said.

More Senate Priorities

In addition to these items, Thune emphasized the Senate GOP's efforts to eliminate Biden's regulations by employing the Congressional Review Act (CRA).

“The Biden administration, as you could expect, characteristically relied heavily on the use of regulations to implement their agenda,” Thune said in the interview taped last week.

“A lot of their agenda, of course, was the Green New Deal. It was a lot of their climate agenda.
