In what some might call a Johnny-come-lately move, congressional Democrats are calling on U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi to release the Jeffrey Epstein files – because they supposedly mention President Trump.
The demand letter arrived Tuesday, the same day Trump upbraided a reporter asking about the Epstein files during a Cabinet meeting before allowing Bondi to respond. For days now, Trump supporters have condemned the attorney general for releasing a two-page memo Sunday claiming there is no Epstein "client list" and that there is no question he commit suicide in jail.
As reported by the Daily Caller, Democratic Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin, ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, and Democratic New York Rep. Dan Goldman led Committee Democrats in a letter demanding that Bondi release any Epstein-related evidence allegedly referencing Trump that the Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI have withheld.
The letter charged that Bondi's conduct was "worrisome" and that the DOJ was potentially being employed to cover up wrongdoing by the president, "including information allegedly contained in the Epstein files."
"In February 2025, you came under intense public criticism after releasing the 'first phase' of roughly 200 pages of the Epstein files that consisted largely of information that was already public," the lawmakers wrote, adding that Bondi reportedly redirected hundreds of FBI agents to review the files.
"In April, you claimed the FBI was reviewing 'tens of thousands of videos' of Mr. Epstein 'with children or child porn,'" they continued.
The letter then addressed the recent announcement on Epstein: "This raises the question of whether the White House has moved to prevent the declassification and public release of the full Epstein files because they implicate President Trump, and whether these massive redaction efforts and the withholding of the files were intended to shield your boss from embarrassing revelations within those files."
The letter also noted that former DOGE chief Elon Musk had claimed in a now-deleted X post that Trump was in the Epstein files.
Sergio Gor, President Trump’s chief aide tasked with political vetting, is under intense scrutiny after it was revealed that he has falsely claimed Maltese origins when he was born in Uzbekistan, the New York Post reported.
The Times of Malta and Maltese government records confirmed Gor was born in Tashkent in 1986, contradicting years of claims and raising concerns over his transparency and eligibility for permanent security clearance.
In June 2025, Malta’s government reported there were no birth records for Gor in the country, which aligned with property records Gor filed in 2021, where he listed Uzbekistan as his birthplace. Gor has refused to state his actual country of origin but said it is not Russia.
As a key figure responsible for staffing the administration, Gor is required to submit Standard Form 86, a vital part of the clearance process. However, sources say he has yet to officially submit the document.
The White House claimed Gor “completed” the form but did not confirm whether it had been filed. His attorney, Rob Garson, later stated the form “has been filled out and filed,” despite ongoing internal doubts about its submission status.
With Gor’s interim clearance set to expire in July 2025, questions remain about whether President Trump will extend it, as only he holds the authority to do so for top aides operating without full approval.
Although not born there, Gor did spend part of his youth in Malta. Deputy Prime Minister Ian Borg confirmed that Gor lived in the country for nearly ten years and attended both elementary and middle school.
He was a student at De La Salle College from 1996 to 1999 and had Maltese residency records for at least three years. These ties may have fueled the perception—and Gor’s own claims—that he was of Maltese origin.
His mother, Liya Gorokhovsky, opened a company in Malta in 1994 and listed herself as Israeli. Gor listed Uzbekistan as his birthplace when he purchased his mother's Maltese home in 2021 for approximately $300,000.
Despite mounting scrutiny, the White House continues to stand behind Gor. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt called him a model of the American Dream and praised his role in assembling President Trump’s appointee team.
White House Counsel David Warrington also defended Gor, insisting he is fully compliant with legal and ethical obligations. He emphasized that Gor's clearance is active and dismissed contrary claims as false.
Prior to joining the Trump administration, Gor worked for Senator Rand Paul and later published a Trump photo book in 2021 after launching his own publishing company. He now resides in a mansion near Palm Beach, Florida.
In June 2025, Gor reportedly influenced Trump's decision to drop Elon Musk’s NASA pick, Jared Isaacman, allegedly due to Isaacman’s past donations to Democrats. This move worsened tensions between Musk and Trump.
According to insiders, Gor held a personal grudge against Musk following a cabinet meeting where Musk allegedly embarrassed him. Gor’s reported advice led Trump to distance himself from Musk-backed appointments.
In response, Musk announced the formation of a third political party, further fracturing conservative unity ahead of the 2026 elections. Republicans fear it could divide their voter base and affect upcoming races.
President Donald Trump has threatened to take control of Washington, D.C., to deal with crime in America's capital.
"We would run it so good, it would be run so proper, we'd get the best person to run it," Trump said during a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday. "And we know the crime would be down to a minimum, would be much less. And, you know, we're thinking about doing it, to be honest with you."
D.C. has limited autonomy under the 1973 Home Rule Act, which enables locals to choose their own mayor and city council, but all laws require approval from Congress.
Trump said his chief of staff Susie Wiles is working closely with mayor Muriel Bowser (D), who earlier this year submitted to pressure from Trump to clear homeless encampments and remove the large "Black Lives Matter" mural that was painted on a downtown street during the George Floyd upheaval.
"We want a capital that's run flawlessly, and it wouldn't be hard for us to do it. And we've had a good relationship with the mayor and we're testing it to see if it works," Trump said.
Crime in the city spiked in the early 2020s, exposing regular citizens and even public officials to carjackings, assaults, and other violent acts. So far this year, violent crime has fallen 25%, but homicides have remained flat compared to the same time in 2024.
The recent murder of a Republican intern in the D.C.'s northwestern area served as a grim reminder that the city is far from safe.
At Tuesday's Cabinet Meeting, Trump also said he would clean up New York if socialist Zohran Mamdani is elected mayor.
"We're not going to have -- if a communist gets elected to run New York, it can never be the same. But we have tremendous power at the White House to run places when we have to," Trump said.
New York's mayoral race has attracted nationwide attention after Mamdani, a young socialist assemblyman, won an upset in the Democratic primary. Mamdani's radical views have led critics, including Trump, to label him a dangerous "communist."
Trump, a Queens native, continues to express affection for his hometown years after he stopped living there permanently, and his administration is leading the renovation of Penn Station, despite hostility between Trump and New York's Democratic governor, Kathy Hochul.
The president has often lamented New York's recent decline, and he has made similar comments about D.C., calling the conditions in America's capital unacceptable. In response to his latest remarks about a takeover, mayor Bowser highlighted her efforts to be cooperative.
“These comments have been made for two years,” she said. “I think our approach to working with the President has been a good one: to focus on our shared priorities, which we have."
A beautiful family of four died tragically in a small plane crash just miles from home in North Carolina.
Travis Buchanan, 35, Candace Buchanan, 35, Aubrey Buchanan, 10, and Walker Buchanan, 9 were returning from a beach holiday when their plane crashed into a field Monday near Raleigh Executive Jetport.
Three of the victims died instantly, while a fourth perished at a hospital. They were the only people on board.
The small plane crashed in a field off Lower Moncure Road north of Sanford, where the family owned a farm. The crash site was well off the road, making it difficult for first responders, WRAL reported.
Abraham Garcia, a Buchanan Farms employee for eight years, said the family was returning from the beach.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) confirmed that the plane departed from Merritt Island, Florida, on Monday around 11:03 a.m. ET.
The family's Cirrus SR22T crashed a little over three hours later around 2:30 p.m. The plane came within five miles of the airport when the pilot reported engine problems and communication issues.
“About 5-6 miles from the airport, the airplane advised a local fixed-base operator about a loss of communications and navigational equipment shortly after they advised the fixed-base operator that they had engine issues,” NTSB aviation accident investigator Ryan Enders said.
The tragedy has shaken the family's community in Sanford, a small city in Lee County located about 40 miles from Raleigh.
"Travis and Candace have worked alongside me from the beginning of my photography business. They were always so generous to offer up farm space for mini-sessions or hosting my mini-session ministry days," wrote Nickie Runyan Photography on Facebook. "It was truly a joy to work alongside them any chance I had, and my entire family loved attending their farm events. They truly were a beacon of light in our community with all that they did."
The school attended by the Buchanans' two young children also shared a heartfelt statement.
"It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of one of our Crusader Families," Grace Christian Sanford School wrote in a post on Facebook.
"The Buchanan Family; Students Aubrey (rising 5th) and Walker (rising 4th) along with their parents, Travis and Candace, went to be with the Lord today," the statement continued.
"During this incredibly difficult time, we stand together in support of their family and one another," the post reads. "We extend our love, prayers and deepest condolences to their family, friends, classmates, teachers and staff."
The Supreme Court has cleared President Trump's efforts to dramatically downsize the federal workforce.
In an emergency ruling issued Tuesday, the highest court in the land rebuked a district judge who tried to stop Trump's mass layoffs at federal agencies. Those firings can now proceed, pending a legal battle.
“Today’s U.S. Supreme Court ruling is another definitive victory for the President and his administration. It clearly rebukes the continued assaults on the President’s constitutionally authorized executive powers by leftist judges who are trying to prevent the President from achieving government efficiency across the federal government,” White House spokesperson Harrison Fields said in a statement.
A district judge in San Francisco had frozen Trump's executive order calling for "reductions in force" at federal agencies, which was accompanied by a joint memo from the Office of Management and Budget and Office of Personnel Management implementing the directive.
In a short unsigned opinion, the Supreme Court lifted the injunction, finding Trump is likely to succeed on the argument that his order is lawful.
"Because the Government is likely to succeed on its argument that the Executive Order and Memorandum are lawful—and because the other factors bearing on whether to grant a stay are satisfied— we grant the application. We express no view on the legality of any Agency RIF and Reorganization Plan produced or approved pursuant to the Executive Order and Memorandum," the justices wrote.
The decision adds to a winning streak for Trump, who has received a string of favorable Supreme Court rulings upholding his executive power over immigration and other matters.
The Trump administration had blasted the district court's injunction, which required congressional approval before mass layoffs, as an affront to the president's authority over the executive branch.
"It interferes with the Executive Branch's internal operations and unquestioned legal authority to plan and carry out RIFs [reductions in force], and does so on a government-wide scale," Solicitor General John D. Sauer wrote to the Supreme Court.
The only justice to dissent from the Supreme Court's ruling, Ketanji Brown Jackson, accused her colleagues of "enthusiasm for greenlighting this President’s legally dubious actions in an emergency posture."
"This executive action promises mass employee terminations, widespread cancellation of federal programs and services, and the dismantling of much of the Federal Government as Congress has created it,” she wrote.
In a short concurring opinion, Sonia Sotomayor agreed with Jackson's view that federal restructuring must adhere to constraints set by Congress, but Sotomayor noted that Trump's order explicitly calls for restructuring to be “consistent with applicable law." Sotomayor withheld judgment, since Trump's specific agency plans are not currently in front of the court.
"[W]e thus have no occasion to consider whether they can and will be carried out consistent with the constraints of law," Sotomayor wrote. "I join the court's stay because it leaves the district court free to consider those questions in the first instance."
The non-profits and labor unions who challenged Trump lamented the Supreme Court's decision as a "serious blow to our democracy."

President Donald Trump long has criticized the leftist ideologies and political slants that are contained in the broadcasts of PBS, the Public Broadcast System funded by hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars each year.
He signed an executive order designating that that funding should halt, because of the bias.
The White House, just weeks ago, confirmed the organization was delivering "trash that is passed as news," and cited 24 examples such as its refusal to cover the Hunter Biden laptop scandal, a report linking crime fears with racism and the production of a film supporting "reparations," the idea that whites who never owned slaves have to pay huge amounts of cash to blacks who never were slaves.
Paul Kerger, PBS CEO, said she doesn't understand the claims of bias.
She said, "So that I don't understand the criticism and always when people say we see bias in your programs and by the way we get that on both sides. You know, I get as many calls from people on the more progressive side as on the conservative side that have issues every night with every night's broadcast. You know, I see this or I see that."
She blamed it on listeners: "We're in a difficult time right now in our country around news coverage where people forget that news is news and it is not about hearing information that is reaffirming what you think you know."
Some individual stations have sued, claiming that their First Amendment constitutional rights include a right to be handed tax money to use to promote their own ideologies.
A new report confirms that about the time of the election, about 90% of the coverage of the Trump administration was negative. That anti-Trump rhetoric on PBS now has been ramped up to 93%, according to a report by columnist Paul Bedard in the Washington Examiner.
"The premier weekly news show on PBS increased its negative coverage of President Donald Trump and Republicans to over 90%, a clear demonstration that the taxpayer-funded network has no plans to offer balanced coverage despite the White House's defund threats," the report explained.
"Over the past three months, Washington Week with the Atlantic has provided coverage and commentary on Trump that the conservative watchdog Media Research Center graded 93% negative."
It was just before the 2024 election that the show registered at 90% anti-Trump.
Trump, now in his second term following his defeat of Democrat Kamala Harris in the vote, has made defunding the bias a priority.
"But instead of giving Trump any credit for the Israel-Iran ceasefire, cutting inflation, leveling trade tariffs, or ridding the government of wasteful spending, the show and its stable of MAGA bashers have gone on a hate rampage," the report explained.
The report cited Clay Waters of the MRC's NewsBusters team.
"Even with supposedly bipartisan foreign policy issues on the table like Iran, the coverage only became more slanted, at 93% negative," he confirmed.
The evaluation found panelists spent 83 minutes opining on Republicans, with 87 minutes negative and six minutes positive.
"Show 'intros' by moderator Jeffrey Goldberg often set a mocking anti-Trump tone, not the 'civil discourse' promised," the report said. "In covering Trump's successful immigration agenda, 100% of the coverage was negative."

Outrage continues to build among President Donald's Trump supporters over the Justice Department's conclusion there was no client list for pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein, with some Trump fans urging the ouster of U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi.
Among them is journalist and Trump ally Laura Loomer, who refers to Bondi as "Blondi."
"Please join me in calling for Blondi to RESIGN!" Loomer said on X. "How many more times is this woman going to get away with Fing everything up before she is FIRED?"
Loomer also noted: "How come Blondi didn't sign her name to her own memo about the Epstein Files? She needs to resign. This is going to suppress the vote in 2026. The American people and MAGA base will not tolerate being lied to.
"I hope President Trump fires Pam Blondi if she lacks the SHAME to resign. I called for her resignation the day of Binder Gate. 5 months later and Blondi is still an abomination. Epstein raped kids on her watch when she was [Florida attorney general]. Is this what this is about? Her horrendous professional record?"
On Monday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt claimed the Trump administration was being truthful and transparent in connection with the Epstein case, saying: "The Trump administration is committed to truth and to transparency. That's why the attorney general and the FBI director pledged at the president's direction to do an exhaustive review of all of the files related to Jeffrey Epstein's crimes and his death. And they put out a memo in conclusion of that review.
"There was material they did not release because, frankly, it was incredibly graphic and it contained child pornography which is not something that's appropriate for public consumption.
"But they committed to an exhaustive investigation. That's what they did and they provided the results of that. That's transparency."
About three hours later, Trump himself posted a message on Truth Social praising the FBI and its top officials, though not specifically mentioning the dropping of the Epstein matter.
"The FBI, under the direction of Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino, is back to the basics: Locking up criminals, and cleaning up America's streets," Trump said.
"We have the Greatest Law Enforcement professionals in the World, but "Politics" and Corrupt Leadership often prevented them from doing their job. That is no longer the case, and now, they have been unleashed to do their jobs, and they are doing just that. Keep it up — MAKE AMERICA SAFE AGAIN!"
But Trump supporters on Truth Social responded fiercely to the president's message, with numerous objections, including:
"MAGA BEGS TO DIFFER WITH YOU, DAN, KASH AND PAM. DIDDY WALKS THEN THIS?? WE THE PEOPLE DEMAND TO HEAR FROM YOU NOT A TRUTH POST…. WITH ALL DUE RESPECT."
"Trump I have been extremely loyal to you! I'm very pleased with almost everything you're doing, but I absolutely draw the line on this one! If you are who I think you are … brave, big heart, and will stand ten toes down for what's right, then bring the truth to light!! Release the info no matter what!!! If you don't stop/expose what happened on that island and what is a huge problem in our country for these children then who will?! Somebody is being blackmailed!!! God put you in your position for a reason!!! if you do what's right your supporters will always stand by you!!!"
"We have been BETRAYED by the man who insists FULL LOYALTY. Trump, you BETRAYED us. Maybe Elon sees something we don't!
"Trump is mistaken if he thinks the American people are just going to 'move on' from the Epstein client list. This is too big – it's not going away."
Tuesday morning, Tucker Carlson released an interview in which he said: "I never thought that I would be offering an apology to Jeffrey Epstein.
"I think of all the times I've maligned that guy, all the times I accused him of crimes, of blackmailing people, of trafficking children to powerful figures around the world on behalf of global intel services. And then I learn yesterday from Attorney General Pam Bondi that's totally untrue. The guy killed himself after … 36 days in prison for no reason.
"He was a billionaire. He had no clients. He'd done nothing wrong, other than get like naughty massages 20 years before. And the guy killed himself. … And then his best friend … Ghislaine Maxwell, doing 20 years in prison for no crime. There are no victims!"
John Kiriakou, a former CIA officer, appeared on "Jesse Watters Primetime" on Fox News Monday night to say the Deep State "has taken this bull by the horns and they probably destroyed" the Epstein files.
In response to President Trump's praising of the FBI, the bureau's Deputy Director Dan Bongino said: "We are doubling down. No letting up."
Alex Jones of Infowars also blasted the Justice Department, noting: "Next the DOJ will say 'Actually, Jeffrey Epstein never even existed.' This is over the top sickening."
Best-selling author and analyst Tom Renz said: "This is horrific. It's hard to believe the DOJ will ever do anything real if they won't even protect against child r@pists.
President Donald Trump's Department of Homeland Security has subpoenaed Harvard University's administration for information about immigration status and alleged criminal conduct for foreigners granted student visas, Fox News reported. The legal request was sent on Wednesday, after other inquiries had gone unanswered.
The students in question are part of the Student and Exchange Visitor Program at the Ivy League institution. In a statement to Fox News Digital, DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin explained the school's "refusal to cooperate" necessitated the move.
"We tried to do things the easy way with Harvard. Now, through their refusal to cooperate, we have to do things the hard way," McLauglin noted.
"Harvard, like other universities, has allowed foreign students to abuse their visa privileges and advocate for violence and terrorism on campus. If Harvard won’t defend the interests of its students, then we will," McLaughlin added.
Harvard's SEVP allows foreign students to obtain visas to study at the Cambridge, Massachusetts institution. However, some students in the program have allegedly engaged in troubling behavior on campus.
As the conflict between Israel and Palestine has escalated, anti-Semitic protests cropped up and included the participation of some of these students. This got so heated that Harvard President Alan Garber eventually had to apologize for the way Jewish students were treated.
The DHS has attempted to investigate the involvement of some foreign students in these protests by sending strongly worded letters to the Harvard administration. In April, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem requested information about SEVP students and their possible involvement.
Noem warned that failure to comply could lead to the administration revoking the program altogether. Harvard made a half-hearted attempt, sending some data that Noem said was an "insufficient, incomplete, and unacceptable response."
As a result, the DHS was compelled to revoke the SEVP designation from Harvard in May. This move affected nearly 25% of the university's student population and barred the school from enrolling any additional foreign students or issuing visas.
Following the cancellation of the program, Harvard sued the Trump administration. "It is the latest act by the government in clear retaliation for Harvard exercising its First Amendment rights to reject the government’s demands to control Harvard’s governance, curriculum, and the 'ideology' of its faculty and students," the university said in its complaint.
An Obama-appointed judge sided with Harvard and issued a temporary restraining order, allowing the university to continue the program. This latest subpoena was a legal escalation that will force Harvard to provide documents, communications, and records related to SEVP program participants dating back to January 1, 2020.
Because this request has been formalized in the courts, the university must comply or face consequences. Those include anything from contempt of court to criminal charges, civil penalties, or being subject to inspections or audits of the institution.
Meanwhile, Harvard spokesperson Jason Newton claimed the subpoena was "unfounded retribution" but that the school would comply if obligated by law, the Harvard Crimson reported. Harvard, which costs upwards of $87,000 per year to attend, is surely seething.
Trump is attempting to flush out these foreign nationals who are actively protesting against America. His administration will battle it out in court, but the issue is one that could significantly shape the future of universities.
Four suspects are facing felony charges in connection with an alleged attempt to sabotage a Border Patrol operation in Los Angeles, the Washington Examiner reported. They are accused of using "improvised devices" to damage agency vehicles and impede their operations.
The alleged perpetrators were apprehended Wednesday in the Van Nuys section of the city. U.S. Border Patrol El Centro Sector Chief Patrol Agent Gregory K. Bovino shared a photo of the devices that appeared to be rubber hoses set with nails as spikes to puncture tires.
"Just moments ago in Van Nuys during federal immigration law enforcement operations, 3 subjects attempted to impede & obstruct our efforts, using improvised devices aimed at disabling our vehicles. All three were arrested & now face felony charges," Bovino wrote, later adding that a fourth was taken into custody.

According to Fox News, the attack occurred on Tuesday as federal agents were attempting to carry out President Donald Trump's illegal immigration crackdown. Illegal immigration advocates have been working against agents to thwart these efforts.
A spokesperson from the Department of Homeland Security assured that this would not hinder agents from carrying out future missions. "DHS and its components continue to enforce the law every day in greater Los Angeles, even in the face of danger," the spokesperson said to Fox News Digital in a statement.
The spokesperson went on to describe the incident. "During the operation, four U.S. citizens placed improvised tire deflation devices on the road and punctured a Border Patrol vehicle’s tire. Agents were able to identify the suspects and placed them under arrest for obstructing law enforcement," the DHS said.
"During the arrest, one individual assaulted a Border Patrol agent and was subsequently arrested for assaulting federal law enforcement. Our officers are facing a surge in assaults and attacks against them as they put their lives on the line to enforce our nation's laws," the statement went on.
"Secretary Noem has been clear: If you obstruct or assault our law enforcement, you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law," it added. The persons arrested for the improvised device attack included Jude Jasmine Jeannine Allar, 28; Jenaro-Ernesto Ayala, 43; Daniel Montenegro, 30; and Sadot Jarnica, 54.
This is not the first time Border Patrol agents have faced attacks while carrying out their mission. According to the DHS, there has been a 700% increase in violence against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and other agents involved since Trump reentered the White House.
The worst attack to date came on July 4 as an immigration detention facility was attacked by what the New York Post called an "armed mob." This coordinated attack was carried out at the Prairieland Detention Center outside of Dallas, Texas.
Ten of the people involved were arrested and charged with attempted murder after launching fireworks and shooting at law enforcement near the facility. They were decked out in tactical clothing and military-style equipment while allegedly attacking local law enforcement and federal agents who were unarmed at the time.
One officer from the town of Alvardo was shot in the neck but luckily survived after being treated at an area hospital. This came after one of the members of the violent mob unloaded up to 30 rounds at two employees at the detention center.
The left is in a frenzy over immigration enforcement, and now it appears to be spilling over into violence. This is a sickening escalation that has endangered peoples' lives, and there's a good chance it's only going to get worse.
President Donald Trump issued some massive promises while running for office in 2024, and now one eighth of the way into his four-year term, those working in the administration are enumerating some of his wins.
The president has made massive changes in immigration, the economy, energy, international relations and trade, as Breitbart News reported.
During a recent cabinet-level meeting, the members of Trump’s inner circle spoke about those changes just after the Republican-controlled Congress passed Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill.
The Trump-led meeting, taking place just days after Republicans delivered on passing President Trump’s big, beautiful bill, touched on the advantages of this historic legislation as Vice President JD Vance congratulated all those involved in getting it done.
One of the most controversial promises Trump took to the national stage during his campaign was the promise to do away with the Department of Education, and to let the funds allocated for children’s education follow the child, regardless of where or how they’re educated.
Education Secretary Linda McMahon said during the recent cabinet meeting that the bill does just that, and it provides opportunities for scholarships “for kids who are in failing schools. ”
“It’s going to be a big turnaround,” she predicted.

On a different front U.S. Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer pointed to the most recent jobs numbers in the last few months, saying that “Four months in a row, we’ve seen those jobs numbers increase.”
In addition to more jobs, the Department of Labor has also cut away excessive regulations, lauding their office’s whopping 63 new deregulations: “It’s an exciting time."
While jobs might bring in the money, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy noted that the One Big Beautiful Bill also makes a way for people to get to those jobs, whether physically, or virtually via the $12.5 billion in the bill earmared for internet service providers to “move from copper to fiber all over the country.”
Domestic changes are great, but the White House has also looked beyond national borders and propped up the U.S. economy through international relations.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent reported that the United States has brought in $100 billion in tariff income, just in the months since the president rolled out his new international trade plan. That figure will likely increase once more tariffs crank up in the second quarter, with the secretary estimating a likely $300 billion in revenue by the end of the year.
Other international relationships have grown as well, as Secretary of State Marco Rubio highlighted. According to Rubio, there have been “MAGA” achievements worldwide:
“We’ve prevented and ended a war between India and Pakistan, NATO is now at 5 percent for the first time ever… a peace deal between the [DRC] and Rwanda, a 12-day war that ended with an American operation that we’re the only country in the world that could have done, hopefully pretty soon a peace deal between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” he said.
“The entire Middle East and the infrastructure of it has the potential now to change because of Syria and Lebanon. And it hasn’t even been 6 months,” Rubio said, asserting that is due to Trump’s leadership.
