Over one million illegal immigrants have settled in pivotal electoral states over the past two years, reshaping demographic landscapes due to President Joe Biden's immigration policies, Breitbart reported.
From 2021 to 2023, swing states and Texas experienced an unprecedented influx of illegal aliens, as reported by the Pew Research Center.
The analysis covered the period from 2021 to 2023, a time marked by significant political and social changes driven by these migration trends.
While Texas saw the largest spike with about 450,000 illegal aliens, Florida added roughly 700,000, recording the highest levels of such population increases.
In addition, states like Georgia and North Carolina each saw an increase of 100,000, affecting their demographic and potentially political landscapes significantly.
Similarly, Pennsylvania and Michigan each reported an influx of 80,000 illegal aliens during the same span.
Even smaller states felt the impact of these demographic shifts. Nevada and Wisconsin each saw 30,000 new illegal aliens, while Colorado's figure stood at 40,000.
Arizona's illegal alien population grew by 50,000, exposing broader national trends that reach into traditionally less impacted states.
Notably, New Hampshire, with a total population of 1.4 million, welcomed an additional 5,000 illegal aliens.
New Jersey particularly felt the effects, with a significant rise of 150,000 illegal aliens adding to its community makeup.
This variation across the U.S. highlights the widespread impact of current immigration policies across different states, each with its unique economic and social context.
The dispersion of new arrivals is broad, touching various regions, regardless of their size or political leanings, suggesting a complex national phenomenon.
By the year 2023, the Pew Research Center noted that the illegal alien population reached more than 14 million, a historical peak.
Further scholarly scrutiny suggests this figure might be underreported, proposing that actual numbers could surpass 22 million. This estimation presents vast implications for U.S. policy and community planning.
If accurate, these numbers pose profound challenges to local and national policymakers, intricately influencing policies from law enforcement to social services.
While the U.S. Supreme Court has already ruled that those who choose to burn the American flag are protected by the First Amendment, President Donald Trump has joined others in disagreeing that it's ok to commit such an act.
According to the Daily Mail, Trump was set to sign an executive order last week that would criminalize the burning of the flag, only to abruptly cancel the signing for unknown reasons.
The president, in the past, has taken a bold stance on what he considers would be fair punishment for burning the flag, which could include jail time or stripped citizenships for certain people.
The move to cancel the executive order signing reportedly left many at the White House puzzled, given how strong the president feels about the issue.
Trump's executive order would have had massive implications for those who have already have flag burning cases on their record.
The Daily Mail noted:
Under Trump’s order that's now on hold, the DOJ would review already existing cases of flag burning to see if other charges unrelated to the flag burning could be brought forward.
For example, the order reportedly directed the DOJ to prosecute protesters for crimes such as public nuisance or disorderly conduct laws, according to a report from NewsNation.
President Trump feels so strongly about the issue that, during his 2024 campaign, he floated the possibility of introducing a constitutional amendment that would exclude flag burning from the protections of free speech.
During the heigh of the anti-ICE protests in Los Angeles earlier this year, Trump called flag burners "animals" during an event with U.S. troops.
"These are animals, but they proudly carry the flags of other countries. They don't carry the American flag," Trump said at the time.
The outlet said that at this time, it was unclear why Trump canceled the signing of the EO. It also wasn't clear if the idea is dead in the water or if the president will move to sign it at a later date.
Trump's supporters praised the president prior to the cancellation, with many strongly agreeing that flag burners should be punished.
"Finally! I always thought it was strange that people could burn a flag in the street, but if I brought a box out to the street and set it on fire, I would be charged," one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "Anyone who burns the flag will be arrested and imprisoned."
Only time will tell if the president revisits the issue. Many hope he will.
A freak Texas flood in July that resulted in the deaths of over two dozen girls who were at summer camp, along with countless injuries and devastation, sparked Texas lawmakers into taking quick action.
According to JustTheNews, the Texas Senate just passed the first part of a camp-related safety bill that prioritizes safe conditions at campgrounds in the wake of the nightmarish and deadly flooding incident.
The Texas House first took action on the issue by passing a relief package that included a camp safety bill last week. It then went to the Senate for a unanimous vote in favor of passing it.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott applauded the bipartisan effort to pass the safety bill, saying he would gladly sign it once it hit his desk.
Camp Mystic, located in Hunt, Texas, took the brunt of the flash flooding that resulted in the deaths of 27 campers and counselors on July 4.
The problem, according to many of the parents of the campers who perished, is that they believe their deaths were preventable. They took the matter to the state legislature to get action taken to prevent such a nightmare from happening again in the state.
JustTheNews noted:
Their parents testified before the Texas Senate for the first time on Wednesday in support of the bill. They also said their daughters’ deaths were “100% preventable,” arguing the camp didn’t have safety protocols in place, The Center Square reported.
Campers weren't the only people who died during the flash flooding event, as the barrage of water claimed a total of 137 lives in Texas, including 37 children in total.
JustTheNews noted:
After House business was halted during the first special session by absconding House Democrats, all House Democrats voted for the bill on Thursday. It nearly passed unanimously. One Republican holdout voted against it, expressing opposition to amendments added by Democrats and other language, The Center Square reported.
Texas House Speaker Dustin Burrows released a statement on the situation.
“This summer’s tragic flooding has left profound impact on our state – taking the lives of innocent adults and children, devastating families and entire communities, and breaking the hearts of every Texan. From this tragedy, the Texas Legislature stepped up to examine the systems and processes in need of improvement so we are better prepared for all future emergencies," the state Speaker said.
Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick also issued a statement regarding the bill.
“Every child who attends summer camp should come home with nothing more than memories of laughter, friendship, and adventure. This July, Texas was shaken by the catastrophic flooding at Camp Mystic, where 27 young lives were lost. Today, the Texas Senate has taken an important step to ensure that no parent in our state ever has to endure that kind of heartbreak again," he said.
Lt. Gov. Patrick added, "We cannot legislate away every danger in life, but we can insist on vigilance, preparedness, and accountability where children are entrusted to the care of others. This bill gives parents peace of mind and sets clear expectations for camp operators – because the safety of Texas children must always come first."
Former personal attorney to President Donald Trump, Alina Habba, has been in a career whirlwind this year with her contested appointment to the position of U.S. Attorney in New Jersey.
According to The Daily Caller, a federal judge, of course, appointed by Barack Obama, ruled this week that Habba's reinstatement — through a series of unusual maneuvers — is "unlawful" as of July 1.
She was initially appointed to the position in the interim and was set to serve 120 days in the high-powered position. However, she was later replaced by her deputy, who was then fired so that Habba could replace her.
According to the judge that ruled this week against her appointment, her actions since July 1 "may be declared void."
The Daily Caller recapped Habba's unusual rise to the position.
It noted:
When Habba’s 120-day appointment as New Jersey’s interim U.S. attorney expired in July, a panel of federal judges selected her deputy, Desiree Leigh Grace, to take the position.
The Daily Caller added:
Using an unusual maneuver, the Trump administration sought to keep Habba in charge of the office. Attorney General Pam Bondi removed Grace, appointing Habba to the position of First Assistant United States Attorney and automatically making her the acting U.S. Attorney.
Middle District of Pennsylvania Chief Judge Matthew W. Brann ruled last week that she can not prosecute two defendants who challenged her appointment.
"After reviewing several issues of first impression, the Court concludes that Ms. Habba has exercised the functions and duties of the office of the United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey without lawful authority since July 1, 2025," the Obama-appointed judge decided.
The judge added that he would put his decision on hold until the appeals process plays out.
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) was targeted over the weekend for being one of the Senate Republicans who helped Democrats block her appointment.
🚨 BREAKING: Acting US Attorney Alina Habba just SLAMMED Thom Tillis and Chuck Grassley for blocking her confirmation

"End of story is she needs to be confirmed. Enough of this playing with mittens on," one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "This is getting ridiculous. She is perfect for the job!"
Peter Navarro is calling for an investigation into FBI agents who targeted him and President Donald Trump with political investigations.
Navarro specifically called for an investigation into Walter Giardina, an agent who was recently fired by FBI Director Kash Patel.
Navarro told Breitbart News, "The FBI and the DOJ went after Donald John Trump, dating back from 2016 all the way to President Trump being elected in November of 2024."
It was the Obama administration that worked with Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign to launch the Russian collusion hoax, and Obama's FBI did much of the heavy lifting in the campaign to crush Trump's presidential run.
While Patel has been purging the FBI of those political actors, it's clear that simply firing these people isn't enough. Navarro, along with many Trump supporters, want criminal consequences for the blatant political corruption of the past decade.
Navarro singled out Giardina for his role in the Russian collusion hoax saying, "So the Giardina story starts in 2016 with the Christopher Steele dossier. That was the dossier. It was totally fake. It was presented as an intelligence report, paid for by Hillary Clinton, and the whole purpose of that was to create a Russia, Russia, Russia hoax."
The Steele dossier was the subject of intense scrutiny for years, as it was the basis of the allegations against Trump. We now know that it was fraudulent and paid for by the Clinton campaign, and Obama's FBI accepted the dossier without investigating it.
Navarro continued by explaining, "And once that was done, that set in motion the whole ball of wax. It set in motion Crossfire Hurricane operation by the FBI and DOJ to get Trump. That, in turn, morphed into the Mueller report."
Giardina, as one of the chief architects of the corrupt investigation against Trump, must pay the price or there will be no deterent for political ideologues in the future to weild the power of the justice system for poltiical purposes.
Navarro pointed this out by saying, "The left’s trying to make him a martyr. … This son of a bitch is not a martyr. He’s an insurrectionist, in my view, and he committed treason against his country by trying to in different operations — either interfere with the 2016 and 2020 elections, or overthrow Donald Trump."
Democrats have screeched about every act that the Trump administration has taken against those who subverted the justice system to attack Donald Trump in 2016, 2020, and 2024.
Trump and the American people deserve justice, and maybe a bit of revenge, for the decade of chaos that leftists like Giardina caused.
Navarro finished off his comments by saying, "[Giardina] didn’t give a shit about perp-walking my fiancée. He didn’t care when Jeff Clark’s home got raided and his family got terrorized. He didn’t care when Mar-a-Lago got raided and they went through Melania’s closets. This is a man who has tried to, in my judgment, overthrow the government of the United States, using the powers of the FBI in an abusive way."
Democrats had no issues when the power of the FBI was being used to target their political opponents, but now the shoe is on the other foot.
Since taking office, President Donald Trump’s aggressive immigration and deportation agenda has faced continued resistance and obstruction from liberal judges across the country.
Now, in what the Trump administration views as a baffling act of blatant lawfare, a magistrate judge decided to release accused MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia from federal custody, as Breitbart reports.
The subject of much legal back-and-forth in recent months, Abrego Garcia is facing a slew of criminal allegations that include not just entering and remaining in the U.S. illegally, but also the solicitation of child pornography, involvement in the murder of a rival gang member’s relative, as well as arms, drug, and human trafficking.
Earlier this year, Abrego Garcia was deported to El Salvador, a move that spurred legal challenges and outrage from Democrat lawmakers, and his case led to additional wrangling over Trump’s attempt to use the Aliens Enemies Act to facilitate removals from the country.
Magistrate Judge Barbara Holmes’ decision to free Abrego Garcia from federal detention last week is, according to her critics, just the latest example of her liberal activism from the bench and in her life outside the courtroom.
Holmes’ background includes time spent as president of the Nashville Bar Association and as a leading voice in the “National Association of Women Judges,” a group known for its strong leftward leanings.
She also served as the Judge’s Chair for the 2018 Legal Aid Society’s Campaign for Equal Justice, an organization that has been outspoken on behalf of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and which has provided legal services to illegal aliens, pointing to a significant conflict of interest.
As Fox News reports, after Abrego Garcia was released from custody, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials informed his attorneys that he may be poised for deportation to Uganda after he reportedly declined to accept a plea agreement that would have sent him to Costa Rica.
ICE is said to have informed Abrego Garcia’s team that he could be deported in “no less than 72 hours” and that he was required to report for a check-in at the agency’s Baltimore office on Monday.
The agency specified Uganda as Abrego Garcia’s next potential destination due to the fact that the African country had just reached an agreement with the United States government to accept third-party deportations under certain conditions.
Whether the administration will act on the threat and send the controversial migrant to the far-flung country remains unclear, however.
The Department of Homeland Security’s response to Abrego Garcia’s release was unsurprisingly one of frustration,
Secretary Kristi Noem took to X to lament the fact that someone she deemed a “monster” was freed by “activist liberal judges.”
Indicating the administration’s resolve to remove Abrego Garcia once and for all, Noem stated, “We will not stop fighting till this Salvadoran man faces justice and is OUT of our country.”
In the earlier stages of the 2024 presidential campaign, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made headlines for assembling an unusual coalition of supporters from both the right and the left sides of the political spectrum before eventually throwing his support behind Donald Trump.
Now firmly entrenched as Health and Human Services secretary, Kennedy has declared that, despite speculation in the media, he does not intend to pursue the presidency in 2028, as Politico reports.
The statement from Kennedy indicating his disinterest in running for the White House in the next presidential cycle appeared to stem from criticism leveled by conservative commentator Laura Loomer, who blasted top HHS aide and RFK ally Stefanie Spear, accusing her of working to “utilize her position to try to lay the groundwork for a 2028 RFK presidential run.”
Kennedy swiftly fired back against that notion, taking to X to explain his position on the matter.
The secretary began, “The swamp is in full panic mode. DC lobby shops are laboring fiercely to drive a wedge between President Trump and me, hoping to thwart our team from dismantling the status quo and advancing @POTUS’ Make America Healthy Again agenda.”
He continued, “They’re pushing the flat-out lie that I’m running for president in 2028. Let me be clear: I am not running for president in 2028.”
Referencing criticism of the aforementioned aide, he added, “Their attacks on my staff, especially Stefanie Spear…are proof we’re over the target.”
Though she holds no official position within the administration, Loomer has long been a staunch defender of and advocate for the president.
As such, her investigative journalism has often revolved around exposing those in the government she believes pose a threat to Trump’s agenda, as The Hill explains.
Trump, for his part, has revealed that he “sometimes” heeds Loomer’s recommendations when it comes to personnel.
It was perhaps that fact that compelled Kennedy to jump to Spear’s defense in such a public manner and tamp down rumors of future presidential ambitions.
Given that Loomer’s past targets included Trump’s initial surgeon general pick (who was withdrawn) and also his subsequent pick for the role, as well as Vinay Prasad’s selection for a key FDA role (which was rescinded, then restored), it is clear that she wields at least some degree of influence in some corners of the White House.
Whether Kennedy keeps his word and stays out of the electoral fray ahead of 2028 is something that remains to be seen, but as far as Loomer is concerned, her work is just beginning.
“I’m not stopping,” she recently said. “I’m only going to intensify.”
A federal judge has ruled that Alina Habba, who was a former attorney for President Donald Trump, was not authorised to serve as acting United States Attorney for New Jersey, Just the News reported. Habba's term expired last month, and the Senate has yet to confirm her, but she remained in place through a series of moves which the judge said may have been improperly applied.
Interim appointments are limited to 120 days, but the Trump administration attempted to keep Habba in place through a series of moves that included firing the person in place to take over her position. U.S. District Judge Matthew Brann said in his 77-page decision Thursday that these tactics were "not lawful," but suspended his ruling pending appeal.
“Faced with the question of whether Ms. Habba is lawfully performing the functions and duties of the office of the United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey, I conclude that she is not," Brann said. The case was brought by two New Jersey drug-trafficking suspects whose prosecution began before Habba took over, which is why Brann denied a request to dismiss the case based solely on the validity of Habba's appointment.
Following the judge's decision, Habba called out the "rogue judges" who have thwarted the Trump agenda and her appointment, the New York Post reported. "I am the pick of the president. I am the pick of Pam Bondi, our attorney general, and I will serve this country like I have for the last several years, in any capacity," Habba told Fox News's Sean Hannity on Thursday.
Trump managed to keep Habba in her position without confirmation by using an unorthodox approach. Once the interim term is up and the seat is vacant, the first assistant is supposed to take the place of the U.S. attorney, who, in this case, was First Assistant US Attorney in New Jersey, Desiree Leigh Grace.
However, Bondi fired Grace, and Trump withdrew Habba from consideration and made her the first assistant as a roundabout way of allowing Habba to ease into the position of acting U.S. Attorney of New Jersey once again. Last month, a panel of federal judges who were mostly appointed by Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden could have allowed Habba's appointment but declined.
Brann was appointed by Obama, and this fact plays into Habba's assertion that this is another case of judges becoming "activists" against the administration. "It’s disturbing, what we’re seeing," Habba told host Sean Hannity.
"And Pam Bondi called it like it is. The attorney general said it today. We will not fall to rogue judges," Habba pledged.
"We will not fall to people trying to be political when they should just be doing their job: respecting the president. And you can’t get rid of the president," Habba added. The Trump administration has faced opposition from judges on many issues, but Habba is clearly up to the challenge, considering her experience as Trump's attorney.
Before rising to the district attorney's office, Habba was one of the attorneys who defended Trump in his New York civil fraud case. Although he initially lost and was forced to pay a $500 million verdict in that case, the judgment was tossed out in an appeal on Friday, Fox News reported.
Habba celebrated the verdict in a post to X, formerly Twitter, on Friday. "Surreal moment watching this win from my office today in Newark, NJ," Habba wrote.
"I will always fight for the truth and justice to be served. It has taken years to get here and the fight continues to Save America. GOD BLESS PRESIDENT TRUMP AND THE USA."

Trump has fought against his opponents in politics and in courtrooms, and it seems they are not giving up when it comes to issues like Habba's appointment. However, Trump is winning these fights in the end, and surely the issue over Habba's rightful appointment is not something the president will abandon, especially since she has been loyal to him through it all.
Canada agrees to give up retaliatory tariffs on many goods imported from the U.S. as trade talks continue between Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and President Donald Trump, the Washington Examiner reported. Carney announced the change on Friday, stating that the rules will now align with the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement trade exemptions.
The news comes after a "productive" phone call between the leaders of both nations on Thursday as relations between Carney and Trump continue to improve. The pair has hammered out a deal that has put the increased tariffs on hold.
"Canada currently has the best trade deal with the United States. And while it’s different from what we had before, it’s still better than that of any other country," Carney said during the news conference. A clip of Carney's remarks was shared to X, formerly Twitter, on Friday.

The change to the tariff policy will go into effect on Sept. 1, though Canada will continue to impose its tariffs on aluminum, autos, and steel. This is a step toward reconciliation as the U.S. and Canada work together to make trade between the nations "fair" and defuse a trade war.
Trump announced plans for a 50% tariff on Canadian aluminum and steel and a 35% tariff on all other goods from the U.S.'s neighbor to the north earlier this year. Canada returned the favor with a 25% tariff on imports of American goods like alcohol, clothing and shoes, cosmetics, oranges, and motorcycles from the U.S.
Eager to strike a deal, Ottawa agreed to a new trade deal and began negotiations with the Trump administration. Some of those concessions included rolling back taxes on digital services and putting a hold on the retaliatory tax that should have already gone into effect while talks continued, Fox Business News reported.
Forging a new agreement was a priority for Carney and Trump as the two nations have historically enjoyed a robust trade relationship. Canada imported nearly half of its goods from the U.S. and exported more than 75% of its products to the U.S., making them each other's primary trade partner.
Prior to this new agreement, Democrats were making doomsday predictions about Trump's tariffs and the effect potential trade wars would have on the U.S. economy. Now, one by one, Trump is succeeding with these negotiations that were previously deemed impossible while winning in other areas.
While the left loses its mind, Trump continues to notch one win after the next while trolling his opposition. As part of his victory lap on Friday, Trump reportedly wore a cap that said "Trump was right about everything" during his remarks about the tariff agreement.
"We want to be very good to Canada. I like Carney a lot. I think he’s a good person," Trump said of the Canadian prime minister. The president promised that they would continue to work together to find common ground on other issues, including stopping the flow of illicit drugs pouring over the northern border.
Trump has justified the high tariffs on Canada over its role in the fentanyl crisis in the U.S. that Trump's adversaries have attempted to downplay. As the White House noted just before the punitive tariffs went into effect on Aug. 1, "Mexican cartels are increasingly operating fentanyl- and nitazene-synthesis labs in Canada" and that "super labs" are popping up as they're well-hidden by the Canadian wilderness.
The White House noted that these labs "can produce 44 to 66 pounds of fentanyl weekly." Meanwhile, Canada's decision to drop the tariffs comes during a string of other Trump victories. According to The Hill, Trump boasted several wins this week, including his fruitful meetings with the leaders of Russia and Ukraine, a crime crackdown in Washington, D.C., and the news that his $500 million civil judgment in New York was thrown out.
Trump knows what he's doing despite what the left and never-Trump Republicans have to say about him and his agenda. The nation is moving in the right direction on several issues, and the improvement in trade relations with Canada is just another win.
Ghislaine Maxwell, the right-hand woman of the late billionaire sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, is disputing the claim that Epstein died by suicide.
According to newly released interview transcripts, Maxwell was adamant that Epstein didn't kill himself, echoing a sentiment that has reigned supreme ever since Epstein's suspicious death in a prison cell that was labeled a suicide.
The hundreds of pages of redacted transcripts and handful of audio clips released on Friday come after months of demands from both conservative and liberal voters who want transparency on Epstein's death.
Epstein was too powerful and too well-connected, and it was expected that his testimony in his sex trafficking trial would likely implicate many extremely powerful individuals in his horrific crimes.
When Epstein died of "suicide" in a prison cell, while the prison's camera system was conveniently down for maintenance, it created a wave of outrage. Now the Trump administration is doing its best to be transparent, and Maxwell's interview transcripts are a big step in accomplishing that goal.
Maxwell is the key to uncovering the truth about Epstein's sex trafficking network that reportedly serviced the rich and powerful for decades.
While Maxwell herself is no doubt a monster who is complicit in Epstein's crimes, her testimony and statements are invaluable for uncovering the truth and even exposing some of Epstein's affluent and powerful clients.
Epstein was connected to every high-profile figure, from Donald Trump, who was New York's biggest real estate tycoon, to former President Bill Clinton, who spent a significant amount of time on Epstein's private jets and island resorts.
Many leftists claim that Trump was likely involved in Epstein's criminal enterprises, but Maxwell refuted those claims, and this is supported by Trump's public falling out with Epstein over twenty years ago.
Furthermore, there was no chance that there was dirt on Trump related to Epstein that the previous administration wouldn't have used. If there was evidence that Trump was a participant in Epstein's crimes, it would have been rolled out by Biden's presidential campaign.
Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking a minor to Epstein and other sex crimes, which likely constitute a fraction of her crimes. However, if the Trump administration can continue to get her to talk, it's likely that more significant information will come out.
There are rumors that Maxwell could be angling for a pardon from Trump, but it's likely that Maxwell would have to trade truly monumental information in order to land a pardon, considering her extensive crimes against children.
Maxwell's attorney suggested that she would be willing to testify in front of Congress if Trump agreed to give her clemency. Whether Trump would be willing to grant that privilege depends on how many names Maxwell can give up.
This situation is an ongoing story to keep a close eye on. For the first time in years, there is a real chance that Americans will get justice, and the rich and powerful might actually face consequences after decades of immunity.
