California law would effectively ban the Bible

California lawmakers about to take a step that will infuriate God-fearing Americans.

A new bill that is working its way through the California House could ban the sale of the Bible.

The Legislation

The new bill, AB 2943, is rather loosely worded.

It would seem lawmakers did this purposely.

The legislation will make it an “unlawful business practice” for any transactions that engage in “sexual orientation change efforts with an individual.”

The bill then goes on to define “change efforts” as “efforts to change behaviors or gender expressions, or eliminate or reduce sexual or romantic attractions or feelings towards individuals of the same sex.”

As far as the Bible is concerned, sex is something that occurs in marriage between a man and a woman.

By the strict interpretation of the new legislation, the sale of the Bible would fall into this category since it is “forcing” a specific belief based on gender roles.

I want you to think about that…

This legislation is literally suggesting banning books.

Not only that, but it would specifically ban the selling of books related to Christian beliefs.

Moving Forward

Most modern religious leaders have succumbed to modern ways.

While there are still obvious reservations, these leaders realize that by ostracizing these groups, they are possibly stunting the growth of their organizations.

What most religious groups are now preaching is that people find solace in God, not in their sexual orientation.

However, because the Bible and other religious texts discuss sexual morality, they would be banned.

Liberals are clearly taking things too far.

It is as though the nutcases in this world were waiting for a reason to justify their insane actions and the election of Donald Trump gave them the excuse they needed.

Still think upcoming elections are not important?
