The left has taken an ugly turn, trying to pin recent horrific tragedies on the President.
After last week’s shooting at the Capital Gazette, one reporter placed the blame on Trump, saying the shooter dropped a “Make America Great Again” hat on the scene.
This, of course, did not happen, and the reporter ended up resigning over it.
Blaming Trump seems to be par for the course whenever something happens these days.
In addition to the reporter mentioned above, a Reuters editor directly tied the shooting to Trump.
Rob Cox, Breakingviews Editor for Reuters, later apologized to the President when it was revealed the shooter was upset with management at the paper, not the President.
Other outlets tried to say the shooting took place because of Trump’s constant shaming of the press.
Of course, they too were proven wrong.
Now that Trump will get to appoint his second Supreme Court Justice, the media is trying to make it sound as though the apocalypse is coming.
On one hand, they chastise him over the plight of undocumented immigrant children.
On the other hand, they worry about Roe v. Wade being overturned.
It just doesn’t make sense.
Not Reporting News
The days of the mainstream media reporting actual news would appear to be over.
Rather than reporting straight news, there always seems to be some snide commentary against Trump in every story.
Mind you, these are not meant to be opinion pieces, but news stories.
How editors for these publications can justify this is beyond our understanding.
