Billionaire Bill Gates is in the hot seat after a video interview emerged that showed Gates appearing extremely uncomfortable when asked about his relationship with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
During an interview with PBS Tuesday night, the Billionaire philanthropist looked out of his element when anchor Judy Woodruff asked about Epstein. Gates and Epstein crossed paths many times, and Gate’s reaction to the question suggests he may have had more than a passing relationship with the billionaire pedophile.
Woodruff asked Gates, “It was reported at that time that you had a number of meetings with Jeffrey Epstein, who—when you met him 10 years ago—he was convicted of soliciting prostitution from minors. What did you know about him when you were meeting with him, as you’ve said yourself, in the hopes of raising money?”
Gates’ behavior, for many, suggests his ties with Epstein are more extensive than he wants the public to know.
Skeletons in the closet
When Woodruff pressed the issue, Gates responded by fidgeting and saying, “You know, I had dinner with him. I regret doing that. He had relationships with people he said, you know, would give to global health, which is an interest I have. Not nearly enough philanthropy goes in that direction.”
However, Gates did much more than just dinner with Epstein. Gates met with Epstein repeatedly over a span of years, as The New York Times reported, suggesting the two either had a good business relationship, or something worse was happening.
Woodruff went on to ask Gates, “Is there a lesson for you, for anyone else, looking at this?” Gates responded by saying, “Well, he’s dead, so…you know, in general, you always have to be careful. And you know, the, you know, I’m—I’m very proud of what we’ve done in philanthropy and very proud of the work of the foundation. You know, that’s—that’s what I get up every day and focus on.”
Gates pointing out that Epstein is dead and saying “you always have to be careful” means a lot considering the circumstances of Epstein’s death. Epstein’s cause of death is shrouded in confusion, and there are strong allegations that powerful people wanted him dead.
For Gates to then go on to talk about how proud he is of his philanthropy work makes his response even more bizarre. Gates doesn’t want to talk about Epstein, and there are a host of explanations as to why.
On the surface, it seems highly likely that Gates and Epstein had a close relationship. The connection between the two billionaires was strong enough to create tension in Gates’s marriage, which he recently ended.
Information that has recently surfaced alleges that Epstein acted as a sex trafficker for his rich friends, as reported by NBC News. Epstein would give his friends access to young girls, putting anyone close to Epstein in a very uncomfortable spotlight.
Could it be possible that Gates knew about Epstein’s horrific behavior and chose to ignore it? Worse yet, was Gates one of Epstein’s clients willing to do anything to keep Epstein from telling the world about his secrets?
