Bill Cosby finally got some good news.
According to the family spokesman, Andrew Wyatt, his wife Camille is not considering divorce, contrary to recent reports.
After Cosby’s guilty verdict came back for sexual assault, everyone was waiting to see how his wife, Camille, would react.
It only took a few days for the rumors of Camille getting ready to leave Bill Cosby to surface.
She stood by his side throughout the trial, but one can only imagine what was going through her mind.
With the rumors having picked up considerably over the last few days, Wyatt was trying to do some damage control.
We have to, of course, take him at his word — but it would not be a surprise to see Camille tell a different story in coming days.
So Many Women
While Cosby is only facing charges by one woman, that was just the tip of the iceberg.
Several women have come forward about Cosby, telling horrific stories of rape and sexual misconduct by the famous comedian.
Hearing the details of these cases discussed in the media had to take its toll on Camille.
Then, having to sit in that courtroom and listen to the sordid details of case for which he was being tried — well, that would be enough to break anyone.
Cosby had hired some high-profile attorneys to defend him, but it was all for naught.
Attorney Tom Mesereua and his team have been replaced by a local Philadelphia attorney, Joseph Green.
Green is reportedly one of the top attorneys in the city for sex crimes cases.
Sentencing for Cosby will take place on Sept. 24.
He currently faces sentencing for three counts of aggravated indecent assault.
The new attorney’s challenge will be to somehow get the charges reduced enough so that Cosby does not die in prison. But we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
